1Erianin,a novel dibenzyl compound in Dendrobium extract,inhibits lung cancer cell growth and migration via calcium/calmodulin-dependent ferroptosis显示文摘Ferroptosis,a novel form of programmed cell death,is characterized by iron-dependent lipid peroxidation and has been shown to be involved in multiple diseases,including cancer.Stimulating ferroptosis in cancer cells may be a potential strategy for cancer therapy.Therefore,ferroptosis-inducing drugs are attracting more attention for cancer treatment.Here,we showed that erianin,a natural product isolated from Dendrobium chrysotoxum Lindl,exerted its anticancer activity by inducing cell death and inhibiting cell migration in lung cancer cells.Subsequently,we demonstrated for the first time that erianin induced ferroptotic cell death in lung cancer cells,which was accompanied by ROS accumulation,lipid peroxidation,and GSH depletion.The ferroptosis inhibitors Fer-1 and Lip-1 but not Z-VAD-FMK,CQ,or necrostatin-1 rescued erianin-induced cell death,indicating that ferroptosis contributed to erianin-induced cell death.Furthermore,we demonstrated that Ca^(2+)/CaM signaling was a critical mediator of erianin-induced ferroptosis and that blockade of this signaling significantly rescued cell death induced by erianin treatment by suppressing ferroptosis.Taken together,our data suggest that the natural product erianin exerts its anticancer effects by inducing Ca^(2+)/CaMdependent ferroptosis and inhibiting cell migration,and erianin will hopefully serve as a prospective compound for lung cancer treatment.Peng Chen Qibiao Wu Jiao Feng Lili Yan Yitian Sun Shuiping Liu Yu Xiang Mingming Zhang Ting Pan Xiaying Chen Ting Duan Lijuan Zhai Bingtao Zhai Wengang Wang Ruonan Zhang Bi Chen Xuemeng Han Yicong Li Liuxi Chen Ying Liu Xingxing Huang Ting Jin Wenzheng Zhang Hong Luo Xiaohui Chen Yongqiang Li Qiujie Li Guohua Li Qin Zhang Lvjia Zhuo Zuyi Yang Huifen Tang Tian Xie Xiaoping Ouyang Xinbing Sui 2020Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1:42
2Temperature field distribution of burnt surrounding rock in UCG stope显示文摘In order to study temperature field distribution in burnt surrounding rock and to determine ranges of burnt surrounding rock, coal-wall coking cycle and heat influence in the underground coal gasification(UCG) stope, based on the Laplace transform and inversion formula, we studied the temperature analytical solution of one-dimensional unsteady heat conduction for multi-layer overlying strata under the first and the forth kinds of boundary conditions, and we also carried out a numerical simulation of twodimensional unsteady heat conduction by the COMSOL multiphysics. The results show that when the boundary temperature of surrounding rock has a linear decrease because of a directional movement of heat source in the UCG flame working face, the temperature in surrounding rock increases first and then decreases with time, the peak of temperature curve decreases gradually and its position moves inside surrounding rock from the boundary. In the surrounding rock of UCG stope, there is an envelope curve of temperature curve clusters. We analyzed the influence of thermophysical parameters on envelope curves and put forward to take envelope curve as the calculation basis for ranges of burnt surrounding rock, coal-wall coking cycle and heat influence. 3Preparation, characterization, pharmacokinetics and anticancer effects of PEGylated β-elemene liposomes显示文摘Objective:This study aimed to develop a new polyethylene glycol(PEG)ylatedβ-elemene liposome(PEG-Lipo-β-E)and evaluate its characterization,pharmacokinetics,antitumor effects and safety in vitro and in vivo.Methods:The liposomes were prepared by ethanol injection and high-pressure micro-jet homogenization.Characterization of the liposomes was conducted,and drug content,entrapment efficiency(EE),in vitro release and stability were studied by ultra-fast liquid chromatography(UFLC)and a liquid surface method.Blood was drawn from rats to establish the pharmacokinetic parameters.The anticancer effect was evaluated in a KU-19-19 bladder cancer xenograft model.Histological analyses were performed to evaluate safety.Results:The PEG-Lipo-β-E showed good stability and was characterized as 83.31±0.181 nm in size,0.279±0.004 in polydispersity index(PDI),-21.4±1.06 mV in zeta potential,6.65±0.02 in pH,5.024±0.107 mg/mL inβ-elemene(β-E)content,and 95.53±1.712%in average EE.The Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)indicated the formation of PEG-Lipo-β-E.Compared to elemene injection,PEG-Lipo-β-E demonstrated a 1.75-fold decrease in clearance,a 1.62-fold increase in half-life,and a 1.76-fold increase in area under the concentration-time curves(AUCs)from 0 hour to 1.5 hours(P<0.05).PEG-Lipo-β-E also showed an enhanced anticancer effect in vivo.Histological analyses showed that there was no evidence of toxicity to the heart,kidney,liver,lung or spleen.Conclusions:The present study demonstrates PEG-Lipo-β-E as a new formulation with ease of preparation,high EE,good stability,improved bioavailability and antitumor effects.Bingtao Zhai Qibiao Wu Wengang Wang Mingming Zhang Xuemeng Han Qiujie Li Peng Chen Xiaying Chen Xingxing Huang Guohua Li Qin Zhang Ruonan Zhang Yu Xiang Shuiping Liu Ting Duan Jianshu Lou Tian Xie Xinbing Sui 2020Cancer Biology & Medicine2020,17,1:6
4An ATF24 peptide-functionalized β-elemene-nanostructured lipid carrier combined with cisplatin for bladder cancer treatment显示文摘Objective:In this study,we aimed to develop an amino-terminal fragment(ATF)peptide-targeted liposome carryingβ-elemene(ATF24-PEG-Lipo-β-E)for targeted delivery into urokinase plasminogen activator receptor-overexpressing bladder cancer cells combined with cisplatin(DDP)for bladder cancer treatment.Methods:The liposomes were prepared by ethanol injection and high-pressure microjet homogenization.The liposomes were characterized,and the drug content,entrapment efficiency,andin vitro release were studied.The targeting efficiency was investigated using confocal microscopy,ultra-fast liquid chromatography,and an orthotopic bladder cancer model.The effects of ATF24-PEG-Lipo-β-E combined with DDP on cell viability and proliferation were evaluated by a Cell Counting Kit-8(CCK-8)assay,a colony formation assay,and cell apoptosis and cell cycle analyses.The anticancer effects were evaluated in a KU-19-19 bladder cancer xenograft model.Results:ATF24-PEG-Lipo-β-E had small and uniform sizes(~79 nm),high drug loading capacity(~5.24 mg/mL),high entrapment efficiency(98.37±0.95%),and exhibited sustained drug release behavior.ATF24-PEG-Lipo-β-E had better targeting efficiency and higher cytotoxicity than polyethylene glycol(PEG)ylatedβ-elemene liposomes(PEG-Lipo-β-E).DDP,combined with ATF24-PEG-Lipo-β-E,exerted a synergistic effect on cellular apoptosis and cell arrest at the G2/M phase,and these effects were dependent on the caspase-dependent pathway and Cdc25C/Cdc2/cyclin B1 pathways.Furthermore,thein vivo antitumor activity showed that the targeted liposomes effectively inhibited the growth of tumors,using the combined strategy.Conclusions:The present study provided an effective strategy for the targeted delivery ofβ-elemene(β-E)to bladder cancer,and a combined strategy for bladder cancer treatment.Bingtao Zhai Peng Chen Wengang Wang Shuiping Liu Jiao Feng Ting Duan Yu Xiang Ruonan Zhang Mingming Zhang Xuemeng Han Xiaying Chen Qiujie Li Guohua Li Ying Liu Xingxing Huang Wenzheng Zhang Ting Pan Lili Yan Ting Jin Tian Xie Xinbing Sui 2020Cancer Biology & Medicine2020,17,3:5
5Neutralization of interleukin-17A alleviates burn-induced intestinal barrier disruption via reducing pro-inflammatory cytokines in a mouse model显示文摘Background:The intestinal barrier integrity can be disrupted due to burn injury,which is responsible for local and systemic inflammatory responses.Anti-inflammation strategy is one of the proposed therapeutic approaches to control inflammatory cascade at an early stage.Interleukin-17A(IL-17A)plays a critical role in inflammatory diseases.However,the role of IL-17A in the progression of burn-induced intestinal inflammation is poorly understood.In this study,we aimed to investigate the effect of IL-17A and associated pro-inflammatory cytokines that were deeply involved in the pathogenesis of burn-induced intestinal inflammatory injury,and furthermore,we sought to determine the early source of IL-17A in the intestine.Methods:Mouse burn model was successfully established with infliction of 30%total body surface area scald burn.The histopathological manifestation,intestinal permeability,zonula occludens-1 expression,pro-inflammatory cytokines were determined with or without IL-17A-neutralization.Flow cytometry was used to detect the major source of IL-17A^(+)cells in the intestine.Results:Burn caused intestinal barrier damage,increase of intestinal permeability,alteration of zonula occludens-1 expressions,elevation of IL-17A,IL-6,IL-1βand tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),whereas IL-17A neutralization dramatically alleviated burn-induced intestinal barrier disruption,maintained zonula occludens-1 expression,and noticeably,inhibited pro-inflammatory cytokines elevation.In addition,we observed that the proportion of intestinal IL-17A^(+)Vγ4^(+)T subtype cells(but not IL-17A^(+)Vγ1^(+)T subtype cells)were increased in burn group,and neutralization of IL-17A suppressed this increase.Conclusions:The main original findings of this study are intestinal mucosa barrier is disrupted after burn through affecting the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines,and a protective role of IL-17A neutralization for intestinal mucosa barrier is determined.Furthermore,Vγ4^(+)T cells are identified as the major early producers of IL-17A that orchestrate an inflammatory response in the burn model.These data suggest that IL-17A blockage may provide a unique target for therapeutic intervention to treat intestinal insult after burn.Yajun Song Yang Li Ya Xiao Wengang Hu Xu Wang Pei Wang Xiaorong Zhang Jiacai Yang Yong Huang Weifeng He Chibing Huang 2019Burns & Trauma2019,7,1:5
6Bushen Qiangjin capsule(补肾强筋胶囊) inhibits the Wnt/β-catenin pathway to ameliorate papain-induced knee osteoarthritis in rats显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the molecular mechanism underlying the beneficial effect of Bushen Qiangjin capsule(补肾强筋胶囊,BSQJ),a Traditional Chinese Medicine,on knee osteoarthritis(KOA).METHODS:In the present study,32 female Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into four groups:control,KOA,high-dose BSQJ(H-BSQJ),and low-dose BSQJ(L-BSQJ).After successfully establishing the KOA model by intra-articular injection of papain,H-BSQJ and L-BSQJ groups were intragastrically administered 0.243 and 0.122 g/kg BSQJ,respectively,daily for 6 weeks.At the end of the experiment,knee articular cartilage tissues of rats were collected for evaluation by hematoxylin and eosin staining,Safranin O-Fast Green staining,and terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated d UTP nick-end labeling assay.Serum interleukin-1βand tumor necrosis factor-αlevels of rats were detected with an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay method.Gene expression of Wnt-4,β-catenin,Frizzled-2,glycogen synthase kinase-3β(GSK-3β),cysteinyl aspartate-specific proteinases 3 and 9(caspases 3 and 9),collagen typeⅡalpha 1(Col2 a1),and matrix metalloproteinases 1 and 13(MMP-1 and MMP-3)of rat knee articular cartilage was quantified by reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction analysis.Wnt-4,β-catenin,Frizzled-2,GSK-3β,cleaved caspase-3,and cleaved caspase-9 protein expression in rat knee articular cartilage was determined by western blot analysis.RESULTS:BSQJ obviously reduced pathological damage and matrix degradation of articular cartilage in KOA rats.Compared with the KOA group,H-BSQJ rats exhibited downregulated m RNA and protein expression of Wnt-4,β-catenin,Frizzled-2,and caspase-3,as well as upregulated m RNA and protein expression of GSK-3β.In addition,H-BSQJ significantly increased m RNA expression of Col2 a1 and decreased m RNA expression of MMP-1 and MMP-13.CONCLUSION:BSQJ exerted a beneficial effect on KOA by a mechanism involving downregulation of the Wnt/β-catenin pathway,which inhibited both cartilage extracellular matrix degradation and chondrocyte apoptosis to ameliorate KOA in rats.YAO Nan CHEN Guocai LU Yanyan XU Xuemeng ZHAO Chuanxi HUANG Xuejun LIU Wengang PENG Sha WU Huai 2021Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2021,41,6:5
7PCDH17 increases the sensitivity of colorectal cancer to 5-fluorouracil treatment by inducing apoptosis and autophagic cell death显示文摘5-Fluorouracil(5-FU)is known as a first-line chemotherapeutic agent against colorectal cancer(CRC),but drug resistance occurs frequently and significantly limits its clinical success.Our previous study showed that the protocadherin 17(PCDH17)gene was frequently methylated and functioned as a tumor suppressor in CRC.However,the relationship between PCDH17 and 5-FU resistance in CRC remains unclear.Here,we revealed that PCDH17 was more highly expressed in 5-FU-sensitive CRC tissues than in 5-FU-resistant CRC tissues,and high expression of PCDH17 was correlated with high BECN1 expression.Moreover,this expression profile contributed to superior prognosis and increased survival in CRC patients.Restoring PCDH17 expression augmented the 5-FU sensitivity of CRC in vitro and in vivo by promoting apoptosis and autophagic cell death.Furthermore,autophagy played a dominant role in PCDH17-induced cell death,as an autophagy inhibitor blocked cell death to a greater extent than the pancaspase inhibitor Z-VAD-FMK.PCDH17 inhibition by siRNA decreased the autophagy response and 5-FU sensitivity.Mechanistically,we showed that c-Jun NH2-terminal kinase(JNK)activation was a key determinant in PCDH17-induced autophagy.The compound SP600125,an inhibitor of JNK,suppressed autophagy and 5-FU-induced cell death in PCDH17-reexpressing CRC cells.Taken together,our findings suggest for the first time that PCDH17 increases the sensitivity of CRC to 5-FU treatment by inducing apoptosis and JNK-dependent autophagic cell death.PCDH17 may be a potential prognostic marker for predicting 5-FU sensitivity in CRC patients.Shuiping Liu Haoming Lin Da Wang Qiang Li Hong Luo Guoxiong Li Xiaohui Chen Yongqiang Li Peng Chen Bingtao Zhai Wengang Wang Ruonan Zhang Bi Chen Mingming Zhang Xuemeng Han Qiujie Li Liuxi Chen Ying Liu Xiaying Chen Guohua Li Yu Xiang Ting Duan Jiao Feng Jianshu Lou Xingxing Huang Qin Zhang Ting Pan Lili Yan Ting Jin Wenzheng Zhang Lvjia Zhuo Yitian Sun Tian Xie Xinbing Sui 2019Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2019,4,1:4
8Increasing the hole energy by grading the alloy composition of the p-type electron blocking layer for very high-performance deep ultraviolet light-emitting diodes显示文摘It is well known that the p-type AlGaN electron blocking layer(p-EBL) can block hole injection for deep ultraviolet light-emitting diodes(DUV LEDs). The polarization induced electric field in the p-EBL for [0001] oriented DUV LEDs makes the holes less mobile and thus further decreases the hole injection capability. Fortunately,enhanced hole injection is doable by making holes lose less energy, and this is enabled by a specifically designed p-EBL structure that has a graded AlN composition. The proposed p-EBL can screen the polarization induced electric field in the p-EBL. As a result, holes will lose less energy after going through the proposed p-EBL, which correspondingly leads to the enhanced hole injection. 9Genetically modified CD7-targeting allogeneic CAR-T cell therapy with enhanced efficacy for relapsed/refractory CD7-positive hematological malignancies:a phase I clinical study显示文摘Chimeric antigen receptor(CAR)-T cell therapy against T cell malignancies faces major challenges including fratricide between CAR-T cells and product contamination from the blasts.Allogeneic CAR-T cells,generated from healthy donor T cells,can provide ready-to-use,blast-free therapeutic products,but their application could be complicated by graft-versus-host disease(GvHD)and host rejection.Here we developed healthy donor-derived,CD7-targeting CAR-T cells(RD13-01)with genetic modifications to resist fratricide,GvHD and allogeneic rejection,as well as to potentiate antitumor function.A phase I clinical trial(NCT04538599)was conducted with twelve patients recruited(eleven with T cell leukemia/lymphoma,and one with CD7-expressing acute myeloid leukemia).All patients achieved pre-set end points and eleven proceeded to efficacy evaluation.No dose-limiting toxicity,GvHD,immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity or severe cytokine release syndrome(grade≥3)were observed.28 days post infusion,81.8%of patients(9/11)showed objective responses and the complete response rate was 63.6%(7/11,including the patient with AML).3 of the responding patients were bridged to allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.With a median follow-up of 10.5 months,4 patients remained in complete remission.Cytomegalovirus(CMV)and/or Epstein-Barr virus(EBV)reactivation was observed in several patients,and one died from EBV-associated diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL).Expansion of CD7-negative normal T cells was detected post infusion.In summary,we present the first report of a Phase I clinical trial using healthy donor-derived CD7-targeting allogeneic CAR-T cells to treat CD7^(+)hematological malignancies.Our results demonstrated the encouraging safety and efficacy profiles of the RD13-01 allogeneic CAR-T cells for CD7^(+)tumors.Yongxian Hu Yali Zhou Mingming Zhang Houli Zhao Guoqing Wei Wengang Ge Qu Cui Qitian Mu Gong Chen Lu Han Tingting Guo Jiazhen Cui Xiaoyan Jiang Xiujun Zheng Shuhui Yu Xiaolong Li Xingwang Zhang Mingxi Chen Xiuju Li Ming Gao Kang Wang Cheng Zu Hao Zhang Xiaohong He Yanbin Wang Dongrui Wang Jiangtao Ren He Huang 2022Cell Research2022,32,11:2

11Impact of Non-ideal Waveforms on GaN Power FET in Magnetic Resonant Wireless Power Transfer System显示文摘GaN field-effect transistors(FET)have low conduction and switching losses in high-frequency(>MHz)resonant wireless power transfer systems.Nevertheless,such systems impose a unique stress on GaN FETs owing to their non-ideal voltage waveforms.In this work,we report the observed non-ideal behavior in a 6.78 MHz magnetic resonant wireless transfer system that employs class-D GaN power amplifiers.The non-ideal waveform phenomenon existing at the output of the power amplifier is explained.The study analyzes the causes of this phenomenon,including the coupling coefficient k of the coil,the DC input voltage of the amplifier,and the load on the receiver.Each parameter is simulated and analyzed using LTspice.The influence of the phenomenon on the on-state resistance of the GaN device is proved in an experimental measurement,and the cause of the phenomenon is explained.The study combines a theoretical simulation and an experimental test to discuss the effect of this phenomenon on GaN power devices and proposes the corresponding solutions,which include the limitation of voltage,current,and power of the system,thermal management,and other protection measures.Shizhen Huang Jianshan Zhang Wengang Wu Ling Xia 2019Chinese Journal of Electrical Engineering2019,5,3:1

13Reservoirs Patterns and Key Controlling Factors of the Lenghu Oil & Gas Field in the Qaidam Basin, Northwestern China显示文摘The Lenghu area is one of the most crucial tectonic belts for oil and gas exploration in the Qaidam Basin.However,reservoir distribution and the factors controlling petroleum accumulation in this area have not been studied in detail.In this paper,the structural characteristics and controlling factors of oil and gas accumulation in the Lenghu belt are investigated based on seismic profiles combined with drilling logs and microphotographs data.Results indicate that the Lenghu belt has thick source rocks and has preserved hydrocarbon generation conditions.Moreover,structural characteristics and lithology are the key factors controlling the reservoir distribution.The production of oil and gas layers are mainly distributed in high structural points and weak stress zones.The fracture zones and the weak stress zones are the potential places for the distribution of oil and gas reservoirs.Wengang He Ehsan Barzgar Weiping Feng Liang Huang 2021Journal of Earth Science2021,32,4:1

18Iron-doping Accelerating NADH Oxidation over Carbon Nitride显示文摘As a state-of-the-art conjugated polymer photocatalyst,graphitic carbon nitride(abbreviated as g-C3Na)has shown sreat potential in photocatalvtic cofactor(reduced form of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide.NADH)regene-ration.Herein,Fe-doped g-CaNa was engineered for photocatalvtic NADH oxidation.The n-r interaction between the NADH molecule and the conjugated heptazine buildine block facilitates the adsorption of NADH onto the framework as revealed by density functional theory(DFT)calculations,Furthermore,iron doping promoted the oxidation kinetics of NADH under blue LED illumination.The conversion ratio of NADH to its oxidized form could be up to 85.7%in 20 min,comparing with 59.4%for metal-free counterpart.Enzyme assay employing formate dehydrogenase(FDH)further verified the selectivity of the products,with 67.5%+2.6%of enzymatically active 1,4-NADH being regenerated following the oxidation process.Scavenger experiments suggest the dominant role of photo-induced electrons in theoxidation of NADH.This work could shed light on developing a novel cofactor regeneration route through the syner-gistic effect between the metal doping and noncovalent interaction based on the coniugated polymer.ZHANG Yuanyuan HUANG Xiaohua LI Jiashu LIN Gang LIU Wengang CHEN Zupeng LIU Jian 2020Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2020,36,6:0
19Dynamic antimicrobial resistant patterns of Escherichia coli from healthy poultry and swine over 10 years in Chongming Island,Shanghai显示文摘Background:Antimicrobial resistance(AMR)is one of the greatest threats to animal and public health.Here,we conducted a dynamic surveillance of Escherichia coli on Chongming Island in Shanghai during 2009-2021 to identify the characteristics and trends of Chongming’s AMR pandemic.Methods:Rectal(cloaca)swabs from four poultry and nine swine farms(Chongming Island,2009-2021)were collected for E.coli strains acquisition.The micro-broth dilution method was used to test antimicrobial susceptibility of E.coli isolates against 10 antimicrobial classes including 15 antimicrobials.Utilizing generalized linear mixed models(GLMMs)and co-occurrence analyses,we further explored the multiple-drug-resistance(MDR)combinations and dynamic patterns of E.coli over 10 years in two food animals.Results:Total of 863 MDR isolates were found among 945 collected E.coli isolates,337 from poultry and 608 from swine.Both isolates exhibited high resistant rates(>70%)to tetracyclines,phenicols,sulfonamides,penicillins,and aminoglycosides(only in swine).The resistant rates of swine isolates to penicillins,aminoglycosides,tetracyclines,phenicols,and polymyxins were significantly higher than those of poultry isolates,whereas resistance to fluoroquinolones was reversed.Resistance to polymyxins decreased similarly in swine(42.4%in 2009 to 0.0%in 2021)and poultry isolates(from 16.5%to 0.0%).However,resistance to other seven antimicrobial classes(excluding carbapenems and penicillins)declined dramatically in swine isolates,particularly fluoroquinolones(from 80.5%to 14.4%),and tendencies of resistance to the seven classes showed markedly divergent patterns in poultry isolates.Using Poisson GLMMs,the AMR carriage since 2016 was significantly lower than that of 2009(odds ratio<1),indicating a decline in the risk of MDR emergence.Furthermore,despite the highly diverse MDR profiles,co-occurrence analysis identified two prominent MDR clusters of penicillins-phenicols-fluoroquinolones in poultry and aminoglycosides-tetracyclines-sulfonamides-phenicols in swine.Conclusions:Our study uncovered vastly distinct AMR patterns and dynamic tendencies of poultry and swine E.coli isolates from Chongming.Meanwhile,Chongming’s AMR status has ameliorated,as indicated by the decline in antimicrobials prevalence(particularly in swine),lower likelihood of MDR emergence and low carbapenem-,cephalosporin-,and polymyxin resistance.Importantly,this surveillance results are the vital basis for future policy development in Chongming and Shanghai.Chao Lv Jun Shang Wengang Zhang Bingqing Sun Min Li Chaoyi Guo Nan Zhou Xiaokui Guo Shixin Huang Yongzhang Zhu 2022Infectious Diseases of Poverty2022,11,5:0
20Control Effect of UAV Low Volume Spray Technology on Thrips and Tomato Spotted Wilt Virus in Tobacco Field显示文摘[Objectives]The paper was to explore the influence of unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)low volume spray technology on the control effect of viruliferous thrips and tomato spotted wilt virus(TSWV)under different pesticide concentrations,and to explore the effective control nodes and methods of thrips and TSWV.[Methods]According to the occurrence characteristics of thrips and TSWV,the field control effects of 4 pesticides on thrips and TSWV were tested by UAV with the thrips number and disease index as indicators,following the principle of regional and periodic control trials.[Results]In the groups of UAV and artificial prevention and control,4 agents were used alternatively,including 1%emamectin benzoate ME,1.7%abamectin imidacloprid ME,5%emamectin benzoate WDG,and 30%pyriproxyfen dinotefuran SL.There was no significant difference in the control effect of thrips and TSWV among treatment 1(recommended dosage of UAV agent),treatment 2(reduction of recommended dosage of UAV agent by 25%)and treatment 4(recommended dosage of artificial control agent),and the control effects on thrips were more than 83.16%in the 3 treatments.The disease index of TSWV in the 3 treatments decreased from 8.64±1.37 in the blank control group to less than 3,which reached the prevention and control threshold.But treatment 3(reduction of recommended dosage of UAV agent by 50%)did not reach the prevention and control threshold.The disease index of TSWV in the blank control area increased with the increase of the number of live nymphs of thrips,and there was a significant positive correlation,with good fitness.[Conclusions]UAV has a significant impact on the control effect of thrips and TSWV under different pesticide concentrations.In the actual flight control application,it is recommended that the amount of the pesticides is about 3/4 and not less than 1/2 of that of the artificial application.The control area should be extended to 100 m of the ridge of the tobacco field,and UAV is used periodically to control thrips and TSWV for 5 times from pre-transplanting stage to pre-squaring stage of flue-cured tobacco.The control effect is significantly different from the traditional artificial application.Zefan LIU Dean XIE Jiabao HAN Yanfen XIE Li MA Siyuan GAO Ruiqi PENG Yuting ZHAO Xiangze FU Wengang CHENG Yonghong FENG Yan ZHANG Huaping ZHANG Ying HUANG Leijie DAI Lanfeng WANG 2023Plant Diseases and Pests2023,14,4:0
