1Waste heat recovery from heavy-duty diesel engine exhaust gases by medium temperature ORC system显示文摘A medium-temperature waste-heat recovery system based on the organic Rankine cycle (ORC) is designed to recover the exhaust energy from a heavy-duty diesel engine. Analysis of the 1st law of thermodynamics for an ORC system is performed. This analysis contains two parts. The first part is an analysis with undefined heat exchangers to gain an understanding of the ORC and find out suitable organic fluid parameters for a better ORC efficiency. The second part of the analysis uses combined engine test results and two designs of heat exchangers. By comparing the two designs, an improved system of heat exchangers is described. This analysis also quantifies the effect of engine parameters on ORC system. The study concludes that the supercritical Rankine cycle is a better approach towards waste heat recovery. The ORC system is found to perform better under part-load conditions if the medium-high power condition rather than rated working point of the engine is used as the design parameter. 2Silk fibroin/poly (vinyl alcohol) blend scaffolds for controlled delivery of curcumin显示文摘A silk fibroin/poly(vinyl alcohol)porous scaffold with a water vapor transmission rate of 21256464 g/m^(2)/day has been developed via thermally induced phase separation(gelation)and freeze-drying process.A hierarchical architecture of micropores and nanofibers was observed inside the scaffolds,and the related structures were analyzed.The viability and proliferation of 3T3 fibroblasts were examined,which indicated that the scaffolds exerted low cytotoxicity.After loading curcumin,the scaffolds can suppress the growth of 3T3 fibroblasts.The release behavior of curcumin from the scaffolds was investigated.At pH=7.2,the release profiles showed no significant difference for the loading amounts of 0.5mg and 0.25mg per sample.Meanwhile,the cumulative amount of released drug at pH=5.7 was significantly more than that in neutral solution due to more degradation of the scaffolds.It was suggested that the silk fibroin/poly(vinyl alcohol)blend scaffolds could be potentially used as wound dressing materials.Xiaomeng Li Jinli Qin Jun Ma 2015Regenerative Biomaterials2015,2,2:3
3Recent Progress in Metal-Organic Frameworks@Cellulose Hybrids and Their Applications显示文摘In recent years,metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)are attracting increasing attention due to their charming properties.However,the intrinsic fragility,powdered crystalline state,and poor processibility of MOFs hinder their further application.By this,the designs of MOF-based aerogels,hydrogels,membranes are effective ways to solve this problem.Graphene,silica,synthetic polymer and cellulose are the commonly used raw materials for fabricating MOF-based aerogels,hydrogels,and membranes.Among them,cellulose and its derivatives are the best candidates to support the powdered MOFs from the perspectives of economy,environmental protection and property.This review focuses on discussing the advantages of MOF@cellulose hybrids in applications such as water treatment,antibacterial,gas separation and adsorption,energy storage,drug delivery,catalysis,and other smart composites.MOF@cellulose-based aerogels,hydrogels and membranes can provide valuable guidance for investigating the practical application of MOFs in terms of processability,reusability,stability and easiness in handling.Xiongli Liu Yun Xiao Zhiyuan Zhang Zifeng You Jinli Li Dingxuan Ma Baiyan Li 2021Chinese Journal of Chemistry2021,39,12:2

5Factors Influencing Bacterial Canker Disease of Kiwifruit and the Control Countermeasures显示文摘Survey was conducted to investigate the occurrence laws of bacterial canker disease of kiwifruits in Liupanshui area,Guizhou Province,and the pathogens and hazard symptoms of the canker disease were introduced. The results showed that the factors influencing the occurrence of bacterial canker disease of kiwifruit were identified as inter-species resistance,agronomic traits,meteorological and ecological conditions,cultivation and management techniques and fertilization levels. 7Dissolution of copper phthalocyanine and fabrication of its nano-structure film显示文摘The mono-protonated and di-protonated forms of copper phthalocyanine (CuPc) were obtained by increasing concentrations of trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) solution to a fixed concentration of CuPc solutions. UV-Vis spectrum shows that the Q bands of these two derivatives split and shift to the red, which means successive protonation happened and caused the two derivatives to lose their symmetry. After the protonation step, the solubility of protonated CuPc in organic solvent increased 60 times. The CuPc film was fabricated by the electrophoretic deposition (EPD) method from the protonated CuPc dissolved in nitromethane containing TFA. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) showed that the deposited CuPc film on the indium tin oxide (ITO) substrate is composed of thread-like nanobelts with diameters between 100 nm and 200 nm.
