| 1 | A fundamental theorem for eco-environmental surface modelling and its applications显示文摘We propose a fundamental theorem for eco-environmental surface modelling(FTEEM) in order to apply it into the fields of ecology and environmental science more easily after the fundamental theorem for Earth’s surface system modeling(FTESM). The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei(BTH) region is taken as a case area to conduct empirical studies of algorithms for spatial upscaling, spatial downscaling, spatial interpolation, data fusion and model-data assimilation, which are based on high accuracy surface modelling(HASM), corresponding with corollaries of FTEEM. The case studies demonstrate how eco-environmental surface modelling is substantially improved when both extrinsic and intrinsic information are used along with an appropriate method of HASM. Compared with classic algorithms, the HASM-based algorithm for spatial upscaling reduced the root-meansquare error of the BTH elevation surface by 9 m. The HASM-based algorithm for spatial downscaling reduced the relative error of future scenarios of annual mean temperature by 16%. The HASM-based algorithm for spatial interpolation reduced the relative error of change trend of annual mean precipitation by 0.2%. The HASM-based algorithm for data fusion reduced the relative error of change trend of annual mean temperature by 70%. The HASM-based algorithm for model-data assimilation reduced the relative error of carbon stocks by 40%. | 8 | A highly ionic conductive succinonitrile-based composite solid electrolyte for lithium metal batteries显示文摘Solid-state Li metal batteries with solid electrolytes have built a potential way to solve the safety and low energy density problems of current commercial Li-ion batteries with liquid electrolyte.As a key component of solid-state Li metal batteries,solid electrolytes require high ionic conductivities and good mechanical properties.We have designed a composite solid electrolyte(CSE)consisting of poly(vinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropylene)(PVDF-HFP)-Li_(6.5)La_(3)Zr_(1.5)Ta_(0.5)O_(12)(LLZTO)-succinonitrile(SN)and Li bis(trifluoromethylsulphonyl)imide(LiTFSI).The PVDF-HFP-based porous matrix made by electrospinning ensures good mechanical properties of the electrolyte membrane,and the large proportion of SN filling material makes the electrolyte membrane have an ionic conductivity of 1.11 mS·cm^(–1)without the addition of liquid electrolyte.The symmetric battery assembled with CSE can be cycled stably for more than 600 h,and the LiFePO4|CSE|Li full battery can also be cycled stably for more than 200 cycles.In addition to Li metal batteries,Li-O_(2)and Li-CO_(2)batteries that use CSE as electrolytes also have good performances,reflecting the universality of CSE.CSE does not only guarantee good mechanical properties but also obtain a high ionic conductivity.This design provides a new idea for the commercial application of polymer-based solid batteries. | Genrui Qiu Yapeng Shi Bolong Huang | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,6: | 0 |

| 10 | Malignant transformation and treatment of cystic mixed germ cell tumor显示文摘Objective:The authors report an extremely unusual presentation and management of a children pineal mixed germ cell tumor mainly composed of immature teratoma,aiming to summarize main theraptic points by literature review.Methods:A cystic lesion located in the rear of third ventricle in a child was detected3 years ago with no other therapy performed except for a ventriculo-peritoneal shunt.During the following 3 years,intermitted regular brain MRI demonstrated no evidence of lesion aggrandizement.However from 20 days before admission to our institute the patient began to present acutely with exacerbating clinical symptoms meanwhile brain MRI showed signs of abrupt revulsions of initial lesion without any incentive cause.Neurological examination revealed a significant rising of serum tumor marker level.Then surgical resection was performed immediately after admission which was followed by correlative two-course chemotherapy.Results:Postoperative brain MRI demonstrated totally removing of the lesion in rear of third ventricle.Serum tumor marker level decreased remarkably after surgery and declined to normal level after two-course chemotherapy.No obvious neurological deficit occurred except for short-term memory difficulty which gradually recovered within two weeks.Soon after the second course chemotherapy the patient was currently asymptomatic and returned to school.Conclusions:(1)To ensure definitive diagnosis and proper therapecutic protocols benefit from grasping clinical features of mixed germ cell tumor.(2)Overall preoperative investigation including serum tumor marker level is as critical as neurological imaging examination.(3)Surgical excision is confirmed to be the key modality of treatment.With the regarding of mixed germ cell tumor,never highlight total resection too much.(4)Postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy is recommended as further intensive treatment to improve the prognosis of mix germ cell tumor. | Yapeng Zhao Hongyu Duan Qinghui Zhang Bingxin Shi Hui Liang Yuqi Zhang | 2016 | Translational Neuroscience and Clinics2016,2,1: | 0 |

| 12 | Numerical evaluation of the effectiveness of frost heave mitigation strategies for chilled arctic gas pipelines显示文摘To prevent the thawing of ice-rich permafrost,it is suggested that gas should be transported in a chilled state(below the freezing temperature)in pipelines buried in permafrost.However,frost heave occurs when water migrates towards the chilled pipeline and ice lenses grow underneath the pipe.This might endanger the integrity of the pipeline and the environment as well.Therefore,innovative frost heave mitigation measures are required when designing the pipeline,especially those sections in discontinuous permafrost or near the compressor stations.The ground temperature field in response to the operation of a proposed chilled gas pipeline traversing permafrost regions in Alaska was simulated by a pipe-soil thermal interaction geothermal model.Frost heave mitigation measures,including insulation around the pipe,flat slab insulation under the pipe,and heating cables combined with slab insulation,were evaluated for chilled pipeline operation in seasonally varying ambient temperatures.The numerical results show that the minimum temperature of the observation point at 2.5 m below the pipe bottom increases by 17%,29%,and 48%when the thermal conductivity of the outer insulation layer is 0.1,0.05,and 0.02 W/(m K),respectively.For flat slab insulation,the thermal field is less sensitive to varying slab thicknesses than to varying thermal conductivity,implying the thermal conductivity,not the thickness,is the crucial factor.Additionally,the heat flow could be redirected from vertical to horizontal by flat slab insulation.The electrical heating cables could be regarded as a new heat source to balance the heat removal rate of the soil around the chilled pipe.The minimum temperature of the observation point at 1.1 m below the bottom of the pipe increases from-15.2℃to-3.0,1.5,and 7.5℃,corresponding to the heating cable power of 20,30,and 40 W,respectively,with the power of 30 W deemed appropriate for the study case.It is concluded that heating cables in combination with insulation slabs could be adopted to regulate the temperature field around the chilled pipeline efficiently and economically.The advantages of this combination include redirecting the heat flow and eliminating frost in the soil underlying the pipe.These approaches could be considered for applications in gas pipeline projects in arctic and alpine/high-plateau permafrost regions. | XinZe Li QingBai Wu HuiJun Jin Rui Shi Gang Wu YaPeng Cao | 2022 | Research in Cold and Arid Regions2022,14,5: | 0 |
