4TRIM14 promotes endothelial activation via activating NF-κB signaling pathway显示文摘Endothelial activation by proinflammatory cytokines is closely associated to the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis and other vascular diseases;however, the molecular mechanisms controlling endothelial activation are not fully understood. Here we identify TRIM14 as a new positive regulator of endothelial activation via activating NF-κB signal pathway. TRIM14 is highly expressed in human vascular endothelial cells (ECs) and markedly induced by inflammatory stimuli such as TNF-α, IL-1β, and LPS. Overexpression of TRIM14 significantly increased the expression of adhesion molecules such as VCAM-1, ICAM-1, E-selectin, and cytokines such as CCL2, IL-8, CXCL-1, and TNF-α in activated ECs and by which it facilitated monocyte adhesion to ECs. Conversely, knockdown of TRIM14 has opposite effect on endothelial activation. Upon TNF-α stimulation, TRIM14 is recruited to IKK complex via directly binding to NEMO and promotes the phosphorylation of IκBα and p65, which is dependent on its K63-linked ubiquitination. Meanwhile, p65 can directly bind to the promoter regions of human TRIM14 gene and control its mRNA transcription. Finally, TRIM14 protein level is significantly upregulated in mouse and human atheroma compared to normal arteries. 6Occurrence and transfer of heavy metals in sediments and plants of Aegiceras corniculatum community in the Qinzhou Bay,southwestern China显示文摘Mangrove wetlands can reduce heavy metal pollution by trapping heavy metals.In this study,the concentration,transport and bioaccumulation of Cr,Cd,Cu,Zn and Pb in the sediments and different parts of Aegiceras corniculatum at four different sites in the Qinzhou Bay in southwestern China were investigated.The results showed that although the potential ecological risk of all five heavy metals was slight,the concentration of Cr was at a moderate pollution level due to the emissions of industries and aquaculture waste water.Core sediment records indicated that the concentrations of heavy metals at the depth of 0–20 cm were relatively high,showing an increasing trend of heavy metals over the past 20–30 years.Cr,Cu,Pb and Cd accumulated mainly in the roots of A.corniculatum,while Zn accumulated mainly in the stems.Aegiceras corniculatum showed the strongest transport capacity for Zn and Cu and the strongest bioaccumulation ability for Cd.Compared with other mangrove communities,A.corniculatum can be chosen as a restoration species in tropical and subtropical coastal zones polluted by Zn,Cu and Cd.Xing Huang Xueping Wang Xiuzhen Li Zhongzheng Yan Yongguang Sun 2020Acta Oceanologica Sinica2020,39,2:2

9Multifunctional Reduced Graphene Oxide Hydrogel as Drug Carrier for Localized and Synergic Photothermal/Photodynamics/Chemo Therapy显示文摘To combine localized drug release with multimodal therapy for malignant tumor, a composite hydrogel as an integrative drug delivery system was facilely prepared. The system contains spinach extract(SE),reduced graphene oxide(r GO) and gold nanocages(Au NCs). SE conduces to the formation of hydrogel,and also serves as a green material for improving the biocompatibility of hydrogel, and a natural photosensitizer for killing tumor cells under laser radiation(660 nm). Au NCs show obvious photothermy and can enhance the generation of cytotoxic singlet oxygen(1O2). The composite hydrogel shell on tumor cells exhibits several competitive advantages including enhanced antitumor effect by retaining the high concentration of drugs around cancer cell, excellent PDT/PTT compatibility as well as high loading and controllable release of fluorouracil(5-FU) for synergetic multimodal treatment. The survival rate of He La cells incubated with 5-FU loaded hydrogel under NIR radiation for 10 min sharply decreases to 1.2%, indicating remarkably improved antitumor effects. 10Optimization of Ultrasonic Extraction Process of Oenanthe benghalensis Polysaccharide by Orthogonal Test显示文摘[Objectives] The research aimed to explore extraction method of Oenanthe benghalensis polysaccharide,and determine the optimal process of its ultrasonic extraction by orthogonal test. [Methods] Phenol-sulfuric acid method was used to determine polysaccharide's content. Based on single-factor experiment and orthogonal test,the influences of solid-liquid ratio( A),ultrasonic extraction temperature( B),ultrasonic power( C) and ultrasonic time( D) on extraction rate of O. benghalensis polysaccharide were studied,and the optimal process of ultrasonic extraction was selected. [Results] The influence order of solid-liquid ratio( A),ultrasonic extraction temperature( B),ultrasonic power( C) and ultrasonic time( D) on extraction rate of O. benghalensis polysaccharide was A > D > B > C. Via the orthogonal test,it was determined that the optimal extraction condition of O. benghalensis polysaccharide was as below: solid-liquid ratio 1∶ 25( g/mL),extraction temperature 60℃,extraction power 80 W,extraction time 40 min. Under the condition,extraction rate of O. benghalensis polysaccharide was9. 80%. 15Waterlogging risk assessment for winter wheat using multi-source data in the middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River显示文摘Waterlogging is a serious agro-meteorological disaster caused by excessive soil water,which usually causes tremendous crop yield losses.The region of middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River in China is an important production base of winter wheat,and is an area prone to waterlogging.The risk assessment of winter wheat waterlogging can provide more thorough understanding about the risk-prone environment related with food safety in this region.This study combined a variety of environmental and agricultural factors and assessed the waterlogging risk of winter wheat from the aspects of sensitivity of hazard formative environments,hazard risk,and vulnerability of hazard-affected body using multi-source data.Furthermore,it constructed a compound waterlogging risk assessment model to classify the study area into high,relatively high,moderate,and low risky areas,respectively.The results showed that the proposed model could more comprehensively reflect the occurrence mechanism of winter wheat waterlogging by synchronizing geographical,agricultural,and meteorological factors.The waterlogging regionalization based on the model could reasonably represent the spatial distribution and differentiate regional characteristics of winter wheat waterlogging in the study area.Yuanyuan Chen Jingfeng Huang Xiaodong Song Hongyan Wu Shaoxue Sheng Zhixiong Liu Xiuzhen Wang 2018International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,5:0
16Effect of inguinal hernia on the thickness and blood flow of spermatic cord in boys显示文摘Objective To evaluate the effect of inguinal hernia(IH)on the spermatic cord using spermatic cord ultrasonography(SCU).Methods From January 2016 to January 2017,boys with IH who received SCU at the start of open herniorrhaphy(OH)were enrolled in this study.The age and weight at SCU,width of the spermatic cord(SC-W),peak systolic velocity(PSV)in the spermatic artery(SA-PSV)and velocity in the pampiniform plexus(PP-V),and the interval between the initial and the second OH in boys with metachronous inguinal hernia(MIH)were recorded,and the relationship among them was studied.Boys with unilateral IH comprised the IH group,and boys with MIH comprised the MIH group.Boys with polydactylism served as the control.One-way analysis of variance tested the differences among groups.Spearman’s r tested the relationship between SC-W in the MIH group and the interval.results A total of 80 boys were enrolled in this study(IH group 29,MIH group 26,and control group 25).SA-PSV and PP-V in the hernia side were faster and slower than the control,respectively.There was no significant difference in PP-V and SA-PSV of the treated side in the MIH group and in the control group.After herniorrhaphy,SC-W was tapered down to normal size.SC-W,SA-PSV,and PP-V in the treated side were all highly correlated to the interval in a curvilinear manner.Conclusion PSV was positively correlated with SC-W in boys with IH,and PP-V was negatively correlated;herniorrhaphy could reverse the impairment.Shoujiang Huang Canping Li Xiuzhen Yang Jianfeng Liang Dongpi Wang 2019World Journal of Pediatric Surgery2019,2,2:0

18A Genetic-Algorithm-Based Information Evolution Model for Social Networks显示文摘the existing information diffusion models focus on analyzing the spatial distribution of certain pieces of messages in social networks. However, these conventional models ignored another important characteristic of diffusion: gradually changing of message contents due to the ‘new' and ‘comment' mechanisms. A novel genetic-algorithm-based information evolution model is proposed to reproduce both the diffusion and development process of information in social networks. This model firstly proposes a five-tuple to represent three types of topics: independent, competitive and mutually exclusive. Furthermore, it adopts mutation operator and forms new crossover and mutation rules to simulate four typical interactions between individuals, which bring the advantage of reproducing the information evolution process in both popularity and content.A series of experiments tested on public datasets demonstrate that: 1) independent and competitive topics of information rarely affect each other while mutually exclusive topics significantly suppress the diffusion processes of each other; 2) lower mutation probability leads to decreasing of final information amount. 19Transcriptome profile analysis of the accompanying migratory parasitic wasp Aenasius bambawalei(=Aenasius arizonensis girault)(Hymenoptera:Encyrtidae):Genes related to fertilization involved at different stage of ovary development显示文摘Age-related declines in fertilization success have been reported for a wide range of species.The fertilization of parasitic wasps is closely related to egg production and sperm storage.Aenasius bambawalei(Hymenoptera:Encyridae)is a key parasitic wasp of the important invasive mealybug Phenacoccus solenopsis(Hemiptera:Pseudococcidae).The female offspring ratio of this parasitic wasp was declined with parental age in mass rearing under laboratory conditions.To investigate the molecular mechanisms involved in the reproduction of A.bambawalei,an extensive analysis of the impact of age on transcriptome profile of mated ovaries of this wasp was performed by comparing the gene expression profiles of various maternal ages:the early stage(ES),the intermediate stage(IS),and the advanced stage(AS).In total,358 differentially expressed genes were identified,with 17.60%(63 genes)of the changes associated with greater expression in fertilization.Moreover,the expression of serine protease 47 precursor,serine protease inhibitor 3/4,glucose dehydrogenase,fatty acyl-CoA reductase 1-like,major royal jelly,and acyl-CoA delta(11)desaturase-like was detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative(RT-qPCR).The results showed that fertilization related genes exhibited a stage-specific pattern.Egg production and sperm storage genes in A.bambawalei were significantly modified in the transcriptome,providing a starting point for the genetic dissection of fertilization.JUAN ZHANG JUN HUANG YAYUAN TANG XIUZHEN LONG 2022BIOCELL2022,46,1:0
20Real- and momentum-indirect neutral and charged excitons in a multi-valley semiconductor显示文摘Excitons dominate the photonic and optoelectronic properties of a material.Although significant advancements exist in understanding various types of excitons,progress on excitons that are indirect in both real-and momentum-spaces is still limited.Here,we demonstrate the real-and momentum-indirect neutral and charged excitons(including their phonon replicas)in a multi-valley semiconductor of bilayer MoS_(2),by performing electric-field/doping-density dependent photoluminescence.Together with first-principles calculations,we uncover that the observed real-and momentum-indirect exciton involves electron/hole from K/Γvalley,solving the longstanding controversy of its momentum origin.Remarkably,the binding energy of real-and momentum-indirect charged exciton is extremely large(i.e.,~59 meV),more than twice that of real-and momentum-direct charged exciton(i.e.,~24 meV).The giant binding energy,along with the electrical tunability and long lifetime,endows real-and momentum-indirect excitons an emerging platform to study many-body physics and to illuminate developments in photonics and optoelectronics.Zhiheng Huang Yuhui Li Tao Bo Yanchong Zhao Fanfan Wu Lu Li Yalong Yuan Yiru Ji Le Liu Jinpeng Tian Yanbang Chu Xiaozhou Zan Yalin Peng Xiuzhen Li Yangkun Zhang Kenji Watanabe Takashi Taniguchi Zhipei Sun Wei Yang Dongxia Shi Shixuan Du Luojun Du Guangyu Zhang 2023National Science Open2023,2,4:0
