1Preparation of special silicon steel grade MgO from hydromagnesite显示文摘A preparation technology of MgO powder used in special silicon steel from hydromagnesite mineral has been developed. The preparation technology includes the following steps: (1) calcining the hydromagnesite at 700-750°C for 1.5-2 h; (2) hydrating the calcined hydromagnesite to be slurry containing the solid-liquid ratio of 15-20 g?L?1; (3) acquiring Mg(HCO3)2 solution by carbonating the slurry, the carbonation temperature, CO2 pressure, and end point PH value of carbonation are less than 40°C, 0.4-0.6 MPa, and 7 respectively during the carbonation process; (4) preparing precipitated basic magnesium carbonate by thermally decomposing the Mg(HCO3)2 solution at 90-100°C; (5) obtaining the MgO product by calcining the precipitated basic magnesium carbonate at 850-950°C for 30-60 min, and adopting flowing nitrogen during the cooling process. 3Bruceine D inhibits HIF-1α-mediated glucose metabolism in hepatocellular carcinoma by blocking ICAT/β-catenin interaction显示文摘Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths,characterized by highly hypoxic tumor microenvironment.Hypoxia-inducible factor-1α(HIF-1α)is a major regulator involved in cellular response to changes of oxygen levels,supporting the adaptation of tumor cells to hypoxia.Bruceine D(BD)is an isolated natural quassinoid with multiple anti-cancer effects.Here,we identified BD could significantly inhibit the HIF-1α expression and its subsequently mediated HCC cell metabolism.Using biophysical proteomics approaches,we identified inhibitor of β-catenin and T-cell factor(ICAT)as the functional target of BD.By targeting ICAT,BD disrupted the interaction of bcatenin and ICAT,and promoted β-catenin degradation,which in turn induced the decrease of HIF-1α expression.Furthermore,BD could inhibit HCC cells proliferation and tumor growth in vivo,and knockdown of ICAT substantially increased resistance to BD treatment in vitro.Our data highlight the potential of BD as a modulator of β-catenin/HIF-1α axis mediated HCC metabolism.Rui Huang Lijun Zhang Jinmei Jin Yudong Zhou Hongwei Zhang Chao Lv Dong Lu Ye Wu Hong Zhang Sanhong Liu Hongzhuan Chen Xin Luan Weidong Zhang 2021Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,11:4
4Novel foaming agent used in preparation process of aluminum foams显示文摘The performances of a novel foaming agent used in the preparation process of aluminum foams were investigated, and the effects of some factors, such as addition of the foaming agent, foaming temperature on the porosity, and appearance of aluminum foams were also discussed. Experimental results show that the novel foaming agent has a wide decomposition temperature range and a mild decomposed rate; the foaming agent has the ability to enhance the viscosity of aluminum melt, as a result, an extra viscosifier such as Ca or SiCp is unnecessary while using this foaming agent; the bubble-free zone in material decreases and the foaming effi-ciency increases with the increase of foaming agent; the bubble-free zone disappears and the foaming efficiency is near 100% when the addition of foaming agent is more than 1.4wt%; the porosity of the aluminum foam increases with the increase of foaming agent when the addition of foaming agent is less than 2.2wt%.Xiangyang Zhou Xiquan Liu Jie Li Hongzhuan Liu 2008Journal of University of Science and Technology Beijing2008,15,6:4

6Muscarinic acetylcholine receptor modulators derived from natural toxins and diverse interaction modes显示文摘Muscarinic acetylcholine receptors(mAChRs)play crucial roles in various physiological functions and pathophysiological processes.Acetylcholine(ACh),as a classical ligand and one of the pivotal neurotransmitters,serves as a prototype for the elucidation of molecular interaction and the development of mimicked and antagonized agents.With the advances in medicinal chemistry and structural biology,more and more mAChRs modulators derived from natural toxins have been identified.Based on the chemical structures and the receptor-ligand interaction modes,these mAChRs modulators can be divided into orthosteric modulators,allosteric modulators and other modulators.Moreover,allosteric modulators can be further divided into three groups:alcuronium-like modulators,staurosporine-like modulators,and phlegmarine-like modulators.In this review,we focus on various mAChRs modulators derived from natural toxins on the basis of the receptor-ligand interaction modes.The understanding of the affinity,the intrinsic efficacy,and the selectivity of mAChRs modulators may lead to the discovery of new drug leads for the treatment of diseases related to mAChRs.XU JianRong WANG Hao CHEN HongZhuan 2013Science China Chemistry2013,56,10:3

11Nanopolyphenol rejuvenates microglial surveillance of multiple misfolded proteins through metabolic reprogramming显示文摘Microglial surveillance plays an essential role in clearing misfolded proteins such as amyloid-beta,tau,andα-synuclein aggregates in neurodegenerative diseases.However,due to the complex structure and ambiguous pathogenic species of the misfolded proteins,a universal approach to remove the misfolded proteins remains unavailable.Here,we found that a polyphenol,α-mangostin,reprogrammed metabolism in the disease-associated microglia through shifting glycolysis to oxidative phosphorylation,which holistically rejuvenated microglial surveillance capacity to enhance microglial phagocytosis and autophagy-mediated degradation of multiple misfolded proteins.Nanoformulation ofα-mangostin efficiently deliveredα-mangostin to microglia,relieved the reactive status and rejuvenated the misfolded-proteins clearance capacity of microglia,which thus impressively relieved the neuropathological changes in both Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease model mice.These findings provide direct evidences for the concept of rejuvenating microglial surveillance of multiple misfolded proteins through metabolic reprogramming,and demonstrate nanoformulatedα-mangostin as a potential and universal therapy against neurodegenerative diseases.Dayuan Wang Xiao Gu Xinyi Ma Jun Chen Qizhi Zhang Zhihua Yu Juan Li Meng Hu Xiaofang Tan Yuyun Tang Jianrong Xu Minjun Xu Qingxiang Song Huahua Song Gan Jiang Zaiming Tang Xiaoling Gao Hongzhuan Chen 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,2:1
