1The Kangding earthquake swarm of November, 2014显示文摘There was an earthquake swarm of two major events of MS6.3 and MS5.8 on the Xianshuihe fault in November, 2014. The two major earthquakes are both strike-slip events with aftershock zone along NW direction.We have analyzed the characteristics of this earthquake sequence. The b value and the h value show the significant variations in different periods before and after the MS5.8earthquake. Based on the data of historical earthquakes, we also illustrated the moderate-strong seismic activity on the Xianshuihe fault. The Kangding earthquake swarm manifests the seismic activity on Xianshuihe fault may be in the late seismic active period. The occurrence of the Kangding earthquake may be an adjustment of the strong earthquakes on the Xianshuihe fault. The Coulomb failure stress changes caused by the historical earthquakes were also given in this article. The results indicate that the earthquake swarm was encouraged by the historical earthquakes since1893, especially by the MS7.5 Kangding earthquake in1955. 2Peptidome analysis of human intrauterine adhesion tissues and the identification of antifibrotic peptide显示文摘Intrauterine adhesion(IUA)is a common clinical endometrial disease,which can severely damage the fertility and quality of life in women.This study aims to find the differentially expressed endogenous peptides and their possible roles in IUA.Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry was used to identify the peptidomic profiling of IUA tissues,and the differentially expressed peptides were screened out.Using real-time quantitative PCR,Western blotting,and immunocytochemistry staining,the function of six endogenous peptides was verified in vitro.It was found that peptide 6(T6)(peptide sequence:TFGGAPGFPLGSPLSSVFPR)could inhibit the expression of TGF-β1-induced cell fibrosis in human endometrial stromal cell line and primary human endometrial stromal cell at a concentration of 50μmol/L.This study provides new targets for further clarifying the formation and prevention of IUA.Xiangdong Hua Yan Zhang Juan Xu Lu Xu Yaqian Shi Dazhen Yang Xiaoyan Gu Sumin Wang Xuemei Jia Feng Xu Jie Chen Xiaoyan Ying 2022The Journal of Biomedical Research2022,36,4:3
3Mercury in soil,vegetable and human hair in a typical mining area in China:Implication for human exposure显示文摘Concentrations of total mercury(T-Hg) and methylmercury(MeHg) in soil, vegetables, and human hair were measured in a mercury mining area in central China. T-Hg and MeHg concentrations in soil ranged from 1.53 to 1054.97 mg/kg and 0.88 to 46.52 μg/kg, respectively.T-Hg concentrations was correlated with total organic carbon(TOC) content(R^2= 0.50, p<0.01)and pH values(R^2= 0.21, p<0.05). A significant linear relationship was observed between MeHg concentrations and the abundance of sulfate-reducing bacteria(SRB)(R^2= 0.39, p<0.05) in soil.Soil incubation experiments amended with specific microbial stimulants and inhibitors showed that Hg methylation was derived from SRB activity. T-Hg and MeHg concentrations in vegetables were 24.79 – 781.02 μg/kg and 0.01 – 0.18 μg/kg, respectively; levels in the edible parts were significantly higher than in the roots(T-Hg: p<0.05; MeHg: p<0.01). Hg species concentrations in rhizosphere soil were positively correlated to those in vegetables(p<0.01), indicating that soil was an important source of Hg in vegetables. Risk assessment indicated that the consumption of vegetables could result in higher probable daily intake(PDI) of T-Hg than the provisional tolerable daily intake(PTDI) for both adults and children. In contrast, the PDI of MeHg was lower than the reference dose. 4A New Index Developed for Fast Diagnosis of Meteorological Roles in Ground-Level Ozone Variations显示文摘China experienced worsening ground-level ozone(O_(2)) pollution from 2013 to 2019. In this study, meteorological parameters, including surface temperature(T_(2)), solar radiation(SW), and wind speed(WS), were classified into two aspects,(1) Photochemical Reaction Condition(PRC = T_(2)× SW) and(2) Physical Dispersion Capacity(PDC = WS). In this way, a Meteorology Synthetic Index(MSI = PRC/PDC) was developed for the quantification of meteorology-induced ground-level O_(2)pollution. The positive linear relationship between the 90 th percentile of MDA8(maximum daily 8-h average) O_(2)concentration and MSI determined that the contribution of meteorological changes to ground-level O-3 varied on a latitudinal gradient, decreasing from ~40% in southern China to 10%–20% in northern China. Favorable photochemical reaction conditions were more important for ground-level O_(2)pollution. 8Hyperactive PI3Kδ predisposes naive T cells to activation via aerobic glycolysis programs显示文摘Activated phosphoinositide 3-kinaseδsyndrome(APDS)is an autosomal-dominant combined immunodeficiency disorder resulting from pathogenic gain-of-function(GOF)mutations in the PIK3CD gene.Patients with APDS display abnormal T cell homeostasis.However,the mechanisms by which PIK3CD GOF contributes to this feature remain unknown.Here,with a cohort of children with PIK3CD GOF mutations from multiple regions of China and a corresponding CRISPR/Cas9 gene-edited mouse model,we reported that hyperactive PI3Kδdisrupted TNaive cell homeostasis in the periphery by intrinsically promoting the growth,proliferation,and activation of TNaive cells.Our results showed that PIK3CD GOF resulted in loss of the quiescence-associated gene expression profile in naive T cells and promoted naive T cells to overgrow,hyperproliferate and acquire an activated functional status.Naive PIK3CD GOF T cells exhibited an enhanced glycolytic capacity and reduced mitochondrial respiration in the resting or activated state.Blocking glycolysis abrogated the abnormal splenic T cell pool and reversed the overactivated phenotype induced by PIK3CD GOF in vivo and in vitro.These results suggest that enhanced aerobic glycolysis is required for PIK3CD GOF-induced overactivation of naive T cells and provide a potential therapeutic approach for targeting glycolysis to treat patients with APDS as well as other immune disorders.Yanjun Jia Qiuyun Yang Yanping Wang Wenyan Li Xuemei Chen Tao Xu Zhirui Tian Minxuan Feng Liang Zhang Wenjing Tang Na Tian Lina Zhou Wenxia Song Xiaodong Zhao 2021Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,7:2

11Stem CO_(2) efflux of Abies fabri in subalpine forests in the Gongga Mountains,Eastern Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Aims Despite the importance of stem cO_(2)efflux(Es)in ecosystem carbon cycling and energy balance,little is known about temporal variation in the temperature coefficient(Q10)and sapwood nitrogen concen-trations([N])and their intrinsic links with Es.The objectives of this study were:(i)to examine the response of Es to temperature in a subalpine region and(ii)to explore the influence of stem diameter and[N]on Es.Also,we will test the hypothesis that(i)Es in trees has thermal acclimation and(ii)Es will be well correlated with diameter at breast height(DBH)and[N].Methods Here,a horizontally oriented soil chamber technique was applied to measure Es of Abies fabri in two subalpine forest stands in Southwestern china from May to December 2014.We also exam-ined the variability in Es,Q10 and[N]in trees and monitored the relationship between temperature,[N],DBH and Es.Important Findings During the measurement period,Es showed an apparent seasonal trend,following the change in air temperature,increasing from May and peaking in July,then continuously decreasing until December.The mean Es for the growing and dormant seasons were 1.45 and 0.25μmol·m^(−2)·s^(−1),respectively,and Es in the mature forest was sig-nificantly higher than in the immature forest.The area-based Es was positively correlated with DBH and sapwood width(SW),while volume-based Es showed negative relationship with DBH and SW.Across the five diameter classes,69.8-89.0%of the variation in Es could be explained by air temperature.The temperature sensitiv-ity(Q10)of Es ranged from 2.98 to 5.61 during the measurement period,with a higher Q10 appearing in the growing season than in the dormant season.There was a significant linear relationship(P<0.01)between[N]and Es(expressed based on two different units).Additionally,exponential models of Es against[N]and air temperature were applied to estimate Es.Guang Zhao Gangcai Liu Wanze Zhu Jixia Zhao Xuemei Wang Yaoyao Wang Min Jia 2017Journal of Plant Ecology2017,10,6:1

16Enantioselective epoxidation of nonfunctionalized alkenes catalyzed by recyclable new homochiral bis-diamine-bridged bi-Mn(salen) complexes显示文摘Three new homochiral bis-diamine-bridged bi-Mn(salen) complexes were synthesized. Their catalysis on asymmetric epoxidation of α-methylstyrene, styrene and indene was studied with NaClO and m-CPBA as oxidants respectively. This homogeneous catalyst exhibited comparable catalytic activity and enantioselectivity to the Jacobsen's catalyst in the asymmetric epoxidation of unfunctionalized olefins. Furthermore, the catalyst could be conveniently recovered and reused at least five times without significant losses of both activity and enantioselectivity. Specially, it also could be efficiently used in large-scale reactions with superior catalytic disposition being maintained at the same level, which provided the potential for the applications in industry. 17Rationalizing Na-ion solvation structure by weakening carbonate solvent coordination ability for high-voltage sodium metal batteries显示文摘Commercial carbonate-based electrolytes feature highly reactive activities with alkali metals,yielding low Coulombic efficiencies and poor cycle life in lithium metal batteries,which possess much higher chemical activity in the rising star sodium metal batteries.To be motivated,we have proposed that decreasing the solvent solvation ability in carbonate-based electrolytes stepwise could enable longterm stable cycling of high-voltage sodium metal batteries.As the solvation capacity reduces,more anions are enticed into the solvation sheath of Na^(+),resulting in the formation of the more desirable interphase layers on the surface of the anode and the cathode.The inorganic-dominated interphases allow highly efficient Na^(+)deposition/stripping processes with a lower rate of dead sodium generation,as well as maintain a stable structure of the high-voltage cathode material.Specifically,the assembled Na||Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(2)F_(3)battery exhibits an accelerated ion diffusion kinetics and achieves a higher capacity retention of 85.9%with during the consecutive 200 cycles under the high voltage of 4.5 V.It is anticipated that the tactics we have proposed could be applicable in other secondary metal battery systems as well.Yan Deng Shuai Feng Zhiwen Deng Ye Jia Xuemei Zhang Changhaoyue Xu Sicheng Miao Meng Yao Kaipeng Wu Yun Zhang Wenlong Cai 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,12:0
18LncRNA IDH1-AS1 sponges miR-518c-5p to suppress proliferation of epithelial ovarian cancer cell by targeting RMB47显示文摘Long noncoding RNA(lncRNA)IDH1 antisense RNA 1(IDH1-AS1)is involved in the progression of multiple cancers,but its role in epithelial ovarian cancer(EOC)is unknown.Therefore,we investigated the expression levels of IDH1-AS1 in EOC cells and normal ovarian epithelial cells by quantitative real-time PCR(qPCR).We first evaluated the effects of IDH1-AS1 on the proliferation,migration,and invasion of EOC cells through cell counting kit-8,colony formation,EdU,transwell,wound-healing,and xenograft assays.We then explored the downstream targets of IDH1-AS1 and verified the results by a dual-luciferase reporter,qPCR,rescue experiments,and Western blotting.We found that the expression levels of IDH1-AS1 were lower in EOC cells than in normal ovarian epithelial cells.High IDH1-AS1 expression of EOC patients from the Gene Expression Profiling Interactive Analysis database indicated a favorable prognosis,because IDH1-AS1 inhibited cell proliferation and xenograft tumor growth of EOC.IDH1-AS1 sponged miR-518c-5p whose overexpression promoted EOC cell proliferation.The miR-518c-5p mimic also reversed the proliferation-inhibiting effect induced by IDH1-AS1 overexpression.Furthermore,we found that RNA binding motif protein 47(RBM47)was the downstream target of miR-518c-5p,that upregulation of RBM47 inhibited EOC cell proliferation,and that RBM47 overexpressing plasmid counteracted the proliferation-promoting effect caused by the IDH1-AS1 knockdown.Taken together,IDH1-AS1 may suppress EOC cell proliferation and tumor growth via the miR-518c-5p/RBM47 axis.Juan Zhou Yiran Xu Luyao Wang Yu Cong Ke Huang Xinxing Pan Guangquan Liu Wenqu Li Chenchen Dai Pengfei Xu Xuemei Jia 2024The Journal of Biomedical Research2024,38,1:0
19Grinding-assisted heterogeneous nucleation of BiOAc on MoS_(2) nanoflowers to heterojunction with good visible-light photocatalytic performance显示文摘Bismuth oxide subacetate(CH3COO(BiO);BiOAc)with a large band gap energy(Eg)was first applied as an ultraviolet-light-driven photocatalyst in our group.MoS_(2)nanoflowers have been used to improve the visible-light photocatalytic activity of bismuth-based semiconductors with wide Eg because of their good visible-light response.Herein,the grinding-assisted solid-state reaction method was used to prepare a MoS_(2)/BiOAc composite to improve the visible-light photoreactivity of BiOAc.As compared with commonly used wet chemical and hydrothermal routes,the grinding-assisted synthesis facilitated heterogeneous nucleation,which was beneficial to achieving close contact and subsequent charge transfer and separation at the interfaces,resulting in enhanced photocatalytic activity for malachite green,methylene blue,and antibiotic tetracycline degradation under visible-light irradiation.Notably,the dispersion in the mixing solution of ethanol and water(v/v=1)of MoS_(2)nanosheets induced self-assembly into flower-like nanostructures,thus enhancing the photocatalytic activity of MoS_(2)/BiOAc.A possible mechanism for visible-light photocatalysis of MoS_(2)/BiOAc was proposed.Huanzhen Liu Qiaofeng Han Xuemei Jia Zichen Shen 2021Particuology2021,19,3:0
20Circular RNA hsa_circ_0007444 inhibits ovarian cancer progression through miR-23a-3p/DICER1 axis显示文摘Ovarian cancer is the second leading cause of death in women with gynecological malignancy in China.Circular RNAs are a class of noncoding regulatory RNAs reported to be involved in cancer development and progression.Previous studies,including our own,have indicated that hsa_circ_0007444 is downregulated in ovarian cancer tissues.This study aims to elucidate the function and mechanism of hsa_circ_0007444 in ovarian cancer progression.The expression of hsa_circ_0007444 is determined by quantitative real-time PCR(qRT-PCR).Cell proliferation,invasion,migration and apoptosis are examined by cell counting-kit 8(CCK-8),transwell and flow cytometry assays.Tumor growth and metastasis are assessed in vivo using Balb/c nude mouse xenograft model and tail vein injection model.And the mechanism of action of hsa_circ_0007444 is analysed by RNA-binding protein immunoprecipitation(RIP),luciferase reporter and rescue assays.hsa_circ_0007444 is downregulated in ovarian cancer tissues and cell lines compared with that in normal ovarian tissues and normal epithelial cell line.Gain-and loss-of-function results indicate that hsa_circ_0007444 inhibits cell proliferation,invasion,migration and increases cell apoptosis of ovarian cancer cells in vitro,and inhibits tumor growth and lung metastasis in vivo.Mechanistically,hsa_circ_0007444 can interact with AGO2 and sponge miR-23a-3p,thereby upregulating DICER1 expression,which is an important tumor suppressor in ovarian cancer.And miR-23a-3p mimics can rescue the inhibitory effect of hsa_circ_0007444 on ovarian cancer cell proliferation,invasion and migration.Therefore,hsa_circ_0007444 can inhibit ovarian cancer progression through the hsa_circ_0007444/miR-23a-3p/DICER1 axis.Min Zhang Yu Sun Hanzi Xu Yaqian Shi Rong Shen Fang Teng Juan Xu Xuemei Jia 2023Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2023,55,4:0
