| 2 | Design and indoor simulated experiment of pneumatic rice seed metering device显示文摘In order to meet the agronomy demand for hybrid rice direct seeding,a novel precise pneumatic rice seed metering device was designed with groups of sucking holes plate,by which 3-4 seeds could be synchronously sucked and synchronously dropped into the paddy field.The plate was divided into five sections:seed sucking,seed clearing,seed carrying,seed dropping,and blank sections.The seeds were sucked in sucking section by the vacuum,carried and rotated to the dropping section with the plate,blown away in dropping section by the positive pressure air,and thrown into the dropping tube.The influences of the hole diameter,vacuum degree,and clear-up equipment on precision of metering device were discussed.Experiments were conducted to investigate the seeding precision and simulate the field emergence rates on the indoor seeding test-bed.The subjects were pregnant Indic hybrid Peizataifeng under two kinds of moisture content(23.43%and 26.07%).Other experiment conditions included the vacuum degree of 2.60 kPa,the rotation speed of seed sucking plate of 30 r/min,three sucking holes with a diameter of 1.6 mm,and the seed layer thickness of 25 mm.The seeding results showed that,in condition of no more than two seeds per hill,the emergence probabilities under the two moisture contents were 11.82%and 11.95%,respectively,and in condition of 3-4 seeds per hill,the results were 64.81%and 65.84%,respectively.With 2-5 seeds per hill,the results were 92.08%and 92.60%,respectively.If the emergence probability was 80%,under the two moisture contents,the no seed per hill probabilities were 1.33%and 0.80%respectively;the probabilities with 3-4 seeds per hill were 56.13%and 56.40%respectively;the probabilities with 5 or more seeds per hill were 10.67%and 10.13%respectively;the probabilities with 2-5 seeds per hill were 87.60%and 88.13%respectively.The results showed the simulated experiment was an efficient and economic method to assess the capability of pneumatic rice seed drilling metering device,and the precise pneumatic rice seed drilling metering device had a good prospect in practical application. | Zhang Guozhong Zang Ying Luo Xiwen Wang Zaiman Zhang Qiang Zhang Shasha | 2015 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2015,8,4: | 19 |
| 3 | Study of dynamic hydrophobicity of micro-structured hydrophobic surfaces and lotus leaves显示文摘The dynamic wetting characteristics of water droplets on silicon wafers with microscale regular pillars structures and fresh lotus leaves are investigated experimentally.We measured the static contact angle,contact angle hysteresis,and roll-off angle of water droplets on both of these superhydrophobic surfaces with a high speed contact angle meter.The dynamic contact angles and internal velocity distribution of water droplets on superhydrophobic surfaces were studied with a high-speed camera system and a particle image velocimetry (PIV) system,respectively.We found that the acceleration of water droplets when they slide off lotus leaves is greater than that of water droplets sliding off the silicon wafers with microscale pillar structures although the static contact angles of water droplets on lotus leaves are slightly smaller than those on the silicon wafers.The reason is that water droplets sliding off lotus leaves have smaller contact angle hysteresis and larger slip velocities.These results indicate that the dynamic contact angle hysteresis and sliding acceleration of liquid droplets are more suitable for reflecting the hydrophobicity of material surfaces compared with static contact angles.Our experiments also show that lotus leaves with multiscale micro/nanostructures have stronger hydrophobicity and self-cleaning properties compared with the micro-structured superhydrophobic surfaces. | HAO PengFei YAO ZhaoHui ZHANG XiWen | 2011 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2011,54,4: | 10 |
| 4 | Designing N-doped graphene/ReSe_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2) MXene heterostructure frameworks as promising anodes for high-rate potassium-ion batteries显示文摘Developing high-performance anodes for potassium ion batteries(KIBs) is of paramount significance but remains challenging.In the normal sense,electrode materials are prepared by ubiquitous wet chemical routes,which otherwise might not be versatile enough to create desired heterostructures and/or form clean interfacial areas for fast transport of K-ions and electrons.Along this line,rate capability/cycling stability of resulting KIBs are greatly handicapped.Herein we present an all-chemical vapor deposition approach to harness the direct synthesis of nitrogen-doped graphene(NG)/rhenium diselenide(ReSe_2)hybrids over three-dimensional MXene supports as superior heterostructure anode material for KIBs.In such an innovative design,1 T'-ReSe2 nanoparticles are sandwiched in between the NG coatings and MXene frameworks via strong interfacial interactions,thereby affording facile K~+ diffusion,enhancing overall conductivity,boosting high-power performance and reinforcing structural stability of electrodes.Thus-constructed anode delivers an excellent rate performance of 138 mAh g^(-1) at 10.0 A g^(-1) and a high reversible capacity of 90 mAh g^(-1) at 5 A g^(-1) after 300 cycles.Furthermore,the potassium storage mechanism has been systematically probed by advanced in situlex situ characterization techniques in combination with first principles computations. | Zhou Xia Xiwen Chen Haina Cia Zhaodi Fan Yuyang Yi Wanjian Yin Nan Wei Jingsheng Cai Yanfeng Zhang Jingyu Sun | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,2: | 9 |

| 6 | Preparation of novel bovine hemoglobin surface-imprinted polystyrene nanoparticles with magnetic susceptibility显示文摘In this research, a surface imprinting strategy has been adopted in protein imprinting. Bovine hemo-globin surface-imprinted polystyrene (PS) nanoparticles with magnetic susceptibility have been syn-thesized through multistage core-shell polymerization system using 3-aminophenylboronic acid (APBA) as functional and cross-linking monomers. Superparamagnetic molecularly imprinted polystyrene nanospheres with poly(APBA) thin films have been synthesized and used for the first time for protein molecular imprinting in an aqueous solution. The magnetic susceptibility is imparted through the successful encapsulation of Fe3O4 nanoparticles. The morphology, adsorption, and recognition prop-erties of superparamagnetic molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) have been investigated using transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis, and vibrating sample magnetometer. Rebinding experimental results show that poly(APBA) MIPs-coated superparamagnetic PS nanoparticles have high adsorption capacity for template protein bovine hemoglobin and compara-tively low nonspecific adsorption. | 13 | Design and field evaluation of hill-drop pneumatic central cylinder direct-seeding machine for hybrid rice显示文摘To meet the requirement of the precision direct-seeding for hybrid rice,this study aimed to design a hill-drop pneumatic central cylinder direct-seeding machine to sow ten rows at a time.A series of orthogonal experiments were conducted to investigate the performance of the cylinder seeder.The influences of the hole diameters,degree of vacuum,and rotational speed of the cylinder were tested on JPS-12 computer-vision seeding test platform,and the rotational speed of 10-50 r/min,diameter of 135 mm and a negative pressure of 1.0-2.0 kPa were employed.Test results showed that the optimal parameter combination was a vacuum of 2.0 kPa and a hole diameter of 2.0 mm(straight hole),with a rotational speed of 30 r/min.The probability of(2±1)seeds in each hole was 95.3%,while the probability of seed-missing hole was 2.0%.A series of field experiments were then conducted to test the seeder performance according to China National Standard Test Methods,and the field test results showed that for the hill-drop pneumatic central cylinder direct-seeding machine,the probability of(2±1)seeds in each hill was 91.6%,while the probability of seed-missing hill was 2.7%.The yield data showed that the average effective panicle had 231.25 ears,the average seed setting rate was 9.92%,the average 1000-grain weight was 22.45 g,and the average yield was 7107.9 kg/hm^(2) that was 26.14%higher than the average yield of rice(5634.9 kg/hm^(2))of Guangdong Province in 2016.The results showed that the hill-drop pneumatic central cylinder direct-seeding machine for hybrid rice could be applied in practical precision rice seeding. | Baolong Wang Xiwen Luo Zaiman Wang Le Zheng Minghua Zhang Yizheng Dai He Xing | 2018 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,6: | 4 |

| 15 | Active loading liposomal irinotecan hydrochloride:Preparation,in vitro and in vivo evaluation显示文摘The aim of the present study was to investigate the effect of various transmembrane ammonium salt gradients and different lipid composition on the loading efficiency of liposomal formulations of irinotecan hydrochloride(CPT-11),their behavior in vivo and cytotoxicity.Among ammonium salts studied,ammonium sulfate was successfully used to load CPT-11 into liposomes with the highest encapsulation efficiency.Subsequently,liposomal CPT-11 with different lipid composition was prepared by ammonium sulfate gradient method.CPT-11 can be loaded to a level over 90%into liposomes composed of soybean phospholipids/cholesterol(SPC-L)or hydrogenated natural soybean phospholipids/cholesterol(HSPC-L).In vitro release profiles were also investigated,indicating that HSPC-L had a lower release than that in SPC-L.In vivo,encapsulation of CPT-11 in both liposomal formulations showed higher area under the curve(AUC),a lower rate of clearance(CL)and smaller volume of distribution for CPT-11 than those of irinotecan hydrochloride solution(CPT-11-S).However,CL and AUC of 7-ethyl-10-hydroxycamptothecin(SN-38)were moderately improved in HSPC-L group.Based on the results of comparative pharmacokinetics of liposomal CPT-11 with different lipid composition,the in vitro cytotoxicity of HSPC-L was evaluated with human tumor cell.The result indicated that liposomal CPT-11 showed a great enhancement in vitro cytotoxicity.The results suggested that entrapment of CPT-11 in liposomes especially in those with high phase-transition temperature lipid by ammonium sulfate gradient would be a promising formulation with a better in vivo behavior. | Hongyan Wei Juan Song Hao Li Yang Li Shanshan Zhu Xiaodan Zhou Xiwen Zhang Li Yang | 2013 | Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2013,8,5: | 3 |
| 16 | Hepatic encephalopathy complicated with hyponatremia and acid-base disturbance and its prognosis显示文摘Objective:To improve the diagnosis and therapeutic effect of occurrence and development of hyponatremia and disorder of acid-base balance among patients with hepatic encephalopathy(HE) by elucidating the regularity and mechanism,as well as its influence on prognosis.Methods:327 HE patients admitted to our hospital from January 1990 to June 2010 were enrolled.Meanwhile 316 patients hospitalized in the medical department of the same hospital were chosen as the control group.Patients in both groups were given the same methods to measure arterial blood gas parameters(pH value,PaCO2,[HCO3-],TCO2,BE and SaO2),blood biochemistry([Na+],[K+],[Cl-]),liver function,kidney function and blood glucose,serum sodium,and thereupon tocalculate the anion gap(AG) and the potential [HCO3-],and acid-base balance disorder.Results:Among the 327 HE patients,hyponatremia was found in 188 cases(57.4%),of whom 132 patients died(70.2%).While among the 316 patients in control group,68 presented with hyponatremia(21.5%),and 19 died(27.9%).The incidence and mortality were significantly different between the two groups(P<0.001).All the 327 patients presented with different degrees of acid-base balance disorder and 178 died(54.4%),in whom 164(50.2%) belonged to simple acid-base balance disorder and 74(45.1%) died,136(41.6%) were dual acid-base balance disorder and 80(58.8%) died,27(8.2%) were triple acid-base disturbance and 24(88.9%) died.Whereas in the control group only 83 patients(26.2%) were recognized as simple and dual acid-base balance disorder,and 18(21.7%) died.There was higher incidence of acid-base balance disorder and mortality rate in HE group than control one(P<0.001).Conclusion:Hyponatremia is valuable to judge HE patients' prognosis.The key parameters in the judgment and evaluation on acid-base balance disorder among HE patients are the change of pH values and serum electrolyte values.When pH value ≤ 7.30 or > 7.55,it generally suggests a poor prognosis. | Ren Chengshan Wang Lei Zhao Xiaoyan Yang Shiming Zhang Yanqi Wang Xiwen Bo Jianying Zhang Pengbin Guo Hong Ling Xianlong Li Yihui Da Siping Xie Xia Ren Wei Li Chunhua Qian Guisheng | 2012 | Journal of Medical Colleges of PLA(China)2012,27,3: | 3 |
| 17 | The measurement error analysis when a pitot probe is used in supersonic air flow显示文摘Pitot probes enable a simple and convenient way of measuring mean velocity in air flow.The contrastive numerical simulation between free supersonic airflow and pitot tube at different positions in supersonic air flow was performed using Navier-Stokes equations,the ENN scheme with time-dependent boundary conditions (TDBC) and the Spalart-Allmaras turbulence model.The physical experimental results including pitot pressure and shadowgraph are also presented.Numerical results coincide with the experimental data.The flow characteristics of the pitot probe on the supersonic flow structure show that the measurement gives actually the total pressure behind the detached shock wave by using the pitot probe to measure the total pressure.The measurement result of the distribution of the total pressure can still represent the real free jet flow.The similar features of the intersection and reflection of shock waves can be identified.The difference between the measurement results and the actual ones is smaller than 10%.When the pitot probe is used to measure the region of L=0-4D,the measurement is smaller than the real one due to the increase of the shock wave strength.The difference becomes larger where the waves intersect.If the pitot probe is put at L=8D-10D,where the flow changes from supersonic to subsonic,the addition of the pitot probe turns the original supersonic flow region subsonic and causes bigger measurement errors. | ZHANG XiWen HAO PengFei YAO ZhaoHui | 2011 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2011,54,4: | 3 |
| 18 | Lodging Resistance Related to Root Traits for Mechanized Wet-Seeding of Two Super Rice Cultivars显示文摘Mechanical hill wet-seeded rice machine is beneficial for establishing and growing uniform rows of seedlings.However,there is limited knowledge regarding the effects of the establishment of furrows on growth,lodging and yield,and their relationships with root traits.In this study,field experiments were conducted during 2012 and 2013 using two super rice varieties(hybrid rice Peizataifeng and inbred rice Yuxiangyouzhan)under three furrow establishment treatments(T1,both water and seed furrows were established by the machine;T2,only seed furrows were established by the machine;and T3,neither water nor seed furrows were established by the machine).Lodging index,lodging-related traits,grain yield,above-ground dry weight and root traits were measured.The results showed that the lodging index was significantly affected by the treatments with furrows(T1 and T2).The strongest lodging resistance was detected in the mechanical hill wet-seeded rice with furrow treatment(T1)in both 2012 and 2013.Lodging resistance was strongly related to the breaking resistance.No significant difference was found in grain yield or dry weight of the mechanical hill wet-seeded rice.Therefore,the mechanical hill wet-seeded rice with furrow treatment increased rice lodging resistance,which was related to root traits. | ZHANG Minghua MO Zhaowen LIAO Juan PAN Shenggang CHEN Xiongfei ZHENG Le LUO Xiwen WANG Zaiman | 2021 | Rice science2021,28,2: | 3 |
| 19 | Extraterrestrial artificial photosynthetic materials for in-situ resource utilization显示文摘Aerospace milestones in human history,including returning to the moon and manned Martian missions,have been implemented in recent years.Space exploration has become one of the global common goals,and to ensure the survival and development of human beings in the extraterrestrial extreme environment has been becoming the basic ability and technology of manned space exploration.For the purpose of fulfilling the goal of extraterrestrial survival,researchers in Nanjing University and the China Academy of Space Technology proposed extraterrestrial artificial photosynthesis(EAP)technology.By simulating the natural photosynthesis of green plants on the Earth,EAP converts CO_(2)/H_(2)O into fuel and O_(2)in an in-situ,accelerated and controllable manner by using waste CO_(2)in the confined space of spacecraft,or abundant CO_(2)resources in extraterrestrial celestial environments,e.g.Mars.Thus,the material loading of manned spacecraft can be greatly reduced to support affordable and sustainable deep space exploration.In this paper,EAP technology is compared with existing methods of converting CO_(2)/H_(2)O into fuel and O_(2)in the aerospace field,especially the Sabatier method and Bosch reduction method.The research progress of possible EAP materials for in-situ utilization of extraterrestrial resources are also discussed in depth.Finally,this review lists the challenges that the EAP process may encounter,which need to be focused on for future implementation and application.We expect to deepen the understanding of artificial photosynthetic materials and technologies,and aim to strongly support the development of manned spaceflight. | Liuqing Yang Ce Zhang Xiwen Yu Yingfang Yao Zhaosheng Li Congping Wu Wei Yao Zhigang Zou | 2021 | National Science Review2021,8,8: | 3 |
| 20 | Recent progress in fluorinated electrolytes for improving the performance of Li–S batteries显示文摘Lithium–sulfur(Li–S) batteries represent a 'beyond Li-ion' technology with low cost and high theoretical energy density and should fulfill the ever-growing requirements of electric vehicles and stationary energy storage systems. However, the sulfur-based conversion reaction in conventional liquid electrolytes results in issues like the so-called shuttle effect of polysulfides and lithium dendrite growth, which deteriorate the electrochemical performance and safety of Li–S batteries. Optimization of conventional organic solvents(including ether and carbonate) by fluorination to form fluorinated electrolytes is a promising strategy for the practical application of Li–S batteries. The fluorinated electrolytes, owing to the high electronegativity of fluorine, possesses attractive physicochemical properties, including low melting point,high flash point, and low solubility of lithium polysulfide, and can form a compact and stable solid electrolyte interphase(SEI) with the lithium metal anode. Herein, we review recent advancements in the development of fluorinated electrolytes for use in Li–S batteries. The effect of solvent molecular structure on the performance of Li–S batteries and the formation mechanism of SEI on the cathode and anode sides are analyzed and discussed in detail.
