| 1 | Allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T-cell immunotherapy exhibits promising clinical safety and prolongs the survival of patients with late-stage lung or liver cancer显示文摘Vγ9Vδ2 T cells are promising candidates for cellular tumor immunotherapy.Due to their HLA-independent mode of action,allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T cells can be considered for clinical application.To apply allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T cells in adoptive immunotherapy,the methodology used to obtain adequate cell numbers with optimal effector function in vitro needs to be optimized,and clinical safety and efficacy also need to be proven.Therefore,we developed a novel formula to improve the expansion of peripheralγδT cells from healthy donors.Then,we used a humanized mouse model to validate the therapeutic efficacy of expandedγδT cells in vivo;furthermore,the expandedγδT cells were adoptively transferred into late-stage liver and lung cancer patients.We found that the expanded cells possessed significantly improved immune effector functions,including proliferation,differentiation,and cancer cell killing,both in vitro and in the humanized mouse model.Furthermore,a phase I clinical trial in 132 late-stage cancer patients with a total of 414 cell infusions unequivocally validated the clinical safety of allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T cells.Among these 132 patients,8 liver cancer patients and 10 lung cancer patients who received≥5 cell infusions showed greatly prolonged survival,which preliminarily verified the efficacy of allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T-cell therapy.Our clinical studies underscore the safety and efficacy of allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T-cell immunotherapy,which will inspire further clinical investigations and eventually benefit cancer patients. | Yan Xu Zheng Xiang Mohammed Alnaggar Léonce Kouakanou Jiawei Li Junyi He Jiashuang Yang Yi Hu Yan Chen Li Lin Jianlei Hao Jingxia Li Jibing Chen Man Li Qingling Wu Christian Peters Qinghua Zhou Jianshuang Li Yingqing Liang Xiaohua Wang Baohui Han Meili Ma Dieter Kabelitz Kecheng Xu Wenwei Tu Yangzhe Wu Zhinan Yin | 2021 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,2: | 8 |

| 4 | A fully automated centrifugal microfluidic system for sample-to-answer viral nucleic acid testing显示文摘The outbreak of virus-induced infectious diseases poses a global public-health challenge.Nucleic acid amplification testing(NAAT)enables early detection of pandemic viruses and plays a vital role in preventing onward transmission.However,the requirement of skilled operators,expensive instrumentation,and biosafety laboratories has hindered the use of NAAT for screening and diagnosis of suspected patients.Here we report development of a fully automated centrifugal microfluidic system with sample-in-answer-out capability for sensitive,specific,and rapid viral nucleic acid testing.The release of nucleic acids and the subsequent reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification(RT-LAMP)were integrated into the reaction units of a microfluidic disc.The whole processing steps such as injection of reagents,fluid actuation by rotation,heating and temperature control,and detection of fluorescence signals were carried out automatically by a customized instrument.We validate the centrifugal microfluidic system using oropharyngeal swab samples spiked with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)armored RNA particles.The estimated limit of detection for armored RNA particles is 2 copies per reaction,the throughput is 21 reactions per disc,and the assay sample-to-answer time is approximately 70 min.This enclosed and automated microfluidic system efficiently avoids viral contamination of aerosol,and can be readily adapted for virus detection outside the diagnostic laboratory. | Fei Tian Chao Liu Jinqi Deng Ziwei Han Lu Zhang Qinghua Chen Jiashu Sun | 2020 | Science China Chemistry2020,63,10: | 4 |

| 6 | Effect of Wheel Load on Wheel Vibration and Sound Radiation显示文摘The current researches of wheel vibration and sound radiation mainly focus on the low noise damped wheel. Compared with the traditional research, the relationship between the sound and wheel/rail contact is difficulty and worth studying. However, there are few studies on the effect of wheel load on wheel vibration and sound radiation. In this paper, laboratory test carried out in a semi-anechoic room investigates the effect of wheel load on wheel natural frequencies, damping ratios, wheel vibration and its sound radiation. The laboratory test results show that the vibration of the wheel and total sound radiation decrease significantly with the increase of the wheel load from 0 t to 1 t. The sound energy level of the wheel decreases by 3.7 d B. When the wheel load exceeds 1 t, the attenuation trend of the vibration and sound radiation of the wheel becomes slow. And the increase of the wheel load causes the growth of the wheel natural frequencies and the mode damping ratios. Based on the finite element method(FEM) and boundary element method(BEM), a rolling noise prediction model is developed to calculate the influence of wheel load on the wheel vibration and sound radiation. In the calculation, the used wheel/rail excitation is the measured wheel/rail roughness. The calculated results show that the sound power level of the wheel decreases by about 0.4 dB when the wheel load increases by 0.5 t. The sound radiation of the wheel decreases slowly with wheel load increase, and this conclusion is verified by the field test. | 7 | On the technologies of Hα imaging spectrograph for the CHASE mission显示文摘The Hα imaging spectrograph(HIS) is the scientific payload of the first solar space mission, the Chinese Hα solar explorer(CHASE), supported by the China National Space Administration(CNSA). The CHASE/HIS achieves, for the first time in space, Hα spectroscopic observations with high spectral and temporal resolutions. Separate channels for the raster scanning mode(RSM) and continuum imaging mode(CIM) are integrated into one, and a highly integrated design is achieved through multiple folding of the optical path and ultra-light miniaturized components. The design of HIS implements a number of key technologies such as high-precision scanning of the optical field of view(FOV), high-precision integrated manufacturing inspection, a large-tolerance pre-filter window, and full-link solar radiation calibration. | 8 | Enhanced interfacial polarization of defective porous carbon confined CoP nanoparticles forming Mott-Schottky heterojunction for efficient electromagnetic wave absorption显示文摘Integrating heterogeneous interface through nanostructure design and interfacial modification is essential to realize strengthened interfacial polarization relaxation in electromagnetic wave absorption.However,an in-depth comprehension of the interfacial polarization behavior at hetero-junction/interface is highly desired but remains a great challenge.Herein,a Mott-Schottky heterojunction consisting of honeycomb-like porous N-doped carbon confined CoP nanoparticles(CoP@HNC)is designed to elevate the interfacial polarization strength.Simultaneously,corresponding electron migration and redistribution between the heterointerface of defective carbon and CoP nanoparticles are revealed.The significant difference in the work function on both sides of heterogeneous interface boosts the interfacial polarization in high frequency region.Furthermore,the relevant spectroscopic characterizations demonstrate that electron spontaneously migrates from CoP to N-doped carbon at the heterointerface,thereby contributing to the accumulation of electron on defective carbon side and the distribution of hole on CoP side.Impressively,benefitting from the synergistic effects of three-dimensional porous conductive carbon skeleton,foreign N heteroatoms,special CoP nanoparticles,and the resultant CoP/N-doped carbon Mott-Schottky heterojunction,the CoP@HNC exhibits remarkable electromagnetic wave absorption performances with minimum reflection loss up to−60.8 dB and the maximum effective absorption bandwidth of 4.96 GHz,which is superior to most of recently reported transition metal phosphides microwave absorbing composites.The present work opens a new avenue for designing heterogeneous interface to realize strengthened microwave absorption capability and also reveals the in-depth influence of interface structure on electromagnetic wave absorption. | Baojun Wang Fangzhi Huang Hao Wu Zijie Xu Shipeng Wang Qinghua Han Fenghua Liu Shikuo Li Hui Zhang | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,3: | 2 |
| 9 | Impacts of space-time-frequency synchronization errors onwide-band target echo characteristics of bistatic/multistatic radar显示文摘Bistatic/multistatic radar has great potential advantages over its monostatic counterpart. However, the separation of a transmitter and a receiver leads to difficulties in locating the target position accurately and guaranteeing space-timefrequency synchronization of the transmitter and the receiver.The error model of space-time-frequency synchronization in a motion platform of bistatic/multistatic radar is studied. The relationship between the space synchronization error and the transmitter platform position, receiver platform position, moving state, and beam pointing error, is analyzed. The effect of space synchronization error on target echo power is studied. The target scattering characteristics are restructured by many separate scattering centers of the target in high frequency regions. Based on the scattering centers model of the radar target, this radar target echo model and the simulation method are discussed. The algorithm of bistatic/multistatic radar target echo accurately reflects the scattering characteristics of the radar target, pulse modulation speciality of radar transmitting signals, and spacetime-frequency synchronization error characteristics between the transmitter station and the receiver station. | 10 | Time resource management of OAR based on fuzzy logic priority for multiple target tracking显示文摘For coping with the multiple target tracking in the presence of complex time-varying environments and unknown target information, a time resource management scheme based on chance-constraint programming(CCP) employing fuzzy logic priority is proposed for opportunistic array radar(OAR). In this scheme,the total beam illuminating time is minimized by effective time resource allocation so that the desired tracking performance is achieved. Meanwhile, owing to the randomness of radar cross section(RCS), the CCP is used to balance tracking accuracy and time resource conditioned on the specified confidence level. The adaptive fuzzy logic prioritization, imitating the human decision-making process for ranking radar targets, can realize the full potential of radar. The Bayesian Crame ′r-Rao lower bound(BCRLB) provides us with a low bound of localization estimation root-mean-square error(RMSE), and equally important, it can be calculated predictively. Consequently, it is employed as an optimization criterion for the time resource allocation scheme. The stochastic simulation is integrated into the genetic algorithm(GA) to compose a hybrid intelligent optimization algorithm to solve the CCP optimization problem. | 13 | Ultrathin Zn-free anode based on Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) and nanocellulose enabling high-durability aqueous hybrid Zn-Na battery with Zn2+/Na+co-intercalation mechanism显示文摘With low cost and high safety,aqueous zinc-based batteries have received considerable interest.Nevertheless,the excess utilization of zinc metal in the anodes of these batteries reduces energy density and increases costs.Herein,an ultrathin electrode of approximately 6.2μm thick is constructed by coating Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)/nanocellulose hybrid onto a stainless steel foil.This electrode is used as the Zn-free anode for aqueous hybrid Zn-Na battery,in which,a concentrated electrolyte is used to improve electrochemical reversibility.The Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)/nanocellulose coating is found to improve the electrolyte wettability,facilitate desolvation process of hydrated Zn^(2+) ions,lower nucleation overpotential,improve zinc plating kinetics,guide horizontal zinc plating along the Zn(002)facet,and inhibit parasitic side reactions.It is also found that the Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3) cathode material adopts a highly reversible Zn^(2+)/Na^(+)co-intercalation charge storage mechanism in this system.Thanks to these benefits,the assembled hybrid Zn-Na battery exhibits excellent rate capability,superior cyclability,and good anti-freezing ability.This work provides a new concept of electrode design for electrochemical energy storage. | Hao Chen Weijun Zhou Minfeng Chen Qinghua Tian Xiang Han Jizhang Chen | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,1: | 1 |

| 18 | Effects of Light Quality on Carbon and Nitrogen Assimilation and Root Activity of Eggplant显示文摘[Objective] This study was conducted to provide theoretical and data reference for high-quality high-yield production of Shangqie 1 under controlled light quality environment and light quality control of other eggplant varieties. [Method] With Shangqie1 as an experiment material, the effects of red light, blue light, red-blue light, red-blue light and white light(control) on the carbon-nitrogen metabolism and root vitality of eggplant were investigated. [Result] Different light quality significantly affected sugar and starch contents in leaves of eggplant. Under the red-blue light(5∶1) treatment, the sucrose, total sugar and starch contents were the highest, and the values were higher than those under the white light treatment by 3.47%, 13.61% and 33.49%,respectively. The fructose content was the highest under white light. Under red-blue light(3∶1) and red-blue light(5∶1), the nitrate nitrogen contents were higher than that under white light, indicating that compound light affects nitrate content not only by simple superposition of light quality, but also by other type of interaction effect. The free amino acid and soluble protein contents under blue, red-blue(3∶1), red-blue(5∶1) and red light treatments were all higher than those under the white light treatment, and the blue light treatment exhibited the highest values, which were higher than those under white light by 24.89% and 46.62%, respectively, with significant differences. The red-blue light(5 ∶1) treatment exhibited the highest root vitality of eggplant, which was higher than that under the white light treatment by 31.85%. The red light treatment had the second highest root vitality, which was higher than that under the white light treatment by 19.30%, followed by the red-blue light(5∶1) treatment, and the blue light treatment showed the lowest value.
