1The HuangZaoSi Maize Genome Provides Insights into Genomic Variation and Improvement History of Maize显示文摘Maize is a globally important crop that was a classic model plant for genetic studies. Here, we report a 2.2 Gb draft genome sequence of an elite maize line, HuangZaoSi (HZS). Hybrids bred from HZS-improved lines (HILs) are planted in more than 60% of maize fields in China. Proteome clustering of six completed sequeneed maize genomes show that 638 proteins fall into 264 HZS-specific gene families with the majority of contributions from tandem duplication events. Resequencing and comparative analysis of 40 HZSrelated lines reveals the breeding history of HILs. More than 60% of identified selective sweeps were clustered in identity.by.descent conserved regions, and yield-related genes/QTLs were enriched in HZS characteristic selected regions. Furthermore, we dem on strated that HZS-specific family genes were not uniformly distributed in the genome but enriched in improvement/function.related genomic regions. 2Low-cycle Fatigue Behavior of Ni-based Superalloy GH586 with Laser Shock Processing显示文摘Low-cycle fatigue behavior of Ni-based superalloy GH586 with laser shock processing(LSP) was investigated. The residual stress of the specimens treated with LSP was assessed by X-ray diffraction method. The microstructure and fracture morphology were characterized by using an optical microscope(OM), a scanning electron microscope(SEM), and a transmission electron microscope(TEM). The results indicated that the maximum residual compressive stress was at about 1 mm from the shocking spot center, where the residual compressive stress was slightly lower. High density tangling dislocations, dislocation walls, and dislocation cells in the microstructure of the specimens treated with LSP effectively prevented fatigue cracks propagation. The fatigue life was roughly twice as long as that of the specimens without LSP. The fatigue crack initiation(FCI) in specimens treated with LSP was observed in the lateral section and the subsurface simultaneously. The fatigue striation in the fracture treated with LSP was narrower than that in the untreated specimens. 6A joint call for actions to advance taxonomy in China显示文摘Taxonomy plays an important role in understanding the origin, evolution, and ecological functionality of biodiversity. There are large number of unknown species yet to be described by taxonomists, which together with their ecosystem services cannot be effectively protected prior to description. Despite this, taxonomy has been increasingly underrated insufficient funds and permanent positions to retain young talents. Further, the impact factordriven evaluation systems in China exacerbate this downward trend, so alternative evaluation metrics are urgently necessary. When the current generation of outstanding taxonomists retires,there will be too few remaining taxonomists left to train the next generation. 8Cyclic Oxidation Resistance of In718 Superalloy Treated by Laser Peening显示文摘The aim of this study was to improve the cyclic oxidation resistance of In718 superalloy by laser peening(LP). Specimens were treated by LP from one to three times, respectively. The cyclic oxidation tests at 900 ℃ for periods up to 2 h were conducted. Changes of the top surface morphology and microstructure were analyzed by scanning electron microscope(SEM), energy-dispersive spectra(EDS), transmission electron microscope(TEM) and X-ray diffraction technique(XRD), respectively. The weights were measured between the oxidation cycles to assess the oxidation of the specimens. The top surface microstructure after LP was characterized by highly tangled and dense dislocation arrangements and a high amount of twins. Protective oxidation layer was generated more quickly on the surface treated by LP. The average oxidation rate was about 50 % lower. A tiny homogeneous oxidation layer containing(Fe,Cr)2O3, NiCrO3 and Ni(Al,Cr)2O4 spinel was generated on the surface. The experimental results of cyclic oxidation tests show that specimens treated by LP have a better high temperature oxidation resistance, and the antistrip performance of the oxidation layer improves. 16Study on Laser Transformation Hardening of HT250 by High Speed Axis Flow CO_2 Laser显示文摘In this article, laser transformation hardening of HT250 material by high speed axis flow CO2 laser was investigated for first time in China. Appropriate laser hardening parameters, such as laser energy power P(W), laser scanning rate V(m/min),were optimized through a number of experiments. The effect of the mentioned parameters on the hardened zone, including its case depth, microhardness distributions etc., were analyzed. Through the factual experiments, it is proved that axial flow CO2 laser, which commonly outputs low mode laser beam, can also treat materials as long as the treating parameters used are rational. During the experiments, the surface qualities of some specimens treated by some parameters were found to be enhanced, which does not coincide with the former results. Furthermore in the article, the abnormal phenomenon observed in the experiments is discussed. 18Ultrabroad-band,white light emission from carbon dot-based materials with hybrid fluorescence/phosphorescence for single component white light-emitting diodes显示文摘Benefiting from the large Stokes shift between fluorescence and phosphorescence,fluorescence/phosphorescence dual-emitting carbon dots(CDs)have gradually entered at the stage of single-phase white light-emitting diodes(WLEDs)as‘green material'.However,most of the developed dual-emitting CDs have weak phosphorescence,short emission wavelength and narrow emission band,resulting in relatively bluish white light emission and low color rendering index(CRI).Herein,an ultrabroad-band fluorescence/phosphorescence dual-emitting CD-based material(UB-CD@BA)is prepared by thermal treatment of boric acid(BA)and CDs with large conjugated structure.The stable covalent bonding between CDs and BA,as well as three-dimensional spatial restriction effect of selfpolymerization BA molecules around CDs during long-term heating efficiently rigidified the single/triplet excited states of CDs from non-radiative deactivation,thus producing strong dual emissive materials with the high phosphorescence quantum yield of 21%.Remarkable,the prepared UB-CD@BA powders exhibit bright pure white light emission with Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage(CIE)coordinates of(0.32,0.33)and the highest reported full width at half maximum of 250 nm.Based on the unique characteristics of UB-CD@BA,it was used as a color conversion layer to prepare a WLED with CIE coordinates of(0.35,0.33)and the CRI value of 87.Yuchen Li Qijun Li Shuai Meng Yukun Qin Dengke Cheng Hailing Gu Zifei Wang Yunxia Ye Jing Tan 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,5:0

20Ultra-sensitive Dirac-point-based biosensing on terahertz metasurfaces comprising patterned graphene and perovskites显示文摘Biosensors are a focus of research on terahertz metasurfaces. However, reports of ultra-sensitive biosensors based on Dirac points are rare. Here, a new terahertz metasurface is proposed that consists of patterned graphene and perovskites. This serves as an ultra-sensitive Dirac-point-based biosensor for qualitative detection of sericin.Theoretically, sericin may make graphene n-doped and drive the Fermi level to shift from the valence band to the Dirac point, causing a dramatic decrease in conductivity. Correspondingly, the dielectric environment on the metasurface undergoes significant change, which is suited for ultra-sensitive biosensing. In addition, metal halide perovskites, which are up-to-date optoelectronic materials, have a positive effect on the phase during terahertz wave transmission. Thus, this sensor was used to successfully detect sericin with a detection limit of 780 pg/m L, achieved by changing the amplitude and phase. The detection limit of this sensor is as much as one order of magnitude lower than that of sensors in published works.
