| 1 | Onset of the Meissner effect at 65 K in Fe Se thin film grown on Nb-doped Sr TiO_3 substrate显示文摘We report the Meissner effect studies on an Fe Se thin film grown on Nb-doped Sr Ti O3 substrate by molecular beam epitaxy. Two-coil mutual inductance measurement clearly demonstrates the onset of diamagnetic screening at 65 K, which is consistent with the gap opening temperature determined by previous angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy results. The applied magnetic field causes a broadening of the superconducting transition near the onset temperature, which is the typical behavior for quasi-two-dimensional superconductors. | 2 | Mycorrhizal symbiosis modulates the rhizosphere microbiota to promote rhizobia–legume symbiosis显示文摘Plants establish symbioses with mutualistic fungi,such as arbuscular mycorrhizal(AM)fungi,and bacteria,such as rhizobia,to exchange key nutrients and thrive.Plants and symbionts have coevolved and represent vital components of terrestrial ecosystems.Plants employ an ancestral AM signaling pathway to establish intracellular symbioses,including the legume–rhizobia symbiosis,in their roots.Nevertheless,the relationship between the AM and rhizobial symbioses in native soil is poorly understood.Here,we examined how these distinct symbioses affect root-associated bacterial communities in Medicago truncatula by performing quantitative microbiota profiling(QMP)of 16S rRNA genes.We found that M.truncatula mutants that cannot establish AM or rhizobia symbiosis have an altered microbial load(quantitative abundance)in the rhizosphere and roots,and in particular that AM symbiosis is required to assemble a normal quantitative root-associated microbiota in native soil.Moreover,quantitative microbial co-abundance network analyses revealed that AM symbiosis affects Rhizobiales hubs among plant microbiota and benefits the plant holobiont.Through QMP of rhizobial rpoB and AM fungal SSU rRNA genes,we revealed a new layer of interaction whereby AM symbiosis promotes rhizobia accumulation in the rhizosphere of M.truncatula.We further showed that AM symbiosis-conditioned microbial communities within the M.truncatula rhizosphere could promote nodulation in different legume plants in native soil.Given that the AM and rhizobial symbioses are critical for crop growth,our findings might inform strategies to improve agricultural management.Moreover,our work sheds light on the co-evolution of these intracellular symbioses during plant adaptation to native soil conditions. | Xiaolin Wang Huan Feng Yayu Wang Mingxing Wang Xingguang Xie Huizhong Chang Like Wang Jicheng Qu Kai Sun Wei He Chunyan Wang Chuanchao Dai Zhaohui Chu Changfu Tian Nan Yu Xuebin Zhang Huan Liu Ertao Wang | 2021 | Molecular Plant2021,14,3: | 6 |
| 3 | Study of establishing disease-syndrome combined with animal model for immune thrombocytopenic purpura without additional conditions显示文摘Objective:To explore the feasibility of establishing the disease-syndrome combined animal model for immune thrombocytopenic purpura(ITP)without additional conditions.Methods:Three batches of data related to the ITP model mice obtained by replication at different time were analyzed,and whether the APS-injected model mice replicated through the passive immune modeling method could simulate the pathogenesis and clinical characteristics of human ITP was evaluated according to the differentiation criteria for diseasesyndrome combined model.Results:The APS-injected replicated ITP model mice possessed the following traits:(1)Compared with the normal group,the platelet count was significantly decreased,and coagulation time was significantly increased in the model group(P<.01).(2)Compared with the normal group,the medullary thrombocytogenous megakaryocytes were significantly decreased(P<.05,.01,.001).(3)The APS-injected sites and other parts of the model mice had spontaneous hemorrhage.(4)Behavioral changing signs were observed 1 week after the modeling(i.e.low activity,delayed activity,poor appetite,skin petechia/hemorrhage and spontaneous hemorrhage at the injected sites or other parts),and were getting more and more severe.Conclusion:According to the syndrome differentiation criteria for disease-syndrome combined model of ITP,the APS-injected animal model of ITP replicated through the passive immune modeling method without additional conditions possesses the characteristics of disease-syndrome combined model.It provides an ideal tool for the development of traditional Chinese medicine pharmacology experiment. | Haiyan Lang Ming Guo Yuting Chu Wei Ma Yayue Zhang Ling Zhang Xinyi Chen | 2016 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2016,3,3: | 2 |

| 9 | Hemostatic mechanism of the effect of Jianpi Yiqi Shexue decoction on vascular factors in immune thrombocytopenia model mice显示文摘Objective: To explore the hemostatic mechanism of Jianpi Yiqi Shexue decoction(JYSD) by regulating vascular factors in an immune thrombocytopenia(ITP) mouse model.Methods: An ITP mouse model was established by the passive-immune modeling method, and interventional drugs used were prednisone tablets and JYSD. The platelet count;vascular activity-related factors v WF, VCAM-1, and TM;and VEGF and b FGF were used as observational indicators.Results: On the 8th day of administration, compared with the model group, platelet counts in the prednisone and JYSD groups increased(both P <.001). Compared with the control group, the levels of v WF, VCAM-1, and TM in the other groups were lower(all P <.05). The VCAM-1 level in the JYSD group was higher than that in the prednisone group(P =.012), but without significant difference compared with the model group(P =.051). The TM level in the JYSD group was the lowest(vs. the model group,P =.047;vs. the prednisone group, P =.006). Compared with the control group, the IOD values of VEGF and b FGF in the other three groups were lower(all P <.01). The IOD values of VEGF in the prednisone and JYSD groups were both higher than those in the model group(P =.002 and P <.001, respectively). The IOD values of b FGF among the model, prednisone, and JYSD groups were not statistically significant(P >.05).Conclusion: A vascular factor disorder is involved in the pathogenesis of ITP. JYSD can increase the platelet count, upregulate VEGF expression, and reduce the TM level. JYSD has the same effect as prednisone tablets in regulating platelet, v WF, VEGF, and b FGF, with a stronger effect in normalizing VCAM-1 and TM levels. | 17 | Positive Effects of Isopropanol as a Co-Precipitant in Glycerol-3-Phosphate Acyltransferase Crystallization显示文摘Glycerol-3-phosphate acyltransferase(GPAT) is considered as the rate-limiting enzyme of glycerolipid synthesis pathway and the core element in lysophosphatidic acid(LPA) synthesis. For understanding its catalytic mechanism, the structural biology study is expected, but is always hindered by obtaining crystals for X-ray diffraction analysis. In this study, a progressive strategy to optimize the crystal of microalgae plastidial GPAT was presented. After the expression and purification of GPAT, the crystals were screened by hanging-drop and only clusters were obtained. The crystals were optimized by adjusting temperature, pH, protein concentration, or precipitant, but little improvement. To improve the interaction between protein and precipitant, the isopropanol was applied as co-precipitant. The qualified crystals formed. It's suggested that isopropanol is critical to affect protein crystallization by altering polyethylene glycol(PEG)-water-protein interaction when PEG serves as precipitant. In this study, engineered human embryonic spinal cord-like tissues with dorsal and ventral neuronal characters (DV-SC) were generated by inducing human neural progenitor cells (hscNPCs) to differentiate into various types of dorsal and ventral neuronal cells on collagen scaffold in vitro. Transplantation of DV-SC into complete SCI models in rats and monkeys showed better therapeutic effects than undifferentiated hscNPCs, including pronounced cell survival and maturation. DV-SC formed a targeted connection with the host’s ascending and descending axons, partially restored interrupted neural circuits, and improved motor evoked potentials and the hindlimb function of animals with SCI. | 20 | Fine-Grained Features for Image Captioning显示文摘Image captioning involves two different major modalities(image and sentence)that convert a given image into a language that adheres to visual semantics.Almost all methods first extract image features to reduce the difficulty of visual semantic embedding and then use the caption model to generate fluent sentences.The Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)is often used to extract image features in image captioning,and the use of object detection networks to extract region features has achieved great success.However,the region features retrieved by this method are object-level and do not pay attention to fine-grained details because of the detection model’s limitation.We offer an approach to address this issue that more properly generates captions by fusing fine-grained features and region features.First,we extract fine-grained features using a panoramic segmentation algorithm.Second,we suggest two fusion methods and contrast their fusion outcomes.An X-linear Attention Network(X-LAN)serves as the foundation for both fusion methods.According to experimental findings on the COCO dataset,the two-branch fusion approach is superior.It is important to note that on the COCO Karpathy test split,CIDEr is increased up to 134.3%in comparison to the baseline,highlighting the potency and viability of our method. | Mengyue Shao Jie Feng Jie Wu Haixiang Zhang Yayu Zheng | 2023 | Computers, Materials & Continua2023,,6: | 0 |
