1Assessment of potential soybean cadmium excluder cultivars at different concentrations of Cd in soils显示文摘The selection of cadmium-excluding cultivars has been used to minimize the transfer of cadmium into the human food chain. In this experiment, five Chinese soybean plants were grown in three soils with different concentrations of Cd(0.15, 0.75 and 1.12 mg/kg).Variations in uptake, enrichment, and translocation of Cd among these soybean cultivars were studied. The results indicated that the concentration of Cd in seeds that grew at1.12 mg/kg Cd in soils exceeded the permitted maximum levels in soybeans. Therefore, our results indicated that even some soybean cultivars grown on soils with permitted levels of Cd might accumulate higher concentrations of Cd in seeds that are hazardous to human health. The seeds of these five cultivars were further assessed for interactions between Cd and other mineral nutrient elements such as Ca, Cu, Fe, Mg, Mn and Zn. High Cd concentration in soil was found to inhibit the uptake of Mn. Furthermore, Fe and Zn accumulations were found to be enhanced in the seeds of all of the five soybean cultivars in response to high Cd concentration. 9Reactive template-derived interfacial engineering of CoP/CoO heterostructured porous nanotubes towards superior electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution显示文摘The development of economical,efficient,and robust electrocatalysts toward the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)is highly imperative for the rapid advancement of renewable H2 energy-associated technologies.Extensive utilization of the heterointerface effect can endow the catalysts with remarkably boosted electrocatalytic performance due to the modified electronic state of active sites.Herein,we demonstrate deliberate crafting of CoP/CoO heterojunction porous nanotubes(abbreviated as CoP/CoO PNTs hereafter)using a self-sacrificial template-engaged strategy.Precise control over the Kirkendall diffusion process of the presynthesized cobalt–aspartic acid complex nanowires is indispensable for the formation of CoP/CoO heterostructures.The topochemical transformation strategy of the reactive templates enables uniform and maximized construction of CoP/CoO heterojunctions throughout all the porous nanotubes.The establishment of CoP/CoO heterojunctions could considerably modify the electronic configuration of the active sites and also improve the electric conductivity,which endows the resultant CoP/CoO PNTs with enhanced intrinsic activity.Simultaneously,the hollow and porous nanotube architectures allow sufficient accessibility of exterior/interior surfaces and molecular permeability,drastically promoting the reaction kinetics.Consequently,when used as HER electrocatalysts,the well-designed CoP/CoO PNTs show Pt-like activity,with an overpotential of only 61 mV at 10mA cm^(−2) and excellent stability in 1.0M KOH medium,exceeding those of the vast majority of the previously reported nonprecious candidates.Density functional theory calculations further substantiate that the construction of CoP/CoO heterojunctions enables optimization of the Gibbs free energies for water adsorption and H adsorption,resulting in boosted HER intrinsic activity.The present study may provide in-depth insights into the fundamental mechanisms of heterojunction-induced electronic regulation,which may pave the way for the rational design of advanced Earth-abundant electrocatalysts in the future.Qixing Zhou Ruoxu Sun Yiping Ren Run Tian Jun Yang Huan Pang Kai Huang Xinlong Tian Lin Xu Yawen Tang 2023Carbon Energy2023,5,1:1

20Heat Storage/Heat Release of Phase-Change Filling Body with Casing Heat Exchanger for Extracting Geothermal Energy显示文摘Arranging heat exchanger in filling body to extract geothermal energy is an effective way to alleviate the problems of high ground pressure and high ground temperature in deep resource exploitation.Filling body with casing heat exchanger was acted as research object,encapsulating phase change materials(PCMs)in annular space.During heat storage and heat release process,the effects of different PCMs on temperature distribution,phase-change process and heat transfer performance were studied.The result indicates:During heat storage process,the temperature increases rapidly and the melting process is accelerated for the position closer surrounding rock.CaCl_(2)·6H_(2)O/EG can make filling body complete heat storage process in the shortest time because of its good thermal diffusivity.The heat storage capacity of PCMs backfill is significantly higher than that of ordinary backfill;it increases by 36.6%-67.3%at heat storage of 10 h.During heat release process,the closer to the heat exchange tube,the greater the temperature drop in filling body.The maximum value of heat release rate and heat release capacity is in CaCl_(2)·6H_(2)O/EG backfill,it can release 116.4%more heat than RT35backfill after heat release of 12 h,the maximum value of effectiveness and its heat transfer rate also is in CaCl_(2)·6H_(2)O/EG backfill.This paper provides the basic data for the selection of PCMs in phase-change thermal storage filling body.ZHANG Xiaoyan XU Muyan LIU Lang YANG Qixing KI-IL Song 2023Journal of Thermal Science2023,32,3:0
