Load Profiling and Its Application to Demand Response: A Review显示文摘The smart grid has been revolutionizing electrical generation and consumption through a two-way flow of power and information. As an important information source from the demand side, Advanced Metering Infrastructure(AMI) has gained increasing popularity all over the world. By making full use of the data gathered by AMI, stakeholders of the electrical industry can have a better understanding of electrical consumption behavior. This is a significant strategy to improve operation efficiency and enhance power grid reliability. To implement this strategy, researchers have explored many data mining techniques for load profiling. This paper performs a state-of-the-art,comprehensive review of these data mining techniques from the perspectives of different technical approaches including direct clustering, indirect clustering, clustering evaluation criteria, and customer segmentation. On this basis, the prospects for implementing load profiling to demand response applications, price-based and incentivebased, are further summarized. Finally, challenges and opportunities of load profiling techniques in future power industry, especially in a demand response world, are discussed.Yi Wang Qixin Chen Chongqing Kang Mingming Zhang Ke Wang Yun Zhao 2015Tsinghua Science and Technology2015,20,2:17
Analysis of miR-205 and miR-155 expression in the blood of breast cancer patients显示文摘The purpose of this study was to identify and validate circulating microRNAs (miRNAs) in human plasma for use as breast cancer (BC) biomarkers and to analyze their relationship to clinicopathologic features and its preliminary biological function. Genome-wide expression profiling of miRNAs in BC was investigated by microarray analysis. miR-155 was up-regulated greater than two-fold in BC compared with Normal Adjacent Tissue (NAT), whereas let-7b, miR-381, miR-10b, miR-125a-5p, miR-335, miR-205 and miR-145 were down- regulated greater than two-fold. Our hypothesis was that circulating miRNAs are also present and differentially expressed in the serum of BC patients compared to controls. Using real-time PCR (RT-PCR), we analyzed miR-205 and miR-155 in archived serum from 30 participants, 20 with breast cancer and 10 healthy people. miR-205 was down-regulated in BC patient serum while miR-155 was up-regulated. Furthermore, we analyzed the relationship between the expression levels of these two miRNAs and the clinicopathologic parameters of BC patients. High expression of miR155 was associated with clinical stage, molecular type, Ki-67 and p53 in BC patients (P<0.05). By contrast, we found no significant correlation between miR-205 and BC patient clinicopathologic parameters. Functional analysis showed that ectopic expression of miR-205 significantly inhibits cell proliferation and promotes apoptosis. miR-205 was down-regulated and miR-155 was up-regulated in BC patient serum. miR-155 was positive correlated with clinical stage and ki-67 and negatively correlated with p53 status.Jingjing Liu Qixin Mao Yan Liu Xiaomeng Hao Sheng Zhang Jin Zhang 2013Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2013,25,1:14
Wheat powdery mildew resistance gene Pm64 derived from wild emmer (Triticum turgidum var.dicoccoides) is tightly linked in repulsion with stripe rust resistance gene Yr5显示文摘Stripe rust and powdery mildew are both devastating diseases for durum and common wheat.Pyramiding of genes conferring resistance to one or more diseases in a single cultivar is an important breeding approach to provide broader spectra of resistances in wheat improvement. A new powdery mildew resistance gene originating from wild emmer(Triticum turgidum var.dicoccoides) backcrossed into common wheat(T. aestivum) line WE35 was identified. It conferred an intermediate level of resistance to Blumeria graminis f. sp. tritici isolate E09 at the seedling stage and a high level of resistance at the adult plant stage. Genetic analysis showed that the powdery mildew resistance in WE35 was controlled by a dominant gene designated Pm64. Bulked segregant analysis(BSA) and molecular mapping indicated that Pm64 was located in chromosome bin 2 BL4-0.50–0.89. Polymorphic markers were developed from the corresponding genomic regions of Chinese Spring wheat and wild emmer accession Zavitan to delimit Pm64 to a 0.55 cM genetic interval between markers WGGBH1364 and WGGBH612, corresponding to a 15 Mb genomic region on Chinese Spring and Zavitan 2 BL, respectively. The genetic linkage map of Pm64 is critical for fine mapping and cloning. Pm64 was completely linked in repulsion with stripe rust resistance gene Yr5. Analysis of a larger segregating population might identify a recombinant line with both genes as a valuable resource in breeding for resistance to powdery mildew and stripe rust.Deyun Zhang Keyu Zhu Lingli Dong Yong Liang Genqiao Li Tilin Fang Guanghao Guo Qiuhong Wu Jingzhong Xie Yongxing Chen Ping Lu Miaomiao Li Huaizhi Zhang Zhenzhong Wang Yan Zhang Qixin Sun Zhiyong Liu 2019The Crop Journal2019,7,6:8
Molecular dissection of plant height QTLs using recombinant inbred lines from hybrids between common wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) and spelt wheat (Triticum spelta L.)显示文摘In wheat, plant height is an important agronomic trait, and a number of quantitative trait loci (QTLs) controlling plant height have been located. In this study, using the conditional and unconditional QTL mapping methods, combined with data from five different growth stages over two years of field trials, the developmental behavior for plant height in wheat was dissected. Nine unconditional QTLs and 8 conditional QTLs were identified, of which 6 were detected by both methods. None of the 11 QTLs was detected at all of the 5 investigated developmental stages, but 7 QTLs were detected at certain stages in both years. Further analysis identified 9 unconditional QTLs at different stages, which could explain the phenotypic variation from 4.81% to 17.35%. It was noteworthy that one major QTL designated QHt-4B-2, which was located on chromosome 4B, was detected on May 18 and 25 in both years, and its genetic contributions to plant height ranged from 13.42% to 16.13%. Moreover, of the 8 conditional QTLs identified, six were detected in both years, in the order of QHt-3B→QHt-4B-1→QHt-4B-2→QHt-4D→QHt-5A and QHt-2B expressed at the same developmental stage. The results indicate that QTL expression during plant height development is selective and in a temporal order.LIU Gang XU ShengBao NI ZhongFu XIE ChaoJie QIN DanDan LI Jing LU LaHu ZHANG JinPing PENG HuiRu SUN QiXin 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,18:6
Ectopic expression of VRT-A2 underlies the origin of Triticum polonicum and Triticum petropavlovskyi with long outer glumes and grains显示文摘Polish wheat (Triticum polonicum) is a unique tetraploid wheat species characterized by an elongated outer glume. The genetic control of the long-glume trait by a single semi-dominant locus, P1 (from Polish wheat), was established more than 100 years ago, but the underlying causal gene and molecular nature remain elusive. Here, we report the isolation of VRT-A2, encoding an SVP-clade MADS-box transcription factor, as the P1 candidate gene. Genetic evidence suggests that in T. polonicum, a naturally occurring sequence rearrangement in the intron-1 region of VRT-A2 leads to ectopic expression of VRT-A2 in floral organs where the long-glume phenotype appears. Interestingly, we found that the intron-1 region is a key ON/OFF molecular switch for VRT-A2 expression, not only because it recruits transcriptional repressors, but also because it confers intron-mediated transcriptional enhancement. Genotypic analyses using wheat accessions indicated that the P1 locus is likely derived from a single natural mutation in tetraploid wheat, which was subsequently inherited by hexaploid T. petropavlovskyi. Taken together, our findings highlight the promoter-proximal intron variation as a molecular basis for phenotypic differentiation, and thus species formation in Triticum plants.Jing Liu Zhaoyan Chen Zhihui Wang Zhaoheng Zhang Xiaoming Xie Zihao Wang Lingling Chai Long Song Xuejiao Cheng Man Feng Xiaobo Wang Yanhong Liu Zhaorong Hu Jiewen Xing Zhenqi Su Huiru Peng Mingming Xin Yingyin Yao Weilong Guo Qixin Sun Jie Liu Zhongfu Ni 2021Molecular Plant2021,14,9:4
Sensitive system calls based packed malware variants detection using principal component initialized MultiLayers neural networks显示文摘Malware detection has become mission sensitive as its threats spread from computer systems to Internet of things systems.Modern malware variants are generally equipped with sophisticated packers, which allow them bypass modern machine learning based detection systems. To detect packed malware variants, unpacking techniques and dynamic malware analysis are the two choices. However, unpacking techniques cannot always be useful since there exist some packers such as private packers which are hard to unpack.Although dynamic malware analysis can obtain the running behaviours of executables, the unpacking behaviours of packers add noisy information to the real behaviours of executables, which has a bad affect on accuracy. To overcome these challenges,in this paper,we propose a new method which first extracts a series of system calls which is sensitive to malicious behaviours, then use principal component analysis to extract features of these sensitive system calls, and finally adopt multi-layers neural networks to classify the features of malware variants and legitimate ones.Theoretical analysis and real-life experimental results show that our packed malware variants detection technique is comparable with the the state-of-art methods in terms of accuracy. Our approach can achieve more than 95.6\%of detection accuracy and 0.048 s of classification time cost.Jixin Zhang Kehuan Zhang Zheng Qin Hui Yin Qixin Wu 2018Cybersecurity2018,1,1:3
Nanoscale monitoring of mitochondria and lysosome interactions for drug screening and discover显示文摘Technology advances in genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics largely expanded the pool of potential therapeutic targets.Compared with the in vitro setting,cell-based screening assays have been playing a key role in the processes of drug discovery and development.Besides the commonly used strategies based on colorimetric and cell viability,we reason that methods that capture the dynamic cellular events will facilitate optimal hit identification with high sensitivity and specificity.Herein,we propose a live-cell screening strategy using structured illumination microscopy (SIM) combined with an automated cell colocalization analysis software,CellprofilerTM,to screen and discover drugs for mitochondria and lysosomes interaction at a nanoscale resolution in living cells. This strategy quantitatively benchmarks the mitochondria-lysosome interactions such as mitochondria and lysosomes contact (MLC) and mitophagy. The automatic quantitative analysis also resolves fine changes of the mitochondria-lysosome interaction in response to genetic and pharmacological interventions.Super-resolution live-cell imaging on the basis of quantitative analysis opens up new avenues for drug screening and development by targeting dynamic organelle interactions at the nanoscale resolution, which could facilitate optimal hit identification and potentially shorten the cycle of drug discovery.Qixin Chen Xintian Shao Zhiqi Tian Yang Chen Payel Mondal Fei Liu Fengshan Wang Peixue Ling Weijiang He Kai Zhang Zijian Guo Jiajie Diao 2019Nano Research2019,12,5:2
Structural evolution of plasma sprayed amorphous Li_(4)Ti_(5)O_(12) electrode and ceramic/polymer composite electrolyte during electrochemical cycle of quasi-solid-state lithium battery显示文摘A quasi-solid-state lithium battery is assembled by plasma sprayed amorphous Li_(4)Ti_(5)O_(12) to provide the outstanding electrochemical stability and better normal interface contact.Scanning Electron Microscope(SEM),Scanning Transmission Electron Microscopy(STEM),Transmission Electron Microscopy(TEM),and Energy Dispersive Spectrometer(EDS)were used to analyze the structural evolution and performance of plasma sprayed amorphous LTO electrode and ceramic/polymer composite electrolyte before and after electrochemical experiments.By comparing the electrochemical performance of the amorphous LTO electrode and the traditional LTO electrode, the electrochemical behavior of different electrodes is studied. The results show that plasma spraying can prepare an amorphous LTO electrode coating of about 8μm.After 200 electrochemical cycles, the structure of the electrode evolved, and the inside of the electrode fractured and cracks expanded, because of recrystallization at the interface between the rich fluorine compounds and the amorphous LTO electrode.Similarly, the ceramic/polymer composite electrolyte has undergone structural evolution after 200 test cycles. The electrochemical cycle results show that the cycle stability, capacity retention rate, coulomb efficiency, and internal impedance of amorphous LTO electrode are better than traditional LTO electrode. This innovative and facile quasi-solid-state strategy is aimed to promote the intrinsic safety and stability of working lithium battery, shedding light on the development of next-generation high-performance solid-state lithium batteries.Xi Wu Xinghua Liang Xiaofeng Zhang Lingxiao Lan Suo Li Qixin Gai 2021Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,2:2

Ectopic Overexpression of Wheat Adenosine Diphosphate-ribosylation Factor,TaARF,Increases Growth Rate in Arabidopsis显示文摘Differential gene expression between hybrids and their parents is considered to be associated with heterosis. However, the physiological functions and possible contribution to heterosis of these differentially expressed genes are unknown. We have isolated one hybrid upregulated gene encoding putative wheat ADP-ribosylation factor, designated TaARF. In thisstudy, real-time quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction analysis indicated that the TaARF transcriptwas preferentially expressed in root, node and crown, and the accumulation of TaARF mRNA in hybrid was more than1.5-fold higher than that in two parents. In order to understand possible roles of the putative wheat ARF gene, TaARFwas overexpressed in Arabidopsis, and the transgenic plants were characterized. We show that ectopic overexpression ofTaARF in Arabidopsis leads to increased leaf area, increased growth rate and earlier transition to flowering, suggestingthat TaARF plays significant roles in growth and development. This study provides evidence demonstrating that TaARFplays important roles in gr owth and development and we speculate that the upregulated expression of this gene mightcontribute to the heterosis observed in wheat root and leaf growth.Yingyin Yao Zhongfu Ni Jinkun Du Zongfu Han Yan Chen Qingbo Zhang Qixin Sun 2009Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2009,51,1:2
Simultaneous passivation of bulk and interface defects through synergistic effect of anion and cation toward efficient and stable planar perovskite solar cells显示文摘Bulk and interface carrier nonradiative recombination losses impede the further improvement of power conversion efficiency(PCE)and stability of perovskite solar cells(PSCs).It is highly necessary to develop multifunctional strategy to minimize surface and interface nonradiative recombination losses.Herein,we report a bulk and interface defect passivation strategy via the synergistic effect of anions and cations, where multifunctional potassium sulphate(K_(2)SO_(4))is incorporated at SnO_(2)/perovskite interface. We find that K^(+)ions in K_(2)SO_(4)diffuse into perovskite layer and suppress the formation of bulk defects in perovskite films, and the SO_(4)^(2-)ions remain located at interface via the strong chemical interaction with SnO_(2)layer and perovskite layer, respectively.Through this synergistic modification strategy, effective defect passivation and improved energy band alignment are achieved simultaneously. These beneficial effects are translated into an efficiency increase from 19.45%to 21.18%with a low voltage deficit of0.53 V mainly as a result of boosted open-circuit voltage(V_(oc))after K_(2)SO_(4)modification.In addition, the K_(2)SO_(4)modification contributes to ameliorated stability. The present work provides a route to minimize bulk and interface nonradiative recombination losses for the simultaneous realization of PCE and stability enhancement by rational anion and cation synergistic engineering.Cong Zhang Huaxin Wang Haiyun Li Qixin Zhuang Cheng Gong Xiaofei Hu Wensi Cai Shuangyi Zhao Jiangzhao Chen Zhigang Zang 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,12:2

TaMADS29 interacts with TaNF-YB1 to synergistically regulate early grain development in bread wheat显示文摘Grain development is a crucial determinant of yield and quality in bread wheat(Triticum aestivum L.).However,the regulatory mechanisms underlying wheat grain development remain elusive. Here we report how Ta MADS29 interacts with Ta NF-YB1 to synergistically regulate early grain development in bread wheat. The tamads29 mutants generated by CRISPR/Cas9 exhibited severe grain filling deficiency, coupled with excessive accumulation of reactive oxygen species(ROS)and abnormal programmed cell death that occurred in early developing grains, while overexpression of Ta MADS29 increased grain width and1,000-kernel weight.Further analysis revealed that Ta MADS29 interacted directly with Ta NF-YB1;null mutation in Ta NF-YB1caused grain developmental deficiency similar to tamads29 mutants. The regulatory complex composed of Ta MADS29 and Ta NF-YB1 exercises its possible function that inhibits the excessive accumulation of ROS by regulating the genes involved in chloroplast development and photosynthesis in early developing wheat grains and prevents nucellar projection degradation and endosperm cell death, facilitating transportation of nutrients into the endosperm and wholly filling of developing grains.Collectively, our work not only discloses the molecular mechanism of MADS-box and NF-Y TFs in facilitating bread wheat grain development, but also indicates that caryopsis chloroplast might be a central regulator of grain development rather than merely a photosynthesis organelle.More importantly, our work offers an innovative way to breed high-yield wheat cultivars by controlling the ROS level in developing grains.Guoyu Liu Runqi Zhang Sen Li Rehmat Ullah Fengping Yang Zihao Wang Weilong Guo Mingshan You Baoyun Li Chaojie Xie Liangsheng Wang Jie Liu Zhongfu Ni Qixin Sun Rongqi Liang 2023Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,7:1
