1Progress of safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L.) regeneration through tissue culture显示文摘Background: Safflower regeneration through tissue culture has long been limited to low frequency and lack of an efficient protocol that suitable for most safflower cultivars. In past decades, researches had been carried out to investigate safflower regeneration through tissue culture and great progress had been made. Objective: To investigate factors that affect safflower regeneration through tissue culture principally. Methods: This article summarized available literatures about advancements in safflower regeneration, especially discussed factors affecting safflower tissue culture in detail. Results: Safflower regeneration was fairly hard than other congeneric plants, such as chrysanthemum. The genotype, seedling age, type of explants, medium components, plant growth regulators and other additives all had specific influences on safflower tissue culture. 3Exhumation history and preservation of the Jiaojia giant gold deposit, Jiaodong Peninsula显示文摘The Jiaojia giant gold deposit is the largest gold deposit in China, with a total gold reserve of approximately 1200 t.Until now, the knowledge of the exhumation history of post-mineralization period is limited, in particular for the low-temperature thermochronology studies of samples below-1000 m. In this work, we combined zircon fission-track(ZFT) and apatite fission-track(AFT) dating of samples between-1100 and-2000 m to determine the post-mineralization cooling and exhumation history of the Jiaojia giant gold deposit. The ZFT ages ranged from 144.2±6.3 to 124.4±5.5 Ma, representing the cooling period and the disturbance of ore-forming fluid. The AFT ages ranged from 28.1±2.6 to 16.2±1.0 Ma, recording the exhumation and cooling processes. With reference to previous low-temperature thermochronology studies in the Jiaojia goldfield, we estimated the exhumation rate and amount of the Jiaojia giant gold deposit and reconstructed its exhumation and preservation history. The exhumation history was divided into four stages, rapid exhumation(~120–95 Ma), relatively slow exhumation(~95–50 Ma),slow exhumation(~50–30 Ma) and relatively rapid exhumation(since 30 Ma). Each stage corresponds to geological events related to the basin-mountain coupling that have occurred since the Cretaceous in the Jiaodong area, namely, a strong tectonic extension and volcanic eruption in the Jiaolai Basin, subsidence of the Jiaolai Basin and Wangshi Group molasse sedimentary,tectonic quiescence, and the Linqu Group basalt eruption of the Jiaobei uplift. Our results show that the exhumation of the Jiaojia giant gold deposit is ~5.2±1.2 km and the orebody erosion degree is relatively low, indicating huge prospecting potential deep in the Jiaojia giant gold deposit. 5Simultaneous determination of eight bioactive bakkenolides of Petasites tatewakianus Kitam by HPLC–UV显示文摘A high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with variable wavelength detection(HPLC–UV)was developed to evaluate the quality of Petasites tatewakianus Kitam through a simultaneous determination of eight bakkenolides:bakkenolide-L,bakkenolide-D,bakkenolide-B,bakkenolide-Ⅰa,bakkenolide-Ⅶa,bakkenolide-Ⅳa,bakkenolide-Ⅲa and homofukinolide.With a C18 analytical column,the eight analytes were efficiently separated using tetrahydrofuran–acetonitrile–water as the mobile phase in a constant program.The limits of detection and limits of quantitation of the method ranged 0.42–2.56μg/mL and 1.22–8.40μg/mL,respectively.The intra-and inter-day precisions of the method were all less than 1.83%.All the recoveries for the spiked analytes ranged 97.8%–102.4%.There were statistically significant differences among the contents of the eight bakkenolides in different parts and origins of P.tatewakianus(Po0.01).The content of total bakkenolides in rhizome was higher than that in other parts of the plant.The content of total bakkenolides in rhizome from Baishan was higher than those in other localities.The result suggested that rhizome may be the most valuable part of P.tatewakianus,and P.tatewakianus from Baishan may be the best plant resource.Our results might serve as a sound foundation for further study and application of this plant.Jianming He Qin Wang Yan Wang Ruibing Chen Yuyang Zhang Meili Guo 2013Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2013,3,5:1

10Electronic structures and NIR-II optical properties of black phosphorus using first principles显示文摘Near infrared-II(NIR-II, 1 000-1 700 nm) imaging with high penetration tissue depth and signal-noise ratio has attracted wide interest in biomedicine. As a two-dimensional(2D) material with narrow band gap, the band structure of layered black phosphorus, as an important characteristic of electronic structure, determines the electronic transport and infrared optical properties, which show great potential in NIIR-II imaging. Here, the electronic structure and NIR-II optical properties of black phosphorus have been investigated in detail by employing the generalized gradient approximation + U(GGA+U) correction based on density functional theory(DFT). First, we performed the band structure and density of states for different layers of black phosphorus. From the electronic structures, the location of valence band maximum didn’t shift obviously, and the position of conduction band minimum shifted downward gradually, inducing the band gaps decreased gradually with the increasing layer number. While the layer number increased to 5, the behaviour of electronic structure was very similar to that of the bulk black phosphorus. Then, we calculated the NIR-II optical properties, and found the optical band gap of black phosphorus also showed layer dependent properties. From a single layer to 5 layers, the optical band gap changed from 1.71 e V to 0.92 e V. It is noting that black phosphorus also showed the significant optical absorption in NIR-IIa(1 300-1 400 nm) and NIR-IIb(1 500-1 700 nm) windows. 12AT1-receptor autoantibody exposure inutero contributes to cardiac dysfunction and increased glycolysis in fetal mice显示文摘Exposure to adverse factors in utero may lead to adaptive changes in cardiac structure and metabolism,which increases the risk of chronic cardiovascular disease later in life.Studies showed that the angiotensin II type 1 receptor autoantibodies(AT1-AAs)are able to cross the placenta into the circulation of pregnant rodents'embryo,which adversely affects embryogenesis.However,the effects of AT1-AA exposure on the fetal heart in utero are still unknown.In this study,we investigated whether intrauterine AT1-AA exposure has adverse effects on fetal heart structure,function and metabolism.AT1-AA-positive pregnant mouse models were successfully established by passive imm unity,evidenced by increased AT1-AA content.M orphological and ultrasonic results showed that the fetal mice on em bryonic day 18(E18)of AT1-AA group have loose and disordered myocardial structure,and decreased left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)and left ventricular fractional shortening(LVFS),compared with control groups.The m yocardium of AT1-AA group fetal mice on E18 exhibited increased expression of the key molecules in the glycolytic pathway,pyruvate and lactic acid content and ATP production,suggesting that the glycolysis rate was enhanced.Furthermore,the enhanced effect of glycolysis caused by AT1-AA is mainly through the PPARβ/δ pathway.These data confirm ed that fetus exposure to AT1-AA in utero developed left ventricular dysfunction,m yocardial structural arrangement disorders,and enhanced glycolysis on E18.Our results support AT1-AA being a potentially harmful factor fo r cardiovascular disease in fetal mice.Lina Bai Meili W ang Suli Zhang Mingming Yue Yuhao Guo Pengli Wang Huirong Liu 2020Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,12:0

14Depletion of conventional mature B cells and compromised specific antibody response in bovine immunoglobulin μ heavy-chain transgenic mice显示文摘In this study,we introduced the bovine immunoglobulinμheavy-chain gene(the orphaned gene on BTA11)into mouse germline cells.Bovine IgM was highly expressed in selected transgenic lines,and it largely inhibited rearrangements of the endogenous immunoglobulin heavy chain(IgH)genes in these lines.The forced expression of bovine IgM resulted in reduced numbers of pro-and pre-B cells but increased the number of immature B cells in the transgenic mice.Bovine IgM-expressing B cells can migrate from the bone marrow to the spleen,but most of the cells are arrested at the T1 transitional B cell stage,leading to a significantly lower number of T2 transitional and mature B cells in the spleen.Although the serum concentrations of endogenous IgM and IgG in the transgenic mice were significantly decreased,the IgA levels were slightly increased compared to the WT mice.The bovine IgM level in the serum was only one-tenth to one-fifth of that of endogenous mouse IgM,suggesting that most of the serum immunoglobulin were contributed by endogenous IgH gene-expressing B cells.These transgenic mice also exhibited a lower frequency of unique complementarity determining region 3(CDR3)sequences in their VH repertoire and Vκrepertoire but exhibited an increased frequency of unique CDR3 in their Vλrepertoire.Compared to the WT mice,the transgenic mice had a significantly higher percentage of mouse IgMexpressing B cells that expressedλchains.Finally,we showed that the transgenic mice were deficient in a specific antibody response to antigen stimulation.Min ZHANG Xueqian CHENG Dan CHU Jingwen LIANG Yi SUN Li MA Beilei XU Min ZHENG Meili WANG Liming REN Xiaoxiang HU Qingyong MENG Ran ZHANG Ying GUO Yunping DAI Robert AITKEN Ning LI Yaofeng ZHAO 2014Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering2014,1,2:0
15Asperterzine,a symmetric aromatized derivative of epipolythiodioxopiperazine,from the endophytic fungus Aspergillus terreus PR-P-2显示文摘A new epipolythiodioxopiperazine(ETP), asperterzine(1), along with two known analogs, bisdethiobis(methylthio)-acetylaranotin(2) and bisdethiobis(methylthio)-acetylapoaranotin(3), was isolated from the plant endophytic fungus Aspergillus terreus PR-P-2. The structure elucidation of 1 was accomplished by a combination of spectral methods and electronic circular dichroism(ECD) spectrum. Asperterzine(1)was a symmetric aromatized ETP found as a natural product for the first time. Compounds 2 and 3 showed strong cytotoxicity against HL-60 cell line.
