1OsSIDP366,a DUF1644 gene,positively regulates responses to drought and salt stresses in rice显示文摘Domain of unknown function 1644(DUF1644) is a Rhighly conserved amino acid sequence motif present only in plants. Analysis of expression data of the family of DUF1644-containing genes indicated that they may regulate responses to abiotic stress in rice. Here we present our discovery of the role of Os SIDP366, a member of the DUF1644 gene family, in response to drought and salinity stresses in rice. Transgenic rice plants overexpressing Os SIDP366 showed enhanced drought and salinity tolerance and reduced water loss as compared to that in the control, whereas plants with downregulated Os SIDP366 expression levels using RNA interference(RNAi) were more sensitive to salinity and drought treatments. The sensitivity to abscisic acid(ABA)treatment was not changed in Os SIDP366-overexpressing plants, and Os SIDP366 expression was not affected in ABAdeficient mutants. Subcellular localization analysis revealed that Os SIDP366 is presented in the cytoplasmic foci that colocalized with protein markers for both processing bodies(PBs) and stress granules(SGs) in rice protoplasts. Digital gene expression(DGE) profile analysis indicated that stress-related genes such as SNAC1, Os HAK5 and PRs were upregulated in Os SIDP366-overexpressing plants. 3An improved OFDM chirp waveform used for MIMO SAR system显示文摘Special attention has been devoted to multi-input multi-output(MIMO)synthetic aperture radar(SAR)systems in recent years.The applications of MIMO SAR systems which involve 3D imaging,highresolution wide-swath remote sensing,and multi-baseline interferometry are seriously limited to the orthogonal waveforms.Although orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM)chirp waveforms can be used for MIMO SAR systems to avoid intra-pulse interferences,there is a small frequency shift between the transmitted OFDM pulses.This vulnerable shift,which can not only affect the waveform orthogonality,but also introduce residual phase error,renders the OFDM waveforms impractical.In this paper,an improved OFDM chirp waveform which works without the mentioned shift is presented,along with the novel modulation and efficient demodulation procedures.Comparison between the improved and the conventional OFDM chirp waveforms is detailed.The influence of random noise,quantization error,and Doppler shift on the orthogonality of OFDM waveform is also investigated in this paper.Theoretical analysis and simulation results illustrate the feasibility of this waveform scheme.WANG Jie LIANG XingDong DING ChiBiao CHEN LongYong ZHOU LiangJiang DONG YongWei 2014Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,6:6

11Immunity-and-matrix-regulatory cells enhance cartilage regeneration for meniscus injuries: a phase I dose-escalation trial显示文摘Immunity-and-matrix-regulatory cells(IMRCs)derived from human embryonic stem cells have unique abilities in modulating immunity and regulating the extracellular matrix,which could be mass-produced with stable biological properties.Despite resemblance to mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)in terms of self-renew and tri-lineage differentiation,the ability of IMRCs to repair the meniscus and the underlying mechanism remains undetermined.Here,we showed that IMRCs demonstrated stronger immunomodulatory and pro-regenerative potential than umbilical cord MSCs when stimulated by synovial fluid from patients with meniscus injury.Following injection into the knees of rabbits with meniscal injury,IMRCs enhanced endogenous fibrocartilage regeneration.In the dose-escalating phase I clinical trial(NCT03839238)with eighteen patients recruited,we found that intra-articular IMRCs injection in patients was safe over 12 months post-grafting.Furthermore,the effective results of magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)of meniscus repair and knee functional scores suggested that 5×107 cells are optimal for meniscus injury treatment.In summary,we present the first report of a phase I clinical trial using IMRCs to treat meniscus injury.Our results demonstrated that intra-articular injection of IMRCs is a safe and effective therapy by providing a permissive niche for cartilage regeneration.Liangjiang Huang Song Zhang Jun Wu Baojie Guo Tingting Gao Sayed Zulfiqar Ali Shah Bo Huang Yajie Li Bo Zhu Jiaqi Fan Liu Wang Yani Xiao Wenjing Liu Yao Tian Zhengyu Fang Yingying Lv Lingfeng Xie Sheng Yao Gaotan Ke Xiaolin Huang Ying Huang Yujuan Li Yi Jia Zhongwen Li Guihai Feng Yan Huo Wei Li Qi Zhou Jie Hao Baoyang Hu Hong Chen 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,12:0
12IMPACT OF WIDE-BAND I/Q MODULATION ERRORS IN SAR IMAGING ANALYSIS AND COMPENSATION METHOD RESAERCH显示文摘Direct quadrature modulation technology is suitable for wide-band radar signal generation. However, this method has rigorous requirements on amplitude and phase balance of the orthogonal input signals. If the requirements are not satisfied, there would be modulation errors such as image frequency and oscillator leakage that cannot be filtered. The modulation errors will therefore raise the noise floor of the range profile and reduce the dynamic range of the Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) image as a whole. In this paper, the wide-band In-phase/Quadrature-phase (I/Q) modulation errors are modeling analyzed, and the influence of wide-band I/Q modulation errors on SAR imaging is discussed. Furthermore, a compensation method of modulation errors is proposed, and the circuit implementation of the radar signal generation and pre-distortion is presented.
