1Nitrification performance of nitrifying bacteria immobilized in waterborne polyurethane at low ammonia nitrogen concentrations显示文摘Suspended and waterborne polyurethane immobilized nitrifying bacteria have been adopted for evaluating the effects of environmental changes,such as temperature,dissolved oxygen (DO) concentration and pH,on nitrification characteristics under conditions of low ammonia concentrations.The results showed that nitrification was prone to complete with increasing pH,DO and temperature.Sensitivity analysis demonstrated the effects of temperature and pH on nitrification feature of suspended bacteria were slightly greater than those of immobilized nitrifying bacteria.Immobilized cells could achieve complete nitrification at low ammonia concentrations when DO was sufficient.Continuous experiments were carried out to discuss the removal of ammonia nitrogen from synthetic micropollute source water with the ammonia concentration of about 1 mg/L using immobilized nitrifying bacteria pellets in an up-flow inner circulation reactor under different hydraulic retention times (HRT).The continuous removal rate remains above 80% even under HRT 30 min.The results verified that the waterborne polyurethane immobilized nitrifying bacteria pellets had great potential applications for micro-pollution source water treatment.Yamei Dong Zhenjia Zhang Yongwei Jin Zhirong Li Jian Lu 2011Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,3:32
2Nitrification characteristics of nitrobacteria immobilized in waterborne polyurethane in wastewater of corn-based ethanol fuel production显示文摘A technology to achieve stable and high ammonia nitrogen removal rates for corn distillery wastewater (ethanol fuel production) treatment has been designed.The characteristics of nitrifying bacteria entrapped in a waterborne polyurethane (WPU) gel carrier were evaluated after acclimation.In the acclimation period,nitrification rates of WPU-immobilized nitrobacteria were monitored and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) was also carried out to investigate the change in ammonium-oxidizing bacteria.The results showed that the pellet nitrification rates increased from 21 to 228 mg-N/(L-pellet·hr) and the quantity of the ammonia oxidation bacteria increased substantially during the acclimation.A continuous ammonia removal experiment with the anaerobic pond effluent of a distillery wastewater system was conducted with immobilized nitrifying bacteria for 30 days using an 80 L airlift reactor with pellets at a fill ratio of 15% (V/V).Under the conditions of 75 mg/L influent ammonia,hydraulic retention time (HRT) of 3.7-5.6 hr,and dissolved oxygen (DO) of 4 mg/L,the effluent ammonia concentration was lower than 10 mg/L and the ammonia removal efficiency was 90%.While the highest ammonia removal rate,162 mg-N/(L-pellet·hr),was observed when the HRT was 1.3 hr.Yamei Dong Zhenjia Zhang Yongwei Jin Jian Lut Xuehang Cheng Jun Li Yan-yan Deng Ya-nan Feng Dongning Chen 2012Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,6:14
3Insight-HXMT observations of the first binary neutron star merger GW170817显示文摘Finding the electromagnetic(EM) counterpart of binary compact star merger, especially the binary neutron star(BNS) merger,is critically important for gravitational wave(GW) astronomy, cosmology and fundamental physics. On Aug. 17, 2017,Advanced LIGO and Fermi/GBM independently triggered the first BNS merger, GW170817, and its high energy EM counterpart,GRB 170817 A, respectively, resulting in a global observation campaign covering gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, optical, IR, radio as well as neutrinos. The High Energy X-ray telescope(HE) onboard Insight-HXMT(Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope) is the unique high-energy gamma-ray telescope that monitored the entire GW localization area and especially the optical counterpart(SSS17 a/AT2017 gfo) with very large collection area(~1000 cm^2) and microsecond time resolution in 0.2-5 MeV. In addition,Insight-HXMT quickly implemented a Target of Opportunity(ToO) observation to scan the GW localization area for potential X-ray emission from the GW source. Although Insight-HXMT did not detect any significant high energy(0.2-5 MeV) radiation from GW170817, its observation helped to confirm the unexpected weak and soft nature of GRB 170817 A. Meanwhile,Insight-HXMT/HE provides one of the most stringent constraints(~10^(-7) to 10^(-6) erg/cm^2/s) for both GRB170817 A and any other possible precursor or extended emissions in 0.2-5 MeV, which help us to better understand the properties of EM radiation from this BNS merger. 4The enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP显示文摘In this paper we present the enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP. eXTP is a space science mission designed to study fundamental physics under extreme conditions of density, gravity and magnetism. The mission aims at determining the equation of state of matter at supra-nuclear density, measuring effects of QED, and understanding the dynamics of matter in strong-field gravity. In addition to investigating fundamental physics, eXTP will be a very powerful observatory for astrophysics that will provide observations of unprecedented quality on a variety of galactic and extragalactic objects. 5The High Energy X-ray telescope (HE) onboard the Insight-HXMT astronomy satellite显示文摘The Insight-Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope(Insight-HXMT) is a broadband X-ray and γ-ray(1-3000 ke V) astronomy satellite. One of its three main telescopes is the High Energy X-ray telescope(HE). The main detector plane of HE comprises 18 Na I(Tl)/Cs I(Na) phoswich detectors, where Na I(Tl) is used as the primary detector to measure ~ 20-250 ke V photons incident from the field of view(FOV) defined by collimators, and Cs I(Na) is used as the active shielding detector to Na I(Tl) by pulse shape discrimination. Additionally, Cs I(Na) is used as an omnidirectional γ-ray monitor. The HE collimators have a diverse FOV,i.e. 1.1°×5.7°(15 units), 5.7°×5.7°(2 units), and blocked(1 unit). Therefore, the combined FOV of HE is approximately5.7°×5.7°. Each HE detector has a diameter of 190 mm resulting in a total geometrical area of approximately 5100 cm2, and the energy resolution is ~15% at 60 ke V. For each recorded X-ray event by HE, the timing accuracy is less than 10 μs and the deadtime is less than 10 μs. HE is used for observing spectra and temporal variability of X-ray sources in the 20-250 ke V band either by pointing observations for known sources or scanning observations to unveil new sources. Additionally, HE is used for monitoring the γ-ray burst in 0.2-3 Me V band. 6An improved OFDM chirp waveform used for MIMO SAR system显示文摘Special attention has been devoted to multi-input multi-output(MIMO)synthetic aperture radar(SAR)systems in recent years.The applications of MIMO SAR systems which involve 3D imaging,highresolution wide-swath remote sensing,and multi-baseline interferometry are seriously limited to the orthogonal waveforms.Although orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM)chirp waveforms can be used for MIMO SAR systems to avoid intra-pulse interferences,there is a small frequency shift between the transmitted OFDM pulses.This vulnerable shift,which can not only affect the waveform orthogonality,but also introduce residual phase error,renders the OFDM waveforms impractical.In this paper,an improved OFDM chirp waveform which works without the mentioned shift is presented,along with the novel modulation and efficient demodulation procedures.Comparison between the improved and the conventional OFDM chirp waveforms is detailed.The influence of random noise,quantization error,and Doppler shift on the orthogonality of OFDM waveform is also investigated in this paper.Theoretical analysis and simulation results illustrate the feasibility of this waveform scheme.WANG Jie LIANG XingDong DING ChiBiao CHEN LongYong ZHOU LiangJiang DONG YongWei 2014Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,6:6

9Overview to the Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope (Insight-HXMT) Satellite显示文摘As China’s first X-ray astronomical satellite, the Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope (HXMT), which was dubbed as Insight-HXMT after the launch on June 15, 2017, is a wide-band(1-250 ke V) slat-collimator-based X-ray astronomy satellite with the capability of all-sky monitoring in 0.2-3 Me V. 11Variable slip window technology in transition detection on pitching airfoil显示文摘In the pitching motion,the unsteady transition and relaminarization position plays an important role in the dynamic characteristics of the airfoil.In order to facilitate the computer to automatically and accurately calculate the position of the transition and relaminarization,a Variable Slip Window Technology(VSWT)suitable for airfoil dynamic data processing was developed using the S809 airfoil experimental data in this paper and two calculation strategies,i.e.,global strategy and single point strategy,were proposed:global strategy and single point strategy.The core of the VSWT is the selection of the window function h and the parameters setting in the h function.The effect of the VSWT was evaluated using the dimensionless pulse strength value(INB),which can be used to evaluate the signal characteristics,of the root mean square(RMS)value of the fluctuating pressure.It is found that:the h function characteristics have a significant influence on the VSWT.The suitable functions are Hn function constructed in this paper and step function.For the left boundary of the magnified area,the step function can obtain the largest INB value,but the robustness is not good.The H1 function(Gaussian-like function,n=1)can show higher robustness while ensuring a large INB value.The two computing strategies,which are single point strategy and global strategy,have their own advantages and disadvantages.The former strategy,that is the single point strategy,can achieve a higher INB value,but the RMS magnification at the feature position needs to be known in advance.Although the INB value obtained by the latter strategy,that is the global strategy,is slightly smaller than the calculation results of the former strategy,it is not necessary to know the RMS magnification at the feature position in advance.So the global strategy has better robustness.The experimental data of NACA0012 airfoil was used to further validate the developed VSWT in this paper,and the results show that the VSWT developed in this paper can still double the INB value of the transition/relaminarization position.The VSWT developed in this paper has certain practicability,which is convenient for the computer to automatically determine the transition/relaminarization characteristics.Binbin WEI Yongwei GAO Dong LI Lei DENG 2020Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,4:2
12RMB Appreciation, Output Growth, and Inflation显示文摘Following Dibooglu and Kutan(2005),we construct a structural VAR model to investigate the impact of RMB(the Chinese currency)appreciation on growth and inflation in China.The empirical results show that RMB appreciation has negative effects on output growth and inflation while neither effect is statistically significant.However,exchange rate shocks are important in the fluctuations of output growth and inflation.We also simulate the scenario of a sharp currency appreciation compared to the gradual approach adopted by the Chinese government.In the counterfactual analysis we find that a sharp appreciation would lead to more violent shocks in economic growth and inflation compared to the gradual approach.YONGWEI CHEN DONG LI 2013Economic and Political Studies2013,1,2:2

14Effect of Low Temperature Treatment on Agrobacterium-mediated Transformation of Maize Seed Buds显示文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to improve the genetic transformation rate of maize. [Methods]The seeds of maize ' Zheng 58' as the experimental material were germinated and treated under freezing temperature of-18 ℃ for 30 and 35 min. The EGFP gene was transformed into the growth points of these seed buds by Agrobacterium tumefaciens EHA105. The transformation effect was determined by fluorescence protein detection on transformed buds. [Results]After a certain period of treatment at-18 ℃ following germination and transformation of maize bud growth points with A. tumefaciens,although the survival rate of maize buds was reduced,the percentage of transformed cells significantly increased. 163-5 An Experiment Setup for Synergetic Effect of Irradiation and LBE in IMP显示文摘Due to its unique properties, such as favorable neutronic characteristic, low melting point(~125 ?C) and highboiling point (> 1 600 ?C), good natural circulation and chemical inertness with water and air (unlike sodium), etc,lead bismuth eutectic (LBE) has been considered as perspective coolant and spallation target for accelerator drivensystems (ADS)[1;2]. The spallation structural materials of ADS will be long-term irradiated with fast neutrons whilesimultaneous being contact with LBE coolant. 17Effects of Acetylacetone Solution Soaking on Agrobacterium - transformed Maize Seed Buds显示文摘[Objectives]The effect of acetosyringone seed soaking on the transformation of maize seed buds was analyzed,so as to improve the genetic transformation efficiency of maize and to provide technical support for transgenic breeding of maize.[Methods]The seeds of the'Zheng 58'maize inbred line were used as experimental materials.When the seeds were germinated,AS was added to the water at concentrations of 70,140,210,and 280μmol/L,respectively,and the seeds germinated without the addition of AS served as the CK.The Agrobacterium-mediated method was used to transform bud growth points of maize seeds,and green fluorescent protein detection was performed on the young shoots transformed with EGFP(enhanced green fluorescent protein)gene.The effect of soaking seeds with acetosyringone solution on the transformation of maize bud growth points by Agrobacterium was studied according to the detection results.[Results]Soaking seeds in acetosyringone solutions for germination had the effect of inhibiting the germination of maize seeds and inhibiting sprout elongation,and the higher the concentration of acetosyringone,the stronger the inhibition.When the concentration of acetosyringone solution was 280μmol/L,the germination rate of seeds was only 36.2%of the CK,while soaking seeds with 70-140μmol/L acetosyringone solution for germination could not only ensure a higher germination rate of maize seeds,but also significantly increased the transformation efficiency of maize bud growth points.When the seeds were soaked with 70μmol/L acetosyringone solution for germination,the positive rate of transformed maize buds was the highest,reaching 32.1%.[Conclusions]When maize bud growth points were used as the receptor of Agrobacterium transformation,soaking seeds with 70-140μmol/L acetosyringone for germination basically did not affect the germination of seeds,and was beneficial to the activation of Agrobacterium,thereby promoting the transformation.Mengyu LYU Fushuang DONG Shuo ZHOU Jianfang CHAI He ZHAO Yongwei LIU Fan YANG Bo JIAO Xiaoyu LI Junmin ZHANG Haibo WANG 2021Agricultural Biotechnology2021,10,3:0
18Supervised learning with probability interpretation in airfoil transition judgment显示文摘Transition prediction has always been a frontier issue in the field of aerodynamics.A supervised learning model with probability interpretation for transition judgment based on experimental data was developed in this paper.It solved the shortcomings of the point detection method in the experiment,that which was often only one transition point could be obtained,and comparison of multi-point data was necessary.First,the Variable-Interval Time Average(VITA)method was used to transform the fluctuating pressure signal measured on the airfoil surface into a sequence of states which was described by Markov chain model.Second,a feature vector consisting of one-step transition matrix and its stationary distribution was extracted.Then,the Hidden Markov Model(HMM)was used to pre-classify the feature vectors marked using the traditional Root Mean Square(RMS)criteria.Finally,a classification model with probability interpretation was established,and the cross-validation method was used for model validation.The research results show that the developed model is effective and reliable,and it has strong Reynolds number generalization ability.The developed model was theoretically analyzed in depth,and the effect of parameters on the model was studied in detail.Compared with the traditional RMS criterion,a reasonable transition zone can be obtained using the developed classification model.In addition,the developed model does not require comparison of multi-point data.The developed supervised learning model provides new ideas for the transition detection in flight experiments and other experiments.Binbin WEI Yongwei GAO Dong LI Lei DENG 2023Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,1:0
19RNA interference targeting ω-secalin genes differentially affects the processing quality in a wheat T1BL·1RS translocation line显示文摘Wheat-rye T1BL·1RS translocation lines are widely used,especially in China,but their processing quality is generally poor.An interfering expression vector targeting theω-secalin genes was constructed with the 1Bx7 seed-specific promoter.Biolistic-mediated genetic transformation of the wheat cultivar KN199 carrying the T1BL·1RS translocation generated 10 transgenic lines.Two representative transgenic lines,8-2 and 13-7,were selected for analysis.Compared with the control,the two transformants showed an up to 4.5-fold decrease in totalω-secalins and various levels of decrease inω-gliadins,γ-gliadins,and low-molecular-weight glutenins.A decrease in high molecular weight(HMW)glutenin 1Bx7 was detected only in 8-2,owing possibly to promoter methylation.Increased levels ofα-gliadins were observed in both transformants,but increased levels of HMW glutenins were observed only in 13-7.Line 13-7 showed increases in gluten index,Zeleny sedimentation value,stabilization time,and maximum resistance.Its bread volume was 849.6 mL,an 11.9%increase over that of the control.Line 8-2 showed decreases in these parameters,but its total cake-making quality score was 88,an 17.3%increase over that of the control.The study demonstrates that the same RNAi construct may produce different effects on wheat processing quality and highlights the influence of the vector promoter in RNA interference.Shuo Zhou Cuimian Zhang He Zhao Mengyu Lyu Fushuang Dong Yongwei Liu Fan Yang Haibo Wang Jianfang Chai 2021The Crop Journal2021,9,2:0
20Changes of hepatic biochemical parameters and proteomics in broilers with cold-induced ascites显示文摘Ascites syndrome is still a problem for chicken industry in various parts of the world. Despite the intensive investigations of this syndrome for many years, its pathogenesis remains unclear. The objective of this study was to analyze the difference in hepatic proteomics between ascites and healthy broilers by two-dimensional electrophoresis(2-DE) and matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization-time of flight mass spectrometry(MALDI-TOF-MS). Changes of biochemical parameters of liver and blood were also determined. The results indicated that red blood cell counts(RBC), hematocrit(HCT) and haemoglobin(HGB) of ascites broilers were significantly greater than healthy broilers. Hepatic malondialdehyde(MDA) level of ascites broilers was significantly increased, and the activity of total superoxide dismutase(T-SOD) was significantly decreased. Hepatic lactic acid(LD) level of ascitic broilers were significantly lower than healthy ones. Serum glucose and cholesterol level of ascites broilers were significantly increased, and serum globulin level was significantly decreased in ascites broilers. There was no significant difference in triglyceride(TG) and blood urea nitrogen(BUN) level. The activity of liver hexokinase(HK) and succinodehydrogenase(SDH) in ascites broilers was significantly decreased, and there was no significant difference in the activity of liver pyruvate kinase(PK) and Na+-K+-ATPase. The hepatic proteomics analysis showed that 18 proteins expression difference were identified between ascites and healthy broilers. These proteins were mainly involved in: 1) cytoskeleton; 2) glucose, lipids and amino acid metabolism; 3) cell secretion; 4) cell apoptosis; 5) signal transduction; 6) immune and inflammatory response; and 7) cellular redox homeostasis. Mitochondrial isoform phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase(M-PEPCK) mainly participates in gluconeogenesis of chicken liver. In conclusion, liver oxidative damage was significantly aggravated, but antioxidant capacity was decreased in cold-induced ascites broilers.
