1Hydrothermal ore deposits in collisional orogens显示文摘Hydrothermal ore deposits at convergent plate boundaries represent extraordinary metal enrichment in the continental crust. They are generally associated with felsic magmatism in extensional settings at high thermal gradients. Although their formation is common during accretionary orogeny, more and more ore deposits have been discovered recently in the collisional orogens of China. Because collisional orogeny was operated in a compressional regime at low thermal gradients, it is not favorable for mobilization of ore-forming elements and thus for the production of hydrothermal ore deposits. Nevertheless, continental collision is generally preceded by oceanic subduction, which enables the preliminary enrichment of ore-forming elements in the mantle wedge due to chemical metasomatism by subducting slab-derived fluids. This gave rise to metal pre-enriched domains in the overriding lithosphere, which may be reactivated by extensional tectonism for hydrothermal mineralization either immediately during accretionary orogeny or at a later time during and after collisional orogeny. It is these tectonic processes that have resulted in the progressive enrichment of ore-forming elements through the geochemical differentiation of the subducting oceanic crust, the metasomatic mantle domains and the mafic juvenile crust, respectively, at different depths. 4An energy efficiency clustering routing protocol for WSNs in confined area显示文摘Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are important application for safety monitoring in underground coal mines, which are difficult to monitor due to natural conditions. Based on the characteristic of limited energy for WSNs in confined underground area such as coal face and laneway, we presents an energy- efficient clustering routing protocol based on weight (ECRPW) to prolong the lifetime of networks. ECRPW takes into consideration the nodes' residual energy during the election process of cluster heads. The constraint of distance threshold is used to optimize cluster scheme. Furthermore, the protocol also sets up a routing tree based on cluster heads' weight. 6Power allocation and mode selection methods for cooperative communication in the rectangular tunnel显示文摘For the multipath fading on electromagnetic waves of wireless communication in the confined areas,the rectangular tunnel cooperative communication system was established based on the multimode channel model and the channel capacity formula derivation was obtained.On the optimal criterion of the channel capacity,the power allocation methods of both amplifying and forwarding(AF) and decoding and forwarding(DF) cooperative communication systems were proposed in the limitation of the total power to maximize the channel capacity.The mode selection methods of single input single output(SISO) and single input multiple output(SIMO) models in the rectangular tunnel,through which the higher channel capacity can be obtained,were put forward as well.The theoretical analysis and simulation comparison show that,channel capacity of the wireless communication system in the rectangular tunnel can be effectively enhanced through the cooperative technology;channel capacity of the rectangular tunnel under complicated conditions is maximized through the proposed power allocation methods,and the optimal cooperative mode of the channel capacity can be chosen according to the cooperative mode selection methods given in the paper.Zhai Wenyan Sun Yanjing Xu Zhao Li Song 2015International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2015,25,2:2
7Precoder Design and Impulsive Noise Mitigation Scheme for Industrial Wireless Communications显示文摘In industrial wireless scenarios,the impulsive noise(IN)incurred by machine running or operation causes a serious influence on the powerlimited industrial wireless communications.It is challenging to ensure efficient and reliable transmission with quality of service(QoS)guarantee for machinetype communication devices(MTCDs).Considering the IN in the industrial process,this paper establishes the multiuser multiple-input single-output(MU-MISO)orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM)system model,which combines transmitter and receiver design.Two precoding schemes are designed to improve communication effectiveness at the transmitter.More specifically,the precoder design scheme which combines semi-definite relaxation(SDR)with difference-of-two-convex-function(D.C.)iterative algorithm,is developed by utilizing the Dinkelbach method to improve the system effectiveness.To decrease the computational complexity,we devise the quadratic-based fractional programming(QFP)algorithm,which decouples the variables by using a quadratic transform method.On this basis,the IN mitigation scheme is studied to reduce the system error rate(SER)at the receiver.With the goal of improving the reliability of industrial wireless communications,we propose a hybrid nonlinear IN mitigation(HNINM)scheme and then derive its closed-form expression of SER.The simulation results show that the proposed QFP algorithm achieves superior performance while the HNINM scheme decreases the SER of industrial wireless communications.Yanjing Sun Xinyan Li Jiasi Zhou Ruirui Chen BowenWang Yanfen Wang 2021China Communications2021,18,4:1

11A spike-trimer protein-based tetravalent COVID-19 vaccine elicits enhanced breadth of neutralization against SARS-CoV-2 Omicron subvariants and other variants显示文摘Multivalent vaccines combining crucial mutations from phylogenetically divergent variants could be an effective approach to defend against existing and future SARS-Co V-2 variants.In this study,we developed a tetravalent COVID-19 vaccine SCTV01E,based on the trimeric Spike protein of SARS-Co V-2 variants Alpha,Beta,Delta,and Omicron BA.1,with a squalenebased oil-in-water adjuvant SCT-VA02B.In the immunogenicity studies in na?ve BALB/c and C57BL/6J mice,SCTV01E exhibited the most favorable immunogenic characteristics to induce balanced and broad-spectrum neutralizing potencies against pre-Omicron variants(D614G,Alpha,Beta,and Delta)and newly emerging Omicron subvariants(BA.1,BA.1.1,BA.2,BA.3,and BA.4/5).Booster studies in C57BL/6J mice previously immunized with D614G monovalent vaccine demonstrated superior neutralizing capacities of SCTV01E against Omicron subvariants,compared with the D614G booster regimen.Furthermore,SCTV01E vaccination elicited na?ve and central memory T cell responses to SARS-Co V-2 ancestral strain and Omicron spike peptides.Together,our comprehensive immunogenicity evaluation results indicate that SCTV01E could become an important COVID-19 vaccine platform to combat surging infections caused by the highly immune evasive BA.4/5 variants.SCTV01E is currently being studied in a head-to-head immunogenicity comparison phase 3 clinical study with inactivated and m RNA vaccines(NCT05323461).Rui Wang Hongpeng Huang Chulin Yu Chunyun Sun Juan Ma Desheng Kong Yalong Lin Dandan Zhao Shaozheng Zhou Jianbo Lu Sai Cao Yanjing Zhang Chunxia Luo Xuefeng Li Yang Wang Liangzhi Xie 2023Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,8:1
12Investigation on Synthesis of Sintered Mullite from Low-medium Grade Kyanite显示文摘Sintered mullite is prepared by kyanite powder with Al_2O_3 content of 45% and 50%(Yinshan, Nanyang City, China),and the industrial alumina is added to control the chemical composition. The different series of sintered mullite according to the Al_2O_3 content(45%-70%) are designed. The raw materials are mixed and compacted, and then sintered at different temperatures. Physical properties, phase composition, microstructure and refractoriness under load of the synthesized samples are characterized by physical property test, XRD, SEM and RUL test, in order to confirm the quality of sintering and the relationship between temperature and mullitization reaction. 14An antibody cocktail with broadened mutational resistance and effective protection against SARS-CoV-2显示文摘Neutralizing antibodies have been proven to be highly effective in treating mild and moderate COVID-19 patients,but continuous emergence of SARS-CoV-2 variants poses significant challenges.Antibody cocktail treatments reduce the risk of escape mutants and resistance.In this study,a new cocktail composed of two highly potent neutralizing antibodies(HB27 and H89Y)was developed,whose binding epitope is different from those cocktails that received emergency use authorization.This cocktail showed more potent and balanced neutralizing activities(IC_(50)0.9–11.3 ng mL^(-1))against a broad spectrum of SARS-CoV-2 variants over individual HB27 or H89Y antibodies.Furthermore,the cocktail conferred more effective protection against the SARS-CoV-2 Beta variant in an aged murine model than monotherapy.It was shown to prevent SARS-CoV-2 mutational escape in vitro and effectively neutralize 61 types of pseudoviruses harbouring single amino acid mutation originated from variants and escape strains of Bamlanivimab,Casirivimab and Imdevimab with IC_(50)of 0.6–65 ng mL^(-1).Despite its breadth of variant neutralization,the HB27+H89Y combo and EUA cocktails lost their potencies against Omicron variant.Our results provide important insights that new antibody cocktails covering different epitopes are valuable tools to counter virus mutation and escape,highlighting the need to search for more conserved epitopes to combat Omicron.Chunyun Sun Hang Chi Fei Yuan Jing Li Ji Yang Aihua Zheng Fei Wang Lingling Sun Yanjing Zhang Ping Hu Lihua Jiao Yongqiang Deng Liangzhi Xie 2023Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,1:0
15Effects of proton pump inhibitor on gastroesophageal varices in patients with cirrhosis:A randomized controlled trial from China显示文摘Aims:Proton pump inhibitors(PPI)are widely used for gastroesophageal varices in patients with cirrhosis after endoscopic therapy,although the effect of PPI on these patients remains controversial.This study aimed to evaluate the effect of PPI on gastroesophageal varices in patients with cirrhosis after endoscopic therapy,including variceal bleeding and adverse events.Methods:Cirrhotic patients with endoscopically confirmed gastroesophageal varices were enrolled in this study between May 2017 and June 2019.Eligible patients were randomized into two groups:one group received PPI for 14 days and the other group did not receive PPI treatment(n=53 in each group).All patients were followed for 8 weeks.Results:During the follow‐up period,three patients(5.66%)in the PPI group experienced variceal bleeding on days 9,16,and 25 after endoscopic therapy,including two patients with acute bleeding and one with primary prophylaxis.In the non‐PPI group,three patients(5.66%)experienced variceal bleeding on days 7,42,and 56 after endoscopic therapy,including one patient with acute bleeding and two with secondary prophylaxis(p=0.990).The incidence of adverse events was similar between the two groups(37.74%vs.28.30%,p=0.30).Conclusions:PPI did not appear to reduce variceal bleeding and adverse events in patients with cirrhosis after endoscopic therapy.Xiaoning Chen Tao Zhou Ting Zhou Yueyue Li Xin Sun Baoquan Cheng Ning Zhong Xuefeng Lu Yanjing Gao 2023Portal Hypertension & Cirrhosis2023,2,1:0
16Predicting of Covalent Organic Frameworks for Membrane-based Isobutene/1,3-Butadiene Separation:Combining Molecular Simulation and Machine Learning显示文摘Efficient separation of C4 olefins is of critical importance and a challenging task in petrochemical industry. Covalent organic frameworks(COFs) could be used as promising candidates for membrane-based isobutene/1,3-butadiene(i-C4H8/C4H6) separation. Owing to large amounts of COFs appearing, however, the rapid prediction of optimal COFs is imperative before experimental efforts. In this work, we combine molecular simulation and machine learning to study COF membranes for efficient isolation of i-C4H8 over C4H6. Using molecular simulation, four potential COF membranes, which possess both high membrane performance score (MPS) value and moderate membrane selectivity were screened out and the mechanism of membrane separation further revealed is an adsorption dominated process. Further, random forest(RF) model with high prediction accuracy(R2>0.84) was obtained and used for elucidating key factors in controlling the membrane selectivity and i-C4H8 permeability. Ultimately, the optimal COF features were obtained through structure-performance relationship study. 17Energy-Efficient Data Collection over Underwater MI-Assisted Acoustic Cooperative MIMO WSNs显示文摘Underwater magnetic induction(MI)-assisted acoustic cooperative multiple-input-multipleoutput(MIMO) has been recently proposed as a promising technique for underwater wireless sensor networks(UWSNs).For the more,the energy utilization of energy-constrained sensor nodes is one of the key issues in UWSNs,and it relates to the network lifetime.In this paper,we present an energy-efficient data collection for underwater MI-assisted acoustic cooperative MIMO wireless sensor networks(WSNs),including the formation of cooperative MIMO and relay link establishment.Firstly,the cooperative MIMO is formed by considering its expected transmission range and the energy balance of nodes with it.Particularly,from the perspective of the node’s energy consumption,the expected cooperative MIMO size and the selection of master node(MN) are proposed.Sequentially,to improve the coverage of the networks and prolong the network lifetime,relay links are established by relay selection algorithm that using matching theory.Finally,the simulation results show that the proposed data collection improves its efficiency,reduces the energy consumption of the master node,improves the networks’ coverage,and extends the network lifetime.Qingyan Ren Yanjing Sun Song Li Bin Wang Zhengda Yu 2023China Communications2023,20,11:0

20The extraction of aromatics using N-methylpyrrolidone: Liquid-liquidequilibrium determination and mechanism exploration显示文摘LLE data of cyclooctane/3-methylpentane + benzene/toluene + N-methylpyrrolidone (NMP) at 298.15 Kand 313.15 K under a pressure of 101.3 kPa were measured in this work. The Othmer-Tobias and Handequations were adopted to validate the reliability of LLE data, where the correlation coefficients (R2) wereclose to unity, indicating the high reliability of the experimental data. The experimental data were analyzed using the distribution coefficient (D) and separation factor (S), and the effect of NMP extracting benzene and toluene from aromatics was explored. Meanwhile, the reason for the different extractionefficiencies of benzene and toluene using NMP was analyzed by quantum chemical calculations. TheNRTL and UNIQUAC thermodynamic models were used to correlate the liquid–liquid equilibrium data,and the relevant binary interaction parameters were obtained.
