1A review of selective laser melting of aluminum alloys: Processing,microstructure, property and developing trends显示文摘Selective laser melting(SLM) is an attractive rapid prototyping technology for the fabrication of metallic components with complex structure and high performance. Aluminum alloy, one of the most pervasive structural materials, is well known for high specific strength and good corrosion resistance. But the poor laser formability of aluminum alloy restricts its application. There are problems such as limited processable materials, immature process conditions and metallurgical defects on SLM processing aluminum alloys. Some efforts have been made to solve the above problems. This paper discusses the current research status both related to the scientific understanding and technology applications. The paper begins with a brief introduction of basic concepts of aluminum alloys and technology characterization of laser selective melting. In addition, solidification theory of SLM process and formation mechanism of metallurgical defects are discussed. Then, the current research status of microstructure, properties and heat treatment of SLM processing aluminum alloys is systematically reviewed respectively. 3Microstructure Characteristics of Inconel 625 Superalloy Manufactured by Selective Laser Melting显示文摘Selective laser melting(SLM), an additive manufacturing process, is capable of manufacturing metallic parts with complex shapes directly from computer-aided design(CAD) models. SLM parts are created on a layer-by-layer manner, making it more flexible than traditional material processing techniques. In this paper, Inconel 625 alloy, a widely used material in the aerospace industry, were chosen as the build material. Scanning electron microscopy(SEM), electron back scattering diffraction(EBSD) and X-ray diffraction(XRD) analysis techniques were employed to analyze its microstructure. It was observed that the molten pool was composed of elongated columnar crystal. Due to the rapid cooling speed, the primary dendrite arm space was approximately 0.5 μm and the hardness of SLM state was very high(343 HV). The inverse pole figure(IPF) indicated that the growing orientation of the most grains was<001> due to the epitaxial growth and heat conduction. The XRD results revealed that the austenite structure with large lattice distortion was fully formed. No carbides or precipitated phases were found.After heat treatment the grains grew into two microstructures with distinct morphological characters,namely, rectangular grains and limited in the molten pool, and equiaxed grains along the molten boundaries. Upon experiencing the heat treatment, MC carbides with triangular shapes gradually precipitated. The results also identified that a large number of zigzag grain boundaries were formed. 5Hybrids perfluorosulfonic acid ionomer and silicon oxide membrane for application in ion-exchange polymer-metal composite actuators显示文摘This paper reports a new technique to fabricate an ion-exchange polymer-metal composite (IPMC) actuator. This technique is based on a hybrid organic-inorganic composite membrane. In the fabrication course, silica oxide particles, prepared from hydrolysis of tetraethyl orthosilicate in situ with sol-gel reaction, co-crystallize with perfluorosulfonate acid (PFSA) ionomer. Attenuated total reflectance fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR) analyses demonstrate that a highly water-saving hybrid membrane is formed. Measurements of mechanical properties reveal that elastic modulus and hardness of the hybrid membrane are about 2 times compared to a commercial PFSA membrane. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) results show that the hybrid membrane has a high porosity. Inside the membrane pores, there exists a great quantity of micro scale channels in the range of 100―300 nm. After fabrication of IPMC actuator, an electric current sensor, a force sensor, and a high speed camera are assembled and used to evaluate IPMC performance. 7Fabrication of Flexible Transparent Conductive Films with Silver Nanowire by Vacuum Filtration and PET Mold Transfer显示文摘The flexible transparent conductive films(FTCFs) of silver nanowire-polyethylene terephthalate(AgNWPET) were prepared by a facile method including vacuum filtration and mold transferring.The effect of silver nanowire weight density on the optical and electrical properties of films,as well as the electrical percolation was investigated.The obtained typical AgNW-PET film exhibited high figure of merit of31.3×10^(-3)Ω^(-1) with low sheet resistance of 4.95 Ω sq^(-1) and high transparency at 550 nm of 83.0%(excluding PET substrate).The resulting FTCFs based on PET substrate with high transmittance and low sheet resistance have a great potential in the application of high-performance flexible electronics and photovoltaic devices.Wei Xu Qingsong xu Qijin Huang Ruiqin Tan Wenfeng Shen Weijie Song 2016Journal of Materials Science & Technology2016,32,2:8
8Metal-ceramic Bond Mechanism of the Co-Cr Alloy Denture with Original Rough Surface Produced by Selective Laser Melting显示文摘The porcelain fracture caused by low metal-ceramic bond strength is a critical issue in porcelain fused to metal(PFM)restorations.Surface roughening methods,such as sand blasting,acid etching and alkaline degreasing for the metal matrix are used to increase bond strength.However,the metal matrix of PFM processed by selective laser melting(SLM)has natural rough surface.To explore the effect of the original roughness on metal-ceramic bond strength,two groups of specimen are fabricated by SLM.One group of specimen surface is polished smooth while another group remains the original rough surface.The dental porcelain is fused to the specimens’surfaces according to the ISO 9693:1999 standard.To gain the bond strength,a three-point bending test is carried out and X ray energy spectrum analysis(EDS),scanning electron microscope(SEM)are used to show fracture mode.The results show that the mean bond strength is 116.5±16 MPa of the group with rough surface(Ra=17.2),and the fracture mode is cohesive.However,when the surface is smooth(Ra=3.8),the mean bond strength is 74.5 MPa 5 MPa and the fracture mode is mixed.The original surface with prominent structures formed by the partly melted powder particles,not only increases surface roughness but also significantly improves the bond strength by forming strong mechanical lock effect.Statistical analysis(Student’s t-test)demonstrates a significant difference(p<0.05)of the mean value of bond strength between the two groups.The experiments indicate the natural rough surface can enhance the metal-ceramic bond strength to over four times the minimum value(25 MPa)of the ISO 9693:1999 standard.It is found that the natural rough surface of SLM-made PFM can eliminate the porcelain collapse defect produced by traditional casting method in PFM restorations.ZHANG Sheng LI Yong HAO Liang XU Tian WEI Qingsong SHI Yusheng 2014Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2014,27,1:7
9Selective laser melting of near-α titanium alloy Ti-6Al-2Zr-1Mo-1V:Parameter optimization, heat treatment and mechanical performance显示文摘This paper presents a comprehensive study conducted to optimize the selective laser melting(SLM)parameters and subsequent heat-treatment temperatures for near-α high-temperature titanium alloy Ti-6 Al-2 Zr-1 Mo-1 V(TA15),which is widely used in the aerospace industry.Based on the surface morphology and relative density analysis,the optimized process parameters were:laser power from 230 W to 380 W,scan speed from 675 mm/s to 800 mm/s,scan spacing of 0.12 mm,and layer thickness of0.03 mm.The effects of the laser power and the layer thickness on the phase constitutions,microstructure features,as well as room-temperature and high-temperature(500℃) tensile properties,were then studied to obtain an in-depth understanding of SLM-built TA15.Six typical temperatures(650,750,850,950,1000 and 1100℃) covering three representative temperature ranges,i.e.,martensite partial decomposition temperature range,martensite complete decomposition temperature range and above βtransus temperature,were subsequently selected as heat-treatment temperatures.The heat treatmentmicrostructure-mechanical property relationships of SLM-built TA15 were elucidated in detail.These results provide valuable information on the development of SLM-built TA15 alloy for industrial applications,and these findings are also beneficial to additive manufacturing of other near-α Ti alloys with desirable high-temperature properties.Chao Cai Xu Wu Wan Liu Wei Zhu Hui Chen Jasper Chu Dong Qiu Chen-Nan Sun Jie Liu Qingsong Wei Yusheng Shi 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,54,22:7
10Perovskite light-emitting/detecting bifunctional fibres for wearable LiFi communication显示文摘Light fidelity(LiFi),which is emerging as a compelling technology paradigm shifting the common means of highcapacity wireless communication technologies,requires wearable and full-duplex compact design because of its great significance in smart wearables as well as the‘Internet of Things’.However,the construction of the key component of wearable full-duplex LiFi,light-emitting/detecting bifunctional fibres,is still challenging because of the conflicting process between carrier separation and recombination,as well as the highly dynamic film-forming process.Here,we demonstrate light-emitting/detecting bifunctional fibres enabled by perovskite QDs with hybrid components.The hybrid perovskite inks endow fibres with super-smooth QD films.This,combined with the small exciton binding energy and high carrier mobility of perovskite QDs,enables successful integration of electroluminescence and photodetection into monofilaments.The bifunctional fibres possess the narrowest electroluminescence full width at half maximum of ~19 nm and,more importantly,the capability for simultaneously transmitting and receiving information.The successful fabrication of narrow emission full-duplex LiFi fibres paves the way for the fabrication and integration of low crosstalk interoperable smart wearables.Qingsong Shan Changting Wei Yan Jiang Jizhong Song Yousheng Zou Leimeng Xu Tao Fang Tiantian Wang Yuhui Dong Jiaxin Liu Boning Han Fengjuan Zhang Jiawei Chen Yongjin Wang Haibo Zeng 2020Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1:7

12A New Method Based on Association Rules Mining and Geo-filter for Mining Spatial Association Knowledge显示文摘Association rule mining methods, as a set of important data mining tools, could be used for mining spatial association rules of spatial data. However, applications of these methods are limited for mining results containing large number of redundant rules. In this paper, a new method named Geo-Filtered Association Rules Mining(GFARM) is proposed to effectively eliminate the redundant rules. An application of GFARM is performed as a case study in which association rules are discovered between building land distribution and potential driving factors in Wuhan, China from 1995 to 2015. Ten sets of regular sampling grids with different sizes are used for detecting the influence of multi-scales on GFARM. Results show that the proposed method can filter 50%–70% of redundant rules. 14Ultrathin nanosheets of cobalt-nickel hydroxides hetero-structure via electrodeposition and precursor adjustment with excellent performance for supercapacitor显示文摘A homogeneous better-dispersed ultrathin nanosheets(ca. 5 nm) of cobalt-nickel layered double hydroxides(LDH) supported on nickel foam scaffold was synthesized using controllable electrodeposition approach for high efficiency electrode materials of new supercapacitor. The morphology and electrochemical performances of the samples can be controlled by adjusting the precursor ratio, i.e., Ni(OAc)_2/Co(NO_3)_2 molar ratio in the electrodeposition approach. With the increase of this molar ratio, the electrochemical performances give a volcano trend. When the optimized molar ratio is 0.64/0.36, the hybrid delivered a high specific capacitance of 1587.5 F g^(-1) at a current density of 0.5 A g^(-1), with good rate capability(1155 F g^(-1) was retained even at 10 A g^(-1)) and a robust recycle stability(remaining 91.5% after 1000 cycles at 5 A g^(-1)). The good performance could be attributed to the enlarged interlayer spacing, ultrathin nanosheets and synergistic effects between Co(OH)_2 and Ni(OH)_2. Furthermore, an asymmetric supercapacitor with a high energy density of 34.5 Wh kg^(-1) at 425 W kg^(-1) and excellent cycling stability of 85.4% after 5000 charge-discharge cycles at 2 A g^(-1) was fabricated. 15Mechanical properties and thermal stability of carbon fiber cloth reinforced sol-derived mullite composites显示文摘For the wide application as thermal protection materials,it is very necessary for mullite ceramics to improve fracture toughness.In this paper,the laminated and stitched carbon fiber cloth preform reinforced mullite(C/mullite)composites were prepared through the route of sol impregnation and heat treatment using the Al2O3-SiO2 sol with a high solid content as raw materials.The C/mullite composites showed a flexural strength of 228.9 MPa that was comparable to that of dense monolithic mullite although the total porosity reached 13.4%.Especially,a fracture toughness of 11.2 MPa·m1/2that was 4–5 times that of dense monolithic mullite was obtained.Strength deterioration due to the carbothermal reduction between carbon fiber and the residual SiO2 in matrix was found above 1200℃.A pyrolytic C(Py C)coating was deposited on carbon fibers as interfacial coating.The chemical damage to carbon fibers was obviously alleviated by the sacrifice of PyC coating.Accordingly,the C/PyC/mullite composites kept strength unchanged up to 1500℃,and showed much higher strength retention ratio than C/mullite composites after annealing at 1600℃.Wei ZHANG Qingsong MA Kuanhong ZENG Songlin LIANG Weiguo MAO 2019Journal of Advanced Ceramics2019,8,2:2
16A penetrative addictive for water infusion in coal seams显示文摘The manufacturing process, characteristics, and application results of a rod-like penetrative additive (the penetrative rod)were discussed. The components and functions of the penetrative rod were studied carefully. A large number of orthogonal combinedtests were carried out and over 100 sample molds were made. Ultimately the components were decided after careful selection amongthese molds, mainly including hygroscopic major components and auxiliary material. The results of on-site practical applicationshow that such an addictive can increase the water penetrative ability effectively and has a remarkable effect on preventing dust pro-duction during coal seam excavation. 18Transition-metal redox evolution and its effect on thermal stability of LiNixCoyMnzO_(2) based on synchrotron soft X-ray absorption spectroscopy显示文摘Based on the synchrotron soft X-ray absorption spectroscopy experiments,the fundamental electronic structures of layered Li NixCoyMnzO_(2)(NCM)are investigated systematically and the data of transitionmetal(TM)L-and O K-edges spectra are collected.Distribution of Ni ions under different oxidation states is evaluated according to linear combination fit.It is found that the ratio of Ni^(4+)expands with the increase of Ni since it dominates in charge compensation during charging,and that the existence of Ni^(3+)is nearly negligible in delithiated NCM.The valence state of Co also strongly depends on Ni content,the perceptible position shift of Co L_(3)-edge absorption peak towards higher energy in Ni-rich material agrees well with the small voltage plateau at around 4.2 V.The stability of Mn is verified as no obvious spectral change with the Mn L-edge is observed.Moreover,as Ni content rises,the O 2p holes near the Femi level increases with higher oxidation state of Ni,indicating the enhanced hybridization of O 2p-TM 3 d.Delithiated NCMs with higher Ni content are prior to lose electron existing in highly hybridized Ni3 dO 2 p bands upon heating,which accounts for the pronounced O_(2)release in phase transitions and the deterioration in thermal stability.These detailed observation of the electronic structure evolution is one of the key ingredients to improving the electrochemical and thermal performance of NCM.Chen Liang Wenhua Zhang Zesen Wei Zhaoyu Wang Qingsong Wang Jinhua Sun 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,8:2
