1Temporal variability of water discharge and sediment load of the Yellow River into the sea during 1950-2008显示文摘Based on hydrological data observed at Lijin gauging station from 1950 to 2008, the temporal changes of water discharge and sediment load of the Yellow River into the sea were analyzed by the wavelet analysis, and their impacts on the estuary were investigated in different periods based on the measured coastline and bathymetry data. The results show that: (1) there were three significant periodicities, i.e. annual (0.5-1.0-year), internnual (3.0-6.5-year) and decadal (10.1-14.2-year), in the variations of water discharge and sedi- ment load into the sea, which might be related to the periodic variations of El Nino and Southern Oscillation at long-term timescales. Variations of water discharge and sediment load were varying in various timescales, and their periodic variations were not significant during the 1970s-2000s due to strong human disturbances. (2) The long-term variation of water discharge and sediment load into the sea has shown a stepwise decrease since the 1950s due to the combined influences of human activities and precipitation decrease in the Yellow River Basin, and the human activities were the main cause for the decrease of water discharge and sediment load. 3Temporal Variations of Water Discharge and Sediment Load of Huanghe River,China显示文摘Based on the data from gauging stations,the changes in water discharge and sediment load of the Huanghe (Yellow)River were analyzed by using the empirical mode decomposition(EMD)method.The results show that the periodic oscillation of water discharge and sediment load of the Huanghe River occurs at the interannual,decadal,and multi-decadal scales,caused by the periodic oscillations of precipitation,and El Nio/Southern Oscillation(ENSO)affects water discharge by influencing precipitation distribution and contributes to periodic varations in precipitation and water discharge at interannual timescale.The water discharge and sediment load of the Huanghe River have decreased since the 1960s under the influence of precipitation and huamn activities,and human activities attribute more than precipitation to the reduction in the water discharge and sediment load,furthermore,water abstraction and water-soil conservation practices are the main causes of the decrease in water discharge and sediment load,respectively.The reduction in sediment load has directly impacted on the lower reaches of the Huanghe River and the river delta, causing considerable erosion of the river channel in the lower reaches since the 1970s along with River Delta changing siltation into erosion around 2000.LIU Feng CHEN Shenliang PENG Jun CHEN Guangquan 2012Chinese Geographical Science2012,22,5:3
4L-distribution for multilook polarimetric SAR data and its application in ship detection显示文摘Statistical modeling based on the product model is an effective method to fit the sea clutter of polarimetric synthetic aperture radar(PolSAR) images in nonhomogeneous regions. The generalized Gamma distribution(GΓD) is a kind of distribution with wide coverage, including Weibull, Gamma, inverse Gamma,Fisher, and other distributions;it can be used as a textural variable in the product model because of its coverage and flexibility. The L-distribution is presented to describe the statistical distribution in this product model case. The probability distribution function(PDF) of the multilook covariance matrix is obtained in the L-distribution product model, which is presented in a closed form. Moreover, the statistics are applied to ship detection by the optimal polarimetric detector(OPD), and the analytical expressions of the probability of false alarm(PFA) and the probability of detection(PD) are both derived, which are also extended to derive the PFA of the MPWF detector. 5Determination of paraquat in water samples using a sensitive fluorescent probe titration method显示文摘Paraquat(PQ),a nonselective herbicide,is non-fluorescent in aqueous solutions.Thus,its determination through direct fluorescent methods is not feasible.The supramolecular inclusion interaction of PQ with cucurbit[7]uril was studied by a fluorescent probe titration method.Significant quenching of the fluorescence intensity of the cucurbit[7]uril-coptisine fluorescent probe was observed with the addition of PQ.A new fluorescent probe titration method with high selectivity and sensitivity at the ng/mL level was developed to determine PQ in aqueous solutions with good precision and accuracy based on the significant quenching of the supramolecular complex fluorescence intensity.The proposed method was successfully used in the determination of PQ in lake water,tap water,well water,and ditch water in an agricultural area,with recoveries of 96.73% to 105.77%.The fluorescence quenching values(F) showed a good linear relationship with PQ concentrations from 1.0 × 108 to 1.2× 105 mol/L with a detection limit of 3.35 × 109 mol/L.In addition,the interaction models of the supramolecular complexes formed between the host and the guest were established using theoretical calculations.The interaction mechanism between the cucurbit[7]uril and PQ was confirmed by 1 H NMR spectroscopy.Feihu Yao Hailong Liu Guangquan Wang Liming Du Xiaofen Yin Yunlong Fu 2013Journal of Environmental Sciences2013,25,6:2

8Loess erosion change modeling during heavy rainfall显示文摘A typical gully sub-basin with a complex geomorphological form is used to do a model test of gravity erosion of loess by considering the sequence of slopes in a prototype gully creating a sequence of underlying surface forms in the upper reaches.The results show that the runoff from heavy rainfall is the main external force for the erosion of loess,and also is an important influencing factor to stimulate and intensify the development of gravity erosion.The soil structure and the height of the critical surface have a direct impact on the possibility of gravity erosion.Spatially,the upper section of the drainage channel mainly experiences undercutting and headcut erosion,the middle section mainly experiences lateral erosion and gravity erosion,and the lower section alternately experiences sedimentation or alluvial erosion.Rainfall splash erosion produces a large amount of sand to yield high concentration mud flows in the middle and lower sections of the channel.Because of the mud flows the flood flow is obviously larger than the runoff volume formed by rainfall in a small watershed.The flood formed by high-intensity rainfall brings a large amount of sediment into the downstream rivers along the channel,indicating that under the condition that high-intensity rainfall on the Loess Plateau,lots sediment will enter the Yellow River,and the erosion deformation occurs on all slopes.Further the steep slope drainage flow causes undercutting and lateral erosion,and the soil body moves down along the slope under the action of gravity.The gully in the middle section still experience sediment washing in both depth and width,and the downstream gully continues to experiences sedimentation due to the reduction of the gradient,reflecting the adaptive adjustment of water flow and the boundary.Headcut erosion occurred on almost all slopes during different periods of rainfall,while gravity erosion mostly occurred on steep slope sections during periods of high-intensity rainfall.Hongwu Zhang Guangquan Liu Chensu Zhao Luohao Zhang Qiang Zhang Heng Fu Shuai Cao 2023International Journal of Sediment Research2023,38,1:1
9Pollution morphology characteristics on a superhydrophobic surface and its pollution flashover voltage in DC electric field显示文摘To solve the pollution problem of insulators on ultra-high voltage DC transmission lines,superhydrophobic coatings were presented and their pollution deposit morphology and pollution flashover voltage in electric field were studied by an artificial pollution deposit system.The experimental results show that the pollution on the surface of super-hydrophobic coating is distributed in clusters,which inhibits the chain distribution on the surface of silicone rubber and improves the pollution flashover voltage.Secondly,the competition mechanism of the pollution flashover on the superhydrophobic coating surface was found.This competition mechanism can lead to the failure of the insulation performance of the superhydrophobic coating in severely polluted environments.Finally,a pollution flashover model of superhydrophobic coating is proposed to explain the competition mechanism,which is affected by pollution and the discrete droplets.The conclusions of this study can provide an experimental and theoretical basis for the application of the superhydrophobic coating in the field of UHV DC external insulation.Yijie Liu Yujun Guo Bo Wang Xueqin Zhang Guizao Huang Guangquan Zhang Yicen Liu Qin Deng Guangning Wu 2022High Voltage2022,7,3:1

13Partition-coordinated control of soil and water loss for chestnut forests in the Yanshan Mountain Region, China显示文摘Soil erosion from chestnut forests is one of the most important factors causing land degradation in the Yanshan Mountain Region. A 2-year field study was done to compare the effects on erosion of a control plot(CP), a repaired and maintained horizontal ditch built with an engineering baffle every 6 m(MP 1),and a repaired and maintained horizontal ditch built with an engineering baffle every 8 m(MP 2). The results showed that the slope runoff of chestnut forests was influenced by rainfall characteristic factors.No single rainfall characteristic factor showed dominance for hill slope runoff. The runoff reduction effect of the partition-coordinated erosion control measures(MP 1 and MP 2) was substantial for chestnut forests under high rainfall intensity conditions. However, the runoff reduction efficiency was higher under the conditions of heavy rainfall and low average rainfall intensity than for storms with higher intensity and lower total rainfall. The reduction effect of the partition-coordinated erosion control measures on the runoff and sediment yield of chestnut forest slopes was MP 2 > MP 1 > CP. The runoff reduction rate and erosion reduction rate of MP 2 reached 61.70% and 97.41%, respectively, and that for MP 1 was 54.15% and 85.31%, respectively. 16A Security Enhancement Model Based on Switching Edge Strategy in Interdependent Heterogeneous Cyber-Physical Systems显示文摘With the advent of cross-domain interconnection,large-scale sensor network systems such as smart grids,smart homes,and intelligent transportation have emerged.These complex network systems often have a CPS(Cyber-Physical System)architecture and are usually composed of multiple interdependent systems.Minimal faults between interdependent networks may cause serious cascading failures between the entire system.Therefore,in this paper,we will explore the robustness detection schemes for interdependent networks.Firstly,by calculating the largest giant connected component in the entire system,the security of interdependent network systems under different attack models is analyzed.Secondly,a comparative analysis of the cascade failure mechanism between interdependent networks under the edge enhancement strategy is carried out.Finally,the simulation results verify the impact of system reliability under different handover edge strategies and show how to choose a better handover strategy to enhance its robustness.The further research work in this paper can also help design how to reduce the interdependence between systems,thereby further optimizing the interdependent network system’s structure to provide practical support for reducing the cascading failures.In the later work,we hope to explore our proposed strategies in the network model of real-world or close to real networks.Dandan Zhao Can Liu Guangquan Xu Zhiguo Ding Hao Peng Juan Yu Jianmin Han 2022China Communications2022,19,2:1
17Mechanical Properties of the Cured Laminates on the Hot-press Tackified Preforms in Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Molding显示文摘A hot-press tackified preform was used to improve the uniformity of the laminates thickness and the mechanical properties of the obtained laminates were studied using vacuum assisted resin transfer molding(VARTM). Two modified preforms were prepared under 0.1 and 0.6 MPa in an autoclave and then were used to fabricate the laminates via VARTM. Permeability and thickness distribution of the laminates were obtained by using a special device. Moreover, the tensile and compressive strengths of the obtained laminates were studied and compared with the unmodified ones. Results show that the tackified laminates present a maximum and minimum thickness under 0.1 and 0.6 MPa, respectively. The thicknesses and in-plane permeability of the tackified laminates, with better thickness uniformity, are significantly decreased compared with that of the unmodified cases, while the tensile and compressive strengths of the tackified laminates are improved obviously. 19LncRNA IDH1-AS1 sponges miR-518c-5p to suppress proliferation of epithelial ovarian cancer cell by targeting RMB47显示文摘Long noncoding RNA(lncRNA)IDH1 antisense RNA 1(IDH1-AS1)is involved in the progression of multiple cancers,but its role in epithelial ovarian cancer(EOC)is unknown.Therefore,we investigated the expression levels of IDH1-AS1 in EOC cells and normal ovarian epithelial cells by quantitative real-time PCR(qPCR).We first evaluated the effects of IDH1-AS1 on the proliferation,migration,and invasion of EOC cells through cell counting kit-8,colony formation,EdU,transwell,wound-healing,and xenograft assays.We then explored the downstream targets of IDH1-AS1 and verified the results by a dual-luciferase reporter,qPCR,rescue experiments,and Western blotting.We found that the expression levels of IDH1-AS1 were lower in EOC cells than in normal ovarian epithelial cells.High IDH1-AS1 expression of EOC patients from the Gene Expression Profiling Interactive Analysis database indicated a favorable prognosis,because IDH1-AS1 inhibited cell proliferation and xenograft tumor growth of EOC.IDH1-AS1 sponged miR-518c-5p whose overexpression promoted EOC cell proliferation.The miR-518c-5p mimic also reversed the proliferation-inhibiting effect induced by IDH1-AS1 overexpression.Furthermore,we found that RNA binding motif protein 47(RBM47)was the downstream target of miR-518c-5p,that upregulation of RBM47 inhibited EOC cell proliferation,and that RBM47 overexpressing plasmid counteracted the proliferation-promoting effect caused by the IDH1-AS1 knockdown.Taken together,IDH1-AS1 may suppress EOC cell proliferation and tumor growth via the miR-518c-5p/RBM47 axis.Juan Zhou Yiran Xu Luyao Wang Yu Cong Ke Huang Xinxing Pan Guangquan Liu Wenqu Li Chenchen Dai Pengfei Xu Xuemei Jia 2024The Journal of Biomedical Research2024,38,1:0
