1Identification of Odor Volatile Compounds and Deodorization ofPaphia undulata Enzymatic Hydrolysate显示文摘Unfavorable fishy odour is an inevitable problem in aquatic products. In the present study, headspace solid-phase microextraction gas chromatography mass spectrometry(HS-SPME-GC-MS) analysis of volatiles from untreated samples and three deodorized samples(under the optimal conditions) of Paphia undulata enzymatic hydrolysate revealed that the compounds contributing to the distinctive odor were 1-octen-3-ol, n-hexanal, n-heptanal, 2,4-heptadienal, and 2,4-decadienal, whereas n-pentanal, n-octanal, n-octanol, benzaldehyde, 2-ethylfuran and 2-pentylfuran were the main contributors to the aromatic flavor. The deodorizing effects of activated carbon(AC) adsorption, yeast extract(YE) masking and tea polyphenol(TP) treatment on a P. undulata enzymatic hydrolysate were investigated using orthogonal experiments with sensory evaluation as the index. The following optimized deodorization conditions were obtained: AC adsorption(35 mg mL^(-1), 80℃, 40 min), YE masking(7 mg mL^(-1), 45℃, 30 min) and TP treatment(0.4 mg mL^(-1), 40℃, 50 min). AC adsorption effectively removed off-flavor volatile aldehydes and ketones. YE masking modified the odor profile by increasing the relative contents of aromatic compounds and decreasing the relative contents of aldehydes and ketones. The TP treatment was not effective in reducing the odor score, but it significantly reduced the relative content of aldehydes while increasing that of alkanes. 2Ultrasonic Extraction of Polysaccharides from Laminaria japonica and Their Antioxidative and Glycosidase Inhibitory Activities显示文摘In the present study, ultrasonic extraction technique(UET) is used to improve the yield of polysaccharides from Laminaria japonica(LJPs). And their antioxidative as well as glycosidase inhibitory activities are investigated. Box-Behnken design(BBD) combined with response surface methodology(RSM) is applied to optimize ultrasonic extraction for polysaccharides. The optimized conditions are obtained as extraction time at 54 min, ultrasonic power at 1050 W, extraction temperature at 80℃ and ratio of material to solvent at 1:50(g m L-1). Under these optimal ultrasonic extraction conditions, an actual experimental yield(5.75% ± 0.3%) is close to the predicted result(5.67%) with no significant difference(P > 0.05). Vitro antioxidative and glycosidase inhibitory activities tests indicate that the crude polysaccharides(LJP) and two major ethanol precipitated fractions(LJP1 and LJP2) are in a concentration-dependent manner. LJP2(30%-60% ethanol precipitated polysaccharides) possesses the strongest α-glucosidase inhibitory activity and moderate scavenging activity against hydroxyl radicals(66.09% ± 2.19%, 3.0 mg m L-1). Also, the inhibitory activity against α-glucosidase(59.08% ± 3.79%, 5.0 mg m L-1) is close to that of acarbose(63.99% ± 3.27%, 5.0 mg m L-1). LJP1(30% ethanol precipitated polysaccharides) exhibits the strongest scavenging activity against hydroxyl radicals(99.80% ± 0.00%, 3.0 mgm L-1) and moderate α-glucosidase inhibitory activity(47.76% ± 1.92%, 5.0 mg m L-1). LJP shows the most remarkable DPPH scavenging activity(66.20% ± 0.11%, 5.0 mg m L-1) but weakest α-glucosidase inhibitory activity(37.77% ± 1.30%, 5.0 mg m L-1). However, all these LJPs exert weak inhibitory effects against α-amylase. These results show that UET is an effective method for extracting bioactive polysaccharides from seaweed materials. LJP1 and LJP2 can be developed as a potential ingredient in hypoglycemic agents or functional food for the management of diabetes. 3The effects of orientation control via tension-compression on microstructural evolution and mechanical behavior of AZ31 Mg alloy sheet显示文摘The grain orientation control via twinning activity on deformation features is of great significance to offer a key insight into understanding the deformation mechanism of Mg alloy sheets.The{10–12}twinning were performed by pre-strain paths,i.e.,tension(6%)and compression(5%)perpendicular to the c-axis along extrusion direction(ED),to investigate the microstructural evolution and mechanical properties of AZ31 Mg alloy sheets.The distinction in the texture evolution and strain hardening behavior was illustrated in connection with the pre-strain paths for the activities of twinning and slip.The result shows that the activation of the deformation mode was closely bound up with the grain orientation and the additional applied load direction.The{10–12}twin-texture components with c-axis//ED were generated by precompression,which can provide an appropriate alternative to accommodate the thin sheet thickness strain and enhance the room temperature formability of Mg alloy sheet.Qingshan Yang Bin Jiang Bo Song Zujian Yu Dewei He Yanfu Chai Jianyue Zhang Fusheng Pan 2022Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2022,10,2:4
4Optical detection of Prorocentrum donghaiense blooms based on multispectral reflectance显示文摘Prorocentrum donghaiense is one of the most common red tide causative dinoflagellates in the Changjiang(Yangtze)River Estuary and the adjacent area of the East China Sea.It causes large-scale blooms in late spring and early summer that lead to widespread ecologic and economic damage.A means for distinguishing dinoflagellate blooms from diatom(Skeletonema costatum)blooms is desired.On the basis of measurements of remote sensing reflectance[Rrs(λ)]and inherent optical parameters,the potential of using a multispectral approach is assessed for discriminating the algal blooms due to P.donghaiense from those due to S.costatum.The behavior of two reflectance ratios[R1=Rrs(560)/Rrs(532)and R2=Rrs(708)/Rrs(665)],suggests that differentiation of P.donghaiense blooms from diatom bloom types is possible from the current band setup of ocean color sensors.It is found that there are two reflectance ratio regimes that indicate a bloom is dominated by P.donghaiense:(1)R1>1.55 and R2<1.0 or(2)R1>1.75 and R21.0.Various sensitivity analyses are conducted to investigate the effects of the variation in varying levels of chlorophyll concentration and colored dissolved organic matter(CDOM)as well as changes in the backscattering ratio(bbp/bp)on the efficacy of this multispectral approach.Results indicate that the intensity and inherent optical properties of the algal species explain much of the behavior of the two ratios.Although backscattering influences the amplitude of Rrs(λ),especially in the 530 and 560 nm bands,the discrimination between P.donghaiense and diatoms is not significantly affected by the variation of bbp/bp.Since aCDOM(440)in coastal areas of the ECS is typically lower than 1.0 m 1in most situations,the presence of CDOM does not interfere with this discrimination,even as SCDOM varies from 0.01 to 0.026 nm 1.Despite all of these effects,the discrimination of P.donghaiense blooms from diatom blooms based on multispectral measurements of Rrs(λ)is feasible.TAO Bangyi PAN Delu MAO Zhihua SHEN Yuzhang ZHU Qiankun CHEN Jianyu 2013Acta Oceanologica Sinica2013,32,10:3
5Dual-channel type tunable field-effect transistors based on vertical bilayer WS2(1−x)Se2x/SnS2 heterostructures显示文摘Layered semiconductor heterostructures are essential elements in modern electronic and optoelectronic devices.Dynamically engineering the composition of these heterostructures may enable the flexible design of the properties of heterostructure-based electronics and optoelectronics as well as their optimization.Here,we report for the first time a two-step chemical vapor deposition approach for a series of WS2(1−x)Se2x/SnS2 vertical heterostructures with high-quality and large areas.The steady-state photoluminescence results exhibit an obvious composition-related quenching ratio,revealing a strong coherence between the band offset and the charge transfer efficiency at the junction interface.Based on the achieved heterostructures,dual-channel backgate field-effect transistors were successfully designed and exhibited typical composition-dependent transport behaviors,and pure n-type unipolar transistors to ambipolar transistors were realized in such systems.The direct vapor growth of these novel vertical WS2(1−x)Se2x/SnS2 heterostructures could offer an interesting system for probing new physical properties and provide a series of layered heterostructures for high-quality devices.Biyuan Zheng Dong Li Chenguang Zhu Jianyue Lan Xingxia Sun Weihao Zheng Huawei Liu Xuehong Zhang Xiaoli Zhu Yexin Feng Tao Xu Litao Sun Gengzhao Xu Xiao Wang Chao Ma Anlian Pan 2020InfoMat2020,2,4:3
6The tribological behavior of a surface-nanocrystallized magnesium alloy AZ31 sheet after ultrasonic shot peening treatment显示文摘A magnesium alloy AZ31 sheet was processed by ultrasonic shot peening treatment to fabricate a surface nanocrystalline,and a ball-on-disk dry sliding wear test was performed to evaluate the tribological behavior after treatment.The microstructure observation indicated a gradient nanocrystalline structure was formed after USSP treatment.The microhardness at the top surface was improved from 60 HV to 145 HV after treatment.The formed nanocrystalline resulted in an easy formation of MgO patches on the surface and reduced the coefficient of friction.Moreover,the formed nanocrystalline leaded to a retard of delamination with increasing the sliding speed and applied load,which was due to its stronger sub-surface.Under high sliding speed(0.5 m/s)and high applied load(50 N),it was firstly found that the formed nanocrystalline prevented the happening of thermal softening and melting.The possible reasons accounting for the prevention of thennal softening and melting were discussed accordingly.Jianyue Zhang Yongxin Jian Xuzhe Zhao Dean Meng Fusheng Pan Qingyou Han 2021Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2021,9,4:3
7Arsenic Removal from Pinctada martensii Enzymatic Hydrolysate by Using Zr(Ⅳ)-Loaded Chelating Resin显示文摘The present study investigated the removal of inorganic arsenic from Pinctada martensii enzymatic hydrolysate through unmodified resin(D296) and Zr(Ⅳ)-loaded chelating resin(Zr-D401).By loading Zr to macroporous chelating resin D401,the as exchange adsorption active sites are generated.This transforms D401 from a material that does not have the arsenic adsorption capacity into a material that has excellent arsenic exchange adsorption capacity.The static adsorption experiments were conducted to investigate the optimal removal condition for D296 and Zr-D401.The experimental results show that: the optimum condition for D296 is that T= 25℃,pH = 5,resin additive amount = 1 g(50 mL)-1,and contact time = 10 h,the corresponding arsenic removal rate being 65.7%,and protein loss being 2.33%;the optimum condition for Zr-D401 is that T=25℃,pH = 8,resin additive amount = 1 g(50 mL)-1,and contact time=10 h,the corresponding arsenic removal rate being 70.3%,and protein loss being 4.65%.These results show that both of the two resins are effective in arsenic removal for preserving useful substance.Our research provides scientific evidence and advances in the processing technology for heavy metal removal in shellfish.YANG Xiaoman DAI Wenjin SUN Huili PAN Jianyu 2013Journal of Ocean University of China2013,12,3:2
8Twinning, grain orientation, and texture variations in Mg alloy processed by pre-rolling显示文摘A pre-rolling(PR) process with a small pre-strain was applied along the transverse direction(TD) and the extrusion direction(ED) of non-basal and basal textured AZ61 Mg alloys at room temperature to investigate the induced twinning behavior. The microstructural evolution of the alloys was used to evaluate the grain-boundary effect in terms of the texture variation. The results demonstrated that■ extension twinning was introduced by the PR process and that the volume fraction of twins increased with increasing thickness reduction. The subdivision of grains via twinning induced grain reorientation that generated a prominent basal texture with the c-axis parallel to the normal direction(ND) after PR. The textured Mg alloy with this c-axis//TD feature can promote twinning activity. The twinning performance was critical to initiate plastic deformation, therefore to determine deformation behavior at room temperature. 20Trimethylamine Adsorption Mechanism on Activated Carbon and Removal in Water and Oyster Proteolytic Solution显示文摘In this study,seven coal-based activated carbons(ACs)were adopted to remove trimethylamine(TMA)in an aqueous solution as environmentally friendly and harmless adsorbents.The results showed that columnar AC(CAC)had a clear scale and honeycomb structures with few fragments and micropores,contributing to superior TMA removal capacity compared to granular AC(GAC)(71.67%for 6.0 mm CAC and 69.92%for 40–60 mesh GAC).In addition,the process of adsorption was accompanied by desorption,and the recommended absorbed time was 120–180 min.The short time to achieve equilibrium indicated that adsorption was kinetically controlled,and pseudo-second-order kinetics was more appropriate than pseudo-first-order kinetics in explaining the adsorption mechanism in both water and oyster enzymatic hydrolysate.The intraparticle diffusion model presented that the adsorption processes could be divided into three steps for GAC and two steps for CAC.The adsorption processes were consistent with the Freundlich model,indicating the existence of physisorption and chemisorption as multilayer adsorption.The results indicated that AC,especially CAC,has great potential for TMA elimination in aquatic product processing.CHEN Deke WAN Peng CAI Bingna YE Ziqing CHEN Hua CHEN Xin SUN Huili PAN Jianyu 2021Journal of Ocean University of China2021,20,6:1
