The Genesis Mechanism of the Mantle Fluid Action and Evolution in the Ore-Forming Process: A Case Study of the Laowangzhai Gold Deposit in Yunnan, China显示文摘Based on petrological studies of the wall rocks, mineralizing rocks, ores and veins from the Laowangzhai gold deposit, it is discovered that along with the development of silication, carbonation and sulfidation, a kind of black opaque ultra-microlite material runs through the spaces between grains, fissures and cleavages. Under observations of the electron microprobe, scanning electronic microscopy and energy spectrum, this kind of ultra-microlite material is confirmed to consist of ultra microcrystalline quartz, silicate, sulfides and carbonates, as well as rutile, scheelite and specularite (magnetite), showing characters of liquation by the analyses of SEM and energy spectrum. The coexistence of immiscibility and precipitating co-crystallization strongly suggests that the mineralizing fluid changed from the melt to the hydrothermal fluid. Combined with the element geochemical researches, it is realized that the ultra-microlite aggregate is the direct relics of the mantle fluid behaving like a melt and supercritical fluid, which goes along with the mantle-derived magma and will escape from the magma body at a proper time. During the alteration process, the nature of the mantle fluid changed and it is mixed with the crustal fluid, which are favorable for mineralization in the Loawangzhai gold deposit.LIU Xianfan LI Chunhui LU Qiuxia DENG Biping SONG Xiangfeng ZHAO Fufeng CHU Yating XIAO Jixiong YI Liwen HUANG Yupeng 2012Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2012,86,3:13

Flexible and stable 3D lithium metal anodes based on self-standing MXene/COF frameworks for high-performance lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium metal(Li)is believed to be the ultimate anode for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)owing to the advantages of high theoretical capacity, the lowest electrochemical potential, and light weight.Nevertheless, issues such as uncontrollable growth of Li dendrites, large volume changes, high chemical reactivity, and unstable solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)hinder its rapid development and practical application.Herein a stable and dendrite-free Li-metal anode is obtained by designing a flexible and freestanding MXene/COF framework for metallic Li.COF-LZU1 microspheres are distributed among the MXene film framework.Lithiophilic COF-LZU1 microspheres as nucleation seeds can promote uniform Li nucleation by homogenizing the Li^(+)flux and lowering the nucleation barrier, finally resulting in dense and dendrite-free Li deposition.Under the regulation of the COF-LZU1 seeds, the Coulombic efficiency of the MXene/COF-LZU1 framework and electrochemical stability of corresponding symmetric cells are obviously enhanced.Li-S full cells with the modified Li-metal anode and sulfurized polyacrylonitrile(S@PAN)cathode also exhibited a superior electrochemical performance.Chuanliang Wei Yusheng Wang Yuchan Zhang Liwen Tan Yi Qian Yuan Tao Shenglin Xiong Jinkui Feng 2021Nano Research2021,14,10:5
Bioinspired Unidirectional Liquid Transport Micro-nano Structures:A Review显示文摘Unidirectional liquid transport without any need of external energy has drawn worldwide attention for its potential applications in various fields such as microfluidics, biomedicine and mechanical engineering. In nature, numerous creatures have evolved such extraordinary unidirectional liquid transport ability such as spider sik,Sarracenia's trichomes, and Nepenthes alata's peristome, etc. This review summarizes the current progresses of natural unidirectional liquid transport on 1-Dimensional(1D)linear structure and 2-Dimensional(2D)surface stucture. The driving force of unidirectional liquid transport which is determined by unique structure exist distinct differences in physics. The fundamental understanding of 1D and 2D unidirectionaliquid transport especially about hierarchical structural characteristics and their transport mechanism were concentrated, and various bioinspired fabrication methods are also introduced. The applications of bioinspired directional liquid transport are demonstrated especially in fields of microfluidies, biomedical devices and anti-icing surfaces. With newly developed smart materials, various liquid transport regulation strategies are also summarized for the control of transport speed, direction guiding, etc. Finally,we provide new insights and future perspectives of the directional transport materials.Liwen Zhang Guang Liu Huawei Chen Xiaolin Liu Tong Ran Yi Zhang Yang Gan Deyuan Zhang 2021Journal of Bionic Engineering2021,18,1:4
Time-domain terahertz optoacoustics: manipulable water sensing and dampening显示文摘Radiation at terahertz frequencies can be used to analyze the structural dynamics of water and biomolecules, but applying the technique to aqueous solutions and tissues remains challenging since terahertz radiation is strongly absorbed by water. While this absorption enables certain analyses, such as the structure of water and its interactions with biological solutes,it limits the thickness of samples that can be analyzed, and it drowns out weaker signals from biomolecules of interest. We present a method for analyzing water-rich samples via time-domain terahertz optoacoustics over a 104-fold thickness ranging from microns to centimeters. We demonstrate that adjusting the temperature to alter the terahertz optoacoustic(THz-OA)signal of water improves the sensitivity with which it can be analyzed and, conversely, can reduce or even“silence”its signal.Temperature-manipulated THz-OA signals of aqueous solutions allow detection of solutes such as ions with an order of magnitude greater sensitivity than terahertz time-domain spectroscopy, and potentially provide more characteristic parameters related to both terahertz absorption and ultrasonic propagation.Terahertz optoacoustics may be a powerful tool for spectroscopy and potential imaging of aqueous solutions and tissues to explore molecular interactions and biochemical processes.Jiao Li Yixin Yao Liwen Jiang Shuai Li Zhihao Yi Xieyu Chen Zhen Tian Weili Zhang 2021Advanced Photonics2021,3,2:4
Clinical significance of germline copy number variation in susceptibility of human diseases显示文摘Germline copy number variation(CNV) is considered to be an important form of human genetic polymorphisms. Previous studies have identified amounts of CNVs in human genome by advanced technologies, such as comparative genomic hybridization, single nucleotide genotyping, and high-throughput sequencing. CNV is speculated to be derived from multiple mechanisms, such as nonallelic homologous recombination(NAHR) and nonhomologous end-joining(NHEJ). CNVs cover a much larger genome scale than single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs), and may alter gene expression levels by means of gene dosage, gene fusion, gene disruption, and long-range regulation effects, thus affecting individual phenotypes and playing crucial roles in human pathogenesis. The number of studies linking CNVs with common complex diseases has increased dramatically in recent years. Here, we provide a comprehensive review of the current understanding of germline CNVs, and summarize the association of germline CNVs with the susceptibility to a wide variety of human diseases that were identified in recent years. We also propose potential issues that should be addressed in future studies.Liwen Hu Xinyue Yao Hairong Huang Zhong Guo Xi Cheng Yang Xu Yi Shen Biao Xu Demin Li 2018Journal of Genetics and Genomics2018,45,1:4
Atacamite and Nantokite in Kaerqueka Copper Deposit of Qimantag Area:Evidence for Cenozoic Climate Evolution of the Qaidam Basin显示文摘Using a mineralogy method to reflect climate evolution is a new approach to research Cenozoic environmental progression of the Qaidam Basin. In this paper, we present the chemical composition and crystallographic parameter of atacamite, nantokite, and tenorite in cryptocrystalline aggregates from the Kaerqueka copper deposit of Qimantag metallogenic belt by means of electron microprobe and in-situ X-ray diffraction analyses. Atacamite and nantokite occur in an intimate intergrowth as the secondary precipitation of chalcopyrite and bornite filling in the interstitial space of andradite in the Kaerqueka copper deposit, with an average composition of Cl: 12.38 wt.%, Cu: 63.76 wt.%, O: 21.46 wt.%. X-ray microdiffraction shows that the intergrowth contains nantokite with a cubic unit cell a=5.403(2) ? and atacamite with an orthorhombic unit cell a=6.030(3), b=6.883(2), c=9.114(1) ?. XRD quantitative calculation shows that the nanometric aggregate contains 36.07 wt.% tenorite, 18.41 wt.% atacamite, and 45.52 wt.% nantokite. The presence of nantokite and atacamite requires saline solutions for their formation and hyper-arid climate conditions for their preservation. Combined with the data of salt lakes and the pollen sequence of western China, we suggest that during the uplift of the Tibetan Plateau and the retreat of the Paratethys, saline water was forced to the surface through a basal fracture zone. In the hyper-arid climate of the Qaidam Basin, the recharge of groundwater by direct precipitation is negligible, and groundwater is derived from inflow from the salt lakes. Thus, atacamite is preserved. In addition, spertiniite in the edge and fractures of atacamite and nantokite may represent wetter climate after the formation of atacamite and nantokite.Liwen Yi Xiangping Gu Anhuai Lu Xiangyu Li Dexian Zhang Zhiling Wang Jianping Liu Shuai Li Zhengxiang Shu Cui Yu Hongyan Zuo Can Shen 2017Journal of Earth Science2017,28,3:3
Major and Trace Elements of Magnetite from the Qimantag Metallogenic Belt: Insights into Evolution of Ore–forming Fluids显示文摘Magnetite, as a genetic indicator of ores, has been studied in various deposits in the world. In this paper, we present textural and compositional data of magnetite from the Qimantag metallogenic belt of the Kunlun Orogenic Belt in China, to provide a better understanding of the formation mechanism and genesis of the metallogenic belt and to shed light on analytical protocols for the in situ chemical analysis of magnetite. Magnetite samples from various occurrences, including the ore–related granitoid pluton, mineralised endoskarn and vein–type iron ores hosted in marine carbonate intruded by the pluton, were examined using scanning electron microscopy and analysed for major and trace elements using electron microprobe and laser ablation–inductively coupled plasma–mass spectrometry. The field and microscope observation reveals that early–stage magnetite from the Hutouya and Kendekeke deposits occurs as massive or banded assemblages, whereas late–stage magnetite is disseminated or scattered in the ores. Early–stage magnetite contains high contents of Ti, V, Ga, Al and low in Mg and Mn. In contrast, late–stage magnetite is high in Mg, Mn and low in Ti, V, Ga, Al. Most magnetite grains from the Qimantag metallogenic belt deposits except the Kendekeke deposit plot in the ' Skarn ' field in the Ca+Al+Mn vs Ti+V diagram, far from typical magmatic Fe deposits such as the Damiao and Panzhihua deposits. According to the(Mg O+Mn O)–Ti O2–Al2O3 diagram, magnetite grains from the Kaerqueka and Galingge deposits and the No.7 ore body of the Hutouya deposit show typical characteristics of skarn magnetite, whereas magnetite grains from the Kendekeke deposit and the No.2 ore body of the Hutouya deposit show continuous elemental variation from magmatic type to skarn type. This compositional contrast indicates that chemical composition of magnetite is largely controlled by the compositions of magmatic fluids and host rocks of the ores that have reacted with the fluids. Moreover, a combination of petrography and magnetite geochemistry indicates that the formation of those ore deposits in the Qimantag metallogenic belt involved a magmatic–hydrothermal process.YI Liwen GU Xiangping LU Anhuai LIU Jianping LEI Hao WANG Zhiling CUI Yu ZUO Hongyan SHEN Can 2015Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,4:2
Screening, identification and antagonistic effect of antagonistic bacteria JTFM1001 against aflatoxin contamination in corn显示文摘Aflatoxin is a strong carcinogenic and toxic fungal toxin produced by Aspergillus flavus and other Aspergillus species, and can seriously threaten the health of consumers, thus becoming a global concern.Corn,as an important oil and economic crop,is highly susceptible contaminated by aflatoxin. In this study, antagonistic bacteria with strong inhibitory effect on aflatoxin were screened to provide support for the treatment aflatoxin contamination control in corn.Ten strains which have strong antagonistic effects against A.flavus were isolated from healthy corn from different corn producing areas in China.Among them, the antagonistic bacteria JTFM1001 through corn kernels in vivo and field experiment, the inhibition effect of aflatoxin contamination reached above 70%and 55%,respectively.And the strain was identified as Bacillus subtilis based on its morphological, physiological and biochemical characteristics and phylogenetic analysis of 16S rDNA.In addition, our data showed that it can colonize in the rhizosphere and survive for a long time, forming the dominant flora, with broad application prospect. Finally,we were surprised to find that the antibacterial metabolites secreted by the antagonistic bacteria was one of the mechanisms of its inhibition of A.flavus and aflatoxin. This will provide us with new ideas and perspectives on the effective prevention and control of aflatoxin contamination in corn and corn oil.Jing Zhang Yu Wang Zhaolin Du Dasong Lin Lili Huo Li Qin Wei Wang Liwen Qiang Yanpo Yao Yi An 2021Oil Crop Science2021,6,1:2
Re-Os Isotopic Age of Molybdenite of the Jingren Deposit and its Mineralogical Significance of Magnetite,Pyrite and Chalcopyrite显示文摘The Jingren deposit is part of the Qimantage metallogenic belt within the eastern Kunlun orogenic belt, the largest metallogenic belt in Qinghai Province, northwestern China.Exploration data show that the metal resources of the Jingren deposit are greater than 93000 t in a mining area of 76.15 km2,which indicates significant exploration potential in the near future.Three W–E-trending faults,F1-3,dominate the extension of the mineralization zone, which consists of chalcopyrite, pyrite, magnetite, galena, sphalerite, and molybdenite as well as bismuth-bearing minerals. The deposit contains a large amount of late Triassic intrusive rocks, however, previous research did not reach a consensus on the timing or the origin of the mineralization owing to a lack of geochronological data and poor exposure conditions. In the present study,Re-Os isotopic dating from six molybdenite samples collected from a borehole of the granodiorite in the Jingren deposit using negative thermal ionization mass spectrometry(NTIMS)showed 187 Re and 187 Os concentrations of 0.26–4.40 ppm and 1.03–16.46 ppb, respectively, with an initial 187 Os/188 Os value of 0.06±0.19.This proves that the Jingren deposit has a metallogenic age of(225±4)Ma and is the product of united mineralization of the Qimantage metallogenic belt and that the Jingren deposit might actually be an Indosinian metallogeny. In addition, the Re content of these samples,at 0.42 ppm to 7.00 ppm shows that the mineralization was derived mainly from a crustal source.Furthermore, electron probe microanalysis(EPMA)conducted on chalcopyrite obtained from 22 metallic mineral samples revealed(Fe+Cu)/S ratios of 1.801–1.947 with an average of 1.852,which is lower than the ideal value(1.875).Besides,the main ore body formed in a relatively higher temperature environment than the surrounding rocks in the Jingren deposit. These data indicate that the Jingren deposit formed in a metallogenic environment at lower temperature. Moreover, according to the TiO_(2)-Al_(2)O_(3)-(MgO+MnO)and TiO_(2)-Al_(2)O_(3)-MgO genetic classification diagram for magnetite, the Jingren deposit most likely belongs to the skarn family. In addition, the Co-Ni-As genetic classification diagram of the pyrite indicates sedimentary and skarn genetic characteristics.CAO Li YI Liwen DAI Wei XIE Binggeng LI Xiaoqing LU Anhuai GU Xiangping 2021Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2021,95,4:1

Clinical characteristics and vaccine effectiveness against SARS-CoV-2 Omicron subvariant BA.2 in the children显示文摘Dear Editor,The Omicron variant of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)has rapidly replaced the Delta variant as a dominating SARS-CoV-2 variant because of natural selection, which favors the variant with higher infectivity and stronger vaccine breakthrough ability.1 Among three lineages BA.1(B.1.1.529.1),BA.2(B.1.1.529.2),and BA.3(B.1.1.529.3)of Omicron,BA.2 is rising rapidly worldwide since January 2022 and become a new dominating“variant of concern”in China.2 With the current surge in Omicron in China, both the absolute number of children hospitalized with COVID-19 and the percentage of total COVID-19 hospitalizations have been boosting recently.Understanding the clinical characteristics of SARS-CoV-2 Omicron subvariant BA.2 in children and the protective effect of vaccines is of great help for epidemic prevention strategies. However,so far no sufficient experimental data have been reported about infectivity, disease severity, vaccine breakthrough capability, and antibody resistance from pediatric BA.2.Xiaohe Li Liwen Wu Youzhi Qu Mengli Cao Jiaqi Feng Hua Huang Yi Liu Hongzhou Lu Quanying Liu Yingxia Liu 2022Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,7:0
Focal Mechanism of the Xianyou Earthquake Sequence,Fujian,China显示文摘1,209 earthquakes occurred in Xianyou,Fujian from August 4,2010 to October 4,2013.The largest earthquake was M L5. 0 on September 4,2013. In order to study the Xianyou earthquake sequence and understand the causative structure and stress field of Xianyou, the focal mechanism solutions of six earthquakes( M L> 3. 5) in the Xianyou earthquake sequence are calculated using the broadband digital data of the Fujian Seismic Network with the seismic moment tensor inverse method. The results show that the focal faults of the six earthquakes are similar, which are all strike-slip faults striking to the northwest with high dip angles. The direction of the principal compressive stress axes is near SN,which is different from the stress field of Fujian region. The Xianyou earthquake sequence may have been induced by the stress adjustment after the impoundment of Jinzhong reservoir.Qiu Yi Li Jun Kang Lanchi Yuan Liwen 2014Earthquake Research in China2014,28,4:0
HTPdb and HTPtools:Exploiting maize haplotypetag polymorphisms for germplasm resource analyses and genomics-informed breeding显示文摘Along with rapid advances in high-throughput-sequencing technology, the development and application of molecular markers has been critical for the progress that has been made in crop breeding and genetic research.Desirable molecular markers should be able to rapidly genotype tens of thousands of breeding accessions with tens to hundreds of markers. In this study,we developed a multiplex molecular marker, the haplotype-tag polymorphism(HTP),that integrates Maize6H-60K array data from 3,587 maize inbred lines with 6,375 blocks from the recombination block map. After applying strict filtering criteria,we obtained 6,163 highly polymorphic HTPs,which were evenly distributed in the genome.Furthermore,we developed a genome-wide HTP analysis toolkit,HTPtools, which we used to establish an HTP database(HTPdb)covering the whole genomes of 3,587 maize inbred lines commonly used in breeding.A total of 172,921 non-redundant HTP allelic variations were obtained.Three major HTPtools modules combine seven algorithms(e.g.,chain Bayes probability and the heterotic-pattern prediction algorithm)and a new plotting engine named“BCplot”that enables rapid visualization of the background information of multiple backcross groups.HTPtools was designed for big-data analyses such as complex pedigree reconstruction and maize heterotic-pattern prediction. The HTP-based analytical strategy and the toolkit developed in this study are applicable for high-throughput genotyping and for genetic mapping, germplasm resource analyses, and genomics-informed breeding in maize.Yikun Zhao Hongli Tian Chunhui Li Hongmei Yi Yunlong Zhang Xiaohui Li Han Zhao Yongxue Huo Rui Wang Dingming Kang Yuncai Lu Zhihao Liu Ziyue Liang Liwen Xu Yang Yang Ling Zhou Tianyu Wang Jiuran Zhao Fengge Wang 2022Plant Communications2022,3,4:0

High-performance piezoresistive sensors based on transfer-free large-area PdSe2 films for human motion and health care monitoring显示文摘Two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs)are needed in highperformance piezoresistive sensors due to their strong strain-induced bandgap modification and thereby large gauge factors. However, integrating a conventional high-temperature chemical vapor deposition(CVD)-grown TMD with a flexible substrate necessitates a transfer process that inevitably degrades the sensing properties of the TMDs and increases the overall fabrication complexity. We present a high-performance piezoresistive strain sensor that employs largearea PdSe2 films grown directly on polyimide(PI)substrates via plasma-assisted selenization of a sputtered Pd film. The reliable strain transfer from the substrate to the PdSe2 film ensures an outstanding strain-sensing capability of the sensor.Specifically, the sensors have a gauge factor of up to315±2.1,a response time under 25 ms,a detection limit of 8×10^(-6),and an exceptional stability of over 104 loading–unloading cycles.By attaching the sensors to the skin surface,we demonstrate their application for measuring physiological parameters in health care monitoring, including motion, voice, and arterial pulse vibration.Furthermore, using the PdSe2 film sensor combined with deep learning technology,we achieved intelligent recognition of artery temperature from arterial pulse signals with only a 2%difference between predicted and actual temperatures. The excellent sensing performance, together with the advantages of low-temperature fabrication and simple device structure, make the PdSe2 film sensor promising for wearable electronics and health care sensing systems.Rui Zhang Jie Lin Tao He Jiafang Wu Zhuojun Yang Liwen Liu Shaofeng Wen Yimin Gong Haifeng Lv Jing Zhang Yi Yin Fangjia Li Changyong Lan Chun Li 2024InfoMat2024,6,1:0
Applications of bioinspired approaches and challenges inmedical devices显示文摘Urgent requirements of medical devices Precision medicine has gradually become a development strategy in many countries and attracted worldwide attention in recent years due to the increasing concerns in public health.Although the definition of precision medicine has less or more difference from the viewpoints of different fields, the demands on the properties of medical devices or medical materials involving biocompatibility and anti-thrombosis are gradually growingmuch more diverse and much more urgent than ever[1].This trend brings up many new research topics about materials, mechanical systems and sensors to develop advanced medical devices. How to design and on-demand fabricate the bio-materials,bio-interface and bio-systems to meet the urgent demands of medical devices is still a challenge for us.Huawei Chen Yi Zhang Liwen Zhang Xilun Ding Deyuan Zhang 2021Bio-Design and Manufacturing2021,4,1:0
Engineering Photocleavable Protein-decorated Hydrogels to Regulate Cell Adhesion and Migration显示文摘Cell adhesion and migration play essential roles in tissue development and maintenance, and abnormal cell migration is involved in life-threatening diseases, including vascular disease, tumor formation, and metastasis. The advances in hydrogel-based 3D cell culture development facilitated the investigation of cell motility behavior, including cell-cell and cell-matrix adhesion and cell migration in a microenvironment more related to in vivo situations. Establishing advanced methods for these in vitro studies is thus necessary. Photo-sensitive proteins show advantages in remote and non-invasive regulation of hydrogels’ properties, and thus are of great potential in regulating 3D cultured cells’ behavior. In the presented study, we engineered photocleavable protein(PhoCl)-decorated hydrogels to regulate cell adhesion and migration of MDA-MB-231. The integrin-binding motif RGD was fused to the PhoCl and was decorated on the hydrogel. After being exposed to light at 405 nm, the PhoCl was cleaved and the RGD motif was released, resulting in detachment of the binding cells. The regulatory effect of the light illumination showed a time-dependent and cell density-dependent manner. Furthermore, the elimination of RGD by patterned light exposure completely suspended the cell migration to the corresponding region, suggesting a controllable regulation of the cell migration direction.LI Tianyi HUANG Yaying LU Chenjing GU Liwen CAO Yi YIN Sheng 2022Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2022,38,6:0
