1新疆望峰金矿成矿流体研究及其成因意义显示文摘新疆望峰金矿,产于中天山结晶基底中的韧性剪切带内。围岩蚀变和流体包裹体研究表明,成矿过程包括了3个阶段,从早到晚有石英黄铁矿阶段、多金属硫化物阶段和石英碳酸盐阶段,温度分别集中在360~520℃、240~360℃和120~240℃;矿化以第Ⅱ阶段为主。成矿流体的δ18O值变化于1.15‰~2.70‰之间,属于变质热液与大气降水热液的混合流体。包裹体成分表明成矿流体来源较浅,但有利于金矿化;CO2/H2O比值多大于0.026,也有利于成矿。而包裹体捕获压力表明成矿作用发生在5.6~1.2km深度范围,主要发生在1.9km左右;矿化过程与地壳抬升伸展的过程一致,自然亦与碰撞造山体制的矿化规律一致。因此,古生代末期的碰撞造山作用导致了望峰金矿的形成,冰达坂断裂两侧是寻找望峰式金矿的有利地带。石英红外光谱分析表明,CO2光密度(D2)及其与H2O光密度(D1)的比值(D2/D1)普遍较高,指示矿化较强;D2>0.55和D2/D10.26是该区富金样品的标志。Chen Yanjing 1) Li Xin 1) Jing Jun 2) Gao Xiuli 1) Chen Huayong 1) Wu Xidan 2) Wu Dehua 2) ( 1) Department of Geology, Peking University 2)Team 15 of Gold Headquarters, MMIC, Urumqi ) 1998地球学报(中国地质科学院院报)1998,19,2:18
2Blocking FSH inhibits hepatic cholesterol biosynthesis and reduces serum cholesterol显示文摘Menopause is associated with dyslipidemia and an increased risk of cardio-cerebrovascular disease.The classic view assumes that the underlying mechanism of dyslipidemia is attributed to an insufficiency of estrogen.In addition to a decrease in estrogen, circulating follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH)levels become elevated at menopause.In this study,we find that blocking FSH reduces serum cholesterol via inhibiting hepatic cholesterol biosynthesis.First,epidemiological results show that the serum FSH levels are positively correlated with the serum total cholesterol levels,even after adjustment by considering the effects of serum estrogen,in addition,the prevalence of hypercholesterolemia is significantly higher in peri-menopausal women than that in premenopausal women.Furthermore,we generated a mouse model of FSH elevation by intraperitoneally injecting exogenous FSH into ovariectomized (OVX)mice,in which a normal level of estrogen (E2)was maintained by exogenous supplementation. Consistently,the results indicate that FSH,independent of estrogen,increases the serum cholesterol level in this mouse model. 4Tetrahedral Framework Nucleic Acid-Based Delivery of Resveratrol Alleviates Insulin Resistance:From Innate to Adaptive Immunity显示文摘Obesity-induced insulin resistance is the hallmark of metabolic syndrome,and chronic,low-grade tissue inflammation links obesity to insulin resistance through the activation of tissue-infiltrating immune cells.Current therapeutic approaches lack efficacy and immunomodulatory capacity.Thus,a new therapeutic approach is needed to prevent chronic inflammation and alleviate insulin resistance.Here,we synthesized a tetrahedral framework nucleic acid(tFNA)nanoparticle that carried resveratrol(RSV)to inhibit tissue inflammation and improve insulin sensitivity in obese mice.The prepared nanoparticles,namely tFNAs-RSV,possessed the characteristics of simple synthesis,stable properties,good water solubility,and superior biocompatibility.The tFNA-based delivery ameliorated the lability of RSV and enhanced its therapeutic efficacy.In high-fat diet(HFD)-fed mice,the administration of tFNAs-RSV ameliorated insulin resistance by alleviating inflammation status.tFNAs-RSV could reverse M1 phenotype macrophages in tissues to M2 phenotype macrophages.As for adaptive immunity,the prepared nanoparticles could repress the activation of Th1 and Th17 and promote Th2 and Treg,leading to the alleviation of insulin resistance.Furthermore,this study is the first to demonstrate that tFNAs,a nucleic acid material,possess immunomodulatory capacity.Collectively,our findings demonstrate that tFNAs-RSV alleviate insulin resistance and ameliorate inflammation in HFD mice,suggesting that nucleic acid materials or nucleic acid-based delivery systems may be a potential agent for the treatment of insulin resistance and obesity-related metabolic diseases.Yanjing Li Shaojingya Gao Sirong Shi Dexuan Xiao Shuanglin Peng Yang Gao Ying Zhu Yunfeng Lin 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,6:4
5Portopulmonary hypertension: Current developments and future perspectives显示文摘Portopulmonary hypertension(POPH)is a severe pulmonary vascular disease secondary to portal hy-pertension and a subset of Group 1 pulmonary hypertension(PH).The pathological changes of POPH are indistinguishable from other PH phenotypes,including endothelial dysfunction,pulmonary vasocon-striction,and vascular remodeling.These changes cause a progressive increase in pulmonary vascular resistance and afterload of the right ventricle,eventually leading to severe right heart failure.The prognosis of POPH is extremely poor among untreated patients.POPH is associated with a high risk of death after liver transplantation(LT),and severe POPH is considered an absolute contraindication for LT.However,pulmonary arterial hypertension(PAH)-targeted therapies are administered to patients with POPH,and aggressive drug treatment significantly optimizes pulmonary hemodynamics and reduces the risk of death.Therefore,early diagnosis,aggressive PAH-targeted therapies,and proper selection of liver transplant candidates are vital to reduce the risk of surgery and improve clinical outcomes.This article aims to review the results of previous studies and describe biological mechanisms,epidemiology,po-tential risk factors,and diagnostic approaches of POPH.Moreover,we introduce recent therapeutic in-terventions for the early diagnosis of POPH and efficient clinical management decisions.Huawei Xu Baoquan Cheng Renren Wang Mengmeng Ding Yanjing Gao 2022Liver Research2022,6,1:2
6Initiating,growing and cracking of hydrogen blisters显示文摘The growing process of a hydrogen blister in a wheel steel was observed in situ with an optical microscope, and the fracture surfaces formed from broken blisters on a wheel steel and bulk metallic glass were investigated. The initiating, growing, cracking and breaking of hydrogen blis-ters are as follows. Supersaturated vacancies can increase greatly during charging and gather together into a vacancy cluster (small cavity). Hydrogen atoms become hydrogen molecules in the vacancy cluster and hydrogen molecules can stabilize the vacancy cluster. The small cavity becomes the nucleus of hydrogen blister. The blister will grow with enter-ing of vacancies and hydrogen atoms. With increasing hy-drogen pressure, plastic deformation occurs first, the hydro-gen blister near the surface extrudes, and then cracks initiate along the wall of the blister with further increasing hydrogen pressure. 8Data augmentation in microscopic images for material data mining显示文摘Recent progress in material data mining has been driven by high-capacity models trained on large datasets.However,collecting experimental data(real data)has been extremely costly owing to the amount of human effort and expertise required.Here,we develop a novel transfer learning strategy to address problems of small or insufficient data.This strategy realizes the fusion of real and simulated data and the augmentation of training data in a data mining procedure.For a specific task of grain instance image segmentation,this strategy aims to generate synthetic data by fusing the images obtained from simulating the physical mechanism of grain formation and the“image style”information in real images.The results show that the model trained with the acquired synthetic data and only 35%of the real data can already achieve competitive segmentation performance of a model trained on all of the real data.Because the time required to perform grain simulation and to generate synthetic data are almost negligible as compared to the effort for obtaining real data,our proposed strategy is able to exploit the strong prediction power of deep learning without significantly increasing the experimental burden of training data preparation.Boyuan Ma Xiaoyan Wei Chuni Liu Xiaojuan Ban Haiyou Huang Hao Wang Weihua Xue Stephen Wu Mingfei Gao Qing Shen Michele Mukeshimana Adnan Omer Abuassba Haokai Shen Yanjing Su 2020npj Computational Materials2020,,1:1
9Investigation on Synthesis of Sintered Mullite from Low-medium Grade Kyanite显示文摘Sintered mullite is prepared by kyanite powder with Al_2O_3 content of 45% and 50%(Yinshan, Nanyang City, China),and the industrial alumina is added to control the chemical composition. The different series of sintered mullite according to the Al_2O_3 content(45%-70%) are designed. The raw materials are mixed and compacted, and then sintered at different temperatures. Physical properties, phase composition, microstructure and refractoriness under load of the synthesized samples are characterized by physical property test, XRD, SEM and RUL test, in order to confirm the quality of sintering and the relationship between temperature and mullitization reaction. 11Effects of proton pump inhibitor on gastroesophageal varices in patients with cirrhosis:A randomized controlled trial from China显示文摘Aims:Proton pump inhibitors(PPI)are widely used for gastroesophageal varices in patients with cirrhosis after endoscopic therapy,although the effect of PPI on these patients remains controversial.This study aimed to evaluate the effect of PPI on gastroesophageal varices in patients with cirrhosis after endoscopic therapy,including variceal bleeding and adverse events.Methods:Cirrhotic patients with endoscopically confirmed gastroesophageal varices were enrolled in this study between May 2017 and June 2019.Eligible patients were randomized into two groups:one group received PPI for 14 days and the other group did not receive PPI treatment(n=53 in each group).All patients were followed for 8 weeks.Results:During the follow‐up period,three patients(5.66%)in the PPI group experienced variceal bleeding on days 9,16,and 25 after endoscopic therapy,including two patients with acute bleeding and one with primary prophylaxis.In the non‐PPI group,three patients(5.66%)experienced variceal bleeding on days 7,42,and 56 after endoscopic therapy,including one patient with acute bleeding and two with secondary prophylaxis(p=0.990).The incidence of adverse events was similar between the two groups(37.74%vs.28.30%,p=0.30).Conclusions:PPI did not appear to reduce variceal bleeding and adverse events in patients with cirrhosis after endoscopic therapy.Xiaoning Chen Tao Zhou Ting Zhou Yueyue Li Xin Sun Baoquan Cheng Ning Zhong Xuefeng Lu Yanjing Gao 2023Portal Hypertension & Cirrhosis2023,2,1:0
12Influence of Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease on the Occurrence and Severity of Chronic Kidney Disease显示文摘Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is reported to affect 20-30%of adults and is accompanied by various metabolic comorbidities,where the economic and clinical burden of NAFLD is attributed to the progression of liver disease as well as the presence of extrahepatic diseases.Chronic kidney disease(CKD),which has a high incidence rate,high morbidity and mortality rates,and high medical costs,has been linked to NAFLD.CKD is associated with some metabolismrelated risk factors that overlap with metabolic comorbidities of NAFLD.Therefore,to investigate the potential factors that influence CKD occurrence,the association between NAFLD and CKD should be clarified.Some studies have confirmed that NAFLD influences the occurrence and severity of CKD,whereas some studies have indicated that there is no correlation.In this review,the results of a few studies have been discussed,the potential risk factors for CKD in NAFLD are explored,and the respective biological mechanisms are elaborated to help clinicians identify CKD in patients much earlier than it is diagnosed now and thus help in reducing the incidence of liver and kidney transplants.Ziwen Tao Yueyue Li Baoquan Cheng Tao Zhou Yanjing Gao 2022Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2022,10,1:0

14Evaluation of sweet spots and horizontal-well-design technology for shale gas in the basin-margin transition zone of southeastern Chongqing,SW China显示文摘The shale gas accumulation conditions in the basin-margin transition zone of southeastern Chongqing in SW China are complex.In order to improve single-well productivity in this area,the geologic characteristics,major factors controlling the occurrence of sweet spots,and drilling/fracturing optimization were investigated in this study.The sweet spot evaluation system and criteria were established,and the horizontal-well-design technology was developed.The following three conclusions were drawn.First,the accumulation and high-productivity-oriented approaches for sweet spot evaluation are proposed and the criteria are established based on screened key indicators.Second,the horizontal well was designed based on:(1)the“six-map”method,to identify both the geology and engineering sweet spots for well locations;and(2)seismic attributes,to predict the development of fractures and cavities,and thus,avoid mud loss and improve the drilling efficiency.The target window,well-azimuth optimization,and the curvature were forecasted to improve the fracturing performances.Third,the Pingqiao anticline,Dongsheng anticline,Jinfo slope,and Wulong syncline were selected as Type I sweet spots.Currently,shale gas has been successfully discovered in the basin-margin transition zone and is being commercially developed.Xipeng He Peixian Zhang Guisong He Yuqiao Gao Ming Liu Yong Zhang Dazhi Fang Yanjing Li 2020Energy Geoscience2020,1,3:0
15A patient with dyskeratosis congenita and portal hypertension显示文摘Portal hypertension(PH)refers to a collection of syndromes characterized by an increase in pressure within the portal venous system and/or elevated portal venous blood flow,most commonly caused by cirrhosis.This condition is frequently associated with viral hepatitis and chronic alcohol abuse,and its complications,such as ascites,hepatic encephalopathy,and esophageal varices,have a considerable impact on mortality.Dyskeratosis congenita(DC)is a rare genetic disorder that affects multiple systems,most notably manifesting as dystrophy of the fingernails and toenails,skin pigmentation,and mucosal leukoplakia.While cirrhotic PH is an uncommon complication of DC,we present a case of a young patient who presented with PH and had no history of hepatitis or heavy alcohol use.The patient underwent splenectomy and devascularization to treat hypersplenism and esophagogastric varices caused by PH but developed portal vein thrombosis following the surgery.Given the patient's cutaneous manifestations and cirrhosis that could not be attributed to common causes,we continued to search for the underlying cause of PH until the diagnosis of DC was finally made.The patient was subsequently treated with carvedilol to prevent variceal rebleeding and showed no significant complications or bleeding during follow-up.Min Wei Yuanyuan Liu Jinhou Li Hongxia Wang Yanjing Gao 2023Portal Hypertension & Cirrhosis2023,2,2:0
16Prevalence and risk factors for minimal hepatic encephalopathy in cirrhotic patients with different etiologies显示文摘Aims:Minimal hepatic encephalopathy(MHE)significantly affects the prognosis of patients with cirrhosis.This study was performed to determine whether there is a difference in the prevalence of MHE among patients with cirrhosis of different etiologies and whether the etiology directly influences the occurrence of MHE.Methods:This multicenter,cross-sectional study enrolled 1879 patients with confirmed cirrhosis at 40 hospitals from October 25,2021,to January 10,2023(Trial registration:https://clinicaltrials.gov/[NCT05140837]).The patients'demographics,etiologies of cirrhosis,and laboratory test results were collected.The psychometric hepatic encephalopathy score(PHES)was determined in all patients to screen for MHE.Multivariate logistic analyses were performed to identify the risk factors for MHE.Results:In total,736 patients with cirrhosis were analyzed.The prevalence of MHE was 42.0%(n=309).The primary etiology among all patients was hepatitis B virus(HBV)-related cirrhosis(71.9%[529/736]).The prevalence of MHE was significantly higher in patients with alcoholic cirrhosis(57.1%[40/70])than in those with HBV-related cirrhosis(40.6%[215/529],p=0.009)or hepatitis C virus(HCV)-related cirrhosis(38.2%[26/68],p=0.026).Age(odds ratio[OR],1.042;95%confidence interval[CI],1.024-1.059;p<0.001),duration of education(OR,0.935;95%CI,0.899-0.971;p=0.001),etiology(OR,1.740;95%CI,1.028-2.945;p=0.039),and high MELD-Na scores(OR,1.038;95%CI,1.009-1.067;p=0.009)were independent risk factors for MHE.When patients with cirrhosis of different etiologies were analyzed separately,the results showed that age(OR,1.035;95%CI,1.014-1.057;p=0.001)and duration of education(OR,0.924;95%CI,0.883-0.966;p=0.001)were risk factors for MHE among patients with HBV-related cirrhosis,whereas age(OR,1.138;95%CI,1.033-1.254;p=0.009)and creatinine concentration(OR,16.487;95%CI,1.113-244.160;p=0.042)were risk factors for MHE in patients with HCV-related cirrhosis.No risk factors for MHE were found in patients with autoimmune cirrhosis.For patients with alcoholic cirrhosis,the platelet count(OR,1.014;95%CI,1.000-1.027;p=0.045)was a risk factor for MHE.The PHES subtest results were inconsistent among patients who had MHE with cirrhosis of different etiologies.Patients with HBV-related cirrhosis performed better on Number Connection Test B and the serial dotting test than those with alcoholic cirrhosis(p=0.007 and p<0.001),better on Number Connection Test B than those with HCV-related cirrhosis(p=0.020),and better on the line tracing test than those with autoimmune cirrhosis(p=0.037).Conclusion:The etiology of cirrhosis affected the prevalence of MHE and risk factors for MHE.The domains of major cognitive impairment varied among patients with cirrhosis of different etiologies.Further studies are required to verify these findings.Xiaoyan Li Shanghao Liu Huiling Xiang Qingge Zhang Ying Guo Hongmei Zu Jing Wang Jiaojian Lv Xiaoning Zhang Fanping Meng Jiahuan Li Jie Li Yangzhen Bianba Jia Shang Guo Zhang Fei Liu Zhaowei Tong Chuang Lei Wei Ye Qiaohua Yang Ningning Wang Ying Song Wei Fu Ziyue Li Yanjing Gao Yongping Zhang Jiafang Chen Caiyun Wu Qi Zheng Fang Wang Jiali Yu Lianjie Lin Chuanlong Yang Xiaoting Yang Xiaomin Ye Xiangmei Wang Xuelan Zhao Xiaolong Qi Fusheng Wang Junliang Fu 2023Portal Hypertension & Cirrhosis2023,2,4:0
17Stress corrosion cracking and its anisotropy of a PZT ferroelectric ceramics显示文摘Stress corrosion cracking (SCC) of a PZT ferroelectric ceramics in various media, such as moist at-mosphere, silicon oil, methanol, water and formamide, and its anisotropy have been investigated at constant load test using a single-edge notched tensile specimen. The results showed that SCC could occur in all media, and the threshold stress intensity factor of SCC in water and formamide, KISCC, revealed anisotropy. The KISCC for poling direction parallel to the crack plane, aISCC,Kwas greater than that perpendicular to the crack plane, bISCC,K similar to the anisotropy of fracture toughness KIC; however, the anisotropy factor of KISCC, which was abISCCISCC/KK=1.8 (in formamide) and 2.1 (in water), was larger than that of KIC, which is abICIC/KK=1.4. 18Effect of Andalusite Addition on Properties of Chrome-corundum Bricks显示文摘In order to improve the thermal shock resistance of chrome-corundum bricks,different amounts of andalusite were added to the formulation of chrome-corundum bricks to replace the equivalent white fused corundum with the same particle size.After mixing,shaping,drying and firing,the density,the cold strength,the cold wear resistance,the hot modulus of rupture and the thermal shock resistance were tested.XRD,SEM and elemental surface scanning were used to characterize the specimens.The results show that:(1)the volume expansion of andalusite mullitization reduces the apparent porosity of chrome-corundum bricks;(2)the density and the hardness of mullite are lower than those of corundum so the decrease of the corundum content in brick leads to the decrease of the bulk density,the strength and the cold wear resistance;(3)the cross-distributed columnar mullite in the matrix can effectively improve the hot modulus of rupture and the thermal shock resistance of the specimens;(4)considering comprehensively,the andalusite addition shall not exceed 18%.XIA Wenbin ZHAN Huasheng LI Jinyu LI Yanjing MA Shulong SU Yuzhu ZHANG Jili GAO Changhe 2020China's Refractories2020,29,2:0
19BMP7 expression in mammalian cortical radial glial cells increases the length of the neurogenic period显示文摘The seat of human intelligence is the human cerebral cortex,which is responsible for our exceptional cognitive abilities.Identifying principles that lead to the development of the large-sized human cerebral cortex will shed light on what makes the human brain and species so special.The remarkable increase in the number of human cortical pyramidal neurons and the size of the human cerebral cortex is mainly because human cortical radial glial cells,primary neural stem cells in the cortex,generate cortical pyramidal neurons for more than 130 days,whereas the same process takes only about 7 days in mice.The molecular mechanisms underlying this difference are largely unknown.Here,we found that bone morphogenic protein 7(BMP7)is expressed by increasing the number of corti-cal radial glial cells during mammalian evolution(mouse,ferret,monkey,and human).BMP7 expression in cortical radial glial cells promotes neurogenesis,inhibits gliogenesis,and thereby increases the length of the neurogenic period,whereas Sonic Hedgehog(SHH)signaling promotes cortical gliogenesis.We demonstrate that BMP7 sign-aling and SHH signaling mutually inhibit each other through regulation of GLI3 repressor formation.We propose that BMP7 drives the evolutionary expansion of the mammalian cortex by increasing the length of the neurogenic period.Zhenmeiyu Li Guoping Liu Lin Yang Mengge Sun Zhuangzhi Zhang Zhejun Xu Yanjing Gao Xin Jiang Zihao Su Xiaosu Li Zhengang Yang 2024Protein & Cell2024,15,1:0
20Strength Acquisition Mechanism of High Temperature Resistant Materials Prepared by Waste Architectural Ceramics显示文摘In order to realize the large-scale and high-value utilization of waste architectural ceramics,high-temperature resistant materials based on waste architectural ceramics were prepared with sodium silicate as the binder,clay/bauxite and metakaolin/bauxite as coating materials,and the cold strength obtaining mechanism was explored.The phase composition,the microstructure and the mechanical properties of the high temperature resistant materials based on waste architectural ceramics were tested and analyzed.The results showed that when the heat treatment temperature was between 110-1000℃,the strength of the samples mainly came from the physical adhesion of sodium silicate and fine powder.When the temperature rose to 1100℃,the strength of the sample was improved since the internal low-melting-point components melted and promoted sintering.The addition of clay and bauxite can effectively enhance the flexural strength of the samples when the heat treatment temperature is 1000℃.When the heat treatment temperature rises from 900 to 1000℃,the flexural strength of the samples will be enhanced owing to the formation of silica alumina spinel and mullite from metakaolin.HUANG Zhaohui SHI Tengteng LIU Yangai WU Xiaowen LIU Xianjie LIN Fankai LENG Gouqin ZHAN Huasheng LI Yanjing GAO Changhe 2022China's Refractories2022,31,1:0
