| 1 | Study on the antiulcer effects of Veronicastrum axillare on gastric ulcer in rats induced by ethanol based on tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and endothelin-1(ET-1)显示文摘Objective:To assess whether Veronicastrum axillare(V.axillare)can ameliorate ethanol-induced gastric mucosal lesions in rats,reduce the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines,suppress apoptosis and improve local microcirculation disturbances.Methods:Totally 48 male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into six groups,eight rats in each group.Rats in the normal group and the model group were administered with 0.9%normal saline respectively.Rats in the positive group and ranitidine group were administered with 0.18%ranitidine suspension by intragastric administration respectively.Those in the high dose V.axillare group,the medium dose V.axillare group and the low dose V.axillare group were administrated with V.axillare at the daily dose of 2.8 g/kg,1.4 g/kg and 0.7 g/kg by intragastric administration.Gastric mucosal lesions were produced by intragastric administration of absolute ethanol.Water extract of V.axillare was successively injected for 14 d and last day was injected 1 h before ethanol administration.Gastric mucosal ulcer index and ulcer inhibitory rate were counted by improved Guth methods.The tissue sections were made for pathological histology analysis.Also,we measured the concentrations of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and endothelin-1(ET-1)in gastric mucosal,as an index of the pro-inflammatory cytokines,apoptosis and local microcirculation.Besides,the mRNA contents of TNF-αand ET-1 were measured to verify effects on gene expression by real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR.Results:Water extract of V.axillare significantly ameliorated the gastric mucosal lesions induced by ethanol administration(P<0.01).Pro-inflammatory cytokines,TNF-a and ET-1 were increased after ethanol administration and significantly reduced by water extract of V.axillare.The expressions of TNF-αand ET-1 mRNA were also be inhibited by water extract of V.axillare.Conclusion:Current evidences show water extract of V.axillare is effective for defending against ethanol-induced gastric mucosal lesions,significantly inhibiting the production of proinflammatory cytokines and the expressions of TNF-αand ET-1 mRNA,which may be useful for inhibiting apoptosis and improving local microcirculation. | Yong Du Weichun Zhao Leilei Lu Jiayan Zheng Xishi Hu Zhehan Yu Lixin Zhu | 2013 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine2013,3,12: | 13 |
| 2 | Downwash distribution of single-rotor unmanned agricultural helicopter on hovering state显示文摘The effective coverage and velocity of downwash are directly related to the assemblage of spraying system and spraying effect.The downwash of the unmanned agricultural helicopter(UAH)N-3 was discussed in the paper.The computational fluid dynamics(CFD)methods were used to simulate and analyze the distribution of the downwash,and a wind field measurement device had been designed to test the downwash of UAH N-3.In the tests,the UAH N-3 was raised up to 5.0 m,6.0 m and 7.0 m from the ground,“annular-radial-distribution-point”method was introduced,8 directions separated by an angle of 45°(the radial direction)with the intersection point of the main rotor shaft and the ground plane as the center,0.5 m as the step length for the longitudinal(to 2.5 m)and radial(to 4.0 m)direction to set the sample points,considering the range of the rotor rotating circular area mainly.The 5 m height results of N-3 were fully discussed to describe the downwash distribution with the longitudinal altitude increased and the radial distance increased.The standard deviations of five test altitudes for eight directions were comparatively analyzed,the results showed that the total standard deviation was not greater than 0.6 m/s.The overall relative maximum margin of error calculated from the simulation and measurement data was between 0.6 and 0.7,which verified the credibility of the simulation data.High-order polynomials were used to fitting the simulation and measurement data,the fitting results showed that the polynomial coefficient of determination R^(2) met or exceeded 0.75 when the altitudes were more than 1 m,indicating the fit equation having the reference values.When the altitudes equal or less than 0.5 m,the polynomial coefficient of determination R^(2) was smaller,ranging during 0.3 to 0.7.The study would provide some foundations for the optimization of the assemblage of spraying system on the single-rotor UAH,which would promote China aviation plant protection. | Zhang Songchao Xue Xinyu Sun Zhu Zhou Lixin Jin Yongkui | 2017 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,5: | 13 |

| 5 | Estimation and prediction of plastic waste annual input into the sea from China显示文摘Marine plastic debris has been a pervasive issue since the last century, and research on its sources and fates plays a vital role in the establishment of mitigation measures. However, data on the quantity of plastic waste that enters the sea on a certain timescale remain largely unavailable in China. Here, we established a model using material flow analysis method based on life cycle assessment to follow plastic product from primary plastic to plastic waste with statistical data and monitoring data from accurate sources. This model can be used to estimate and forecast the annual input of plastic waste into the sea from China until 2020. In 2011, 0.547 3–0.751 5 million tons of plastic waste entered the seas in China, with a growth rate of 4.55% per year until 2017. And the amount will decrease to0.257 1 to 0.353 1 million tons in 2020 under the influence of governmental management. | 7 | Anomaly Models of Spatial Structures for Copper-Molybdenum Ore Deposits and their Application显示文摘This paper discusses the enrichment and depletion regularities for porphyry copper-molybdenum ore deposits in different regions and varied deposit genetic types in the same area, taking three porphyry copper-molybdenum ore deposits (i.e., the Chengmenshan in Jiangxi, Wunugetushan in Inner Mongolia, Baishantang in Gansu) and two copper deposits in Gansu Province (the Huitongshan skarn deposit and Gongpoquan composite deposit) as case studies. The results show that porphyry Cu-Mo deposits or skarn copper deposits include both enrichment of the ore-forming elements and associated elements, and depletion of some lithophile dispersed elements, rare earth elements (REE) and some major elements. And the depleted elements vary with deposits, having generality and their own features. On a deposit scale, the positive anomalies of enriched elements and negative anomalies of depleted elements follow in a sequence to comprise regular anomaly models of spatial structures. The exploration in the Tongchang deposit in Jiangxi and Huitongshan deposit in Gansu suggests that anomaly models play a key role in the identification of mineral occurrences and deposits compared to one single enriched element anomaly. | 11 | High He-ion irradiation resistance of CrMnFeCoNi high-entropy alloy revealed by comparison study with Ni and 304SS显示文摘High entropy alloys(HEAs) have presented potential applications in nuclear power plants owing to their novel atomic structure based high irradiation resistance. However, understanding of He-ion irradiation of HEAs is still lacking. In this work, we reveal He-ion irradiation resistance of HEA CrMnFeCoNi by comparison study with a pure Ni and a 304 stainless steel(304SS). It is found that the damage structure in the three materials can be characterized with He bubbles and stacking faults/stacking fault tetrahedrons((SFs/SFTs), which show a similar depth distribution after He-ion irradiation at both RT and 450℃.Although the He bubbles have a similar size about 2nm after irradiation at RT, the He bubble sizes of the HEA, 304SS, and Ni increase to 4.0±0.9,5.3±1.0 and 6.7 ±1.0 nm after irradiation at 450℃, respectively. Moreover, the density of SFs/SFTs displays in an order of Ni < 304 SS < HEA at both RT and 450℃.The He-ion irradiation at RT causes significant hardness enhancement for the three materials, however,compared to RT, after irradiation at 450℃, the Ni presents softening, while the 304SS, especially the HEA,shows further hardening. | 17 | Metabolic syndrome, intracranial arterial stenosis and cerebral small vessel disease in community- dwelling populations显示文摘Background and purpose This study aimed to investigate the association of metabolic syndrome(MetS)with both intracranial atherosclerotic stenosis(ICAS)and imaging markers of cerebral small vessel disease(CSVD)in a community-based sample.Methods This study included 943 participants(aged 55.6±9.2 years,36.1%male)from the community-based Shunyi cohort study.MetS was defined according to the joint interim criteria and quantified by the MetS severity Z-score.ICAS was evaluated by brain magnetic resonance angiography.The MRI markers of CSVD,including white matter hyperintensities(WMHs),lacunes,cerebral microbleeds(CMBs)and enlarged perivascular spaces(EPVS),were assessed.Multiple regression models were used to investigate the association of MetS severity Z-score with ICAS and these CSVD markers.Results We found that risk of ICAS(OR=1.75,95%CI 1.39 to 2.21,p<0.001)increased consistently with MetS severity.MetS severity was significantly associated with higher risks of WMH volume(β=0.11,95%CI 0.01 to 0.20,p=0.02)and lacunes(OR=1.28,95%CI 1.03 to 1.59,p=0.03)but not the presence of CMBs(OR=0.93,95%CI 0.74 to 1.16,p=0.51)and PVS severity(EPVS in basal ganglia:OR=0.96,95%CI 0.84 to 1.09,p=0.51 and EPVS in white matter:OR=1.09,95%CI 0.96 to 1.23,p=0.21).Conclusions Our findings suggest that WMH and lacunes share risk factors with atherosclerosis of the cerebral artery,whereas the impact of glucose and lipid metabolic disorder to CMB or EPVS might be weak. | Mei-Jun Shu Fei-Fei Zhai Ding-Ding Zhang Fei Han Lixin Zhou Jun Ni Ming Yao Shu-Yang Zhang Li-Ying Cui Zheng-Yu Jin Hui-Juan Zhu Yi-Cheng Zhu | 2021 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,4: | 3 |

| 19 | Astragaloside Ⅳ suppresses post-ischemic natural killer cell infiltration and activation in the brain:involvement of histone deacetylase inhibition显示文摘Natural killer(NK)cells,a type of cytotoxic lymphocytes,can infiltrate into ischemic brain and exacerbate neuronal cell death.Astragaloside Ⅳ(ASIV)is the major bioactive ingredient of Astragalus membranaceus,a Chinese herbal medicine,and possesses potent immunomodulatory and neuroprotective properties.This study investigated the effects of ASIV on post-ischemic brain infiltration and activation of NK cells.ASIV reduced brain infarction and alleviated functional deficits in MCAO rats,and these beneficial effects persisted for at least 7 days.Abundant NK cells infiltrated into the ischemic hemisphere on day 1 after brain ischemia,and this infiltration was suppressed by ASIV.Strikingly,ASIV reversed NK cell deficiency in the spleen and blood after brain ischemia.ASIV inhibited astrocyte-derived CCL2 upregulation and reduced CCR2+NK cell levels in the ischemic brain.Meanwhile,ASIV attenuated NK cell activating receptor NKG2D levels and reduced interferon-γproduction.ASIV restored acetylation of histone H3 and the p65 subunit of nuclear factor-κB in the ischemic brain,suggesting inhibition of histone deacetylase(HDAC).Simultaneously,ASIV prevented p65 nuclear translocation.The effects of ASIV on reducing CCL2 production,restoring acetylated p65 levels and preventing p65 nuclear translocation were mimicked by valproate,an HDAC inhibitor,in astrocytes subjected to oxygen-glucose deprivation.Our findings suggest that ASIV inhibits post-ischemic NK cell brain infiltration and activation and reverses NK cell deficiency in the periphery,which together contribute to the beneficial effects of ASIV against brain ischemia.Furthermore,ASIV’s effects on suppressing NK cell brain infiltration and activation may involve HDAC inhibition. | Baokai Dou Shichun Li Luyao Wei Lixin Wang Shiguo Zhu Zhengtao Wang Zunji Ke Kaixian Chen Zhifei Wang | 2021 | Frontiers of Medicine2021,15,1: | 3 |
