1Sequencing of Cultivated Peanut, Arachis hypogaea, Yields Insights into Genome Evolution and Oil Improvement显示文摘Cultivated peanut (Arachis hypogaea) is an allotetraploid crop planted in Asia, Africa, and America for edible oil and protein. To explore the origins and consequences of tetraploidy, we sequenced the allotetraploid A. hypogaea genome and compared it with the related diploid Arachis duranensis and Arachis ipaensis genomes. We annotated 39 888 A-subgenome genes and 41 526 B-subgenome genes in allotetraploid peanut. The A. hypogaea subgenomes have evolved asymmetrically, with the B subgenome resembling the ancestral state and the A subgenome undergoing more gene disruption, loss, conversion, and transposable element proliferation, and having reduced gene expression during seed development despite lacking genome-wide expression dominance. Genomic and transcriptomic analyses identified more than 2 500 oil metabolism-related genes and revealed that most of them show altered expression early in seed development while their expression ceases during desiccation, presenting a comprehensive map of peanut lipid biosynthesis. 2Minimum Load-curtailment in Transmission Network Planning Considering Integrated Wind Farms显示文摘提出应用鲁棒线性优化理论来研究电网规划中含多个风电场的最小切负荷量计算问题,为含多个风电场的系统安全性研究提供了一条新的思路。根据Seng-Cheol Kang提出的鲁棒线性优化理论,建立电网规划中考虑风电场影响的最小切负荷量模型。该模型以出力上下限和出力期望值来描述风电场的出力,最终转化为一确定性的线性规划问题并进行求解。在计及或不计及发电机调整的情况下,该模型均能够给出最安全的切负荷方案,除此以外还能给出更多介于最可靠与最经济之间的切负荷方案,实现灵活决策;在计及发电机出力可调的情况下,该模型能够给出相应的发电机出力方案;该模型能够初步给出各种切负荷方案下电网规划方案的可靠程度。基于修正的Garver’s 6节点系统和修正的巴西南部46节点系统算例测试结果验证了该方法的有效性。CHEN Yan WEN Jinyu CHENG Shijie 2011中国电机工程学报2011,31,34:14
3Insight-HXMT observations of the first binary neutron star merger GW170817显示文摘Finding the electromagnetic(EM) counterpart of binary compact star merger, especially the binary neutron star(BNS) merger,is critically important for gravitational wave(GW) astronomy, cosmology and fundamental physics. On Aug. 17, 2017,Advanced LIGO and Fermi/GBM independently triggered the first BNS merger, GW170817, and its high energy EM counterpart,GRB 170817 A, respectively, resulting in a global observation campaign covering gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, optical, IR, radio as well as neutrinos. The High Energy X-ray telescope(HE) onboard Insight-HXMT(Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope) is the unique high-energy gamma-ray telescope that monitored the entire GW localization area and especially the optical counterpart(SSS17 a/AT2017 gfo) with very large collection area(~1000 cm^2) and microsecond time resolution in 0.2-5 MeV. In addition,Insight-HXMT quickly implemented a Target of Opportunity(ToO) observation to scan the GW localization area for potential X-ray emission from the GW source. Although Insight-HXMT did not detect any significant high energy(0.2-5 MeV) radiation from GW170817, its observation helped to confirm the unexpected weak and soft nature of GRB 170817 A. Meanwhile,Insight-HXMT/HE provides one of the most stringent constraints(~10^(-7) to 10^(-6) erg/cm^2/s) for both GRB170817 A and any other possible precursor or extended emissions in 0.2-5 MeV, which help us to better understand the properties of EM radiation from this BNS merger. 4The enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP显示文摘In this paper we present the enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP. eXTP is a space science mission designed to study fundamental physics under extreme conditions of density, gravity and magnetism. The mission aims at determining the equation of state of matter at supra-nuclear density, measuring effects of QED, and understanding the dynamics of matter in strong-field gravity. In addition to investigating fundamental physics, eXTP will be a very powerful observatory for astrophysics that will provide observations of unprecedented quality on a variety of galactic and extragalactic objects. 5Minimum energy storage for power system with high wind power penetration using p-efficient point theory显示文摘Minimum energy storage(ES)and spinning reserve(SR)for day-ahead power system scheduling with high wind power penetration is significant for system operations.A chance-constrained energy storage optimization model based on unit commitment and considering the stochastic nature of both the wind power and load demand is proposed.To solve this proposed chance-constrained model,it is first converted into a deterministic-constrained model using p-efficient point theory.A single stochastic net load variable is developed to represent the stochastic characteristics of both the wind power and load demand for convenient use with the p-efficient point theory.A probability distribution function for netload forecast error is obtained via the Kernel estimation method.The proposed model is applied to a wind-thermal-storage combined power system.A set of extreme scenarios is chosen to validate the effectiveness of the proposed model and method.The results indicate that the scheduled energy storage can effectively compensate for the net load forecast error,and the increasing wind power penetration does not necessarily require a linear increase in energy storage.LI JingHua WEN JinYu CHENG ShiJie WEI Hua 2014Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,12:9
6Probabilistic small signal stability analysis of power system with wind power and photovoltaic power based on probability collocation method显示文摘Recently, with increasing improvements in the penetration of wind power and photovoltaic power in the world, probabilistic small signal stability analysis(PSSSA) of a power system consisting of multiple types of renewable energy has become a key problem. To address this problem, this study proposes a probabilistic collocation method(PCM)-based PSSSA for a power system consisting of wind farms and photovoltaic farms. Compared with the conventional Monte Carlo method, the proposed method meets the accuracy and precision requirements and greatly reduces the computation; therefore, it is suitable for the PSSSA of this power system. Case studies are conducted based on a 4-machine 2-area and New England systems, respectively. The simulation results show that, by reducing synchronous generator output to improve the penetration of renewable energy, the probabilistic small signal stability(PSSS) of the system is enhanced. 7Bifurcation analysis for an SMIB power system with series capacitor compensation associated with sub-synchronous resonance显示文摘In this paper,an introduction to the bifurcation theory and its applicability to the study of sub-synchronous resonance (SSR) phenomenon in power system are presented. The continuation and bifurcation analysis software AUTO97 is adopted to investigate SSR for a single-machine-infinite-bus power system with series capacitor compensation. The investigation results show that SSR is the result of unstable limit cycle after bifurcation. When the system exhibits SSR, some complex periodical orbit bifurcations, such as torus bifurcation and periodical fold bifurcation, may happen with the variation of limit cycle. Furthermore, the initial operation condition may greatly influence the ultimate state of the system. 8Overview to the Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope (Insight-HXMT) Satellite显示文摘As China’s first X-ray astronomical satellite, the Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope (HXMT), which was dubbed as Insight-HXMT after the launch on June 15, 2017, is a wide-band(1-250 ke V) slat-collimator-based X-ray astronomy satellite with the capability of all-sky monitoring in 0.2-3 Me V. 11Early Age of Onset, Multiple Primary Malignancies and Poor Prognosis Are Indicative of an Inherited Predisposition to Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma in Familial Rather Than Sporadic Disease- An Update Based on 14- to 23-year Follow-up显示文摘<正> OBJECTIVE To demonstrate the effects of an inheritedpredisposition to familial esophageal squamous cellcarcinoma (ESCC) through the comparison and analysis of theclinicopathologic differences between familial and sporadic ESCCcases.METHODS Differences in age of onset, prevalence rates ofdouble primary ESCC, and survival rates between familial ESCC (n= 476) and sporadic ESCC cases (n = 1226) were analyzed.RESULTS Overall, familial ESCC cases showed a significantlyyounger age of onset (51.9 ± 8.2 vs. 53.4 ± 8.0, P_(t-test) = 0.00), asignificantly higher prevalence rate for double ESCC (2.73 % vs.1.22%, adjusted with TNM:χ_(MH)~2= 4.029, P = 0.045), and a lowersurvival rate than in sporadic cases (P_(wald) = 0.04). The familial casesshowed both a younger age of onset and poorer survival in mostsubgroups, and the differences were more marked in early-stagerather than in the late-stage disease groups.CONCLUSION Theses findings confirm the existence of familialas opposed to sporadic ESCC. 12Dynamic evolution and the mechanism of modern gully agriculture regional function in the Loess Plateau显示文摘The agricultural regional type and function are the key theoretical issues in agricultural geography research.Gully agriculture in the Loess Plateau is a new regional type of agricultural system with the coupling development of the modern gully human-earth relationship.The study of its functional changes is of great practical significance for food security,rural revitalization and sustainable development of regional agriculture in the region of interest.This paper analyses the multifunctional change of gully agriculture in the Loess Plateau and its dynamic mechanism by using large-scale remote sensing data,topographic relief amplitude model,and spatial econometric model to understand internal implications for evolution differentiation at the basin level.The results show that:(1)The spatial concentration of production and supply function of agricultural products(APF)in the gully of the Loess Plateau gully is high,while the ecological conservation and maintenance function(ECF),employment and social security function(ESF),cultural heritage and leisure function(CRF)are relatively low.The four functions’spatial distribution has revealed an apparent regularity.(2)APF has been significantly enhanced,which is mainly distributed in point clusters and strips in the farming and pastoral areas in northern Shaanxi to the Yanhe river basin.The high-value areas of ESF are clustered around the urbanized metropolitan circles and urban-rural staggered areas along the Great Wall.ECF is concentrated in areas with significant natural endowments and excellent ecological conditions.CRF is significantly higher in the municipal districts and the surrounding regional central cities.(3)There are noticeable differences in the gully agriculture regional function(GARF)evolution process due to the geographical environment and socio-economic development stages.In this regard,natural factors have tremendously affected APF,ESF,and ECF,while socio-economic factors greatly differ in the four functions.There are still differences in the driving mechanisms of modern gully agriculture evolution types;hence many critical policies in the Loess Plateau can directly affect the function evolution paths.The dynamic evolution of GARF can reflect the general law of rural human-earth system transition in gully areas,thereby providing policy ideas for high-quality development of agriculture in the Loess Plateau.QU Lulu LI Yurui WANG Yongsheng DONG Shijie WEN Qi 2022Journal of Geographical Sciences2022,32,11:1
