1Impact of National Centralized Drug Procurement Policy on Antiviral Utilization and Expenditure for Hepatitis B in China显示文摘Background and Aims:The National Centralized Drug Procurement(NCDP)policy was launched in China's Mainland in April 2019,with entecavir(ETV)and tenofovir disoproxil fumarate(TDF)being included in the procurement list.We conducted the current study to investigate the impact of the NCDP policy on the utilization and expenditures of antiviral therapy for chronic hepatitis B(CHB)in China.Methods:Procurement records,including monthly purchase volume,expenditure,and price of nucleos(t)ide analogs(NAs),were derived from the National Healthcare Security Administration from April 2018 to March 2021.The changes in volumes and expenditures of the first-line NAs and bid-winning products were calculated.The effects of price,volume,and structure related to drug expenditure were calculated by the Addis and Magrini(AM)Index System Analysis.Results:The purchase volume of NAs significantly increased from 134.3 to 318.3 million DDDs,whereas the expenditure sharply decreased from 1,623.41 to 490.43 million renminbi(RMB)or 241.94 to 73.09 million US dollars(USD).The proportions of firstline NAs rose from 72.51%(ETV:69.00%,TDF:3.51%)to 94.97%(ETV:77.42%,TDF:17.55%).AM analysis showed that the NCDP policy decreased the expenditure of all NAs(S=0.91)but increased that of the first-line NAs in the bidwinning list(S=1.13).Assuming the population size of CHB patients remains stable and a compliance rate of≥75%,the proportion of CHB patients receiving first-line antiviral therapy would increase from 6.36–8.48%to 11.56–15.41%.Conclusions:The implementation of the NCDP policy significantly increased the utilization of first-line NAs for CHB patients at a lower expenditure.The findings provided evidence for optimizing antiviral therapy strategy and allocating medical resources in China.Xinyu Zhao Min Li Hao Wang Xiaoqian Xu Xiaoning Wu Yameng Sun Canjian Ning Bingqiong Wang Shuyan Chen Hong You Jidong Jia Yuanyuan Kong 2022Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2022,10,3:4

3Recent Advancements on Photothermal Conversion and Antibacterial Applications over MXenes-Based Materials显示文摘The pernicious bacterial proliferation and emergence of super-resistant bacteria have already posed a great threat to public health,which drives researchers to develop antibiotic-free strategies to eradicate these fierce microbes.Although enormous achievements have already been achieved,it remains an arduous challenge to realize efficient sterilization to cut off the drug resistance generation.Recently,photothermal therapy(PTT)has emerged as a promising solution to efficiently damage the integrity of pathogenic bacteria based on hyperthermia beyond their tolerance.Until now,numerous photothermal agents have been studied for antimicrobial PTT.Among them,MXenes(a type of two-dimensional transition metal carbides or nitrides)are extensively investigated as one of the most promising candidates due to their high aspect ratio,atomic-thin thickness,excellent photothermal performance,low cytotoxicity,and ultrahigh dispersibility in aqueous systems.Besides,the enormous application scenarios using their antibacterial properties can be tailored via elaborated designs of MXenes-based materials.In this review,the synthetic approaches and textural properties of MXenes have been systematically presented first,and then the photothermal properties and sterilization mechanisms using MXenes-based materials are documented.Subsequently,recent progress in diverse fields making use of the photothermal and antibacterial performances of MXenes-based materials are well summarized to reveal the potential applications of these materials for various purposes,including in vitro and in vivo sterilization,solar water evaporation and purification,and flexible antibacterial fabrics.Last but not least,the current challenges and future perspectives are discussed to provide theoretical guidance for the fabrication of efficient antimicrobial systems using MXenes.Shuyan Hao Hecheng Han Zhengyi Yang Mengting Chen Yanyan Jiang Guixia Lu Lun Dong Hongling Wen Hui Li Jiurong Liu Lili Wu Zhou Wang Fenglong Wang 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,11:4
4Microstructural characteristics of cold-rolled Zr-2.5Nb alloy annealed near the monotectoid temperature显示文摘A dual-phase Zr-2.5 Nb alloy was rolled at room temperature to 50% reduction and then annealed at two temperatures(560 and580°C) near the monotectoid temperature. X-ray diffraction, electron channeling contrast imaging and electron backscatter diffraction techniques were jointly used to characterize microstructural characteristics developed in the as-rolled and annealed specimens. Results show that plastic deformation occurs in both bulk α-Zr grains and thin β-Zr films during rolling, allowing large lattice strains to be accumulated in β-Zr and active dislocation slip(especially the prismatic áa?slip) to be initiated in α-Zr. During subsequent annealing at 580°C, the prior β-Zr films are transformed into submicron β-Zr particles, which lose coherency(the Burgers orientation relationship) with surrounding α grains. In the specimen annealed at 560°C, however, the prior β-Zr films are found to be decomposed into nanoscale β-Nb particles. In both the annealed specimens, the β-Zr and the β-Nb particles appeared to be linearly distributed along the rolling direction. Two types of α structures, i.e., small equiaxed crystallites formed by recovery of dislocation structures and coarse bamboo-like recrystallized grains, are revealed in the annealed specimens. 5Bimodal plate structures induced by pulsed laser in duplex-phase Zr alloy显示文摘A duplex-phase Zr-2.5Nb alloy was treated by pulsed laser, followed by careful microstructural characterization using field emission gun scanning electron microscope and attached electron backscatter diffraction. Beneath the modification zones with common uniform α-plate structures(UPS), a layer of unreported bimodal α-plate structures(BPS) featured by coarse(submicron)plates forming multiple cores surrounded by dense fine(nanoscale) plates was found. Presence of such BPS is attributed to non-equilibrium thermodynamic conditions induced by the pulsed laser treatments. Limited diffusion of Nb due to the short pulse during laser heating allows β phases with distinctly different Nb contents to be presented: Nb-enriched prior β films and Nb-depleted β phases, transforming into the fine and the coarse plates during cooling, respectively. 6Serrated lithium fluoride nanofibers-woven interlayer enables uniform lithium deposition for lithium-metal batteries显示文摘The uncontrollable formation of Li dendrites has become the biggest obstacle to the practical application of Li-metal anodes in high-energy rechargeable Li batteries.Herein,a unique LiF interlayer woven by millimeter-level,single-crystal and serrated LiF nanofibers(NFs)was designed to enable dendrite-free and highly efficient Li-metal deposition.This high-conductivity Li F interlayer can increase the Li^(+)transference number and induce the formation of’Li F–NFs-rich’solid–electrolyte interface(SEI).In the’Li F–NFs-rich’SEI,the ultra-long Li F nanofibers provide a continuously interfacial Li^(+)transport path.Moreover,the formed Li–LiF interface between Li-metal and SEI film renders low Li nucleation and high Li^(+)migration energy barriers,leading to uniform Li plating and stripping processes.As a result,steady charge–discharge in a Li//Li symmetrical cell for 1600 h under 4 m Ah cm^(-2)and 400 stable cycles under a high area capacity of 5.65 mAh cm^(-2)in a high-loading Li//rGO–S cell at 17.9 mA cm^(-2)could be achieved.The free-standing LiF–NFs interlayer exhibits superior advantages for commercial Li batteries and displays significant potential for expanding the applications in solid Li batteries.Shuangshuang Tan Yalong Jiang Shuyan Ni Hao Wang Fangyu Xiong Lianmeng Cui Xuelei Pan Chen Tang Yaoguang Rong Qinyou An Liqiang Mai 2022National Science Review2022,9,11:2
7Comprehensive identification and characterization of simple sequence repeats based on the whole-genome sequences of 14 forest and fruit trees显示文摘Simple sequence repeats(SSRs)are popular and important molecular markers that exist widely in plants.Here,we conducted a comprehensive identification and comparative analysis of SSRs in 14 tree species.A total of 16,298 SSRs were identified from 429,449 genes,and primers were successfully designed for 99.44% of the identified SSRs.Our analysis indicated that tri-nucleotide SSRs were the most abundant,with an average of~834 per species.Functional enrichment analysis by combining SSR-containing genes in all species,revealed 50 significantly enriched terms,with most belonging to transcription factor families associated with plant development and abiotic stresses such as Myeloblastosis_DNA-bind_4(Myb_DNA-bind_4),APETALA2(AP2),and Fantastic Four meristem regulator(FAF).Further functional enrichment analysis showed that 48 terms related to abiotic stress regulation and floral development were significantly enriched in ten species,whereas no significantly enriched terms were found in four species.Interestingly,the largest number of enriched terms was detected in Citrus sinensis(L.)Osbeck,accounting for 54.17% of all significantly enriched functional terms.Finally,we analyzed AP2 and trihelix gene families(Myb_DNA-bind_4)due to their significant enrichment in SSR-containing genes.The results indicated that whole-genome duplication(WGD)and whole genome triplication(WGT)might have played major roles in the expansion of the AP2 gene family but only slightly affected the expansion of the trihelix gene family during evolution.In conclusion,the identification and comprehensive characterization of SSR markers will greatly facilitate future comparative genomics and functional genomics studies.Xiaoming Song Nan Li Yuanyuan Guo Yun Bai Tong Wu Tong Yu Shuyan Feng Yu Zhang Zhiyuan Wang Zhuo Liu Hao Lin 2021Forestry Research2021,1,1:1

10Ultra-long room temperature phosphorescence of indium-based organic inorganic metal halides for naked-eye-visible afterglow显示文摘Solid-state molecules based on room-temperature phosphorescent(RTP)emission have received extensive attention due to their special optical properties of triplet excitons.However,there are still few solid molecular systems with naked-eye-visible afterglow characteristics.Herein,we introduce 4-phenylbenzylamine(namely PBA)with a long conjugated system into common non-toxic In^(3+)to form an indium-based organic inorganic halide,whose chemical formula is PBA_(3)[InCl_6]·H_(2)O.Interestingly,this hybrid halide generates a RTP emission at 617 nm with a lifetime decay as long as 290.4 ms,expressing a naked-eye-visible afterglow for more than 7 s.The mechanism study shows that the long lifetime RTP originated from the specific lamellar stacking of organic molecules and metal halide units,facilitating the interaction between the inorganic layers and organic layers.Therefore,the material can be potentially used in emergency lighting,information security,and other fields.Meanwhile,this work provides a reference for the design and implementation of a more efficient organic-inorganic hybrid system with the ultralong RTP emission.Heng Yu Hao Gong Zhaorui Hua Yang Zhang Wenming Sun Shuyan Gong Ganglong Cui Yang Tian Hongbing Fu 2023Science China Chemistry2023,66,9:0
11Comparative analysis of long noncoding RNAs in angiosperms and characterization of long noncoding RNAs in response to heat stress in Chinese cabbage显示文摘Long noncoding RNAs(lncRNAs)are widely present in different species and play critical roles in response to abiotic stresses.However,the functions of lncRNAs in Chinese cabbage under heat stress remain unknown.Here,we first conducted a global comparative analysis of 247,242 lncRNAs among 37 species.The results indicated that lncRNAs were poorly conserved among different species,and only 960 lncRNAs were homologous to 524 miRNA precursors.We then carried out lncRNA sequencing for a genome-wide analysis of lncRNAs and their target genes in Chinese cabbage at different stages of heat treatment.In total,18,253 lncRNAs were identified,of which 1229 differentially expressed(DE)lncRNAs were characterized as being heat-responsive.The ceRNA network revealed that 38 lncRNAs,16 miRNAs,and 167 mRNAs were involved in the heat response in Chinese cabbage.Combined analysis of the cis-and trans-regulated genes indicated that the targets of DE lncRNAs were significantly enriched in the“protein processing in endoplasmic reticulum”and“plant hormone signal transduction”pathways.Furthermore,the majority of HSP and PYL genes involved in these two pathways exhibited similar expression patterns and responded to heat stress rapidly.Based on the networks of DE lncRNA-mRNAs,29 and 22 lncRNAs were found to interact with HSP and PYL genes,respectively.Finally,the expression of several critical lncRNAs and their targets was verified by qRT-PCR.Overall,we conducted a comparative analysis of lncRNAs among 37 species and performed a comprehensive analysis of lncRNAs in Chinese cabbage.Our findings expand the knowledge of lncRNAs involved in the heat stress response in Chinese cabbage,and the identified lncRNAs provide an abundance of resources for future comparative and functional studies.Xiaoming Song Jingjing Hu Tong Wu Qihang Yang Xuehuan Feng Hao Lin Shuyan Feng Chunlin Cui Ying Yu Rong Zhou Ke Gong Tong Yu Qiaoying Pei Nan Li 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:0

14Engineering Vacancy-Atom Ensembles to Boost Catalytic Activity toward Hydrogen Evolution显示文摘The dissociation of water is the rate-determining step of several energy-relating reactions due to high energy barrier in homolysis of H-O bond.Herein,engineering vacancy-atom ensembles via injecting oxygen vacancy(V O)into single facet-exposed TiO_(2)-Pd catalyst to form V_(O)-Pd ensemble is proposed and implemented.The outstanding activity of as-prepared catalyst,1.5-PdTV_(O),toward water dissociation is established with a turnover frequency of 240 min^(−1) in ammonia borane hydrolysis at 298 K.Density functional theory simulation suggests that the V_(O)-Pd ensemble is responsible for the high intrinsic catalytic activity.Water molecules tend to be dissociated on V_(O) sites and ammonia borane molecules on Pd atoms.Those H atoms from water dissociation on V_(O) combine with H atoms from ammonia borane on Pd atoms to generate H_(2).This insights into engineering vacancy-atom ensembles catalysis provide a new avenue to design catalytic materials for important energy chemical reactions.Ruofan Shen Yanyan Liu Hao Wen Xianli Wu Zhikun Peng Sehrish Mehdi Tao Liu Huanhuan Zhang Shuyan Guan Erjun Liang Baojun Li 2023Energy & Environmental Materials2023,6,1:0
15Cloning and characterization of a new endo-type polyG-specific alginate lyase from bacteria Vibrio sp. QD-5显示文摘Seven bacterial clones with alginate-utilizing activity were isolated from rotten kelp. By activity test, the Vibrio sp. QD-5 with the potential alginate-degrading capability was chosen to carry out the draft genome sequencing, and the result showed that the Vibrio sp. QD-5 containing an alginate lyase gene cluster. One of these genes, aly-IV, was cloned and characterized for the first time. After overexpression, Aly-IV, with a molecular mass of about 62 kDa and a theoretical isoelectric point (pI) of 5.12, was purified to a specific activity of 1 256.78 U/mg and showed highest activity at 35°C in the Tris-HCl buffer at pH of 8.9. Moreover, the enzyme activity was enhanced by the metal ions of Na+, K+ and Mg2+ under certain concentration. Aly-IV degraded favorably polyG blocks in an endo-type, yielding monomer and dimer as the main products. 16Nitrogen‑Doped Magnetic‑Dielectric‑Carbon Aerogel for High‑Efficiency Electromagnetic Wave Absorption显示文摘Carbonbased aerogels derived from biomass chitosan are encountering a flourishing moment in electromagnetic protection on account of lightweight,controllable fabrication and versatility.Nevertheless,developing a facile construction method of component design with carbon-based aerogels for high-efficiency electromagnetic wave absorption(EWA)materials with a broad effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)and strong absorption yet hits some snags.Herein,the nitrogen-doped magnetic-dielectric-carbon aerogel was obtained via ice template method followed by carbonization treatment,homogeneous and abundant nickel(Ni)and manganese oxide(MnO)particles in situ grew on the carbon aerogels.Thanks to the optimization of impedance matching of dielectric/magnetic components to carbon aerogels,the nitrogen-doped magnetic-dielectric-carbon aerogel(Ni/MnO-CA)suggests a praiseworthy EWA performance,with an ultra-wide EAB of 7.36 GHz and a minimum reflection loss(RLmin)of−64.09 dB,while achieving a specific reflection loss of−253.32 dB mm−1.Furthermore,the aerogel reveals excellent radar stealth,infrared stealth,and thermal management capabilities.Hence,the high-performance,easy fabricated and multifunctional nickel/manganese oxide/carbon aerogels have broad application aspects for electromagnetic protection,electronic devices and aerospace.Shijie Wang Xue Zhang Shuyan Hao Jing Qiao Zhou Wang Lili Wu Jiurong Liu Fenglong Wang 2024Nano-Micro Letters2024,16,1:0

18Coupling atom ensemble and electron transfer in PdCu for superior catalytic kinetics in hydrogen generation显示文摘The design of high-performance catalysts is the key to the efficient utilization of hydrogen energy.In this work,a PdCu nanoalloy was successfully anchored on TiO_(2)encapsulated with carbon to construct a catalyst.Outstanding kinetics of the hydrolysis of ammonia borane(turnover frequency of 279 mol·min^(-1·)mol_(Pd)^(-1))ranking the third place among Pd-based catalysts was achieved in the absence of alkali.Both experimental research and theoretical calculations reveal a lower activation energy of the B-H bond on the PdCu nanoalloy catalyst than that on pristine Pd and a lower activation energy of the O-H bond than that on pristine Cu.The redistribution of d electron and the shift of the d-band center play a critical role in increasing the electron density of Pd and improving the catalytic performances of Pd_(0.1)Cu_(0.9)/TiO_(2)-porous carbon(Pd_(0.1)Cu_(0.9)/T-PC).This work provides novel insights into highly dual-active alloys and sheds light on the mechanism of dual-active sites in promoting borohydride hydrolysis.Xinru Zhao Yanyan Liu Huiyu Yuan Hao Wen Huanhuan Zhang Saima Ashraf Shuyan Guan Tao Liu Sehrish Mehdi Ruofan Shen Xianji Guo Yanping Fan Baozhong Liu Baojun Li 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:0
