2Self-healing Polymeric Hydrogels:Toward Multifunctional Soft Smart Materials显示文摘The concept of self-healing that involves a built-in ability to heal in response to damage wherever and whenever it occurs in a material,analogous to the healing process in living organisms,has emerged a couple of decades ago.Driven primarily by the demands for life-like materials and soft smart materials,therefore,the development of self-healing polymeric hydrogels has continually attracted the attention of the scientific community.Here,this review is intended to give an in-depth overview of the state-of-the-art advances in the field of self-healing polymeric hydrogels.Specifically,recently emerging trends in self-healing polymeric hydrogels are summarized,and notably,recommendations to endow these hydrogels with fascinating multi-functionalities including luminescence,conductivity/magnetism and shape memory etc are presented.To close,the current challenges and future opportunities in this field are also discussed.Xiao-Ling Zuo Shao-Fan Wang Xiao-Xia Le Wei Lu Tao Chen 2021Chinese Journal of Polymer Science2021,39,10:4
3Application of multimodal image fusion technology in brain tumor surgical procedure显示文摘Objective: To construct brain tumors and their surrounding anatomical structures through the method of registration, fusion and, three-dimensional(3D) reconstruction based on multimodal image data and to provide the visual information of tumor, skull,brain, and vessels for preoperative evaluation, surgical planning, and function protection.Methods: The image data of computed tomography(CT) and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) were collected from fifteen patients with confirmed brain tumors.We reconstructed brain tumors and their surrounding anatomical structures using Neuro Tech software. Results: The whole 3D structures including tumor, brain surface, skull, and vessels were successfully reconstructed based on the CT and MRI images. Reconstruction image clearly shows the tumor size, location, shape, and the anatomical relationship of tumor and surrounding structures. We can hide any reconstructed images such as skull,brain tissue, blood vessles, or tumors. We also can adjust the color of reconstructed images and rotate images to observe the structures from any direction. Reconstruction of brain and skull can be semi transparent to display the deep structure; reconstruction of the structures can be axial, coronal, and sagittal cutting to show relationship among tumor and surrounding structures. The reconstructed 3D structures clearly depicted the tumor features, such as size, location, and shape, and provided visual information of the spatial relationship among its surrounding structures. Conclusions: The method of registration, fusion, and 3D reconstruction based on multimodal images to provide the visual information is feasible and practical. 4Comparative Study of care HPV Assay,Visual Inspection and Pap Smears as Primary Screening in Rural China显示文摘农村地区的肿瘤早诊早治,一直是国家肿瘤防治工作的重点。本文旨在研究在我国农村地区,在当地现实条件下由基层技术人员操作的醋酸碘染色肉眼观察、细胞学以及careHPV DNA检测的可行性。本研究中把当地参加项目的女性随机分为3组,分别采用醋酸碘染色肉眼观察、细胞学以及careHPV DNA进行宫颈癌及癌前病变的初筛。初筛阳性的女性转诊进行阴道镜及活检。所有的检测都是有当地工作人员完成。最终诊断以中国医学科学院肿瘤医院病理专家的结果为准。同时通过问卷调查收集筛查对象及乡医村医有关HPV及筛查项目的认知和态度。最终有894名女性完成careHPV DNA检测,552名女性完成醋酸碘染肉眼观察,547名女性完成巴氏涂片。careHPV检测、醋酸碘染肉眼观察和巴氏涂片的阳性率分别为10.6%,18.1%和4.9%,差异具有统计学意义(χ~2=48.647,P<0.001)。总人群的CIN2+病变检出率为0.5%,尽管careHPV组的CIN2+病变检出率高于其他两组,但差异未发现统计学意义。通过以上研究,显示基层卫生工作人员对HPV相关知识的了解不足,但对于在国家筛查项目中引入HPV检测持积极的态度。在基层条件下由经过简单培训的实验员进行careHPV检测是可行的,应在基层卫生工作者中开展HPV及其检测相关的教育和培训。Zhao Yuqian Dang Le Zhang Shaokai Hu Xiaofeng Zuo Tingting Chen Feng Zhang Xun Chen Wen Qiao Youlin 2018肿瘤预防与治疗2018,31,1:2

6Signal detection through circular convolution reconstruction for OFDM system in fast varying channel显示文摘A signal detection algorithm is proposed for the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system in the presence of fast time-varying channel. The channel is represented by a piece-wise linear variant model with normalized Doppler frequency of less than 0.2. The channel parameters are extracted through ISI/ICI (inter-symbol interference/inter-carrier interference) cancellation and circular convolution reconstruction. Meanwhile, an improved OFDM symbol detection algorithm is also proposed based on circular convolution reconstruction. The channel state information in the OFDM symbol duration can be obtained accurately from the adjacent two block pilots in a linear model. The simulation results show that the proposed method can not only track the channel variation, but also promise better performance gain in the OFDM symbol detection. 7Measurement of Martian atmospheric winds by the O_(2) 1.27 μm airglow observations using Doppler Michelson Interferometry: A concept study显示文摘China’s Mars exploration mission has stimulated tremendous interest in planetary science exploration recently.To propose potential scientific research projects,this study presents a concept simulation for the measurement of Martian atmospheric winds using the Doppler Michelson interferometry technique.The simulation is based on the satellite instrument initially designed for the Dynamic Atmosphere Mars Observer(DYNAMO)project to measure vertical profiles of winds from the 1.27μm airglow observations in the Martian atmosphere.A comprehensive DYNAMO measurement simulation forward model based on an orbit submodel,an atmospheric background field submodel,and an instrument submodel is developed using the Michelson equation.The simulated interferogram signal over the field of view(FOV)calculated by the forward model is associated with the filter transmittance function,column emission rate of airglow,wind velocity,temperature,and the Michelson phase.The agreement between the derived atmospheric signals from the simulated interferogram without altitude inversion and the input parameters used to initiate the forward model confirms the validity of the forward model.Na YANG Chunliang XIA Tao YU Xiaomin ZUO Yangyi SUN Xiangxiang YAN Jian ZHANG Jin WANG Huijun LE Libo LIU William Edmund WARD 2021Science China Earth Sciences2021,64,11:1

9Study on instability fracture and simulation of surrounding rock induced by fault activation under mining influence显示文摘The fault is potentially vulnerability's geological structure in the working face and its vicinity,and it is also a crucial geological factor affecting coal mine safety exploitation.To investigate the unstable failure of surrounding rock induced by fault activation under the influence of adoption,which was studied utilizing field case and numerical analysis for the deformation and failure process of surrounding rock near the fault-affected zone.Combined with field cases,this paper analyzes disturbance stress and roof abscission layer monitoring in effecting zones of fault activation.Using the discrete element 3DEC numerical analysis method,the model of surrounding rock unstable fracture induced by fault activation under adoption is established.The unstable fracture and stress variation characteristics of surrounding rock induced by fault activation during the excavation of the upper side wall and lower side wall of the faults are simulated and analyzed.Field analysis shows that as the coal working face continues to advance,the mining stress gradually increases.There is a zigzag wave on the relationship curve between coal mining and roof displacement near the fault,which reveals that the surrounding rock of the fault activation affected zone is in the superposition state of static load and dynamic load.Furthermore,the simulation results show that the stress and displacement of surrounding rock near the fault increase with the advance of coal mining face.The closer to the fault plane,the displacement gradually returns to zero,and the stress is also in a lower state.Jie Chen Kaiwen Shi Yuanyuan Pu Derek B.Apel Chuanjiu Zhang Yujun Zuo Jiongkun Chen Le Xu Zhen Gui Longfei Song 2023Rock Mechanics Bulletin2023,2,2:1
10Angiopoietin-like 4 promotes epidermal stem cell proliferation and migration and contributes to cutaneous wound re-epithelialization显示文摘Proliferation and migration of epidermal stem cells(EpSCs)are essential for epithelialization during skin wound healing.Angiopoietin-like 4(ANGPTL4)has been reported to play an important role in wound healing,but the mechanisms involved are not fully understood.Here,we investigate the contribution of ANGPTL4 to full-thickness wound re-epithelialization and the underlying mechanisms using Angptl4-knockout mice.Immunohistochemical staining reveals that ANGPTL4 is significantly upregulated in the basal layer cells of the epidermis around the wound during cutaneous wound healing.ANGPTL4 deficiency impairs wound healing.H&E staining shows that ANGPTL4 deficiency significantly reduces the thickness,length and area of the regenerated epidermis postwounding.Immunohistochemical staining for markers of EpSCs(α6 integrin andβ1 integrin)and cell proliferation(PCNA)shows that the number and proliferation of EpSCs in the basal layer of the epidermis are reduced in ANGPTL4-deficient mice.In vitro studies show that ANGPTL4 deficiency impedes EpSC proliferation,causes cell cycle arrest at the G1 phase and reduces the expressions of cyclins D1 and A2,which can be reversed by ANGPTL4 overexpression.ANGPTL4 deletion suppresses EpSC migration,which is also rescued by ANGPTL4 overexpression.Overexpression of ANGPTL4 in EpSCs accelerates cell proliferation and migration.Collectively,our results indicate that ANGPTL4 promotes EpSC proliferation by upregulating cyclins D1 and A2 expressions and accelerating the cell cycle transition from G1 to S phase and that ANGPTL4 promotes skin wound re-epithelialization by stimulating EpSC proliferation and migration.Our study reveals a novel mechanism underlying EpSC activation and re-epithelialization during cutaneous wound healing.Yuan Yang Chenghao Yu Yingying Le Weijuan Gong Jihui Ju Guangliang Zhang Pengxiang Ji Rui Zuo Zhe Liu Ping Zhang Ruixing Hou Yi Fu 2023Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2023,55,8:0
11Integrative analysis of in vivo recording with single-cell RNA-seq data reveals molecular properties of light-sensitive neurons in mouse V1显示文摘Vision formation is classically based on projections from retinal ganglion cells(RGC)to the lateral geniculate nucleus(LGN)and the primary visual cortex(V1).Neurons in the mouse V1 are tuned to light stimuli.Although the cellular information of the retina and the LGN has been widely studied,the transcriptome profiles of single light-stimulated neuron in V1 remain unknown.In our study,in vivo calcium imaging and whole-cell electrophysiological patch-clamp recording were utilized to identify 53 individual cells from layer 2/3 of V1 as lightsensitive(LS)or non-light-sensitive(NS)by single-cell light-evoked calcium evaluation and action potential spiking.The contents of each cell after functional tests were aspirated in vivo through a patch-clamp pipette for mRNA sequencing.Moreover,the three-dimensional(3-D)morphological characterizations of the neurons were reconstructed in a live mouse after the whole-cell recordings.Our sequencing results indicated that V1 neurons with a high expression of genes related to transmission regulation,such as Rtn4r and Rgs7,and genes involved in membrane transport,such as Na+/K+ATPase and NMDA-type glutamatergic receptors,preferentially responded to light stimulation.Furthermore,an antagonist that blocks Rtn4r signals could inactivate the neuronal responses to light stimulation in live mice.In conclusion,our findings of the vivo-seq analysis indicate the key role of the strength of synaptic transmission possesses neurons in V1 of light sensory.Jianwei Liu Mengdi Wang Le Sun Na Clara Pan Changjiang Zhang Junjing Zhang Zhentao Zuo Sheng He Qian Wu Xiaoqun Wang 2020Protein & Cell2020,11,6:0
12Arabidopsis F-BOX STRESS INDUCED 4 is required to repress excessive divisions in stomatal development显示文摘During the terminal stage of stomatal development,the R2 R3-MYB transcription factors FOUR LIPS(FLP/MYB124) and MYB88 limit guard mother cell division by repressing the transcript levels of multiple cell-cycle genes. In Arabidopsis thaliana possessing the weak allele flp-1, an extra guard mother cell division results in two stomata having direct contact.Here, we identified an ethylmethane sulfonatemutagenized mutant, flp-1 xs01 c, which exhibited more severe defects than flp-1 alone, producing gianttumor-like cell clusters. XS01 C, encoding F-BOX STRESS-INDUCED 4(FBS4), is preferentially expressed in epidermal stomatal precursor cells.Overexpressing FBS4 rescued the defective stomatal phenotypes of flp-1 xs01 c and flp-1 mutants. The deletion or substitution of a conserved residue(Proline166) within the F-box domain of FBS4 abolished or reduced, respectively, its interaction with Arabidopsis Skp1-Like1(ASK1), the core subunit of the Skp1/Cullin/F-box E3 ubiquitin ligase complex. Furthermore, the FBS4 protein physically interacted with CYCA2;3 and induced its degradation through the ubiquitin-26 S proteasome pathway. 13MoS_(2)core-shell nanoparticles prepared through liquid-phase ablation and light exfoliation of femtosecond laser for chemical sensing显示文摘Molybdenum disulfide(MoS_(2))-based nanostructures are highly desirable for applications such as chemical and biological sensing,photo/electrochemical catalysis,and energy storage due to their unique physical and chemical properties.In this work,MoS_(2)core-shell nanoparticles were first prepared through the liquid-phase processing of bulk MoS2by a femtosecond laser.The core of prepared nanoparticles was incompletely and weakly crystalline MoS_(2);the shell of prepared nanoparticles was highly crystalline MoS_(2),which wrapped around the core layer by layer.The femtosecond laser simultaneously achieved liquid-phase ablation and light exfoliation.The formation mechanism of the core-shell nanoparticles is to prepare the nanonuclei first by laser liquid-phase ablation and then the nanosheets by light exfoliation;the nanosheets will wrap the nanonuclei layer by layer through van der Waals forces to form core-shell nanoparticles.The MoS_(2)core-shell nanoparticles,because of Mo-S bond breakage and recombination,have high chemical activity for chemical catalysis.Afterward,the nanoparticles were used as a reducing agent to directly prepare three-dimensional(3D)Au-MoS_(2)micro/nanostructures,which were applied as surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy(SERS)substrates to explore chemical sensing activity.The ultrahigh enhancement factor(1.06×10^(11)),ultralow detection limit(10-13M),and good SERS adaptability demonstrate highly sensitive SERS activity,great ability of ultralow concentration detection,and ability to detect diverse analytes,respectively.This work reveals the tremendous potential of 3D Au-MoS_(2)composite structures as excellent SERS substrates for chemical and biological sensing.ZUO Pei JIANG Lan LI Xin TIAN MengYao YUAN YongJiu HAN WeiNa MA Le HU LiFei HE ZhiCong LI Fang 2023Science China(Technological Sciences)2023,66,3:0
14Map Reconstruction of Radio Observations with Conditional Invertible Neural Networks显示文摘In radio astronomy,the challenge of reconstructing a sky map from time ordered data is known as an inverse problem.Standard map-making techniques and gridding algorithms are commonly employed to address this problem,each offering its own benefits such as producing minimum-variance maps.However,these approaches also carry limitations such as computational inefficiency and numerical instability in map-making and the inability to remove beam effects in grid-based methods.To overcome these challenges,this study proposes a novel solution through the use of the conditional invertible neural network(cINN)for efficient sky map reconstruction.With the aid of forward modeling,where the simulated time-ordered data(TODs)are generated from a given sky model with a specific observation,the trained neural network can produce accurate reconstructed sky maps.Using the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope as an example,cINN demonstrates remarkable performance in map reconstruction from simulated TODs,achieving a mean squared error of2.29±2.14×10^(-4)K^(2),a structural similarity index of 0.968±0.002,and a peak signal-to-noise ratio of26.13±5.22 at the 1σlevel.Furthermore,by sampling in the latent space of cINN,the reconstruction errors for each pixel can be accurately quantified.Haolin Zhang Shifan Zuo Le Zhang 2023Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2023,23,7:0
15Vulnerable Region-Aware Greybox Fuzzing显示文摘Fuzzing is known to be one of the most effective techniques to uncover security vulnerabilities of large-scale software systems.During fuzzing,it is crucial to distribute the fuzzing resource appropriately so as to achieve the best fuzzing performance under a limited budget.Existing distribution strategies of American Fuzzy Lop(AFL)based greybox fuzzing focus on increasing coverage blindly without considering the metrics of code regions,thus lacking the insight regarding which region is more likely to be vulnerable and deserves more fuzzing resources.We tackle the above drawback by proposing a vulnerable region-aware greybox fuzzing approach.Specifically,we distribute more fuzzing resources towards regions that are more likely to be vulnerable based on four kinds of code metrics.We implemented the approach as an extension to AFL named RegionFuzz.Large-scale experimental evaluations validate the effectiveness and efficiency of RegionFuzz-11 new bugs including three new CVEs are successfully uncovered by RegionFuzz.Ling-Yun Situ Zhi-Qiang Zuo Le Guan Lin-Zhang Wang Xuan-Dong Li Jin Shi Peng Liu 2021Journal of Computer Science & Technology2021,36,5:0
16Model-based deep learning for fiber bundle infrared image restoration显示文摘As the representative of flexibility in optical imaging media,in recent years,fiber bundles have emerged as a promising architecture in the development of compact visual systems.Dedicated to tackling the problems of universal honeycomb artifacts and low signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)imaging in fiber bundles,the iterative super-resolution reconstruction network based on a physical model is proposed.Under the constraint of solving the two subproblems of data fidelity and prior regularization term alternately,the network can efficiently“regenerate”the lost spatial resolution with deep learning.By building and calibrating a dual-path imaging system,the real-world dataset where paired low-resolution(LR)-high-resolution(HR)images on the same scene can be generated simultaneously.Numerical results on both the United States Air Force(USAF)resolution target and complex target objects demonstrate that the algorithm can restore high-contrast images without pixilated noise.On the basis of super-resolution reconstruction,compound eye image composition based on fiber bundle is also embedded in this paper for the actual imaging requirements.The proposed work is the first to apply a physical model-based deep learning network to fiber bundle imaging in the infrared band,effectively promoting the engineering application of thermal radiation detection.Bo-wen Wang Le Li Hai-bo Yang Jia-xin Chen Yu-hai Li Qian Chen Chao Zuo 2023Defence Technology(防务技术)2023,27,9:0
17Prototype of an array SiPM-based scintillator Compton camera for radioactive materials detection显示文摘Purpose The Compton camera,which visualizes the distribution of gamma-ray sources based on the kinematics of Compton scattering,has advantage of wide field of view,broad range of energy and compact structure.Methods In this study,we proposed a prototype of Compton camera,which included array silicon photomultiplier(SiPM)-based position-sensitive detectors,data acquisition(DAQ)system and image reconstruction system.The detectors were composed of Ce-doped Gd_(3)Al_(2)Ga_(3)O_(12) scintillator arrays and pixel Si-PM arrays.In DAQ system,symmetric charge division circuit,impedance bridge circuit and the delay coincidence algorithm were designed to record coincidence events.Simple back-projection algorithm and list-mode maximum likelihood expectation maximization algorithm were adopted for image reconstruction.The coordinate of longitude and latitude was used for image fusion.Results The performance of this Compton camera prototype system was evaluated.The results indicated that this system was able to locate a ^(137)Cs point source within 20 s with the corresponding radiation dose of~1.0μSv/h.The angular resolution of point source was~7°(FWHM),and the total energy resolution of 662 keV was 7.2%.Furthermore,we succeeded in separating two point sources of different energy[^(22)Na(511 keV),^(137)Cs(662 keV)]in laboratory test.Conclusions This prototype of scintillator Compton camera offers capabilities for applications like source term investigation and radioactive materials detection.Ji‑Peng Zhang Xiu‑zuo Liang Jia‑le Cai Yi Liu Xian‑chao Huang Dao‑wu Li Xiong Xiao Xiao‑yu Pang Zhi‑ming Zhang Long Wei Lei Shuai 2019Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2019,3,3:0
