12018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). 2Effect of Nb Solute and NbC Precipitates on Dynamic or Static Recrystallization in Nb Steels显示文摘Nb is often considered to be a powerful alloying element for controlling the recrystallization process in microalloyed high strength steels.However,Nb can be presented either as solute in solution,where it is thought to exhibit a strong solute drag effect,or as NbC precipitates,which are thought to be effective at pinning grain boundaries.Therefore,it is very important to quantitatively measure Nb in solution or in NbC precipitates.A quantitative analysis method of Nb in solution and in precipitates was proposed.The test procedure involved chemical dissolution,filtration and inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopic(ICP-AES) analysis.The amount of Nb in solution in Nb-microallyed steels under different treatment conditions was evaluated.The results show that the niobium and carbon contents in steels have a great effect on niobium dissolution kinetics.The solute Nb is more effective to retard dynamic recrystallization,while the NbC precipitates are more effective to inhibit static recrystallization.The results may help to comprehend effect of Nb in steels,and provide some guides in the design of new high strength Nb-bearing steels.XIAO Fu-ren CAO Ya-bin QIAO Gui-ying ZHANG Xiao-bing LIAO Bo 2012Journal of Iron and Steel Research(International)2012,19,11:21

5Effect of Nb on Mechanical Properties of HAZ for High-Nb X80 Pipeline Steels显示文摘The mechanical properties of heat affected zone(HAZ)of two commercial high-Nb X80grade pipeline steels with different alloy elements were investigated using thermal simulation performed on a Gleeble-3500thermal simulator.The results showed that the high-Nb steels have excellent weldability.Embrittlement regions appear in coarse grain heat affected zone(CGHAZ)and intercritically heat affected zone(ICHAZ);Softening region appears in fine-grain heat affected zone(FGHAZ),and the strength here was even lower than 555 MPa as required in the standard.Meanwhile,with the increase of heat input,the strength and the toughness of HAZ of steel with high Nb,C and lower alloy decrease notably.Therefore,take into account the welding procedure during manufacture of weld pipe,suitable amount of alloy elements,such as Cr,Ni,Cu,Mo and so on,is necessary for high Nb X80heavythick steel plate.CHEN Xiao-wei LIAO Bo QIAO Gui-ying GU Yu WANG Xu XIAO Fu-ren 2013Journal of Iron and Steel Research(International)2013,20,12:15
6Ciliary parathyroid hormone signaling activates transforming growth factor-βto maintain intervertebral disc homeostasis during aging显示文摘Degenerative disc disease(DDD) is associated with intervertebral disc degeneration of spinal instability. Here, we report that the cilia of nucleus pulposus(NP) cells mediate mechanotransduction to maintain anabolic activity in the discs. We found that mechanical stress promotes transport of parathyroid hormone 1 receptor(PTH1 R) to the cilia and enhances parathyroid hormone(PTH) signaling in NP cells. PTH induces transcription of integrin α_vβ_6 to activate the transforming growth factor(TGF)-β-connective tissue growth factor(CCN2)-matrix proteins signaling cascade. Intermittent injection of PTH(iPTH) effectively attenuates disc degeneration of aged mice by direct signaling through NP cells, specifically improving intervertebral disc height and volume by increasing levels of TGF-β activity, CCN2, and aggrecan. PTH1 R is expressed in both mouse and human NP cells. Importantly,knockout PTH1 R or cilia in the NP cells results in significant disc degeneration and blunts the effect of PTH on attenuation of aged discs. 7Interaction of methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase C677T,cytochrome P4502E1 polymorphism and environment factors in esophageal cancer in Kazakh population显示文摘AIM: To evaluate the association and interaction of genetic polymorphisms in methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHER) and cytochrome P4502E1 (CY-P4502E1), environment risk factors with esophageal cancer (EC) in Kazakh, a high EC incidence area of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China.METHODS: A 1:2 matched case-control study was conducted with 120 cases of EC and 240 population-or hospital-based controls. The controls were matched for sex, nationality, area of residence and age within a 5-year difference. MTHER and CYP4502E1 genotypes were identified by PCR-based restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP). A conditional logistic regression model was established to identify risk factors. The strata method was adopted in interaction analysis. RESULTS: Low consumption of green vegetables and fresh fruits, alcohol drinking, and unsafe water (shallow well, or river) were found to be the risk factors for EC. Individuals with the MTHFR677 (C/T + T/T) genotype had a 2.62-fold (95% CI: 1.61-4.28) risk of developing EC compared with those who carried the C/C genotype. Individuals with the CYP4502E1C1/C1 genotype had a 3.00-fold (95% CI: 1.82-4.96) risk compared with those who carried the CYP4502E1 (C1/C2 + C2/C2) genotype.Gene-environment interaction analysis showed that MTHFR677 gene polymorphism was correlated with consumption of green vegetables and fresh fruit, while CYP4502E1 C1/C1 was correlated with alcohol drink-ing and unsafe drinking water. MTHFR and CYP4502E1 analysis of gene-gene interaction showed that individu-als with the MTHFR677 (C/T + T/T) and CYP4502E1C1/C1 genotypes had a 7.41-fold (95% CI: 3.60-15.25) risk of developing EC compared with those who carried the MTHFR677C/C and CYP4502E1 RsaI C1/C2 + C2/C2 genes, and the interaction rate was higher than that of the two factors alone. CONCLUSION: Low consumption of green vegetables and fresh fruits, alcohol drinking, and unsafe water (shallow well, or river) and polymorphisms in MTHFR and CYP4502E1 genes are important risk factors for EC. There is a synergistic interaction among polymorphisms in MTHFR and CYP4502E1 genes and environment factors. 8Insight-HXMT observations of the first binary neutron star merger GW170817显示文摘Finding the electromagnetic(EM) counterpart of binary compact star merger, especially the binary neutron star(BNS) merger,is critically important for gravitational wave(GW) astronomy, cosmology and fundamental physics. On Aug. 17, 2017,Advanced LIGO and Fermi/GBM independently triggered the first BNS merger, GW170817, and its high energy EM counterpart,GRB 170817 A, respectively, resulting in a global observation campaign covering gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, optical, IR, radio as well as neutrinos. The High Energy X-ray telescope(HE) onboard Insight-HXMT(Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope) is the unique high-energy gamma-ray telescope that monitored the entire GW localization area and especially the optical counterpart(SSS17 a/AT2017 gfo) with very large collection area(~1000 cm^2) and microsecond time resolution in 0.2-5 MeV. In addition,Insight-HXMT quickly implemented a Target of Opportunity(ToO) observation to scan the GW localization area for potential X-ray emission from the GW source. Although Insight-HXMT did not detect any significant high energy(0.2-5 MeV) radiation from GW170817, its observation helped to confirm the unexpected weak and soft nature of GRB 170817 A. Meanwhile,Insight-HXMT/HE provides one of the most stringent constraints(~10^(-7) to 10^(-6) erg/cm^2/s) for both GRB170817 A and any other possible precursor or extended emissions in 0.2-5 MeV, which help us to better understand the properties of EM radiation from this BNS merger. 9A multiplex PCR for differential detection of Echinococcus granulosus sensu stricto,Echinococcus multilocularis and Echinococcus canadensis in China显示文摘Background:Echinococcosis caused byEchinococcus is one of the most major infectious diseases in north-west highland of China.E.granulosus sensu strict,E.multilocularis,andE.canadensis are known to be the only three species related to human health transmitting in the areas.To achieve targeted treatment and control of echinococcosis,the accurate identification and discrimination of the species are important.However,currently the available diagnostic approaches do not present ideal results either in accuracy or efficiency.Methods:In the study,a set of primers were designed to aim at the three human-pathogenicEchinococcus species in China.The one-step multiplex PCR assay was developed and evaluated for the specificity and sensitivity.A total of 73parasitic lesions and 41 fecal materials obtained from human and various animals collected in the clinic and the field were tested to assess the applicability of this method.Results:The multiplex PCR effectively detected the individual DNA from the targeted species and their random mixtures generating with distinguishable expected size of products.The detection limit of the assay for each of the three species was 5 pg/μl when they were tested separately.When DNA mixtures of the targeted species containing the same concentration were used as templates,the lowest amount of DNA which can be detected was 50 pg/μl,10 pg/μl and 5 pg/μl forE.granulosus s.s.,E.multilocularis,andE.canadensis respectively.No cross-reactivity was observed when DNA from eight genetically close species was used as control templates.The multiplex PCR identifications of all samples were in line with the original sequencing results except for those infected withE.shiquicus,which showed negative signals in the developed assay.Of all the tested stool materials,16 were previously found positive forEchinococcus by visual and microscopic examination.Among these 16 samples,13 were confirmed by the multiplex PCR,and the other three tested negative.Additionally,the multiplex PCR identified another 14 positive feces from the remained 25 stool samples which absence of worms.Conclusions:The developed multiplex PCR shows advantages in fast diagnosis and large-scale epidemiological investigation,which proven to be a promising tool utilized in clinic and surveillance system.Jing-Ye Shang Guang-Jia Zhang Sha Liao Yan Huang Wen-Jie Yu Wei He Guang-You Yang Tiao-Ying Li Xing-Wang Chen Bo Zhong Qian Wang Qi Wang Rui-Rui Li Hao Wang 2019Infectious Diseases of Poverty2019,8,4:11
10Ripening behavior of M_(23)C_6 carbides in P92 steel during aging at 800°C显示文摘The rapid coarsening of the M_(23)C_6 carbides has been held responsible for the creep fracture in 9-12Cr martensitic heat resistant steels.A commercial P92 steel was subjected to thermal aging at a high temperature of 800°C to investigate the ripening behavior of the M_(23)C_6 carbides.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and transmission electron microscopy(TEM)were employed to characterize the microstructure evolution,especially the ripening process of the M_(23)C_6 carbides.The new concept of the effective mean size,dependent on the critical radius,was introduced to correct the measured mean size and then the Ostwald theory was applied to describe the ripening behavior of the M_(23)C_6 carbides.The ripening of the M_(23)C_6 carbides was revealed to be grain boundary diffusion controlled.Xu Yang Bo Liao Fu-ren Xiao Wei Yan Yi-yin Shan Ke Yang 2017Journal of Iron and Steel Research(International)2017,24,8:10

12Risks faced by donors of right lobe for living donor liver transplantation显示文摘BACKGROUND:Because of the shortage of deceased donors with livers fit for transplantation,living donor liver transplantation(LDLT)is becoming an attractive alternative.Attention should be paid to the donors,especially to those of the right lobe.In this study,we evaluated the risks faced by donors of the right lobe for adult-to-adult LDLT.METHODS:The perioperative data from 105 consecutive living donors of the right lobe performed in West China Hospital from January 2002 to December 2007 were retrospectively studied.Preoperative evaluation included CT,MRCP,and intraoperative cholangiography,showing liver volume,hepatic vasculature and the biliary system.The standard liver volume(SLV)and the ratio of left lobe volume to SLV were calculated.The right lobe grafts were obtained by transecting the liver on the right side of the middle hepatic vein without inflow vascular occlusion,using an ultrasonic dissector.After operation the donors were monitored in the Intensive Care Unit for about three days.Each donor was followed up for at least 6 months.RESULTS:There was no donor mortality.Major complications occurred in 14 donors(13.3%),of whom 3 received conservative treatment,8 required invasive paracentesis,and 3 required further surgery.All donors were recovered well and resumed their previous occupations.CONCLUSIONS:Donors of the right lobe face low risks.The preoperative evaluation,especially evaluation of the volume of the remnant liver,should be exact.During the operation,the patency of the remnant hepatic vasculature and bile duct must be preserved,and the extent of injury to the remnant liver should be limited as much as possible.The detection and treatment of postoperative complications should be diligently performed.Ran, Shun Wen, Tian-Fu Yan, Lu-Nan Li, Bo Zeng, Yong Chen, Zhe-Yu Zhang, Yu Liao, Zhi-Xue Liang, Guan-Lin Li, Guo Zhang, Xian-Hua 2009Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Diseases International2009,8,6:8
13Novel Ru - K/Carbon Nanotubes Catalyst for Ammonia Synthesis显示文摘A novel ammonia synthesis catalyst, potassium-promoted ruthenium supported on carbon nanotubes, was developed. It was found that the Ru-K/carbon nanotubes catalyst had higher activity for ammonia synthesis (20.85 ml NH3/h/g-cat ) than the Ru-K/fullerenes (13.3 ml NH3/h/g-cat ) at atmospheric pressure and 623 K. The catalyst had activity even at 473 K. and had the highest activity (23.46 ml NH3/h/g-cat ) at 643 K. 15Effects of welding wire composition and welding process on the weld metal toughness of submerged arc welded pipeline steel显示文摘The effects of alloying elements in welding wires and submerged arc welding process on the microstructures and low-temperature impact toughness of weld metals have been investigated. The results indicate that the optimal contents of alloying elements in welding wires can improve the low-temperature impact toughness of weld metals because the proeutectoid ferrite and bainite formations can be suppressed,and the fraction of acicular ferrite increases. However,the contents of alloying elements need to vary along with the welding heat input. With the increase in welding heat input,the contents of alloying elements in welding wires need to be increased accordingly. 18Predictive effects of bilirubin on response of colorectal cancer to irinotecan-based chemotherapy显示文摘AIM: To examine the predictive effects of baseline serum bilirubin levels and UDP-glucuronosyltransferase(UGT) 1A1*28 polymorphism on response of colorectal cancer to irinotecan-based chemotherapy.METHODS: The present study was based on a prospective multicenter longitudinal trial of Chinese metastatic colorectal cancer(m CRC) patients treated with irinotecan-based chemotherapy(NCT01282658). Baseline serum bilirubin levels, including total bilirubin(TBil) and unconjugated bilirubin(UBil), were measured,and genotyping of UGT1A1*28 polymorphism was performed. Receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC) analysis was used to determine cutoff values of TBil and UBil. The TBil values were categorized into > 13.0 or ≤ 13.0 groups; the UBil values were categorized into > 4.1 or ≤ 4.1 groups. Combining the cutoff values of TBil and UBil, which was recorded as Co Bil, patients were classified into three groups. The classifier's performance of UGT1A1*28 and Co Bil for predicting treatment response was evaluated by ROC analysis. Associations between response and Co Bil or UGT1A1*28 polymorphism were estimated using simple and multiple logistic regression models. RESULTS: Among the 120 m CRC patients, the serum bilirubin level was significantly different between the UGT1A1*28 wild-type and mutant genotypes. Patients with the mutant genotype had an increased likelihood of a higher TBil(P = 0.018) and a higher UBil(P = 0.014) level compared with the wild-type genotype. Patients were stratified into three groups based on Co Bil. Group 1 was patients with TBil > 13.0 and UBil > 4.1; Group 2 was patients with TBil ≤ 13.0 and UBil > 4.1; and Group 3 was patients with TBil ≤ 13.0 and UBil ≤ 4.1. Patients in Group 3 had more than a 10-fold higher likelihood of having a response in the simple(OR = 11.250; 95%CI: 2.286-55.367; P = 0.003) and multiple(OR = 16.001; 95%CI: 2.802-91.371; P = 0.002) analyses compared with the Group 1 individuals. Patients carrying the UGT1A1*28(TA)7 allele were 4-fold less likely to present with a response compared with the individuals harboring a homozygous(TA)6 genotype in the simple(OR = 0.267; 95%CI: 0.100-0.709; P = 0.008) and multiple(OR = 0.244; 95%CI: 0.088-0.678; P = 0.007) analyses. Classifier's performance of Co Bil and UGT1A1*28 were comparable.CONCLUSION: Co Bil and UGT1A1*28 are both independent biomarkers for predicting the treatment response of m CRC patients to irinotecan-based chemotherapy. 20The Effect of High Temperature after Anthesis on Rice Quality and Starch Granule Structure of Endosperm显示文摘To ascertain the effect mechanism of high temperature after anthesis on rice quality,the experiment was conducted with two rice lines,the heat-tolerant line 996 and heat-sensitive line 4628,with high temperature and optimal temperature in the growth chamber to investigate the effect of high temperature stress after anthesis on rice appearance quality,milling quality,cooking and eating quality and starch granule structure of endosperm. The result showed that milled rice rate,head rice rate,amylose content and gel consistency of both lines decreased under high temperature stress after anthesis,while the ratio of grain length to width,chalky rate,chalkiness,protein content increased. Under high temperature treatments,gelatinization temperature,final viscosity,set back and peak time increased,breakdown decreased,Mg content and K content increased,Mg / K ratio decreased. Under same treatment,the extent of rice quality of heat tolerant line 996 affected by high temperature was lower than that of heat sensitive line 4628. Under high temperature stress after anthesis,starch granule arranged untightly,most of starch granules existed in the form of a single starch endosperm,refractive index decreased,transparency reduced,and led to the formation of chalk. Under high temperature stress after anthesis,the increase of protein content,the decrease of Mg / K,the changes of rice RVA profile characteristics and starch granule structure of endosperm could be the main reason for the decrease of rice cooking and eating quality and appearance quality.Zhang Guilian Liao Bin Li Bo Cai Zhihuan 2016Meteorological and Environmental Research2016,7,3:6
