1Treatment outcomes for different subgroups of nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients treated with intensity-modulated radiation therapy显示文摘Although many studies have investigated intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) for nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC),sample sizes in the reported studies are usually small and different in outcomes in different T and N subgroups are seldom analyzed.Herein,we evaluated the outcomes of NPC patients treated with IMRT and further explored treatment strategy to improve such outcome.We collected clinical data of 865 NPC patients treated with IMRT alone or in combination with chemotherapy,and classified all cases into the following prognostic categories according to different TNM stages:early stage group (T1-2N0-1M0),advanced local disease group (T3-4N0-1M0),advanced nodal disease group (T1-2N2-3M0),and advanced locoregional disease group (T3-4N2-3M0).The 5-year overall survival (OS),local relapse-free survival (LRFS),and distant metastases-free survival (DMFS) were 83.0%,90.4%,and 84.0%,respectively.The early disease group had the lowest treatment failure rate,with a 5-year OS of 95.6%.The advanced local disease group and advanced nodal disease group had similar failure pattern and treatment outcomes as well as similar hazard ratios for death (4.230 and 4.625,respectively).The advanced locoregional disease group had the highest incidence of relapse and death,with a 5-year DMFS and OS of 62.3% and 62.2%,respectively,and a hazard ratio for death of 10.402.Comparing with IMRT alone,IMRT in combination with chemotherapy provided no significant benefit to locoregionally advanced NPC.Our results suggest that the decision of treatment strategy for NPC patients should consider combinations of T and N stages,and that IMRT alone for early stage NPC patients can produce satisfactory results.However,for advanced local,nodal,and locoregional disease groups,a combination of chemotherapy and radiotherapy is recommended.Sheng-Fa Su 1,2,3,Fei Han 1,2,Chong Zhao 1,2,Ying Huang 1,2,Chun-Yan Chen 1,2,Wei-Wei Xiao 1,2,Jia-Xin Li 1,2 and Tai-Xiang Lu 1,2 1 State Key Laboratory of Oncology in South China,Guangzhou,Guangdong 510060,P.R.China 2 Department of Radiation Oncology,Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center,Guangzhou,Guangdong 510060,P.R.China 3 Department of Oncology,Guiyang Medical College Hospital,Tumor Hospital of Guizhou,Guiyang,Guizhou 550003,P.R.China. 2011Chinese Journal of Cancer2011,30,8:40
2AXL is a candidate receptor for SARS-CoV-2 that promotes infection of pulmonary and bronchial epithelial cells显示文摘The current coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic presents a global public health challenge.The viral pathogen responsible,severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),binds to the host receptor ACE2 through its spike(S)glycoprotein,which mediates membrane fusion and viral entry.Although the role of ACE2 as a receptor for SARS-CoV-2 is clear,studies have shown that ACE2 expression is extremely low in various human tissues,especially in the respiratory tract.Thus,other host receptors and/or co-receptors that promote the entry of SARS-CoV-2 into cells of the respiratory system may exist.In this study,we found that the tyrosine-protein kinase receptor UFO(AXL)specifically interacts with the N-terminal domain of SARS-CoV-2 S.Using both a SARS-CoV-2 virus pseudotype and authentic SARS-CoV-2,we found that overexpression of AXL in HEK293T cells promotes SARS-CoV-2 entry as efficiently as overexpression of ACE2,while knocking out AXL significantly reduces SARS-CoV-2 infection in HI 299 pulmonary cells and in human primary lung epithelial cells.Soluble human recombinant AXL blocks SARS-CoV-2 infection in cells expressing high levels of AXL.The AXL expression level is well correlated with SARS-CoV-2 S level in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid cells from COVID-19 patients.Taken together,our findings suggest that AXL is a novel candidate receptor for SARS-CoV-2 which may play an important role in promoting viral infection of the human respiratory system and indicate that it is a potential target for future clinical intervention strategies.Shuai Wang Zongyang Qiu Yingnan Hou Xiya Deng Wei Xu Tingting Zheng Peihan Wu Shaofang Xie Weixiang Bian Chong Zhang Zewei Sun Kunpeng Liu Chao Shan Aifu Lin Shibo Jiang Youhua Xie Qiang Zhou Lu Lu Jing Huang Xu Li 2021Cell Research2021,31,2:39

4A Possible Dynamic Mechanism for Rapid Production of the Extreme Hourly Rainfall in Zhengzhou City on 20 July 2021显示文摘In this study,the unprecedented extreme rainfall event during 19-20 July 2021,which caused devastating flooding in Zhengzhou City and its nearby areas,is examined based on observational data analysis and WRF model 40-h simulations on 1-km horizontal resolution.The results show that the model successfully reproduces(i)major synopticscale weather systems(i.e.,the western Pacific subtropical high,the Tibetan high,two typhoons,and the Huang-Huai cyclone),(ii)convective initiation along the east to north edge of the Songshan Mountain,where orographic lifting is obvious,and(iii)subsequent formation of the convective storm producing the extreme rainfall in Zhengzhou.In particular,the model generates the maximum rainfall rate of 233 mm h^(-1)and 40-h accumulated rainfall of 704 mm,corresponding well to the observed extreme values of 201.9 mm h^(-1)and 818 mm,at nearly observed timing and location.Importantly,the model reproduces an intense quasi-stationary,well-organized meso-γ-scale convective system,surrounded by an arc-shaped convergence zone,allowing the development of convective updrafts in a three-quarter circle around the convective system,in a way similar to“multidirectional pumping,”attracting all associated precipitation overlaid and concentrated into the same trailing region to generate the extreme hourly rainfall over Zhengzhou.Our study emphasizes the significant contribution of the unique dynamic structure of the well-organized meso-γ-scale convective system to the record-high hourly rainfall.A possible dynamic mechanism for short-time extreme rainfall production is proposed.That is,the arc-shaped convergence zone of the mesoscale convective system,acting like multidirectional lifting pumps,transports precipitation from different directions into the same region,and thus produces the extreme rainfall.The results gained herein may shed new light on better understanding and forecasting of short-time extreme rainfall.Jinfang YIN Haodong GU Xudong LIANG Miao YU Jisong SUN Yanxin XIE Feng LI Chong WU 2022Journal of Meteorological Research2022,36,1:17

7Development and validation of an endoscopic images-based deep learning model for detection with nasopharyngeal malignancies显示文摘Background:Due to the occult anatomic location of the nasopharynx and frequent presence of adenoid hyperpla-sia,the positive rate for malignancy identification during biopsy is low,thus leading to delayed or missed diagnosis for nasopharyngeal malignancies upon initial attempt.Here,we aimed to develop an artificial intelligence tool to detect nasopharyngeal malignancies under endoscopic examination based on deep learning.Methods:An endoscopic images-based nasopharyngeal malignancy detection model(eNPM-DM)consisting of a fully convolutional network based on the inception architecture was developed and fine-tuned using separate training and validation sets for both classification and segmentation.Briefly,a total of 28,966 qualified images were collected.Among these images,27,536 biopsy-proven images from 7951 individuals obtained from January 1st,2008,to December 31st,2016,were split into the training,validation and test sets at a ratio of 7:1:2 using simple randomiza-tion.Additionally,1430 images obtained from January 1st,2017,to March 31st,2017,were used as a prospective test set to compare the performance of the established model against oncologist evaluation.The dice similarity coef-ficient(DSC)was used to evaluate the efficiency of eNPM-DM in automatic segmentation of malignant area from the background of nasopharyngeal endoscopic images,by comparing automatic segmentation with manual segmenta-tion performed by the experts.Results:All images were histopathologically confirmed,and included 5713(19.7%)normal control,19,107(66.0%)nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC),335(1.2%)NPC and 3811(13.2%)benign diseases.The eNPM-DM attained an overall accuracy of 88.7%(95%confidence interval(CI)87.8%-89.5%)in detecting malignancies in the test set.In the prospective comparison phase,eNPM-DM outperformed the experts:the overall accuracy was 88.0%(95%CI 86.1%-89.6%)vs.80.5%(95%CI 77.0%-84.0%).The eNPM-DM required less time(40 s vs.110.0±5.8 min)and exhibited encouraging performance in automatic segmentation of nasopharyngeal malignant area from the background,with an average DSC of 0.78±0.24 and 0.75±0.26 in the test and prospective test sets,respectively.Conclusions:The eNPM-DM outperformed oncologist evaluation in diagnostic classification of nasopharyngeal mass into benign versus malignant,and realized automatic segmentation of malignant area from the background of nasopharyngeal endoscopic images.Chaofeng Li Bingzhong Jing Liangru Ke Bin Li Weixiong Xia Caisheng He Chaonan Qian Chong Zhao Haiqiang Mai Mingyuan Chen Kajia Cao Haoyuan Mo Ling Guo Qiuyan Chen Linquan Tang Wenze Qiu Yahui Yu Hu Liang Xinjun Huang Guoying Liu Wangzhong Li Lin Wang Rui Sun Xiong Zou Shanshan Guo Peiyu Huang Donghua Luo Fang Qiu Yishan Wu Yijun Hua Kuiyuan Liu Shuhui Lv Jingjing Miao Yanqun Xiang Ying Sun Xiang Guo Xing Lv 2018Cancer Communications2018,38,1:9
8Outcomes in children with biliary atresia following liver transplantation显示文摘BACKGROUND: Congenital biliary atresia is a rare condition characterized by idiopathic dysgenesis of the bile ducts. If untreated, congenital biliary atresia leads to liver cirrhosis, liver failure and premature death. The present study aimed to evaluate the outcomes of orthotopic liver transplantation in children with biliary atresia. METHOD: We retrospectively analyzed 45 patients with biliary atresia who had undergone orthotopic liver transplantation from September 2006 to August 2012. RESULTS: The median age of the patients was 11.0 months (5-102). Of the 45 patients, 41 were younger than 3 years old. Their median weight was 9.0 kg (4.5-29.0), 34 of the 45 patients were less than 10 kg. Thirty-one patients had undergone Kasai portoenterostomy prior to orthotopic liver transplantation. We performed 30 living donor liver transplants and 15 split liver transplants. Six patients died during a follow-up. The median follow-up time of surviving patients was 11.4 months (1.4-73.7). The overall 1-, 2- and 3-year survival rates were 88.9%, 84.4% and 84.4%, respectively. 9Status and development of high-power laser facilities at the NLHPLP显示文摘In this paper, we review the status of the multifunctional experimental platform at the National Laboratory of High Power Laser and Physics(NLHPLP). The platform, including the SG-II laser facility, SG-II 9th beam, SG-II upgrade(SG-II UP) facility, and SG-II 5 PW facility, is operational and available for interested scientists studying inertial confinement fusion(ICF) and a broad range of high-energy-density physics. These facilities can provide important experimental capabilities by combining different pulse widths of nanosecond, picosecond, and femtosecond scales. In addition, the SG-II UP facility, consisting of a single petawatt system and an eight-beam nanosecond system, is introduced including several laser technologies that have been developed to ensure the performance of the facility. 11TGIF2 promotes the progression of lung adenocarcinoma by bridging EGFR/RAS/ERK signaling to cancer cell stemness显示文摘TGF-β-induced factor homeobox 2(TGIF2)is a transcription regulator that plays essential roles in the regulation of development and cell fate decisions.Aberrant expression of TGIF family proteins has been observed in several cancers,including ovarian,esophageal,and colorectal cancers.Here,we report that TGIF2 mediates the EGFR–RAS–ERK signaling pathway to enhance the stemness of lung adenocarcinoma(LUAD)cells and,therefore,promote the progression and metastasis of LUAD.We found that high TGIF2 expression was closely correlated with tumor growth,lymph node metastasis,and survival of patients with LUAD.Mice bearing TGIF2-silenced H1299 xenografts developed smaller tumors and fewer lung metastases.Importantly,silencing TGIF2 decreased the cancer stem cell(CSC)-like properties in A549 and H1299 cells.Furthermore,we identified that TGIF2 binding to the OCT4 promoter promotes its expression.In both LUAD cells and in vivo LUAD mouse models,we revealed that EGFR–RAS–ERK signaling phosphorylated TGIF2 and increased its stability,which was important for TGIF2-promoted LUAD stemness since phosphorylation-deficient TGIF2 mutants lost these functions.Thus,our study revealed that an important factor,TGIF2,bridges EGFR signaling to the CSC characteristics of LUAD cells,which can be utilized as an effective target for LUAD therapy.Renle Du Wenzhi Shen Yi Liu Wenjuan Gao Wei Zhou Jun Li Shuangtao Zhao Chong Chen Yanan Chen Yanhua Liu Peiqing Sun Rong Xiang Yi Shi Yunping Luo 2019Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2019,4,1:7
12New Schizolepis Fossils from the Early Cretaceous in Inner Mongolia, China and its Phylogenetic Position显示文摘Three Schizolepis species collected from the Lower Cretaceous layer of the Huolinhe Basin,Inner Mongolia,China are described.These fossils are Schizolepis longipetiolus Xu XH et Sun BN sp.nov.,which is a new species,Schizolepis cf.heilongjiangensis Zheng et Zhang,and Schizolepis neimengensis Deng.The new species is a well-preserved female cone,slender and cylindrical in shape.The seed–scale complexes have long petioles and are arranged on the cone axis loosely and helically.The seed scales are divided into two lobes from the base.Each lobe is semicircular or elongate ligulate in shape,widest at the middle or the lower middle part,with an obtuse or bluntly pointed apex.The inner margin is almost straight and the outer margin is strongly arched.On the surface of the lobe,there are longitudinal and somewhat radial striations from the base to the margin.The seed is borne on the adaxial surface at the base or middle of each lobe.Schizolepis was established in 1847,and,although more than twenty species have been discovered and reported,its phylogenetic position is controversial because of the imperfection of fossils.Most authors have considered there to be a close evolutionary relationship between Schizolepis and extant Pinaceae.Here,we analyze characteristics and compare Schizolepis with Picea crassifolia Kom,which is morphologically most similar to Schizolepis.The results indicate that the genus probably has a distant evolutionary relationship with extant Pinaceae.A detailed statistical analysis of the global paleogeographic distribution of Schizolepis showed that all the fossils of this genus appeared in strata ranging from the Upper Triassic to the Lower Cretaceous in the North Hemisphere,being rare in the Upper Triassic and Lower Jurassic,but being very common from the Middle Jurassic to the Lower Cretaceous,and particularly abundant in the Lower Cretaceous.According to the statistical results,we speculate that the genus originated in Europe in the Late Triassic then spread from Europe to Asia between the Late Triassic and the Late Jurassic.In the Early Cretaceous most species existed in China's three northeastern Provinces and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and adjacent areas.Combining the paleogeographic distribution of the genus with ancient climatic factors,we deduced that Schizolepis began to decline and became extinct in the Early Cretaceous,and the reason for its extinction is closely related to the icehouse climate during the Early Cretaceous.XU Xiaohui LI Ruiyun DONG Chong WANG Qiujun JIN Peihong SUN Bainian 2013Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2013,87,5:5

14Regulation of the cellular uptake of nanopartides by the orientation of helical polypeptides显示文摘Controlling the cellular interactio n and internal izatio n of polymer-modified nan oparticles (NPs) is of central importa nee to the developme nt of promisi ng nano medici nes. Here, we describe the use of synthetic polypeptides for NP surface coati ng and regulati on of their cellular uptake behaviors by simply switching the conformation and anchoring orientation. Our results show that gold NPs (AuNPs) coated with a helical poly(Y-(2-(2-(2-methoxyethoxy)ethoxy)ethoxy)esteryl「glutamate)(L-P(EG3Glu)5o) from the C-terminus ((L-C)-AuNPs) exhibit greater zeta potential and more cellular uptake (2.0-5.5 fold higher) than those coated with the same polypeptide but anchored from the N-terminus ((L-N)-AuNPs), or from both the C- and N-terminus at a 1/1 molar ratio ((L-C/L-N)-AuNPs). A similar orientation-regulated cellular internalization pattern is observed in D-P(EG3Glu)50 but not the unstructured DL-P(EG3Glu)5o-rnodified AuNPs, suggesting an important and universal role of the helix-derived macrodipole in cellular uptake. Moreover, this orientation-governed internalization is successfully reproduced in P(EG3Glu)50-coated gold nano rods (AuNRs), and applied to the desig n of doxorubici reloaded polypeptide micelles. Simulation study offers time-resolved in sights regarding the NP-membrane in teracti ons and membrane remodeling. Thus, our study provides a delicate way of regulating the surface chemistry of NPs and the subsequent NP-cell interactions. 15Photoelectrochemical performance of a sub-micron structured film with poly(3-methylthiophene) (P3MT)-modified CdTe/ZnO shell-core sub-micron tube arrays显示文摘A sub-micron structured film with a poly(3-methylthiophene) (P3MT)-modified CdTe/ZnO shell-core sub-micron tube array has been prepared by a series of electrodeposition processes, and a semiconductor-sensitized solar cell based on this structure was also fabricated. Vertically oriented ZnO sub-micron tubes were obtained on an indium tin oxide (ITO) substrate, and then CdTe nanocrystals and a thin P3MT layer were electrodeposited sequentially onto the walls of the ZnO sub-micron tubes. A suitable thickness of CdTe and P3MT could improve the photovoltaic properties of the solar cell, which was attributed to the enhancement in the light absorption and the decrease in the recombination of photogenerated carriers. In addition, a p–n heterojunction formed between the interface of CdTe and P3MT played an important part in the efficient separation and fast transport of photogenerated carriers in the sub-micron structure. 16Research progress on properties of pre-gelatinized starch and its application in wheat flour products显示文摘Starch is the most abundant organic compound in nature,second only to cellulose.However,the conserved structure of native starches limits their properties and applications.Therefore,it is often necessary to modify them to obtain specific properties.As a common green and safe physical modification method,pre-gelatinization can improve the cold water solubility and swelling power of starch.The typical preparation methods of pre-gelatinized starch include spray drying,extrusion,and drum drying.Spray-dried pre-gelatinized starch still had good granule shape,but the increase of cold water solubility and cold paste viscosity was relatively small.Extruded and drum-dried pre-gelatinized starch showed serious structure destruction,significant increases in cold water solubility and cold paste viscosity,but relatively low hot paste viscosity.The properties of pre-gelatinized starch obtained by different methods are different,so do their effects on the quality of flour products.Wheat flour products,as one of the leading staple food for the people all over the world,play a vital role in people's daily life.With the improvement of people's living standards,more and more special flour products with unique features have received attentions of consumers and researchers.However,the sensory characteristics of special flour products are often inferior to traditional flour products,which limits its development.The unique functional characteristics of pre-gelatinized starch make it expected to play an essential role in the quality improvement of featured flour products.In this paper,the granule morphology,crystal structure,hydration and gelatinization properties of pre-gelatinized starch prepared by three common methods and their application in flour products were reviewed,which provides a theoretical basis for the application of pre-gelatinized starch in food industry.Hao Ma Mei Liu Ying Liang Xueling Zheng Le Sun Wenqian Dang Jie Li Limin Li Chong Liu 2022Grain & Oil Science and Technology2022,5,2:3
17Prognostic significance of regional lymphadenectomy in T1b gallbladder cancer:Results from 24 hospitals in China显示文摘BACKGROUND Whether regional lymphadenectomy(RL)should be routinely performed in patients with T1b gallbladder cancer(GBC)remains a subject of debate.AIM To investigate whether RL can improve the prognosis of patients with T1b GBC.METHODS We studied a multicenter cohort of patients with T1b GBC who underwent surgery between 2008 and 2016 at 24 hospitals in 13 provinces in China.The logrank test and Cox proportional hazards model were used to compare the overall survival(OS)of patients who underwent cholecystectomy(Ch)+RL and those who underwent Ch only.To investigate whether combined hepatectomy(Hep)improved OS in T1b patients,we studied patients who underwent Ch+RL to compare the OS of patients who underwent combined Hep and patients who did not.RESULTS Of the 121 patients(aged 61.9±10.1 years),77(63.6%)underwent Ch+RL,and 44(36.4%)underwent Ch only.Seven(9.1%)patients in the Ch+RL group had lymph node metastasis.The 5-year OS rate was significantly higher in the Ch+RL group than in the Ch group(76.3%vs 56.8%,P=0.036).Multivariate analysis showed that Ch+RL was significantly associated with improved OS(hazard ratio:0.51;95%confidence interval:0.26-0.99).Among the 77 patients who underwent Ch+RL,no survival improvement was found in patients who underwent combined Hep(5-year OS rate:79.5%for combined Hep and 76.1%for no Hep;P=0.50).CONCLUSION T1b GBC patients who underwent Ch+RL had a better prognosis than those who underwent Ch.Hep+Ch showed no improvement in prognosis in T1b GBC patients.Although recommended by both the National Comprehensive Cancer Network and Chinese Medical Association guidelines,RL was only performed in 63.6%of T1b GBC patients.Routine Ch+RL should be advised in T1b GBC.Tai Ren Yong-Sheng Li Xue-Yi Dang Yang Li Zi-Yu Shao Run-Fa Bao Yi-Jun Shu Xu-An Wang Wen-Guang Wu Xiang-Song Wu Mao-Lan Li Hong Cao Kun-Hua Wang Hong-Yu Cai Chong Jin Hui-Han Jin Bo Yang Xiao-Qing Jiang Jian-Feng Gu Yun-Fu Cui Zai-Yang Zhang Chun-Fu Zhu Bei Sun Chao-Liu Dai Lin-Hui Zheng Jing-Yu Cao Zhe-Wei Fei Chang-Jun Liu Bing Li Jun Liu Ye-Ben Qian Yi Wang Ya-Wei Hua Xi Zhang Chang Liu Wan-Yee Lau Ying-Bin Liu 2021World Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery2021,13,2:3
18The chromosome-scale genome of Phoebe bournei reveals contrasting fates of terpene synthase (TPS)-a and TPS-b subfamilies显示文摘Terpenoids,including aromatic volatile monoterpenoids and sesquiterpenoids,function in defense against pathogens and herbivores.Phoebe trees are remarkable for their scented wood and decay resistance.Unlike other Lauraceae species investigated to date,Phoebe species predominantly accumulate sesquiterpenoids instead of monoterpenoids.Limited genomic data restrict the elucidation of terpenoid variation and functions.Here,we present a chromosome-scale genome assembly of a Lauraceae tree,Phoebe bournei,and identify 72 full-length terpene synthase(TPS)genes.Genome-level comparison shows pervasive lineage-specific duplication and contraction of TPS subfamilies,which have contributed to the extreme terpenoid variation within Lauraceae species.Although the TPS-a and TPS-b subfamilies were both expanded via tandem duplication in P.bournei,more TPS-a copies were retained and constitutively expressed,whereas more TPS-b copies were lost.The TPS-a genes on chromosome 8 functionally diverged to synthesize eight highly accumulated sesquiterpenes in P.bournei.The essential oil of P.bournei and its main component,b-caryophyllene,exhibited antifungal activities against the three most widespread canker pathogens of trees.The TPS-a and TPS-b subfamilies have experienced contrasting fates over the evolution of P.bournei.The abundant sesquiterpenoids produced by TPS-a proteins contribute to the excellent pathogen resistance of P.bournei trees.Overall,this study sheds light on the evolution and adaptation of terpenoids in Lauraceae and provides valuable resources for boosting plant immunity against pathogens in various trees and crops.Xiao Han Junhong Zhang Shuang Han Sun Li Chong Guanliang Meng Minyan Song Yang Wang Shengcai Zhou Chengcheng Liu Luhuan Lou Xiongzhen Lou Longjun Cheng Erpei Lin Huahong Huang Qi Yang Zaikang Tong 2022Plant Communications2022,3,6:3
19Electrical properties and luminescence properties of 0.96(K0.48Na0.52)(Nb0.95Sb0.05)–0.04Bi0.5(Na0.82K0.18)0.5ZrO3–xSm lead-free ceramics显示文摘In this paper,Sm-doped 0.96(K0.48 Na0.52)(Nb0.95 Sb0.05)–0.04 Bi0.5(Na0.82 K0.18)0.5 Zr O3(abbreviated as KNSN–0.04 BNKZ)lead-free piezoelectric ceramics were prepared by conventional solid-state sintering method and the effects of Sm2 O3 on the phase structure,microstructure,electrical and luminescent properties of KNSN–0.04 BNKZ potteries were studied.Results revealed that a single solid solution phase with pseudo-cubic perovskite structure was formed between KNSN–0.04 BNKZ and Sm2 O3.Existence of weak dielectric/ferroelectric properties with a diffuse dielectric anomaly and slim P–E hysteresis loops of the Sm-doped KNSN–0.04 BNKZ demonstrated the ferroelectric relaxor behavior of the KNNS–0.04 BNKZ–x Sm ceramics.Accordingly,the temperature stability and fatigue behavior of the modified ceramics were significantly improved.It was found that the KNSN–0.04 BNKZ ceramics with 0.002 mol Sm addition exhibited nearly temperature independent properties and fatigue-free behavior.Moreover,Sm-modified KNSN–0.04 BNKZ exhibits a bright photoluminescence with a strong orange emission under visible light irradiation.As a material with both electrical and luminescent properties,it has good application prospect in future optoelectronic components by integrating its luminescent and electrical properties.Wei LI Jigong HAO Wei LI Juan DU Peng FU Wenzhi SUN Chong CHEN Zhijun XU Ruiqing CHU 2020Journal of Advanced Ceramics2020,9,1:2
20Boosting of reversible capacity delivered at a low voltage below 0.5 V in mildly expanded graphitized needle coke anode for a high-energy lithium ion battery显示文摘The rate performance and cycle stability of graphitized needle coke(GNC)as anode are still limited by the sluggish kinetics and volume expansion during the Li ions intercalation and de-intercalation process.Especially,the output of energy density for lithium ion batteries(LIBs)is directly affected by the delithiation capacity below 0.5 V.Here,the mildly expanded graphitized needle coke(MEGNC)with the enlarged interlayer spacing from 0.346 to 0.352 nm is obtained by the two-step mild oxidation intercalation modification.The voltage plateau of MEGNC anode below 0.5 V is obviously broadened as compared to the initial GNC anode,contributing to the enhancement of Li storage below the low voltage plateau.Moreover,the coin full cell and pouch full cell configured with MEGNC anode exhibit much enhanced Li storage ability,energy density and better cycling stability than those full cells configured with GNC and commercial graphite anodes,demonstrating the practical application value of MEGNC.The superior anode behaviors of MEGNC including the increased effective capacity at low voltage and superior cyclic stability are mainly benefited from the enlarged interlayer spacing,which not only accelerates the Li ions diffusion rate,but also effectively alleviates the volume expansion and fragmentation during the Li ions intercalation process.In addition,the above result is further confirmed by the density functional theory simulation.This work provides an effective modification strategy for the NC-based graphite to enhance the delithiation capacity at a low voltage plateau,dedicated to improving the energy density and durability of LIBs.Dong Sun Lu Zhao Zhihua Xiao Kai Zhao Rundan Lin Hongmei Song Xilu Zhang Xinlong Ma Chong Peng Xiaoqiao Huang Xingxun Li Jinsen Gao Chunming Xu 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,11:2
