1Transformers in computational visual media:A survey显示文摘Transformers,the dominant architecture for natural language processing,have also recently attracted much attention from computational visual media researchers due to their capacity for long-range representation and high performance.Transformers are sequence-to-sequence models,which use a selfattention mechanism rather than the RNN sequential structure.Thus,such models can be trained in parallel and can represent global information.This study comprehensively surveys recent visual transformer works.We categorize them according to task scenario:backbone design,high-level vision,low-level vision and generation,and multimodal learning.Their key ideas are also analyzed.Differing from previous surveys,we mainly focus on visual transformer methods in low-level vision and generation.The latest works on backbone design are also reviewed in detail.For ease of understanding,we precisely describe the main contributions of the latest works in the form of tables.As well as giving quantitative comparisons,we also present image results for low-level vision and generation tasks.Computational costs and source code links for various important works are also given in this survey to assist further development.Yifan Xu Huapeng Wei Minxuan Lin Yingying Deng Kekai Sheng Mengdan Zhang Fan Tang Weiming Dong Feiyue Huang Changsheng Xu 2022Computational Visual Media2022,8,1:6
2Construction of NH2-MIL-125(Ti)/Bi2WO6 composites with accelerated charge separation for degradation of organic contaminants under visible light irradiation显示文摘Photocatalysis is considered as an ideal strategy for water pollution treatment.However,it remains challenging to design a highly efficient photo-catalytic system through regulating the charge flow via a precise approach.In this work,a novel NH2-MIL-125(Ti)/Bi2WO6 composite was constructed via self-assembly growing Bi2WO6 nanosheets on NH2-MIL-125(Ti)material.The characterization results demonstrated that NH2-MIL-125(Ti)was successfully incorporated into Bi2WO6 and the photoexcited carriers could be efficiently separated and transferred between the two components.NH2-MIL-125(Ti)/Bi2WO6 composites displayed enhanced photocatalytic activity for the removal of rhodamine B(RhB)and tetracycline(TC)under visible light irradiation,and the optimal weight ratio of NH2-MIL-125(Ti)was determined to be 7 wt%.The introduction of NH2-MIL-125(Ti)into Bi2WO6 could raise the absorption of visible light,accelerate the separation and transfer of charge carriers,and boost photocatalytic activity.This research presents a wide range of possibilities for the further development of novel composites in the field of environment purification.Sheng Yin Yong Chen Ming Li Qingsong Hu Yi Ding Yifan Shao Jun Di Jiexiang Xia Huaming Li 2020Green Energy & Environment2020,5,2:5
3Ultraviolet-to-microwave room-temperature photodetectors based on three-dimensional graphene foams显示文摘Highly sensitive broadband photodetection is of critical importance for many applications.However,it is a great challenge to realize broadband photodetection by using a single device.Here we report photodetectors(PDs)based on three-dimensional(3 D)graphene foam(GF)photodiodes with asymmetric electrodes,which show an ultra-broadband photoresponse from ultraviolet to microwave for wavelengths ranging from 10~2 to 10~6 nm.Moreover,the devices exhibit a high photoresponsivity of 10~3 A·W^-1,short response time of 43 ms,and3 d B bandwidth of 80 Hz.The high performance of the devices can be attributed to the photothermoelectric(PTE,also known as the Seebeck)effect in 3 D GF photodiodes.The excellent optical,thermal,and electrical properties of 3 D GFs offer a superior basis for the fabrication of PTE-based PDs.This work paves the way to realize ultra-broadband and high-sensitivity PDs operated at room temperature.YIFAN LI YATING ZHANG YU YU ZHILIANG CHEN QINGYAN LI TENGTENG LI JIE LI HONGLIANG ZHAO QUAN SHENG FENG YAN ZHEN GE YUXIN REN YONGSHENG CHEN JIANQUAN YAO 2020Photonics Research2020,8,3:4
4Self-powered,flexible,and ultrabroadband ultraviolet-terahertz photodetector based on a laser-reduced graphene oxide/CsPbBr3 composite显示文摘Self-powered and flexible ultrabroadband photodetectors(PDs)are desirable in a wide range of applications.The current PDs based on the photothermoelectric(PTE)effect have realized broadband photodetection.However,most of them express low photoresponse and lack of flexibility.In this work,high-performance,self-powered,and flexible PTE PDs based on laser-scribed reduced graphene oxide(LSG)∕CsPbBr3 are developed.The comparison experiment with LSG PD and fundamental electric properties show that the LSG∕CsPbBr3 device exhibits enhanced ultrabroadband photodetection performance covering ultraviolet to terahertz range with high photoresponsivity of 100 mA/W for 405 nm and 10 mA/W for 118μm at zero bias voltage,respectively.A response time of 18 ms and flexible experiment are also acquired at room temperature.Moreover,the PTE effect is fully discussed in the LSG∕CsPbBr3 device.This work demonstrates that LSG∕CsPbBr3 is a promising candidate for the construction of high-performance,flexible,and self-powered ultrabroadband PDs at room temperature.YIFAN LI YATING ZHANG ZHILIANG CHEN QINGYAN LI TENGTENG LI MENGYAO LIHONGLIANG ZHAO QUAN SHENG WEI SHI JIANQUAN YAO 2020Photonics Research2020,8,8:3
5Space qualification mechanical tests of HTS filters for satellite application显示文摘High performance high-temperature superconducting (HTS) filters have been designed and constructed for satellite application. The filters are actually a superconducting integration of an 8-pole band-pass filter with an adjustable band-stop filter onto a single piece of LaAlO3 substrate (with dimension of 0.5×45×20 mm3). Typical results of the filters, i.e., Filters A (made by YBCO) & B (made by TBCCO) will be reported. The measured responses of Filter A showed excellent specifications, e.g., an insertion loss less than 0.1 dB, a return loss better than -22.5 dB in pass-band, band-edge steepness greater than 12 dB/MHz and out-of-band rejection at a certain band deeper than -110 dB. To satisfy the requirement of rocket launch and space operation, three filters of the above design have undergone mechanical environmental simulation tests for space qualification. Detailed analysis of the response curves of Filter B measured before and after the tests showed that no noticeable change in the per-formance can be found. 6Endothelin-1-induced mini-stroke in the dorsal hippocampus or lateral amygdala results in deficits in learning and memory显示文摘Functional and structural alterations in brain connectivity associated with brain ischemia have been extensively studied.However,the mechanism whereby local ischemia in deep brain region affect brain functions is still unknown.Here,we first established a mini-stroke model by infusion of endothelin-1(ET-1) into the dorsal hippocampus or the lateral amygdala,and then investigated how these mini-infarcts affected brain functions associated with these regions.We found that rats with ET-1 infusion showed deficit in recall of contextual fear memory,but not in learning process and recall of tone fear memory.In novel object task,ET-1 in the hippocampus also eliminated object identity memory.ET-1 in the lateral amygdale affected acquisition of fear conditioning and disrupted retention of tone-conditioned fear,but did not impair retention of contextual fear.These findings suggest that ET-1-induced mini-infarct in deep brain area leads to functional deficits in learning and memory associated with these regions.Tao Sheng Xueting Zhang Shaoli Wang Jingyun Zhang Wei Lu Yifan Dai 2015The Journal of Biomedical Research2015,29,5:3

8Design and Analysis of a Novel Shoulder Exoskeleton Based on a Parallel Mechanism显示文摘Power-assisted upper-limb exoskeletons are primarily used to improve the handling efficiency and load capacity.However,kinematic mismatch between the kinematics and biological joints is a major problem in most existing exoskeletons,because it reduces the boosting effect and causes pain and long-term joint damage in humans.In this study,a shoulder augmentation exoskeleton was designed based on a parallel mechanism that solves the shoulder dislocation problem using the upper arm as a passive limb.Consequently,the human–machine synergy and wearability of the exoskeleton system were improved without increasing the volume and weight of the system.A parallel mechanism was used as the structural body of the shoulder joint exoskeleton,and its workspace,dexterity,and stiffness were analyzed.Additionally,an ergonomic model was developed using the principle of virtual work,and a case analysis was performed considering the lifting of heavy objects.The results show that the upper arm reduces the driving force requirement in coordinated motion,enhances the load capacity of the system,and achieves excellent assistance.Lianzheng Niu Sheng Guo Majun Song Yifan Wu Haibo Qu 2023Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2023,36,2:1

11Highly oriented MAPbI3 crystals for efficient hole-conductor-free printable mesoscopic perovskite solar cells显示文摘Highly crystalline perovskite films with large grains and few grain boundaries are conducive for efficient and stable perovskite solar cells.Current methods for preparing perovskite films are mostly based on a fast crystallization process,with rapid nucleation and insufficient growth.In this study,MAPbI3 perovskite with inhibited nucleation and promoted growth in the TiO_(2)/ZrO_(2)/carbon triple mesoscopic scaffold was crystallized by modulating the precursor and the crystallization process.N-methylformamide showed high solubility for both methylammonium iodide and Pbl2 and hampered the formation of large colloids in the MAPbI3 precursor solution.Furthermore,methylammonium chloride was added to reduce large colloids,which are a possible source of nucleation sites.During the crystallization of MAPbI3,the solvent was removed at a slow controlled speed,to avoid rapid nucleation and provide sufficient time for crystal growth.As a result,highly oriented MAPbI3 crystals with suppressed non-radiative recombination and promoted charge transport were obtained in the triple mesoscopic layer with disordered pores.The corresponding hole-conductor-free,printable mesoscopic perovskite solar cells exhibited a highest power conversion efficiency of 18.82%.The device also exhibited promising long-term operational sta-bility of 1000 h under continuous illumination at maximum power point at 55±5°C and damp-heat stability of 1340 h aging at 85°C as well as 85%relative humidity.Shuang Liu Deyi Zhang Yusong Sheng Weihua Zhang Zhaotong Qin Minchao Qin Sheng Li Yifan Wang Chenxu Gao Qifei Wang Yue Ming Chao Liu Kai Yang Qingyi Huang Jianhang Qi Qiaojiao Gao Kai Chen Yue Hu Yaoguang Rong Xinhui Lu Anyi Mei Hongwei Han 2022Fundamental Research2022,2,2:1
12Joint Model of Wind Speed and Corresponding Direction Based on Wind Rose for Wind Energy Exploitation显示文摘As a common and extensive datum to analyze wind,wind rose is one of the most important components of the meteorological elements.In this study,a model is proposed to establish the joint probability distribution of wind speed and direction using grouped data of wind rose.On the basis of the model,an algorithm is presented to generate pseudorandom numbers of wind speed and paired direction data.Afterward,the proposed model and algorithm are applied to two weather stations located in the Liaodong Gulf.With the models built for the two cases,a novel graph representing the continuous joint probability distribution of wind speed and direction is plotted,showing a strong correlation to the corresponding wind rose.Moreover,the joint probability distributions are utilized to evaluate wind energy potential successfully.In cooperation with Monte Carlo simulation,the model can approximately predict annual directional extreme wind speed under different return periods under the condition that the wind rose can represent the meteorological characters of the wind field well.The model is beneficial to design and install wind turbines.YANG Zihao LIN Yifan DONG Sheng 2022Journal of Ocean University of China2022,21,4:1

14Human sodium/iodide symporter gene induced iodine uptake in human lung adenocarcinoma via baculovirus显示文摘To investigate human sodium/iodide symporter (hNIS) induced iodine uptake in human lung adenocarcinoma via baculovirus, a recombinant baculovirus encoding hNIS gene was constructed under the control of CMV promoter (Bac-CMV-hNIS). In vitro, baculovirus infected A549 cells accumulated about 27 times more 125I than that of noninfected cells. The 125I uptake was maximal after 30-min incubation of the cells, and efflux of the radioactivity was rapid, with 50% lost during the first 2 min after 125I-containing medium had been replaced by nonradioactive medium. Competition experiments in the presence of sodium perchlorate revealed a dose-dependent decrease of 125I uptake. Bac-CMV-hNIS infected tumor cells were selectively killed by exposure to 131I, as revealed by clonogenic assays. In nude mice, Bac-CMV-hNIS infected A549 cells accumulated more 131I than that of the control monitored by 1-h scintigraphy after 131I administration. The transduction of hNIS gene through baculovirus is sufficient to induce iodine transporting in A549 cells in vitro and in vivo, outlining the potential of this novel tumor gene imaging approach. 15Upregulation of E-cadherin by the combination of methionine restriction and HDAC2 intervention for inhibiting gastric carcinoma metastasis显示文摘Invasion and metastasis are the leading causes of death in individuals with malignant tumors,including gastric cancer.In this study,we aim to explore the effect and related mechanisms of methionine restriction(MR)on gastric carcinoma metastasis.In the MR cell model,gastric carcinoma cells are cultured in the MR medium,and in the animal model,BALB/c nude rodents are administered with a methionine-free diet after receiving injections of MKN45 cells into the caudal vein.Transwell assay is used to detect cell invasion and migration.Chromatin im-munoprecipitation is performed to investigate the levels of H3K9me2,H3K27Ac,and H3K27me3 in the E-cadherin promoter.The results show that MR inhibits gastric carcinoma cell migration,invasion,and lung metastasis.MR increases E-cadherin while reducing the H3K27me3 level in the E-cadherin promoter.E-cadherin expression in gastric carcinoma cells is adversely regulated by HDAC2.Overexpressing HDAC2 reduces the H3K27Ac level in the E-cadherin promoter,while interfering with HDAC2 increases the H3K27Ac level.HDAC2 interference under MR conditions further upregulates E-cadherin expression and inhibits gastric carcinoma cell migration,invasion,and lung metastasis.MR combined with HDAc2 interference promotes E-cadherin expression by mediating the me-thylation and acetylation of E-cadherin,thus inhibiting the invasion,migration,and lung metastasis of gastric carcinoma cells.Our study provides a new theoretical basis for the inhibitory effect of MR on gastric cancer.Yifan Li Chenxi Liu Lin Xin Chuan Liu Jiaqing Cao Zhenqi Yue Jie Sheng Yiwu Yuan Qi Zhou Zhiyang Liu 2024Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2024,56,1:0

17Violation of the T^(−1) Relationship in the Lattice Thermal Conductivity of Mg_(3)Sb_(2) with Locally Asymmetric Vibrations显示文摘Most crystalline materials follow the guidelines of T^(-1) temperature-dependent lattice thermal conductivity(κ_(L))at elevated temperatures.Here,we observe a weak temperature dependence ofκL in Mg_(3)Sb_(2),T^(-0:48) from theory and T-0:57 from measurements,based on a comprehensive study combining ab initio molecular dynamics calculations and experimental measurements on single crystal Mg_(3)Sb_(2).These results can be understood in terms of the so-called“phonon renormalization”effects due to the strong temperature dependence of the interatomic force constants(IFCs).The increasing temperature leads to the frequency upshifting for those low-frequency phonons dominating heat transport,and more importantly,the phononphonon interactions are weakened.In-depth analysis reveals that the phenomenon is closely related to the temperature-induced asymmetric movements of Mg atoms within MgSb_(4) tetrahedron.With increasing temperature,these Mg atoms tend to locate at the areas with relatively low force in the force profile,leading to reduced effective 3^(rd)-order IFCs.The locally asymmetrical atomic movements at elevated temperatures can be further treated as an indicator of temperature-induced variations of IFCs and thus relatively strong phonon renormalization.The present work sheds light on the fundamental origins of anomalous temperature dependence of κ_(L) in thermoelectrics.Yifan Zhu Yi Xia Yancheng Wang Ye Sheng Jiong Yang Chenguang Fu Airan Li Tiejun Zhu Jun Luo Christopher Wolverton GJeffrey Snyder Jianjun Liu Wenqing Zhang 2020Research2020,,1:0
18Inhibition of Wnt activity improves peri-implantation development of somatic cell nuclear transfer embryos显示文摘Somatic cell nuclear transfer(SCNT) can reprogram differentiated somatic cells into totipotency.Although pre-implantation development of SCNT embryos has greatly improved,most SCNT blastocysts are still arrested at the peri-implantation stage,and the underlying mechanism remains elusive.Here,we develop a 3D in vitro culture system for SCNT peri-implantation embryos and discover that persistent Wnt signals block the naive-to-primed pluripotency transition of epiblasts with aberrant H3K27me3 occupancy,which in turn leads to defects in epiblast transformation events and subsequent implantation failure.Strikingly,manipulating Wnt signals can attenuate the pluripotency transition and H3K27me3 deposition defects in epiblasts and achieve up to a 9-fold increase in cloning efficiency.Finally,single-cell RNA-seq analysis reveals that Wnt inhibition marke dly enhances the lineage developmental trajectories of SCNT blastocysts during peri-implantation development.Overall,these findings reveal diminished potentials of SCNT blastocysts for lineage specification and validate a critical peri-implantation barrier for SCNT embryos.Yanhe Li Caihong Zheng Yingdong Liu Jincan He Qiang Zhang Yalin Zhang Xiaochen Kou Yanhong Zhao Kuisheng Liu Dandan Bai Yanping Jia Xiaoxiao Han Yifan Sheng Jiqing Yin Hong Wang Shuai Gao Wenqiang Liu Shaorong Gao 2023National Science Review2023,10,9:0
