1Exosome-functionalized polyetheretherketone-based implant with immunomodulatory property for enhancing osseointegration显示文摘The host immune response effecting on biomaterials is critical to determine implant fates and bone regeneration property.Bone marrow stem cells(BMSCs)derived exosomes(Exos)contain multiple biosignal molecules and have been demonstrated to exhibit immunomodulatory functions.Herein,we develop a BMSC-derived Exos-functionalized implant to accelerate bone integration by immunoregulation.BMSC-derived Exos were reversibly incorporated on tannic acid(TA)modified sulfonated polyetheretherketone(SPEEK)via the strong interaction of TA with biomacromolecules.The slowly released Exos from SPEEK can be phagocytosed by co-cultured cells,which could efficiently improve the biocompatibilities of SPEEK.In vitro results showed the Exos loaded SPEEK promoted macrophage M2 polarization via the NF-κB pathway to enhance BMSCs osteogenic differentiation.Further in vivo rat air-pouch model and rat femoral drilling model assessment of Exos loaded SPEEK revealed efficient macrophage M2 polarization,desirable new bone formation,and satisfactory osseointegration.Thus,BMSC-derived Exos-functionalized implant exerted osteoimmunomodulation effect to promote osteogenesis.Lei Fan Pengfei Guan Cairong Xiao Huiquan Wen Qiyou Wang Can Liu Yian Luo Limin Ma Guoxin Tan Peng Yu Lei Zhou Chengyun Ning 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,9:11

3The role played by traditional Chinese medicine in preventing and treating COVID-19 in China显示文摘Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),an ancient system of alternative medicine,played an active role in the prevention and control of COVID-19 in China.It improved the clinical symptoms of patients,reduced the mortality rate,improved the recovery rate,and effectively relieved the operating pressure on the national medical system during critical conditions.In light of the current global pandemic,TCM-related measures might open up a new channel in the control of COVID-19 in other countries and regions.Here,we summarize the TCM-related measures that were widely used in China,including TCM guidelines,the Wuchang pattern,mobile cabin hospitals,integrated treatment of TCM and modern medicine for critical patients,and non-medicine therapy for convalescent patients,and describe how TCM effectively treated patients afflicted with the COVID-19.Effective TCM therapies could,therefore,be recommended and practiced based on the existing medical evidence from increased scientific studies.Qingwei Li Han Wang Xiuyang Li Yujiao Zheng Yu Wei Pei Zhang Qiyou Ding Jiaran Lin Shuang Tang Yikun Zhao Linhua Zhao Xiaolin Tong 2020Frontiers of Medicine2020,14,5:10

5Interpretation of the Traditional Chinese Medicine portion of the diagnosis and treatment protocol for corona virus disease 2019(Trial Version 7)显示文摘The TCM protocol in the Diagnosis and Treatment Protocol for corona virus disease 2019(COVID-19)(Trial Version 7) has been updated from previous versions. The protocol was formulated under the direct leadership of the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, based on the experience of a panel of experts, supported by evidence from fever clinics and from the outcomes of emergency(EM) observation rooms and inpatients throughout China(especially in Wuhan, Hubei Province) in combination with the latest scientific research results and data. 6Optimization for Microbial Degradation of Dibenzothiophene by Pseudomonas sp. LKY-5 Using Response Surface Methodology显示文摘In this research, the degradation of dibenzothiophene(DBT) was investigated by using Pseudomonas sp. LKY-5 isolated from oil contaminated soil. The response surface methodology(RSM) based on the Box-Behnken design(BBD) was applied for evaluating the interactive effects of four independent variables including substrate concentration, temperature, pH and agitation rate on the DBT removal response. A total of 29 experiments for four factors at three levels were conducted in present study. A second-order regression model was then developed, and the analysis of variance(ANOVA) illustrated that the proposed quadratic model could be utilized to navigate the design space. The value of determination coefficient(R2=0.953 4) indicated a satisfactory agreement between the quadratic model and the experimental data. It was found that DBT removal was more significantly affected(P<0.000 1) by substrate concentration compared with other three parameters. An 100% degradation of DBT could be obtained by Pseudomonas sp. 7Secure multi-party computation solution to Yao's millionaires' problem based on set-inclusion显示文摘Secure multi-party computation is a focus of international cryptography in recent years. Protocols for Yao’s millionaires’ problem have become an important building block of many secure multi-party computation protocols. Their efficiency are crucial to the efficiency of many secure multi-party computation protocols. Unfortunately, known protocols for Yao’s millionaires’ problem have high computational complexity or communication complexity. In this study, based on the 1-out-of-m oblivious transfer and set-inclusion problem, we propose a new protocol to solve this problem. This new protocol is very efficient in terms of both computational and communication complexities. Its privacy-preserving property is also proved by simulation paradigm which is generally accepted in the study of secure multi-party computation. 8Exosome-loaded extracellular matrix-mimic hydrogel with anti-inflammatory property Facilitates/promotes growth plate injury repair显示文摘Growth plate cartilage has limited self-repair ability,leading to poor bone bridge formation post-injury and ultimately limb growth defects in children.The current corrective surgeries are highly invasive,and outcomes can be unpredictable.Following growth plate injury,the direct loss of extracellular matrix(ECM)coupled with further ECM depletion due to the inhibitory effects of inflammation on the cartilage matrix protein greatly hinder chondrocyte regeneration.We designed an exosome(Exo)derived from bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs)loaded ECM-mimic hydrogel to promote cartilage repair by directly supplementing ECM and anti-inflammatory properties.Aldehyde-functionalized chondroitin sulfate(OCS)was introduced into gelatin methacryloyl(GM)to form GMOCS hydrogel.Our results uncovered that GMOCS hydrogel could significantly promote the synthesis of ECM due to the doping of OCS.In addition,the GMOCS-Exos hydrogel could further promote the anabolism of chondrocytes by inhibiting inflammation and ultimately promote growth plate injury repair through ECM remodeling.Pengfei Guan Can Liu Denghui Xie Shichao Mao Yuelun Ji Yongchang Lin Zheng Chen Qiyou Wang Lei Fan Yongjian Sun 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,4:3

10Study on Isolation, Identification of A Petroleum Hydrocarbon Degrading Bacterium Bacillus fusiformis sp. and Influence of Environmental Factors on Degradation Efficiency显示文摘A hydrocarbon degrading bacterium KL2-13 was isolated from ten sites of oil contaminated soil in the Karamay oilfield. It was identified as the Bacillus fusiformis sp. bacterium based on its morphological and physiological characteristics and the 16S rDNA sequence analysis. The factors influencing the hydrocarbon degradation by the bacterium KL2-13 were determined. The test results have showed that the hydrocarbon degrading bacterium KL2-13 requires an optimum pH range of 6-8, and the optimum inoculation quantity is 3%. The low-concentration metal ions Fe2+, Mg2+ and Ca2+ can improve the degradation ability of the bacteria KL2-13.Atoo low concentration of Tween-80 does not show obvious promotion to the de- grading bacterium KL2-13, and an excessively high concentration can decrease the degradation ability of the bacterium, the best dosage of which is 2%. 14Free-standing phosphorous-doped molybdenum nitride in 3D carbon nanosheet towards hydrogen evolution at all pH values显示文摘Highly efficient electrocatalysts towards hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) with large current density at all-pH values are critical for the sustainable hydrogen production. Herein, we report a free-standing HER electrode, phosphorous-doped molybdenum nitride nanoparticles embedded in 3-dimentional carbon nanosheet matrix(P-Mo2N-CNS) fabricated via one-step carbonization and in-situ formation. The asprepared catalyst shows free-standing architecture with interconnected porous microstructure. P-doped Mo2N nanoparticles with an average diameter of 4.4 nm are well embedded in the 3-dimentional vertical carbon nanosheets matrix. Remarkable electrocatalytic HER performance is observed in alkaline, neutral and acidic media at large current densities. The overpotential of P-Mo2N-CNS to drive a current density of 100 mA cm-2 in 0.5 M H2SO4 and 1.0 M PBS is only 181 and 221 mV, respectively. In particular, the current density reaches up to 1000 mA cm-2 at a low overpotential of 256 mV in 1.0 M KOH, much better than that of the commercial Pt/C catalyst. 16Numerical Simulation of Aerodynamic Characteristics of Helicopter Rotor with Tip Slots显示文摘Effects of tip slots on the aerodynamic characteristics of helicopter rotor were investigated numerically by solving three-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations based on unstructured overset grids algorithm.Improved delayed detached eddy simulation (IDDES) based on the Spalart-Allmaras turbulence model and adaptive grid refinement technique were employed.Several slots in the rotor blade tip were designed on the base of Caradonna-Tung rotor to study the effect of tip slots.Numerical results show that tip slots are able to introduce the airflow from the leading edge and turn it in the spanwise direction to be ejected out of the face at the rotor blade tip,which can reduce the strength of the rotor blade tip vortex and accelerate the dissipation process.Although tip slots may lead to the decrease of airfoils' lift coefficient at the root of the rotor blade,it can increase the lift coefficient of airfoils at the rotor blade tip,so the lift of the rotor with tip slots is almost the same as that of the rotor without tip slots.In addition,tip slots can also reduce the intensity of the tip shock wave,which is beneficial to reduce the wave drag of the rotor.Chen Rongqian Wang Xu Cheng Qiyou Zhu Chengxiang You Yancheng 2018Transactions of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics2018,35,6:1
