1Diversity characterization and association analysis of agronomic traits in a Chinese peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) mini-core collection显示文摘Association mapping is a powerful approach for exploring the molecular basis of phenotypic variations in plants.A peanut(Arachis hypogaea L.)mini-core collection in China comprising 298 accessions was genotyped using 109 simple sequence repeat(SSR)markers,which identified 554 SSR alleles and phenotyped for 15 agronomic traits in three different environments,exhibiting abundant genetic and phenotypic diversity within the panel.A model-based structure analysis assigned all accessions to three groups.Most of the accessions had the relative kinship of less than 0.05,indicating that there were no or weak relationships between accessions of the mini-core collection.For 15 agronomic traits in the peanut panel,generally the Q t K model exhibited the best performance to eliminate the false associated positives compared to the Q model and the general linear model-simple model.In total,89SSR alleles were identified to be associated with 15 agronomic traits of three environments by the Q t K model-based association analysis.Of these,eight alleles were repeatedly detected in two or three environments,and 15 alleles were commonly detected to be associated with multiple agronomic traits.Simple sequence repeat allelic effects confirmed significant differences between different genotypes of these repeatedly detected markers.Our results demonstrate the great potential of integrating the association analysis and marker-assisted breeding by utilizing the peanut mini-core collection.Huifang Jiang Li Huang Xiaoping Ren Yuning Chen Xiaojing Zhou Youlin Xia Jiaquan Huang Yong Lei Liying Yan Liyun Wan Boshou Liao 2014Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2014,56,2:14

3Reduning injection for fever, rash, and ulcers in children with mild hand, foot, and mouth disease: a randomized controlled clinical study显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To assess the efficacy and safety of Reduning injection for fever, rash, and ulcers in children with mild hand, foot, and mouth disease(HFMD). METHODS: A stratified-block randomized, double-blind, parallel-controlled, and multicenter clinical trial was conducted with 360 patients in five hospitals across China: Quanzhou Children's Hospital, Shijiazhuang No. 5 Hospital, Shanghai Public Health Centre, Hunan Provincial Children's Hospital, and Kaifeng Children's Hospital. Patients were randomized into three groups with 120 in each. Group A was treated with Western Medicine, group B with Reduning injection, a Chinese herbal medicine, and group C with both Reduning injection and Western Medicine. Results were compared for treatment efficacy and safety on HFMD. The clinical outcomes were observed as follows: fever and onset time of antifebrile effect(time to bring the body temperature down ≥0.5℃ after medication); cumulative time for fever recovery(body temperature recovering to normal and lasting more than 24 h without medication); cumulative time for rash disappearance(without new rashes or ulcers appearing and the original ones fading away); and cumulative time for mouth ulcer disappearance. RESULTS: For the onset time of the antifebrile effect, there was no statistical difference between groups A and B(P>0.05) and groups B and C(P> 0.05). However, there was a statistical difference between groups A and C(P<0.05), and the effect in group C was the best. For the cumulative time for rash disappearance, there was no statistical difference between groups A and B(P>0.05). There were statistical differences between groups A and C, and groups B and C(P<0.05), and the effect in group C was the best. For the cumulative time for mouth ulcers disappearance, there were no statistical differences among the three groups(P>0.05). CONCLUSION: Reduning injection with Western Medicine for symptomatic treatment is most effective for mild HFMD. 5Statistical and frequency analysis of the pressure fluctuation in a fluidized bed of non-spherical particles显示文摘In this paper,the pressure fluctuation in a fluidized bed was measured and processed via standard deviation and power spectrum analysis to investigate the dynamic behavior of the transition from the bubbling to turbulent regime.Two types[Geldart B and D) of non-spherical particles,screened from real bed materials,and their mixture were used as the bed materials.The experiments were conducted in a semiindustrial testing apparatus.The experimental results indicated that the fluidization characteristics of the non-spherical Geldart D particles differed from that of the spherical particles at gas velocities beyond the transition velocity U_c.The standard deviation of the pressure fluctuation measured in the bed increased with the gas velocity,while that measured in the plenum remained constant.Compared to the coarse particles,the fine particles exerted a stronger influence on the dynamic behavior of the fluidized bed and promoted the fluidization regime transition from bubbling toward turbulent.The power spectrum of the pressure fluctuation was calculated using the auto-regressive(AR) model;the hydrodynamics of the fluidized bed were characterized by the major frequency of the power spectrum of the pressure fluctuation.By combining the standard deviation analysis,a new method was proposed to determine the transition velocity U_k via the analysis of the change in the major frequency.The first major frequency was observed to vary within the range of 1.5 to 3 Hz.Honghao He Xiaofeng Lu Wei Shuang Quanhai Wang Yinhu Kang Liyun Yan Xuanyu Ji Guangyu Luo Hai Liu 2014Particuology2014,12,5:6

7Xiyanping injection therapy for children with mild hand foot and mouth disease:a randomized controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the clinical effects of Xiyan-ping injection intervention in pediatric patients with mild hand foot and mouth disease(HFMD).METHODS: A total of 329 patients were stratified and block-randomized for symptomatic treatment of HFMD and assigned to one of the following groups: Western Medicine(group A, n = 103), Xiyanping injection(group B, n = 109), or Xiyanping injection and symptomatic treatment using Western Medicine(group C, n = 117). During the trial, fever,rash, ulcers of the mouth were observed among participants in each group before and after treatment, and conversion rates from mild to severe HFMD were measured.RESULTS: After 3-7 days' treatment, no significant differences in the conversion rates from mild to severe HFMD were observed among the three groups(P > 0.05). There was a significantly low number of patients with the onset time of antifebrile effect,vanished time of hand and foot rashes and cumulative time for the ulcers in the mouth vanished,among the three groups(P < 0.05, P < 0.01). The onset time of antifebrile effect of patients in groups B and C were markedly shorter compared with those in group A(P < 0.05, P < 0.01); there was no statically significant difference observed between groups B and C(P > 0.05). No significant differences were observed in the time for body temperature recovery among the three groups(P > 0.05). There were no significant differences in adverse effects among the three groups(P > 0.05).CONCLUSION: Xiyanping injection together with use of Western Medicine is most effective for symptomatic treatment of mild HFMD. 9Phenotypic identification of peanut germplasm for resistance to southern stem rot显示文摘Southern stem rot,caused by Sclerotium rolfsii Sacc.,is a destructive soil fungal disease of peanut in China and other countries.To evaluate resistant germplasm,a total of 256 peanut accessions were investigated on their resistance to southern stem rot in 3 environments by artificial inoculation.Variance analysis indicated that disease index was significantly influenced by environment,genotype and genotypeenvironment interactions.Peanut accessions of var.vulgaris type exhibited higher resistance to southern stem rot.Disease index was significantly negatively correlated with linoleic acid content,while positively correlated with oleic acid content.Six resistant accessions were identified,including Hua 28,Shandongzai,ICG 6326,Quanhua 7,Quanhua 9 and Guihua 836,with their disease indexes under 40 and mortality were less than 30%in the three environments.The identified resistant accessions showed the great potential to be applied in resistant peanut breeding,and would be good genetic resources for enhancing the resistance to southern stem rot.Pengmin Fan Wanduo Song Yanping Kang Liyun Wan Yong Lei Dongxin Huai Yuning Chen Xin Wang Huifang Jiang Liying Yan Boshou Liao 2020Oil Crop Science2020,5,4:3
10Microstructure and mechanical properties of hot isostatically pressed cermets with TiN coatings显示文摘To increase the adhesion strength between the coating and the substrate, sintered Ti(C,N)-based cermets were se- lected and deposited with monolayer TiN using a multiarc ion-plating technique; subsequently, hot isostatic pressing (HIP- ing) treatment was performed at 1000°C using nitrogen pressure up to 110 MPa. The mechanical properties of cermets after a coating process and subsequent HIPing treatment have been evaluated with respect to the hardness, the residual stress, and the coating adhesion. The results show that after the HIPing process, there was a higher increase in critical load in the TiN-coated cermets with lower surface roughness compared with those with higher surface roughness. In all cases, the re- sidual stress was found to be compressive. The effects of substrate surface roughness and posttreatment on the adhesion strength of the coatings were thus investigated. 11Genetic diversity of atoxigenic Aspergillus flavus isolates from peanut kernels in China显示文摘Aflatoxin contamination in peanuts is a major threat to public health, especially in tropical and subtropical regions of the world. Recently, the use of atoxigenic Aspergillus flavus strains as biological control agents prove to be effective in reducing aflatoxin contamination in crops. A total of 208 atoxigenic A. flavus isolates, collected from peanut kernels, were grouped into 7 deletion patterns by quadruplex PCR products of nor-1, ver-1, aflR and omtA genes. 49 SNPs, found in 1254 bp fragment of omtA gene, showed genetic variation of omtA among different A. flavus isolates. These isolates were assigned to either MAT1-1 type or MAT1-2 type with primers for each MAT locus. Thus, rich genetic diversity was found in the atoxigenic A. flavus isolates of peanut in China. 13Study on the microwave-assisted extraction of polyphenols from tea显示文摘This study demonstrated a promising method for quickly extracting tea polyphenol(TP)by microwaveassisted extraction(MAE)technology.Some influential parameters,including MAE temperature,microwave power,concentration of extraction solvent,MAE time and the solid/liquid ratio,were investigated.The optimum condition of MAE was obtained by dual extraction with 60%ethanol(v/v)and the solid/liquid ratio 1:12 g/mL at 80℃ for 10 minutes under the microwave power 600W.The yield of TP was 96.5%under the described condition.Compared with traditional methods,including hot reflux extraction(HRE),ultrasound-assisted extraction(UAE)and supercritical fluid extraction(SFE),the extraction time was saved 8 times than that of HRE,and the yield was increased by 17.5%.The extraction time at comparable levels of production was saved 2 times,and the energy consumption was one fourth that of UAE.The extraction time was saved 5 times than that of SFE,and the yield of TP was increased by 40%.Moreover,compared with MAE of TP studied by others,it decreased the solid/liquid ratio from 1∶20 to 1∶12 g/mL without 90-min pre-leaching time,and the yield of TP was increased by 6%-40%.Liyun WANG Peiyong QIN Yan HU 2010Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2010,4,3:2

In this regard, we present an overview of the research progresses on the greener synthesis of graphene, including micromechanical exfoliation, chemical reduction of graphene oxide (GO), chemical vapor synthesis and popping of GO. 15Antibacterial evaporator based on reduced graphene oxide/polypyrrole aerogel for solar-driven desalination显示文摘Solar-driven water evaporation is a sustainable method to purify seawater.Nevertheless,traditional volumetric water-evaporation systems suffer from the poor sunlight absorption and inefficient light-to-thermal conversion.Also,their anti-bacterial and antifouling performances are crucial for the practical application.Herein,we introduce reduced graphene oxide(RGO)with broadband absorbance across the entire solar spectrum,and polypyrrole(PPy),an antibacterial polymer with efficient solar absorption and low thermal conductivity,to develop integrated RGO/PPy aerogel as both the solar absorber and evaporator for highly efficient solar-driven steam generation.As a result,the RGO/PPy aerogel shows strong absorption and good photothermal performance,leading to an evaporation rate of 1.44 kg·m^(−2)·h^(−1)and high salt rejection(up to 99.99%)for real seawater,with photothermal conversion efficiency>90%under one sun irradiation.The result is attributed to the localized heat at the air-water interface by the RGO/PPy and its porous nature with functional groups that facilitates the water evaporation.Moreover,the RGO/PPy demonstrates excellent durability and antibacterial efficiency close to 100%for 12 h,crucial characteristics for longterm application.Our well-designed RGO/PPy aerogel with efficient water desalination performance and antibacterial property provides a straightforward approach to improve the solar-driven evaporation performance by multifunctional materials integration,and offers a viable route towards practical seawater desalination.Mengru Zhang Fan Xu Wenjie Liu Yaqi Hou Liyun Su Xin Zhang Ruihua Zhang Lijun Zhou Xiaomei Yan Miao Wang Xu Hou Yang Cao 2023Nano Research2023,16,4:2

17Identification of major QTL for seed number per pod on chromosome A05 of tetraploid peanut(Arachis hypogaea L.)显示文摘The inheritance of pod-and seed-number traits(PSNT) in peanut(Arachis hypogaea L.) is poorly understood. In the present study, a recombinant inbred line(RIL) population of 188 lines was used to map quantitative trait loci(QTL) for number of seeds per pod(NSP),number of pods per plant(NPP), and numbers of one-, two-, and three-seeded pods per plant(N1 PP, N2 PP, and N3 PP) in four environments. A total of 28 consensus QTL and 14 single QTL were identified, including 11 major and stable QTL. Four major and stable QTL including qN3 PPA5.2, q N3 PPA5.4, qN3 PPA5.5, and qN3 PPA5.7 each explained 12.3%–33.0% of phenotype variation. By use of another integrated linkage map for the A5 group(hereafter referred to as INT A5 group), QTL for PSNT were located in seven intervals of 0.73–9.68 Mb in length on chromosome A05, and candidate genes underlying N3 PP were suggested. These findings shed light on the genetic basis of PSNT. 18The Chinese herbal formula Tongluo Jiunao promotes expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor/tropomyosin-related kinase B pathways in a rat model of ischemic brain injury显示文摘The neurotrophin-Trk receptor pathway is an intrinsic pathway to relieve damage to the central nervous system. The present study observed the effects of Tongluo Jiunao (TLJN), which comprises Panax Notoginseng and Gardenia Jasminoides, on expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and tropomyosin-related kinase B (TrkB) in a rat model of focal cerebral ischemic injury. Xue Sai Tong (XST), comprising Panax Notoginseng, served as the positive control. Mechanisms of neuroprotection were analyzed following TLJN injection. Following establishment of the middle cerebral artery occlusion models, TLJN and XST were intraperitoneally injected, and 2, 3, 5-triphenyltetrazolium chloride staining results revealed that TLJN injection reduced infarct volume, suggesting that TLJN exerted a neuroprotective effect. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay results showed that TLJN elevated BDNF and growth associated protein-43 expression in ischemic brain tissues, as well as serum BDNF levels. Reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction and western blot results showed that TLJN injection did not affect TrkB expression in the ischemic brain tissues of rats. These results suggested that TLJN injection reduced damage to ischemic brain tissues and increased BDNF expression.
