1MII:A Novel Text Classification Model Combining Deep Active Learning with BERT显示文摘Active learning has been widely utilized to reduce the labeling cost of supervised learning.By selecting specific instances to train the model,the performance of the model was improved within limited steps.However,rare work paid attention to the effectiveness of active learning on it.In this paper,we proposed a deep active learning model with bidirectional encoder representations from transformers(BERT)for text classification.BERT takes advantage of the self-attention mechanism to integrate contextual information,which is beneficial to accelerate the convergence of training.As for the process of active learning,we design an instance selection strategy based on posterior probabilities Margin,Intra-correlation and Inter-correlation(MII).Selected instances are characterized by small margin,low intra-cohesion and high inter-cohesion.We conduct extensive experiments and analytics with our methods.The effect of learner is compared while the effect of sampling strategy and text classification is assessed from three real datasets.The results show that our method outperforms the baselines in terms of accuracy.Anman Zhang Bohan Li Wenhuan Wang Shuo Wan Weitong Chen 2020Computers, Materials & Continua2020,,6:4
2Low temperature catalytic oxidation of NO over different-shaped CeO2显示文摘To investigate the effect of CeO_2 nanomaterial morphology on its performance for NO catalytic oxidation.Three kinds of CeO_2 nanomaterials including CeO_2 nanorods,nanospheres and nanoparticles were prepared by hydrothermal method and used for catalytic oxidation of NO at low temperature. The experimental results show that CeO_2 nanorods are of the best catalytic performance. Characterization techniques including TEM, XRD, H_2-TPR, NO-TPD and XPS were used to determine the relationship between the morphology of CeO_2 nanomaterial and its catalytic performance. TEM images show that CeO_2 nanorods predominantly exposed(110) and(10 0) planes, while CeO_2 nanospheres and CeO_2 nanoparticles predominantly exposed(111) plane. 3Moderate papain addition improves the physicochemical,microbiological,flavor and sensorial properties of Chouguiyu,traditional Chinese fermented fish显示文摘The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of papain on the physicochemical and microbiological properties,volatile compound profiles,and sensorial attributes of Chouguiyu.Papain was applied at a dose of 10,50,200,400 U/g fish.Results showed that papain addition improved the release of free amino acids,essential amino acids,eicosapentaenoi acid(EPA,C20:5n3),and docosapentenoic acid(DPA,C22:5n6),respectively.Lower biogenic amines content,higher the volatile compound concentrations and relative abundance of Lactobacillales were also observed.Further results showed that the papain dose group decreased the fermentation time from 10 to 7 days while good organoleptic quality was remained,especially in the 200 U/g dose group.The redundancy analysis(RDA)showed a high correlation between Lactobacillus and the key volatile compounds in the 200 U/g and 400 U/g groups,which indicated that Lactobacillus could contribute to the fatty flavor.In summary,proper papain addition(i.e.200 U/g or 400 U/g)could reduce biogenic amines contents and maintain acceptable sensorial properties of Chouguiyu in a shorter fermentation time.Wenhuan Xu Cuicui Jiang Aoxue Liu Ruiqi Bao Wenqing Wang Zuoli Zhang Chaofan Ji Huipeng Liang Sufang Zhang Xinping Lin 2022Food Bioscience2022,46,2:2
4The oral microbiome of pregnant women facilitates gestational diabetes discrimination显示文摘The oral microbiota plays an important role in the development of various diseases,whereas its association with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) remains largely unclear.The aim of this study is to identify biomarkers from the oral microbiota of GDM patients by analyzing the microbiome of the saliva and dental plaque samples of 111 pregnant women.We find that the microbiota of both types of oral samples in GDM patients exhibits differences and significantly varies from that of patients with periodontitis or dental caries.Using bacterial biomarkers from the oral microbiota,GDM classification models based on support vector machine and random forest algorithms are constructed.The area under curve (AUC) value of the classification model constructed by combination of Lautropia and Neisseria in dental plaque and Streptococcus in saliva reaches 0.83,and the value achieves a maximum value of 0.89 by adding clinical features.These findings suggest that certain bacteria in either saliva or dental plaque can effectively distinguish women with GDM from healthy pregnant women,which provides evidence of oral microbiome as an informative source for developing noninvasive biomarkers of GDM.Xiaoqing Li Jiayong Zheng Xiuling Ma Bing Zhang Jinyang Zhang Wenhuan Wang Congcong Sun Yeping Wang Jianqiong Zheng Haiying Chen Jiejing Tao Hai Wang Fengyi Zhang Jinfeng Wang Hongping Zhang 2021Journal of Genetics and Genomics2021,48,1:2

6Effects of aflatoxins on growth performance and skeletal muscle of Cherry Valley meat male ducks显示文摘This study aims to evaluate the effects of aflatoxins on growth performance and skeletal muscle of Cherry Valley meat male ducks as they grow and develop. One-day-old healthy meat male ducks(n = 180) were randomly divided into 2 groups; there were 6 replicates in each group and 15 ducks in each replicate. The control group was fed a basic diet, and the experimental group was fed a mold-exposed cottonseed meal diet containing aflatoxins instead of normal cottonseed meal. The experimental period was 35 days, and divided into two stages of 1 to 14 days(early stage) and 15 to 35 days(late stage). During the experimental period, live weight, breast muscle weight and thigh muscle weight of meat male ducks were measured weekly. Results showed as follows: 1) aflatoxins contained in the mold-exposed diet significantly reduced daily weight gain and feed intake, and increased feed-to-gain ratio of meat male ducks at different ages(P < 0.05); 2) the Gompertz equation(W_t = W_m exp {-exp [-B(t-t~*)]}) could successfully fit the growth curve and growth and developmental patterns of skeletal muscles of Cherry Valley meat male ducks(R^2≥0.97); 3) the relationship between chest muscle and live weight was the best described by a power regression and polynomial regression(R^2 = 0.99); the relationship between live weight and thigh muscle weight was the best described by linear regression, polynomial regression, and power regression(R^2 = 0.99); 4) aflatoxins in the mold-exposed diet significantly reduced live weight, breast muscle weight and thigh muscle weight of Cherry Valley meat male ducks at various ages; and 5) aflatoxins delayed the age at peak in growth of meat male ducks, and reduced weights at the peak for breast muscle, thigh muscle and whole body as well as the maximal daily weight gain. 11Machine Learning-Based Evaluation of Susceptibility to Geological Hazards in the Hengduan Mountains Region, China显示文摘The Hengduan Mountains Region(HMR) is one of the areas that experience the most frequent geological hazards in China. However, few reports are available that address the geological hazard susceptibility of the region.This study developed six machine learning models to assess the geological hazard susceptibility. The results show that areas with medium and high susceptibility to geological hazards as a whole account for almost 21% of the total area, while both are 18% when it comes to the single hazard of landslide and rockfall respectively. Medium and high geological hazard susceptibility is found in three parts of the HMR with different characteristics:(1)the central and southern parts, where the population of the region concentrates;(2) the northern part, where higher geological hazard susceptibility is found along the mountain ranges;and(3) the junction of Tibet, Yunnan, and Sichuan in the eastern part, which is prone to larger-scale geological hazards. Of all the potential influencing factors,topographic features and climatic variables act as the major driving factors behind geological hazards and elevation,slope, and precipitation are crucial indicators for geological hazard susceptibility assessment. 14A simulation method on target strength and circular SAS imaging of Xrudder UUV including multiple acoustic scattering显示文摘Target strength(TS)and circular synthetic aperture sonar(CSAS)images provide essential information for active acoustic detection and recognition of non-cooperative unmanned undersea vehicles(UUVs),which pose a significant threat to underwater preset facilities.To access them,we propose an iterative physical acoustics(IPA)-based method to simulate the multiple acoustic scattered fields on rigid surfaces in high-frequency cases.It uses the Helmholtz integral equation with an appropriate Green's function in terms of the Neumann series,and then incorporates the ideas of triangulation and iteration into a numerical implementation.Then two approximate analytic formulae with precise physical meanings are derived to predict the TS and CSAS images of concave targets,respectively.There are no restrictions on the surface's curvature and the order of multiple scattering.The method is validated against the finite element method(FEM)for acoustic scattering from a sphere segment and against an experiment involving an X-rudder UUV's stern.On this basis,we simulate and analyze the TS and CSAS images of an X-rudder UUV.In addition,the influence of the angle of adjacent rudders on the multiple scattering characteristics is discussed.Results show that this method can potentially predict accurate UUV features,especially the multiple scattered features.Wenhuan Wang Bin Wang Jun Fan Fulin Zhou Kaiqi Zhao Zhou Jiang 2023Defence Technology(防务技术)2023,23,5:0

16Impact of air pressure variations on electrical vehicle motor insulation显示文摘Variation in air pressure severely affects the insulation of electric vehicle(EV)motors,hence weakening the reliability of EVs for safe operation.Nomex‐polyimide‐Nomex,a typical insulation material for EV motors,was used to investigate the motor insulation performance under different air pressures.The results show that the partial discharge inception voltage is significantly reduced for EV motors operated at lower air pressures,and the probability of partial discharge(PD)occurrence is increased.The macroscopic results reveal that the active area of the PD expands at low pressure,while the non‐corroded ring appears in the centre.Additionally,although the number and amplitude of the PD increase significantly with decrease in air pressure,the active area of the PD expands and electrical stress on the insulation per unit area increases slowly.Therefore,when the pressure decreased from 60 to 40 kPa,the endurance life does not show a significant downward trend.Furthermore,the dielectric constant and loss of the low‐pressure samples significantly change during the ageing process,which further indicates critical degradation of the insulation.The aforementioned investigations reveal that the air pressure at different altitudes has a significant impact on the performance of insulation materials.Peng Wang Chaofan Yu Shakeel Akram Ziyuan Fan Wenhuan Zhao 2023High Voltage2023,8,5:0
17Crucial role of iron plaque on thallium uptake by rice plant显示文摘Iron plaque is a Fe-containing oxide film produced by the oxidation of Fe(II)in the rice root system under the combined action of oxygen infiltration and other microorganisms.Owing to its special surface structure and physio-chemical properties,the iron plaque has a strong absorption capacity for a variety of heavy metal ions.This study aimed to first investigate the effects of Fe species on the geochemical fractionation of Tl in typical paddy soil systems affected by industrial activities,followed by pot culture experiments to probe the effects of Fe species on the uptake and translocation of Tl in rice plants.The results of field work preliminarily showed that iron at different valences affected the conversion of the Tl geochemical fraction in the soil.Oxidizable Tl exerted significant positive correlation relationships with Fe2+and negative correlation relationships with Fe3+,while reducible Tl only displayed a positive correlation with Fe3+.Further analysis by pot culture experiments revealed that the contents of Fe were significantly positively correlated with Tl contents in Fe plaque(R2=0.529).In contrast,the water-soluble Tl contents in the soil were significantly negatively correlated with the contents of Fe(R2=–0.90,p<0.05).It suggests that the iron plaque promoted the absorption and fixation of Tl on the root surface of rice plants,causing Tl to accumulate in the iron plaque.Besides,the Tl content in the Fe plaque on the root surface of rice plants was greater than that in the above-ground tissues,which indicates that most Fe plaque exerts a certain degree of inhibition on Tl migration into the above-ground tissues of rice plants.All these findings indicate that Fe film is also an important carrier of Tl transfer in the soil–rice plant system,which provides new scientific support for the remediation of typical Tl-contaminated rice fields.Xiaoyin Zhang Wenhuan Yuan Juan Liu Haoran Li Han Cai Haiyao Hu Dongyi Ren Yuhua Zhang Yuxiang Shen Jin Wang 2023Waste Disposal and Sustainable Energy2023,5,1:0

20Inherently radiopaque polyurethane beads as potential multifunctional embolic agent in hepatocellular carcinoma therapy显示文摘The aim of the current study is to report an inherently radiopaque drug-eluted beads(DEBs)as promising embolic materials for TACE techniques.Firstly,the synthesized radiopaque iodinated polycaprolactonepolyurethanes(I-PCLUs)are synthesized by chain-extending method by using 4,4-′isopropylidinedi-(2,6-diiodophenol)(IBPA)as the radiopacifying agent.Then,doxorubicin(Dox)is introduced as a chemotherapeutic agent into I-PCLU beads via a double emulsification(W/O/W)method.The drug loading and controlled release behavior of two ratios of I-PCLU/Dox are found to be dependent upon the internal porous microstructure,and the radiopacity is well-retained after four weeks drug release.Besides,the I-PCLU/Dox beads exhibit positive in vitro anti-tumor effect.The in vivo intramuscular implantation and liver embolization results demonstrate that I-PCLU beads have good histocompatibility,occlusion effect and X-ray traceability.Furthermore,the drug-loaded I-PCLU beads are performed into a VX2 rabbit hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)model using a micro-catheter,form embolization of hepatic arteries and inhibit the tumor growth after one week post-injection.Hence,this polymeric system provides a potential radiopaque chemoembolization candidate for HCC and other cancer therapies,which could bring opportunities to the next generation of multifunctional embolic agents.Wenhuan Wang Lin Sang Yiping Zhao Zhiyong Wei Min Qi Yang Li 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,4:0
