1A two-step lineage reprogramming strategy to generate functionally competent human hepatocytes from fibroblasts显示文摘Terminally differentiated cells can be generated by lineage reprogramming,which is,however,hindered by incomplete conversion with residual initial cell identity and partial functionality. Here, we demonstrate a new reprogramming strategy by mimicking the natural regeneration route, which permits generating expandable hepatic progenitor cells and functionally competent human hepatocytes. Fibroblasts were first induced into human hepatic progenitor-like cells (hHPLCs), which could robustly expand in vitro and efficiently engraft in vivo. Moreover, hHPLCs could be efficiently induced into mature human hepatocytes (hiHeps) in vitro, whose molecular identity highly resembles primary human hepatocytes (PHHs). Most importantly, hiHeps could be generated in large quantity and were functionally competent to replace PHHs for drug-metabolism estimation, toxicity prediction and hepatitis B virus infection modeling. Our results highlight the advantages of the progenitor stage for successful lineage reprogramming. 4The optimization of hydrothermal process of MoS2 nanosheets and their good microwave absorption performances显示文摘In this study,flower-like MoS2 constructed by nanosheets was synthesized by a simple hydrothermal method.The hydrothermal process was optimized and the effects of hydrothermal condition,including reaction temperature,reaction time and the ratio of Mo source to S source(Mo:S)in precursor,on microwave absorption performances and dielectric properties were investigated.Our results showed that when the reaction temperature was 180℃,the reaction time was 18 h,and the Mo:S was 1:3.5,the synthesized MoS2 had the best performance:Its minimum reflection loss could reach-55.78 dB,and the corresponding matching thickness was 2.30 mm with a wide effective bandwidth of 5.17 GHz.Further researches on the microwave absorption mechanism revealed that in addition to the destructive interference of electromagnetic waves,various polarization phenomena such as defect dipole polarization were the main reasons for microwave loss.We believe that MoS2 is a candidate for a practical microwave absorbent.Xiaoyu Lin Jing Wang Zengyong Chu Dongqing Liu Taotao Guo Lingni Yang Zhenyu Huang Sitong Mu Shun Li 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,5:2

6Achieving high thermoelectric performance through carrier concentration optimization and energy filtering in Cu_(3)SbSe_(4)-based materials显示文摘The previous works commonly adjust the carrier concentration through acceptor doping,but at the same time,the decrease of the Seebeck coefficient limits the further improvement of electrical properties in Cu_(3)SbSe_(4)-based materials.In this work,a microwave-assisted hydrothermal synthesis method was used to synthesize Cu_(3)SbSe_(4)/TiO_(2) hollow microspheres.Part of TiO_(2) participates in the reaction,replaces the Sb site of Cu_(3)SbSe_(4) to form holes,and the rest is dispersed in the matrix in the form of the second phase.The first-principles calculations reveal that the doping of Ti significantly changes the band structure and phonon spectrum,thereby regulating carrier concentration while increasing phonon scattering.In addition,experimental results show that the energy filtering effect generated by the extra-mixed TiO_(2) nano particles,which suppresses the decrease of Seebeck coefficient by acceptor doping.Consequently,the highest average power factor 897.5 mW m^(-1) K^(-2) and the zT peak value of 0.70 can be obtained in Cu_(3)SbSe_(4)/6%TiO_(2) sample at 298e623 K.This work provides a new sight to improve the thermoelectric properties in Cu_(3)SbSe_(4) through carrier concentration regulation and nano-phase composition.Sitong Wei Boyi Wang Zipei Zhang Wenhao Li Lu Yu Shikai Wei Zhen Ji Weiyu Song Shuqi Zheng 2022Journal of Materiomics2022,8,5:1
7Growth process and short chain alcohol separation performance of fluoride-containing NaY zeolite membrane显示文摘Growth process of the NaY zeolite membranes was investigated by fluoride-containing precursor synthesis gel.Compared with the fluoride-free precursor synthesis gel,the irregular NaY zeolite crystals were dissolved into amorphous by the fluoride-containing precursor synthesis gel initially,the amorphous contained the Y-type zeolite characteristic bands by the IR characterization.The fine square NaY zeolite crystals arose from the amorphous,which were accumulated and gradually grew into a dense NaY zeolite layer on the support surface after 6.5 h.Because the excessive NaY zeolites were dissolved by the strong alkaline and fluoride-containing precursor synthesis gel,there was plenty of amorphous on NaY zeolites layer for prolonging the crystallization time.The assynthesized NaY zeolite membranes had a good separation performance and repeatability for separation of 10 wt%methanol(MeOH)/methyl methacrylate(MMA) mixture by pervaporation,the flux and separation factor were(1.27 ± 0.07) kg·M^(-2)·h^(-1) and(4900 ± 1500) at 323 K,respectively.Besides,the NaY zeolite membranes were applied to separate the other short chain alcohol from the various alcohol/organic ester and alcohol/organic ether mixtures,the NaY zeolite membranes showed high short chain alcohol perm-selectivity.Xiaopan Chen Meihua Zhu Sitong Xiang Tian Gui TingWu Yuqin Li NaHu Izumi Kumakiri Xiangshu Chen Hidetoshi Kita 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,1:1

10Identification of Expression Pattern and Clinical Significance of the Small Cajal Body-specific RNA SCARNA16 in Hepatocellular Carcinoma显示文摘Background and Aims:For high morbidity and mortality,hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)becomes a major health issue worldwide.Nowadays,numerous non-coding RNAs(ncRNAs)are known to regulate the occurrence and patho-genesis of tumors.Some ncRNAs have also been developed as tumor biomarkers and therapeutic targets.However,the potential function of the small Cajal body-specific RNA(scaRNA)SCARNA16,a newly identified ncRNA,remains to be explored in HCC.Methods:In both HCC cell lines and specimens from 120 enrolled patients,the expression val-ues of SCARNA16 were detected.We divided patients into SCARNA16 high and low expression subgroups,and then analyzed the difference of various clinical characteristics and prognosis data between subgroups.Results:Compared to paired controls,SCARNA16 was significantly down-regulated in HCC cell lines and clinical specimens(p<0.01).Besides,HCC patients with lower SCARNA16 expression commonly presented with larger and more tumor lesions,more ves-sel carcinoma emboli,more capsular invasion and higher TNM stages(p<0.05).Moreover,SCARNA16 expression was negatively correlated with postoperative prognosis of HCC patients in 5-year follow-up,including tumor-free survival(TFS)(median time of low vs.high subgroups:14 vs.48 months,p=0.006)and overall survival(OS)(median time of low vs.high subgroups:39 vs.52 months,p=0.001).Besides,SCARNA16 acted as an independent prognostic bio-marker in TFS(hazard ratio[HR]:0.578,95%CI:0.345-0.969,p=0.038)and OS(HR:0.366,95%CI:0.178-0.752,p=0.006).Conclusions:Low expression patterns of SCAR-NA16 remarkably associated with severe clinical status and poor survival of patients,suggesting that SCARNA16 pos-sesses potency as a novel biomarker for HCC.Sitong Zhang Yuan Ding Zhongquan Sun Yao Ge Yanjie Li Xin Han Qianhui Xu Liuzhi Zhou Yining Chen Hao Xu Yang Bai Chang Xu Hao Ding Sheng Yan Weilin Wang 2022Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2022,10,1:0

12Preparation and Thermal Shock Resistance of Mullite Ceramics for High Temperature Solar Thermal Storage显示文摘Mullite thermal storage ceramics were prepared by low-cost calcined bauxite and kaolin.The phase composition,microstructure,high temperature resistance and thermophysical properties were characterized by modern testing techniques.The experimental results indicate that sample A3(bauxite/kaolin ratio of 5:5)sintered at 1620℃has the optimum comprehensive properties,with bulk density of 2.83 g·cm^(-3)and bending strength of 155.44 MPa.After 30 thermal shocks(1000℃-room temperature,air cooling),the bending strength of sample A3 increases to 166.15 MPa with an enhancement rate of 6.89%,the corresponding thermal conductivity and specific heat capacity are 3.54 W·(m·K)^(-1)and 1.39 kJ·(kg·K)^(-1)at 800℃,and the thermal storage density is 1096 kJ·kg^(-1)(25-800 mullite ceramics;sintering properties;high-temperature thermal storage;thermal shock resistance).Mullite forms a dense and continuous interlaced network microstructure,which endows the samples high thermal storage density and high bending strength,but the decrease of bauxite/kaolin ratio leads to the decrease of mullite content,which reduces the properties of the samples.吴建锋 章真宇 XU Xiaohong MA Sitong LI Peixian SHI Xingxing 2023Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2023,38,4:0
13Enhanced thermoelectric performance in n-type Mg_(3.2)Sb_(1.5)Bi_(0.5) doping with lanthanides at the Mg site显示文摘Mg-based thermoelectric materials have attracted more and more attention because of their rich composition elements,green environmental protection,and lower price.In recent years,the thermoelectric properties of n-type Mg_(3)Sb_(2) materials have been optimized by doping chalcogenide elements(S,Se,and Te)at the anionic position.In this work,n-type Mg_(3.2)A_(x)Sb_(1.5)Bi_(0.5)(A=Gd,Ho;x=0.01,0.02,0.03,and 0.4)samples were prepared by the cation site doping of lanthanide elements(Gd and Ho).The research results show that Gd and Ho doped n-type Mg3.2Sb1.5Bi0.5samples are entirely comparable to the S,Se,and Te doped n-type Mg3.2Sb1.5Bi0.5samples,demonstrating more excellent thermoelectric properties.Doping with lanthanides(Gd and Ho)at the Mg site increases the carrier concentration of the material to 8.161×10^(19)cm^(-3).Doping induces the contribution of more electron,thus obtaining higher conductivity.The maximum zT value of the Mg_(3.2)Gd_(0.02)Sb_(1.5)Bi_(0.5) and the Mg_(3.2)Ho_(0.02)Sb_(1.5)Bi_(0.5) samples reaches 1.61 and 1.55,respectively.This work theoretically and experimentally demonstrates Gd and Ho are efficient n-type dopants for Mg_(3.2)Sb_(1.5)Bi_(0.5) thermoelectric material.Lu Yu Zipei Zhang Juan Li Wenhao Li Shikai Wei Sitong Wei Guiwu Lu Weiyu Song Shuqi Zheng 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,32:0
14Effect of the Filling Liquid Ratio on the Thermal Performance of a Novel Thermal Diode with Wick显示文摘The application of thermal diodes,which allow heat to flow more readily in one direction than the other,is an important way to reduce energy consumption in buildings and enhance the battery heat dissipation of electric vehicles.Depending on various factors including the specific design,materials used,and operating conditions,the convective thermal diode can exhibit the best thermal rectification effect in intended applications compared to the other thermal diodes.In this study,a novel convective thermal diode with a wick was proposed based on the phase change heat transfer mechanism.This design takes advantage of both capillary forces provided by the wick and gravity to achieve enhanced unidirectional heat transfer performance for the designed convective thermal diode.The effect of the filling liquid ratio on the thermal performance of the thermal diode was experimentally investigated,which was in good agreement with the theoretical analysis.The research findings showed that with an optimal liquid filling ratio of 140%,the thermal diode with a wick can achieve a better thermal rectification ratio when subjected to a lower heating power,and the maximum thermal rectification ratio of 21.76 was experimentally achieved when the heating power of the thermal diode was 40 W.LI Zhiyong MING Tingzhen ZHANG Heyu ZHAO Sitong WANG Qinggang CAI Cunjin YIN Kui FANG Yueping WU Yongjia 2024Journal of Thermal Science2024,33,2:0
15Mild Renal Dysfunction and Risk of Thromboembolism and Bleeding in Patients with Atrial Fibrillation:The Chinese Atrial Fibrillation Registry Study显示文摘Objective:Previous studies indicated that patients with atrial fibrillation(AF)and moderate-to-severe chronic kidney disease(CKD)are at a higher risk of thromboembolism and bleeding during anticoagulation.Whether mild CKD is associated with an increased risk of thromboembolism and bleeding in AF patients remains unknown.This study aimed to evaluate the impact of mild CKD on thromboembolism and major bleeding among patients with AF.Methods:Baseline serum creatinine was available in 17,559 of 25,512 patients enrolled in the China-AF study between August 2011 and December 2018.After excluding those who underwent AF ablation or with moderate-to-severe CKD,7191 non-valvular AF patients(2059 with mild CKD and 5132 with normal renal function)with regular follow-up for at least 6 months were included.Primary outcomes were the time to the first occurrence of thromboembolic and major bleeding events.Results:Over a mean follow-up of(44.4±23.4)months,639 thromboembolism and 231 major bleeding events occurred.The crude incidence rates of thromboembolism were higher in the mild CKD group than that of the normal renal function group(3.0/100 person-years vs.2.2/100 person-years,P<0.0001),while the crude incidence rates of major bleeding were comparable between the two groups(1.0/100 person-years vs.0.8/100 person-years,P=0.076).After multivariate analyses,mild CKD was not associated with an increased risk of thromboembolism(HR=1.05,95%CI:0.89-1.25,P=0.547)or major bleeding(HR=1.11,95%CI:0.84–1.47,P=0.476).Conclusions:Mild CKD was not an independent risk factor of thromboembolism or major bleeding in patients with AF.Jingye Li Sitong Li Chao Jiang Jing Du Xueyuan Guo Songnan Li Chenxi Jiang Ribo Tang Caihua Sang Deyong Long Xin Du Jianzeng Dong Changsheng Ma 2021Cardiology Discovery2021,1,1:0

17Research and Application of a Multi-Field Co-Simulation Data Extraction Method Based on Adaptive Infinitesimal Element显示文摘Regarding the spatial profile extraction method of a multi-field co-simulation dataset,different extraction directions,locations,and numbers of profileswill greatly affect the representativeness and integrity of data.In this study,a multi-field co-simulation data extractionmethod based on adaptive infinitesimal elements is proposed.Themultifield co-simulation dataset based on related infinitesimal elements is constructed,and the candidate directions of data profile extraction undergo dimension reduction by principal component analysis to determine the direction of data extraction.Based on the fireworks algorithm,the data profile with optimal representativeness is searched adaptively in different data extraction intervals to realize the adaptive calculation of data extraction micro-step length.The multi-field co-simulation data extraction process based on adaptive microelement is established and applied to the data extraction process of the multi-field co-simulation dataset of the sintering furnace.Compared with traditional data extraction methods for multi-field co-simulation,the approximate model constructed by the data extracted from the proposed method has higher construction efficiency.Meanwhile,the relative maximum absolute error,root mean square error,and coefficient of determination of the approximationmodel are better than those of the approximation model constructed by the data extracted from traditional methods,indicating higher accuracy,it is verified that the proposed method demonstrates sound adaptability and extraction efficiency.Changfu Wan Wenqiang Li Sitong Ling Yingdong Liu Jiahao Chen 2024Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2024,138,1:0

19Mapping QTL affecting the vertical distribution and seed set of soybean [Glycine max(L.) Merr.] pods显示文摘Number of pods per plant and number of seeds per pod are quantitative,multigenic traits and important components of yield in soybean[Glycine max(L.)Merr.].Pods are distributed unevenly in the upper,middle,and lower segments of the plant and this distribution is affected by sowing date(SD).A population of four-way recombinant inbred lines(FW-RIL),containing 160 F2:8 individuals,was generated from the cross(Kenfeng 14×Kenfeng 15)×(Heinong 48×Kenfeng 19).A linkage map consisting of 275 simple sequence repeat(SSR)markers was used to map quantitative trait loci(QTL)associated with the production of one,two,three,and four seeds per pod in the upper,middle,and lower segments of plants at two SDs,totaling 12 measurements per SD.A wide range of variation in the twelve characteristics was observed among the four parental lines and the FW-RIL population at the two SDs.The effect of SD2(May 17,2016)on pod number was stronger than that of SD1(May 7,2016)because the heritability of each trait in the SD1 experiment was generally greater than that of SD2.The study identified 76 QTL controlling pod number,with the phenotypic variation explained by each QTL ranging from 1.86%to 13.71%.The numbers of QTL controlling one,two,three,and four seeds per pod were 28,23,23,and 23,respectively.There were 30,28,and 28 QTL controlling the pod number in the upper,middle,and lower segments of the plant,respectively.Forty-five QTL were identified at SD1 and 38 QTL were identified at SD2.Seventeen QTL were associated with pod-number traits.The QTL qPNA1–3 was associated with the number of pods containing one seed in the middle segment of the plant at both SDs.Sixty-three QTL were published QTL(common areas existed when integrating on a map GmComposite2003 of Wm82 based on left and right markers).and 13 QTL related to pod number were newly discovered.These results provide a reference for breeders to improve soybean yield by combining advantageous alleles for these QTL.Future studies may reveal candidate genes for these QTL and identify causal alleles for markerassisted selection.Shiping Liu Hong Xue Kaixin Zhang Ping Wang Daiqun Su Wenbin Li Shichao Xu Jianan Zhang Zhongying Qi Yanlong Fang Xiyu Li Yue Wang Xiaocui Tian Jie Song Jiajing Wang Chang Yang Sitong Jiang Wen-Xia Li Hailong Ning 2019The Crop Journal2019,7,5:0
20Morphology modulation of artificial muscles by thermodynamic-twist coupling显示文摘Human muscles can grow and change their length with body development;therefore,artificial muscles that modulate their morphology according to changing needs are needed.In this paper,we report a strategy to transform an artificial muscle into a new muscle with a different morphology by thermodynamic-twist coupling,and illustrate its structural evolution during actuation.The muscle length can be continuously modulated over a large temperature range,and actuation occurs by continuously changing the temperature.This strategy is applicable to different actuation modes,including tensile elongation,tensile contraction and torsional rotation.This is realized by twist insertion into a fibre to produce torsional stress.Fibre anne aling causes partial thermodynamic relaxation of the spiral molecular chains,which serves as internal tethering and inhibits fibre twist release,thus producing a self-supporting artificial muscle that actuates under heating.At a sufficiently high temperature,further relaxation of the spiral molecular chains occurs,resulting in a new mus cle with a different length.A structural study provides an understanding of the thermo dynamic-twist coupling.This work provides a new design strategy for intelligent materials.Xiaoyu Hu Jiatian Li Sitong Li Guanghao Zhang Run Wang Zhongsheng Liu Mengmeng Chen Wenqian He Kaiqing Yu Wenzhong Zhai Weiqiang Zhao Abdul Qadeer Khan Shaoli Fang Ray HBaughman Xiang Zhou Zunfeng Liu 2023National Science Review2023,10,1:0
