Insight-HXMT observations of the first binary neutron star merger GW170817显示文摘Finding the electromagnetic(EM) counterpart of binary compact star merger, especially the binary neutron star(BNS) merger,is critically important for gravitational wave(GW) astronomy, cosmology and fundamental physics. On Aug. 17, 2017,Advanced LIGO and Fermi/GBM independently triggered the first BNS merger, GW170817, and its high energy EM counterpart,GRB 170817 A, respectively, resulting in a global observation campaign covering gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, optical, IR, radio as well as neutrinos. The High Energy X-ray telescope(HE) onboard Insight-HXMT(Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope) is the unique high-energy gamma-ray telescope that monitored the entire GW localization area and especially the optical counterpart(SSS17 a/AT2017 gfo) with very large collection area(~1000 cm^2) and microsecond time resolution in 0.2-5 MeV. In addition,Insight-HXMT quickly implemented a Target of Opportunity(ToO) observation to scan the GW localization area for potential X-ray emission from the GW source. Although Insight-HXMT did not detect any significant high energy(0.2-5 MeV) radiation from GW170817, its observation helped to confirm the unexpected weak and soft nature of GRB 170817 A. Meanwhile,Insight-HXMT/HE provides one of the most stringent constraints(~10^(-7) to 10^(-6) erg/cm^2/s) for both GRB170817 A and any other possible precursor or extended emissions in 0.2-5 MeV, which help us to better understand the properties of EM radiation from this BNS merger. Therefore the observation of Insight-HXMT constitutes an important chapter in the full context of multi-wavelength and multi-messenger observation of this historical GW event. | TiPei Li ShaoLin Xiong ShuangNan Zhang FangJun Lu LiMing Song XueLei Cao Zhi Chang Gang Chen Li Chen TianXiang Chen Yong Chen YiBao Chen YuPeng Chen Wei Cui WeiWei Cui JingKang Deng YongWei Dong YuanYuan Du MinXue Fu GuanHua Gao He Gao Min Gao MingYu Ge YuDong Gu Ju Guan ChengCheng Guo DaWei Han Wei Hu Yue Huang Jia Huo ShuMei Jia LuHua Jiang WeiChun Jiang Jing Jin YongJie Jin Bing Li ChengKui Li Gang Li MaoShun Li Wei Li Xian Li XiaoBo Li XuFang Li YanGuo Li ZiJian Li ZhengWei Li XiaoHua Liang JinYuan Liao CongZhan Liu GuoQing Liu HongWei Liu ShaoZhen Liu XiaoJing Liu Yuan Liu YiNong Liu Bo Lu XueFeng Lu Tao Luo Xiang Ma Bin Meng Yi Nang JianYin Nie Ge OU JinLu Qu Na Sai Liang Sun Yin Tan Lian Tao WenHui Tao YouLi Tuo GuoFeng Wang HuanYu Wang Juan Wang WenShuai Wang YuSa Wang XiangYang Wen BoBing WU Mei Wu GuangCheng Xiao He Xu YuPeng Xu LinLi Yan JiaWei Yang Sheng Yang YanJi Yang AiMei Zhang ChunLei Zhang ChengMo Zhang Fan Zhang HongMei Zhang Juan Zhang Qiang Zhang Shu Zhang Tong Zhang Wei Zhang WanChang Zhang WenZhao Zhang Yi Zhang Yue Zhang YiFei Zhang YongJie Zhang Zhao Zhang ZiLiang Zhang HaiSheng Zhao JianLing Zhao XiaoFan Zhao ShiJie Zheng Yue Zhu YuXuan Zhu ChangLin Zou | 2018 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2018,61,3: | 12
The Low Energy X-ray telescope (LE) onboard the Insight-HXMT astronomy satellite显示文摘The Low Energy X-ray telescope(LE) is one of the three main instruments of the Insight-Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope(Insight-HXMT). It is equipped with Swept Charge Device(SCD) sensor arrays with a total geometrical area of 384 cm^2 and an energy band from 0.7 to 13 ke V. In order to evaluate the particle induced X-ray background and the cosmic X-ray background simultaneously, LE adopts collimators to define four types of Field Of Views(FOVs), i.e., 1.6°×6°, 4°×6°, 50°-60°×2°-6 oand the blocked ones which block the X-ray by an aluminum cover. LE is constituted of three detector boxes(LEDs) and an electric control box(LEB) and achieves a good energy resolution of 140 e V@5.9 ke V, an excellent time resolution of 0.98 ms, as well as an extremely low pileup(<1%@18000 cts/s). Detailed performance tests and calibration on the ground have been performed, including energy-channel relation, energy response, detection efficiency and time response. | Yong Chen WeiWei Cui Wei Li Juan Wang YuPeng Xu FangJun Lul YuSa Wang TianXiang Chen DaWei Han Wei Hu Yi Zhang Jia Huo YanJi Yang MaoShun Li Bo Lu ZiLiang Zhang TiPei Li ShuangNan Zhang ShaoLin Xiong Shu Zhang RongFeng Xue XiaoFan Zhao Yue Zhu YuXuan Zhu HongWei Liu YiJung Yang Fan Zhang | 2020 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2020,63,4: | 8
Prediction of stable BC_(3)N_(2)monolayer from first-principles calculations:Stoichiometry, crystal structure, electronic and adsorption properties显示文摘In this paper,a novel BC_(3)N_(2)monolayer has been found with a graphene-like structure using the developed particle swarm optimization algorithm in combination with ab initio calculations. The predicted structure meets the thermodynamical, dynamical, and mechanical stability requirements.Interestingly, the BC_(3)N_(2)plane shows a metallic character.Importantly,BC_(3)N_(2)has an in-plane stiffness comparable to that of graphene. We have also investigated the adsorption characteristics of CO_(2)on pristine monolayer and Mo functionalized monolayer using density functional theory.Subsequently, electronic structures of the interacting systems(CO_(2)molecule and substrates)have been preliminarily explored. The results show that Mo/BC_(3)N_(2)has a stronger adsorption capacity towards CO_(2)comparing with the pristine one, which can provide a reference for the further study of the CO_(2)reduction mechanism on the transition metal-functionalized surface as well as the new catalyst’s design. | Jiahui Yu Chaozheng He Chunying Pu Ling Fu Dawei Zhou Kun Xie Jinrong Huo Chenxu Zhao Lingmin Yu | 2021 | Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,10: | 2

A Novel Flux-weakening Control Method with Quadrature Voltage Constrain for Electrolytic Capacitorless PMSM Drives显示文摘In electrolytic capacitorless permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) drives, the DC-link voltage will fluctuate in a wide range due to the use of slim film capacitor. When the flux-weakening current is lower than-ψf/Ld during the high speed operation, the flux-weakening control loop will transform to a positive feedback mode, which means the reduction of flux-weakening current will lead to the acceleration of the voltage saturation, thus the whole system will be unstable. In order to solve this issue, this paper proposes a novel flux-weakening method for electrolytic capacitorless motor drives to maintain a negative feedback characteristic of the control loop during high speed operation. Based on the analysis of the instability mechanism in flux-weakening region, a quadrature voltage constrain mechanism is constructed to stabilize the system.Meanwhile, the parameters of the controller are theoretically designed for easier industrial application. The proposed algorithm is implemented on a 1.5 kW electrolytic capacitorless PMSM drive to verify the effectiveness of the flux-weakening performance. | Junya Huo Dawei Ding Zekun Ren Gaolin Wang Nannan Zhao Lianghong Zhu Dianguo Xu | 2022 | CES Transactions on Electrical Machines and Systems2022,6,3: | 1
Establishment of a humanized mouse model using steady-state peripheral blood-derived hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells facilitates screening of cancer-targeted T-cell repertoires显示文摘Background:Cancer-targeted T-cell receptor T(TCR-T)cells hold promise in treating cancers such as hematological malignancies and breast cancers. However, approaches to obtain cancer-reactive TCR-T cells have been unsuccessful. Methods:Here,we developed a novel strategy to screen for cancer-targeted TCR-T cells using a special humanized mouse model with person-specific immune fingerprints.Rare steady-state circulating hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells were expanded via three-dimensional culture of steady-state peripheral blood mononuclear cells, and then the expanded cells were applied to establish humanized mice. The human immune system was evaluated according to the kinetics of dendritic cells,monocytes,T-cell subsets, and cytokines. To fully stimulate the immune response and to obtain B-cell precursor NAML-6-and triple-negative breast cancer MDA-MB-231-targeted TCR-T cells,we used the inactivated cells above to treat humanized mice twice a day every 7 days. Then, human T cells were processed for TCRβ-chain(TRB)sequencing analysis. After the repertoires had been constructed, features such as the fraction, diversity, and immune signature were investigated. Results:The results demonstrated an increase in diversity and clonality of T cells after treatment. The preferential usage and features of TRBV,TRBJ,and the V–J combination were also changed. The stress also induced highly clonal Science and Technology,Grant/Award Number:2021C03010;Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation of China,Grant/Award Numbers:LTGY24H080003,LY21H080004 expansion.Tumor burden and survival analysis demonstrated that stress induction could significantly inhibit the growth of subsequently transfused live tumor cells and prolong the survival of the humanized mice. Conclusions:We constructed a personalized humanized mouse model to screen cancer-targeted TCR-T pools. Our platform provides an effective source of cancer-targeted TCR-T cells and allows for the design of patient-specific engineered T cells. It therefore has the potential to greatly benefit cancer treatment. | Yulin Xu Wei Shan Qian Luo Meng Zhang Dawei Huo Yijin Chen Honghu Li Yishan Ye Xiaohong Yu Yi Luo He Huang | 2024 | Cancer Innovation2024,3,3: | 0

Genomic Recombination of SARS-CoV-2 Subvariants BA.5.2.48 and BF.7.14—China,2023显示文摘Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),a single-stranded positive RNA virus, exhibits a high rate of genome mutation and recombination(1–2).Recombinant strains of this virus could potentially affect their binding ability to the ACE2 receptor, which may in turn diminish the protection offered by vaccines and neutralizing antibodies.Notably, the Delta and Omicron recombinations have been collectively referred to as Deltacron(3).Furthermore,XBB.1.5,a recombinant strain resulting from the combination of the BA.2 sublineages BA.2.10.1 and BA.2.75,has demonstrated enhanced transmissibility(4).As such,it is imperative to monitor the genome recombination of SARS-CoV-2 in order to provide valuable insights regarding epidemic and transmission trends. | Zhongxian Zhang Han Li Hongxia Ma Wenling Wang Dawei Gao Fei Ye Weibang Huo Yuda Chen Changcheng Wu Wenjie Tan | 2023 | China CDC weekly2023,5,14: | 0
Efficiently coupled glucose oxidation for high-value D-glucaric acid with ultradurable hydrogen via Mn(III)in acidic solution显示文摘The electrooxidation of the alcohol and aldehyde molecules instead of water coupled with H2 production has been proven to be effective for producing high-value fine chemicals under alkaline conditions. It is also noteworthy that under acidic conditions, the stability of non-noble metal water oxidation catalysts remains a great challenge due to the lattice oxygen mechanism.Hence,we coupled the biomass-derived glucose oxidation for high-value D-glucaric acid(GRA)with ultra-durable hydrogen in acid solution over a Yb-MnO_(2)catalyst.The Mn^(3+)regulated by Yb atoms doped in MnO_(2)can effectively optimize the adsorption and desorption processes of the alcohol and aldehyde group and improve the intrinsic activity but cannot for H2O.The catalyst exhibited extremely high activity and stability after 50 h for glucose oxidation, inhibiting the lattice oxygen process and MnO4−formation,while the activity was quickly lost within 0.5 h for water oxidation.Density functional theory(DFT)calculations further demonstrated that glucose oxidation reaction proceeds preferentially due to the oxidation of aldehyde group with lower adsorption-free energy(−0.4 eV)than water(ΔG>0 eV),avoiding the lattice oxygen mechanism. This work suggests that biomass-derived glucose oxidation not only provides a cost-effective approach for high-value chemicals, but also shows an extremely potential as an alternative to acidic oxygen evolution reaction(OER)for ultradurable H2 production. | Junhua Li Yi Jiang Xu Zhang Yidan Huo Fanglin Du Yongxiao Tuo Zhiyan Guo Dawei Chen Shenghua Chen | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,8: | 0
In-orbit performance of LE onboard Insight-HXMT in the first 5 years显示文摘Purpose The low-energy X-ray telescope(LE)is a main instrument of the Insight-HXMT mission and consists of 96 swept charge devices covering the 1–10 keV energy band. The energy gain and resolution are continuously calibrated by analyzing Cassiopeia A(Cas A)and blank sky data, while the effective areas are also calibrated with the observations of the Crab Nebula. In this paper,we present the evolution of the in-orbit performances of LE in the first 5 years since launch. Methods The Insight-HXMT data analysis software package(HXMTDAS)is utilized to extract the spectra of Cas A,blank sky,and Crab Nebula using different good time interval selections. We fit a model with a power-law continuum and several Gaussian lines to different ranges of Cas A and blank sky spectra to get peak energies of their lines through xspec. After updating the energy gain calibration in CALibration DataBase(CALDB),we rerun the Cas A data to obtain the energy resolution. An empirical function is used to modify the simulated effective areas so that the background-subtracted spectrum of the Crab Nebula can best match the standard model of the Crab Nebula. Results The energy gain, resolution, and effective areas are calibrated every month. The corresponding calibration results are duly updated in CALDB,which can be downloaded and used for the analysis of Insight-HXMT data.Simultaneous observations with NuSTAR and NICER can also be used to verify our derived results. Conclusion LE is a well-calibrated X-ray telescope working in 1–10 keV band. The uncertainty of LE gain is less than 20eV in 2–9 keV band, and the uncertainty of LE resolution is less than 15eV.The systematic errors of LE,compared to the model of the Crab Nebula, are lower than 1.5%in 1–10 keV. | Xiaobo Li Yong Chen Liming Song Weiwei Cui Wei Li Juan Wang Shuang-Nan Zhang Fangjun Lu Yupeng Xu Haisheng Zhao Mingyu Ge Youli Tuo Yusa Wang Tianxiang Chen Dawei Han Jia Huo Yanji Yang Maoshun Li Ziliang Zhang Yuxuan Zhu Xiaofan Zhao | 2023 | Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2023,7,1: | 0
Rethinking the Power Shortage of China in 2011显示文摘As the opening year of the 'Twelfth Five-Year Plan,' driven by the steady and fast economic growth, the year of 2011 saw China's rising demand for electricity, resulting in regional power shortages. Subjected to multiple factors such as the weather conditions, the contradictions between coal supply and power generation and the structural problems in the power system, power supply shortage across the nation became increasingly critical. At the same time, the Northeast and Northwest China, plus Inner Mongolia, often experienced power generation surplus and difficulties in sending power to other regions. This paper reviews the overall situation of the national electric power supply in 2011, elaborates on the current contradictions in the power demand and supply and presents an in-depth analysis of causes and corresponding countermeasures. | Qing Lei Huo Yalin Li Dawei | 2012 | Electricity2012,23,1: | 0
