| 1 | Emergence and prevalence of naturally occurring lower virulent African swine fever viruses in domestic pigs in China in 2020显示文摘African swine fever virus(ASFV)has been circulating in China for more than two years,and it is not clear whether the biological properties of the virus have changed.Here,we report on our surveillance of ASFVs in seven provinces of China,from June to December,2020.A total of 22 viruses were isolated and characterized as genotype II ASFVs,with mutations,deletions,insertions,or short-fragment replacement occurring in all isolates compared with Pig/HLJ/2018(HLJ/18),the earliest isolate in China.Eleven isolates had four different types of natural mutations or deletion in the EP402R gene and displayed a nonhemadsorbing(non-HAD)phenotype.Four isolates were tested for virulence in pigs;two were found to be as highly lethal as HLJ/18.However,two non-HAD isolates showed lower virulence but were highly transmissible;infection with 106 TCID50 dose was partially lethal and caused acute or sub-acute disease,whereas 103 TCID50 dose caused non-lethal,sub-acute or chronic disease,and persistent infection.The emergence of lower virulent natural mutants brings greater difficulty to the early diagnosis of ASF and creates new challenges for ASFV control. | Encheng Sun Zhenjiang Zhang Zilong Wang Xijun He Xianfeng Zhang Lulu Wang Wenqing Wang Lianyu Huang Fei Xi Haoyue Huangfu Ghebremedhin Tsegay Hong Huo Jianhong Sun Zhijun Tian Wei Xia Xuewu Yu Fang Li Renqiang Liu Yuntao Guan Dongming Zhao Zhigao Bu | 2021 | Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,5: | 46 |

| 3 | Channel Measurement and Path Loss Modeling from 220 GHz to 330 GHz for 6G Wireless Communications显示文摘Terahertz(THz)communication has been envisioned as a key enabling technology for sixthgeneration(6G).In this paper,we present an extensive THz channel measurement campaign for 6G wireless communications from 220 GHz to 330 GHz.Furthermore,the path loss is analyzed and modeled by using two single-frequency path loss models and a multiplefrequencies path loss model.It is found that at most frequency points,the measured path loss is larger than that in the free space.But at around 310 GHz,the propagation attenuation is relatively weaker compared to that in the free space.Also,the frequency dependence of path loss is observed and the frequency exponent of the multiple-frequencies path loss model is 2.1.Moreover,the cellular performance of THz communication systems is investigated by using the obtained path loss model.Simulation results indicate that the current inter-site distance(ISD)for the indoor scenario is too small for THz communications.Furthermore,the tremendous capacity gain can be obtained by using THz bands compared to using microwave bands and millimeter wave bands.Generally,this work can give an insight into the design and optimization of THz communication systems for 6G. | Pan Tang Jianhua Zhang Haoyu Tian Zhaowei Chang Jun Men Yuxiang Zhang Lei Tian Liang Xia Qixing Wang Jingsuo He | 2021 | China Communications2021,18,5: | 7 |
| 4 | Near-field postseismic deformation along the rupture of 2008 Wenchuan earthquake and its implications显示文摘At first time,we observed the postseismic deformation,which actually is a kind of creep after slip,along the intra-plate active fault associated with the Wenchuan earthquake.To understand the near-field postseismic deformation following 2008 Wenchuan earthquake in Sichuan Province of China,we compared the fault scarp or flexure scarp profiles measured in different campaigns.Our result shows that among total 19 observation sites,on 13 sites (68% of 19) fault scarps fall back with an average about 9.7% decrease;on 5 sites (26% of 19) fault scarps present no change;and on one site (6% of 19) fault scarp continues to uplift with 12.8% increase.The variety of fault scarp we observed results mainly from near-field postseismic deformation,after slip occurred in shallow.Based on our observations,the following are demonstrated: except for the southwestern end near Yingxiu Town where coseismic slip deficit and some elastic energy residue exist there,fall back (68%) or non-changing (26%) of fault scarp shows energy balance or energy deficit due to overthrust,implying that the likelihood of occurrence of strong aftershocks of ≥ M7 becomes very small in these energy-released areas.Moreover,we suggest that a minimum of 10% error due to near-field postseismic deformation should be considered when evaluating the magnitude of historic and paleoearthquake or slip rate based on the fault scarp displacement,even though the error caused by erosion has been accounted already. | HE HongLin WEI ZhanYu SHI Feng SUN HaoYue | 2010 | Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,23: | 3 |
| 5 | Artificial Tactile Sense Technique for Predicting Beef Tenderness Based on FS Pressure Sensor显示文摘We present a rapid system for predicting beef tenderness by mimicking the human tactile sense. The detection system includesa FS pressure sensor, a power supply conversion circuit, a signal amplifier and a box in which the sample is mounted. Asample of raw Longissimus dorsi (LD) muscle is placed in the measuring box; then a rod connected to the pressure sensor ispressed into the beef sample to a given depth; the reaction force of the beef sample is measured and used to predict the tenderness.Sensory evaluation and Warner-Bratzler Shear Force (WBSF) evaluation of samples from the same LD muscle are usedfor comparison. | 10 | Simultaneous adsorption of As(Ⅲ) and Pb(Ⅱ) by the iron-sulfur codoped biochar composite:Competitive and synergistic effects显示文摘Simultaneous elimination of As(Ⅲ) and Pb(Ⅱ) from wastewater is still a great challenge.In this work,an iron-sulfur codoped biochar (Fe/S-BC) was successfully fabricated in a simplified way and was applied to the remediate the co-pollution of As(Ⅲ) and Pb(Ⅱ).The positive enthalpy indicated that the adsorption in As-Pb co-pollution was an endothermic reaction.The mechanism of As(Ⅲ) removal could be illustrated by surface complexation,oxidation and precipitation.In addition to precipitation and complexation,the elimination mechanism of Pb(Ⅱ) also contained ion exchange and electrostatic interactions.Competitive and synergistic effects existed simultaneously in the co-contamination system.The suppression of As(Ⅲ) was ascribed to competitive complexation of the two metals on Fe/S-BC,while the synergy of Pb(Ⅱ) was attributed to the formation of the PbFe2(AsO_(4))2(OH)2.Batch experiments revealed that Fe/S-BC had outstanding ability to remove As(Ⅲ) and Pb(Ⅱ),regardless of pH dependency and interference by various coexisting ions.The maximum adsorption capacities of the Fe/S-BC for As(Ⅲ) and Pb(Ⅱ) were 91.2 mg/g and 631.7 mg/g,respectively.Fe/S-BC could be treated as a novel candidate for the elimination of As(Ⅲ)-Pb(Ⅱ) combined pollution. | Yijun Chen Qintie Lin Xiaoqing Wen Jin He Haoyu Luo Quanfa Zhong Libin Wu Jiaqi Li | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,3: | 1 |
| 11 | An intravenous clarithromycin lipid emulsion with a high drug loading, H-bonding and a hydrogen-bonded ion pair complex exhibiting excellent antibacterial activity显示文摘The aim of this study was to develop an intravenous clarithromycin lipid emulsion(CLE)with good stability and excellent antibacterial activity. The CLE was prepared by the thinfilm dispersed homogenization method. The interaction between clarithromycin(CLA) and cholesteryl hemisuccinate(CHEMS) was confirmed by DSC, FT-IR and^1H NMR analysis. The interfacial drug loading, thermal sterilization, freeze–thaw stability, and in vitro and in vivo antibacterial activity were investigated systematically. DSC, FT-IR and^1H NMR spectra showed that CHEMS(CLA: CHEMS, M ratio 1:2) could interact with CLA through H-bonding and a hydrogen-bonded ion pair. The CHEMS was found necessary to maintain the stability of CLE.Ultracentrifugation showed that almost 88% CLA could be loaded into the interfacial layer.The optimized CLE formulation could withstand autoclaving at 121 °C for 10 min and remain stable after three freeze–thaw cycles. The in vitro susceptibility test revealed that the CLA–CHEMS ion-pair and CLE have similar activity to the parent drug against many different bacterial strains. The in vivo antibacterial activity showed that the ED50 of intravenous CLE was markedly lower than that of CLA solution administrated orally. | 16 | Dynamic simulation of China’s water-grain-meat system and evaluation of its support capability based on water footprint theory显示文摘The supply capacity of water resources,food and meat products is of great importance to the people’s livelihood of a country.In recent years,although China has introduced many policies on water resources and grain production,the current situation of China’s food self-sufficiency and imbalance between supply and demand of water resources has not been fundamentally changed.Food security and water security are facing a serious situation.This paper takes the water footprint as the connection point,and combines the water food meat system with mutual influence,mutual causation and dynamic feedback into a composite system.At the same time,the simulation model of the composite system is established by using system dynamics,and the dynamic simulation of water grain meat in China from 2000 to 2050 is carried out to explore the current situation and future development trend of China’s water,grain and meat supply capacity.It was found that during the simulated period,the agricultural blue-green water footprint on the demand side would continue to dominate,followed by the gray water footprint.The blue water footprint on the supply side remained stable,whereas the green water footprint and the circulating water footprint showed an upward trend.According to the contemporary social and economic development and the model of water resources in China,there will be no meat shortage in the future,but issues have been found in the ability to guarantee water and food supply.The root of China’s food support capability problem is excessive grain consumption due to meat production,whereas the cause of the water support capability problem is the slow development of the water conservation.Food support capability issues can be solved by regulating the meat output of livestock farming and fishery operations,reducing excess production capacity,and stabilizing the meat supply and demand.To solve the water support capability issue,China should focus on accelerating the pace of agricultural water-conservation development,improving the sewage treatment system,building rainwater-collection projects,and promoting the research and development of water recycling technology.This study provides support for optimizing the structures of the meat and grain industries and the policy formulation of the efficient use of water resources in China. | Qiuxiang Jiang Haoyu Liao Xingtao Ouyang Qiang Fu Xiaolong He Yunxing Wu Zilong Wang | 2023 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2023,16,5: | 0 |
| 17 | A chromosome-level genome assembly provides insights into Cornus wilsoniana evolution, oil biosynthesis, and floral bud development显示文摘Cornus wilsoniana W.is a woody oil plant with high oil content and strong hypolipidemic effects,making it a valuable species for medicinal,landscaping,and ecological purposes in China.To advance genetic research on this species,we employed PacBio together with Hi-C data to create a draft genome assembly for C.wilsoniana.Based on an 11-chromosome anchored chromosome-level assembly,the estimated genome size was determined to be 843.51 Mb.The N50 contig size and N50 scaffold size were calculated to be 4.49 and 78.00 Mb,respectively.Furthermore,30474 protein-coding genes were annotated.Comparative genomics analysis revealed that C.wilsoniana diverged from its closest species∼12.46 million years ago(Mya).Furthermore,the divergence between Cornaceae and Nyssaceae occurred>62.22 Mya.We also found evidence of whole-genome duplication events and whole-genome triplicationγ,occurring at∼44.90 and 115.86 Mya.We further inferred the origins of chromosomes,which sheds light on the complex evolutionary history of the karyotype of C.wilsoniana.Through transcriptional and metabolic analysis,we identified two FAD2 homologous genes that may play a crucial role in controlling the oleic to linoleic acid ratio.We further investigated the correlation between metabolites and genes and identified 33 MADS-TF homologous genes that may affect f lower morphology in C.wilsoniana.Overall,this study lays the groundwork for future research aimed at identifying the genetic basis of crucial traits in C.wilsoniana. | Zhenxiang He Haoyu Chao Xinkai Zhou Qingyang Ni Yueming Hu Ranran Yu Minghuai Wang Changzhu Li Jingzhen Chen Yunzhu Chen Yong Chen Chunyi Cui Liangbo Zhang Ming Chen Dijun Chen | 2023 | Horticulture Research2023,10,11: | 0 |
| 18 | The effects of climate warming on microbe-mediated mechanisms of sediment carbon emission显示文摘Due to significant differences in biotic and abiotic properties of soils compared to those of sediments,the predicted underlying microbe-mediated mechanisms of soil carbon emissions in response to warming may not be applicable for estimating similar emissions from inlandwater sediments.We addressed this issue by incubating different types of sediments,(including lake,small river,and pond sediments)collected from 36 sites across the Yangtze River basin,under short-term experimentalwarming to explore the effects of climatewarming on sediment carbon emission and the underlying microbe-mediated mechanisms.Our results indicated that under climate warming Cc emissions were affected more than CH_(4) emissions,and that pond sediments may yield a greater relative contribution of CO_(2) to total carbon emissions than lake and river sediments.Warming-induced CO_(2) and CH_(4) increases involve different microbe-mediated mechanisms;Warming-induced sediment CO_(2) emissions were predicted to be directly positively driven by microbial community network modularity,which was significantly negatively affected by the quality and quantity of organic carbon and warming-induced variations in dissolved oxygen,Conversely,warminginduced sediment CH_(4) emissionswere predicted to be directly positively driven bymicrobial community network complexity,which was significantly negatively affected by warminginduced variations in pH.Our findings suggest that biotic and abiotic drivers for sediment CO_(2) and CH_(4) emissions in response to climate warming should be considered separately when predicting sediment organic carbon decomposition dynamics resulting from climate change. | Weiwei Lü Haoyu Ren Wanchang Ding He Li Xin Yao Xia Jiang | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,7: | 0 |

Existing procedures still display a relatively smallrate of success. This paper aims to investigate numerically the effect of bifurcation lesions with different structureson the dynamics of blood flow and related temperature. The problem geometry is parametrically varied by changing the bifurcation angle and radius. A finite volume method is used to simulate the three-dimensional flow. Theeffects induced by the structure of the stenosis, the artery bifurcation angle and radius, and the inlet velocity ofblood are discussed in terms of flow pattern, pressure distribution, and shear stress at the blood wall. The heattransfer from the solid tissue is also determined for different stenosis configurations.
