| 1 | Outcome of multimodal MRI-guided intravenous thrombolysis in patients with stroke with unknown time of onset显示文摘Objective Intravenous tissue plasminogen activator(tPA)is the standard therapy for patients with acute ischaemic stroke(AIS)within 4.5 hours of onset.Recent trials have expanded the endovascular treatment window to 24 hours.We investigated the efficacy and safety of using multimodal MRI to guide intravenous tPA treatment for patients with AIS of unknown time of onset(UTO).Methods Data on patients with AIS with UTO and within 4.5 hours of onset were reviewed.Data elements collected and analysed included:demographics,National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)score at baseline and 2 hours,24 hours,7 days after thrombolysis and before discharge,the modified Rankin Scale(mRS)score at 3 months after discharge,imaging findings and any adverse event.results Forty-two patients with UTO and 62 in control group treated within 4.5 hours of onset were treated with intravenous tPA.The NIHSS scores after thrombolysis and/or before discharge in UTO group were significantly improved compared with the baseline(p<0.05).Between the two groups,no significant differences in NIHSS score were observed(p>0.05).Utilising the non-inferiority test,to compare mRS scores(0-2)at 3 months between the two groups,the difference was 5.2%(92%CI,OR 0.196).Patients in the UTO group had mRS scores of 0-2,which were non-inferior to the control group.Their incidence of adverse events was similar.Conclusions Utilising multimodal MRI to guide intravenous only thrombolysis for patients with AIS with UTO was safe and effective.In those patients with AIS between 6 and 24 hours of time of onset but without large arterial occlusion,intravenous thrombolysis could be considered an option. | Jie Zhao Hongmei Zhao Runtao Li Jiangtao Li Chang Liu Juan Lv Yanan Li Wei Liu Dongpu Ma Huaihai Hao Xinguang Xiao Junzhong Liu Yongfeng Yin Rongli Liu Qiaoyan Yu Yingjie Wei Pengyan Li Yue Wang Runqing Wang | 2019 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2019,4,1: | 8 |

| 4 | Kinetics study on leaching of rare earth and aluminum from polishing powder waste using hydrochloric acid显示文摘In this study,a novel hydrometallurgical process consisting of hydrochloric acid three-stage countercurrent leaching and solvent extraction was proposed to recover rare earth oxide(REO)from the rare earth polishing powder waste(REPPW).The effects of HCl concentration,liquid-solid ratio(L/S ratio),temperature and time on the leaching yields of rare earths(in REO)and aluminum(in Al2O3)were studied.The result shows that the leaching yields of REO and Al2O3 are 90.96%and 43.89%respectively under the optimum leaching parameters of HCl concentration=8.00 mol/L,L/S ratio=4 mL/g,leaching temperature=353 K and leaching time=180 min.Meanwhile,the leaching kinetics of REO and Al2O3 were investigated in this study.The leaching behaviors of REO and Al2O3 follow a shrinking sphere/core model and the general leaching process is controlled by the surface chemical reaction.The leaching activation energies of REO and Al2O3 are 9.86 and 13.68 kJ/mol,respectively.The leaching yield of each substance in three-stage countercurrent leaching is improved substantially compared with single-stage leaching,with a change from 90.96%to 95.38%for REO and from 43.89%to 46.22%for Al2O3,respectively.Especially,the total concentration of REO in three-stage countercurrent leaching solution is greatly increased to above 300 g/L,and the acidity of which is decreased to ca.pH=2,which is conducive to subsequent solvent extraction directly.High purity REO(99.92%)is obtained by solvent extraction separation,oxalate precipitation and calcination.The total recovery yield of REO is 85.13%. | Xitao Wu Zhijian Wang Chuping Xia Xuefeng Shi Tianzong Luo Xinjun Bao Rongli Liu Shengzhong Xie | 2020 | Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,9: | 3 |

| 8 | Risk factors associated with hemorrhagic cystitis after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation显示文摘Hemorrhagic cystitis(HC)is a common complication of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(HSCT).The incidence is about 7%to 68%,and some patients have to suffer a long period of frequent,urgent,and painful urination,which brings great pain.This study aimed to analyze risk factors of HC and its effect on patient survival.We collected the medical records of 859 patients who underwent HSCT at our hospital between August 2016 and August 2020.Patients with and without HC were matched using propensity score matching at a 1:1 ratio based on sex,age,and diagnosis,and logistic regression analyses were used to identify factors associated with HC.We used Kaplan–Meier curves to analyze the survival rates of patients in the HC and non-HC groups.We also analyzed the relationship between BK viral load and the occurrence of HC using receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)analysis.After propensity score matching,there were 131 patients each in the HC and non-HC groups.In the HC group,89 patients(67.9%)had mild HC(stage II°)and 43(32.1%)had severe HC(stage III–IV).The median interval between stem cell transplantation and HC development was 31(3–244)days.Univariate analysis indicated that donor age,hematopoietic stem cell source,HLA,acute graft-versus-host disease,busulfan,anti-thymocyte globulin(ATG),total body irradiation,cytomegalovirus(CMV)(urine),and BK polyomavirus(BKV)(urine)were significantly associated with HC.ATG,CMV(urine),and BKV(urine)were independent risk factors for HC based on the multivariate analysis.The Kaplan–Meier survival analysis showed no significant difference between the HC and non-HC groups(P=0.14).The 1-and 2-year survival rates in the HC group were 78.4%and 69.6%,respectively,and the corresponding rates in the non-HC group were 84.4%and 80.7%,respectively.ROC analysis indicated that a urine BKV load of 1×10^(7) copies/mL was able to stratify the risk of HC.In conclusion,when the BKV load is>1×10^(7),we needtobe aware of the potential for the development of HC. | Biao Shen Yueshen Ma Haixiao Zhang Mingyang Wang Jia Liu Jiaxin Cao Wenwen Guo Dan Feng Donglin Yang Rongli Zhang Xin Chen Qiaoling Ma Weihua Zhai Sizhou Feng Mingzhe Han Aiming Pang Erlie Jiang 无 | 2022 | Blood Science2022,4,2: | 2 |

In this study, we investigate some properties of the conditioned superprocesses (subcritical or critical). Firstly, we give an equivalent description of the probability of the event that the total occupation time measure on a compact set is finite and some applications of this equivalent description. Our results are extensions of those of Krone (1995) from particular branching mechanisms to general branching mechanisms. We also prove a claim of Krone for the cases of d = 3, 4.
