1Active phase compensation of quantum key distribution system显示文摘Quantum key distribution (QKD) system must be robust enough in practical communication. Besides birefringence of fiber, system performance is notably affected by phase drift. The Faraday-Michelson QKD system can auto-compensate the birefringence of fiber, but phase shift is still a serious problem in its practical operation. In this paper, the major reason of phase drift and its effect on Faraday- Michel- son QKD system is analyzed and an effective active phase compensation scheme is proposed. By this means, we demonstrate a quantum key distribution system which can stably run over 37-km fiber in practical working condition with the long-time averaged quantum bit error rate of 1.59% and the stan- dard derivation of 0.46%. 2Insight-HXMT observations of the first binary neutron star merger GW170817显示文摘Finding the electromagnetic(EM) counterpart of binary compact star merger, especially the binary neutron star(BNS) merger,is critically important for gravitational wave(GW) astronomy, cosmology and fundamental physics. On Aug. 17, 2017,Advanced LIGO and Fermi/GBM independently triggered the first BNS merger, GW170817, and its high energy EM counterpart,GRB 170817 A, respectively, resulting in a global observation campaign covering gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, optical, IR, radio as well as neutrinos. The High Energy X-ray telescope(HE) onboard Insight-HXMT(Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope) is the unique high-energy gamma-ray telescope that monitored the entire GW localization area and especially the optical counterpart(SSS17 a/AT2017 gfo) with very large collection area(~1000 cm^2) and microsecond time resolution in 0.2-5 MeV. In addition,Insight-HXMT quickly implemented a Target of Opportunity(ToO) observation to scan the GW localization area for potential X-ray emission from the GW source. Although Insight-HXMT did not detect any significant high energy(0.2-5 MeV) radiation from GW170817, its observation helped to confirm the unexpected weak and soft nature of GRB 170817 A. Meanwhile,Insight-HXMT/HE provides one of the most stringent constraints(~10^(-7) to 10^(-6) erg/cm^2/s) for both GRB170817 A and any other possible precursor or extended emissions in 0.2-5 MeV, which help us to better understand the properties of EM radiation from this BNS merger. 3The Low Energy X-ray telescope (LE) onboard the Insight-HXMT astronomy satellite显示文摘The Low Energy X-ray telescope(LE) is one of the three main instruments of the Insight-Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope(Insight-HXMT). It is equipped with Swept Charge Device(SCD) sensor arrays with a total geometrical area of 384 cm^2 and an energy band from 0.7 to 13 ke V. In order to evaluate the particle induced X-ray background and the cosmic X-ray background simultaneously, LE adopts collimators to define four types of Field Of Views(FOVs), i.e., 1.6°×6°, 4°×6°, 50°-60°×2°-6 oand the blocked ones which block the X-ray by an aluminum cover. LE is constituted of three detector boxes(LEDs) and an electric control box(LEB) and achieves a good energy resolution of 140 e V@5.9 ke V, an excellent time resolution of 0.98 ms, as well as an extremely low pileup(<1%@18000 cts/s). 4Flame-retardant concentrated electrolyte enabling a Li F-rich solid electrolyte interface to improve cycle performance of wide-temperature lithium–sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium–sulfur batteries have been regarded as the most promising high-energy electrochemical energy storage device owing to the high energy density, low cost and environmental friendliness. However, traditional lithium–sulfur batteries using ether-based electrolytes often suffer from severe safety risks(i.e. combustion). Herein, we demonstrated a novel kind of flame-retardant concentrated electrolyte(6.5 M lithium bis(trifluoromethylsulphonyl)imide/fluoroethylene carbonate) for highly-safe and widetemperature lithium–sulfur batteries. It was found that such concentrated electrolyte showed superior flame retardancy, high lithium-ion transference number(0.69) and steady lithium plating/stripping behavior(2.5 m Ah cm^(-2) over 3000 h). Moreover, lithium–sulfur batteries using this flame-retardant concentrated electrolyte delivered outstanding cycle performance in a wide range of temperatures(-10 °C, 25 °C and 90 °C). This superior battery performance is mainly attributed to the LiF-rich solid electrolyte interphase formed on lithium metal anode, which can effectively suppress the continuous growth of lithium dendrites. 7Flame-retardant quasi-solid polymer electrolyte enabling sodium metal batteries with highly safe characteristic and superior cycling stability显示文摘Con ventio nal liquid electrolytes based sodium metal batteries suffer from severe safety hazards owing to electrolyte leakage,in flammability and dendritic sodium deposit!on.Herein,we report a flame-retardant quasi-solid polymer electrolyte with poly(methyl vinyl ether-alt-maleic an hydride)(P(MVE-alt-MA))as host,bacterial cellulose(BC)as reinforceme nt,and triethyl phosphate/vinyle ne carb on ate/sodium perchlorate(TEP/VC/NaClO4)as plasticizer for highly safe sodium metal batteries.The as-obtained quasi-solid polymer electrolyte exhibits superior flame retardancy(self-extinguish within 1 s),complete non-leakage property and wide electrochemical windows(4.4 V).More importantly,Na3V2(PO4)3/Na metal batteries using such polymer electrolyte delivers superior I on g-term cycli ng stability(84.4%capacity rete ntion after 1000 cycles)which is significantly better than that(only 2%after 240 cycles)of liquid electrolyte.In addition,this flame-retardant quasi-solid polymer electrolyte provides favorable cycle performance(80.2%capacity retention after 70 cycles at 50°C and 84.8%capacity retention after 50 cycles at-10°C)for Na3V2(PO4)3/Na metal batteries.And this battery also displayed a normal charge/discharge property even at-15°C.These fascinating cycle properties are mainly ascribed to the effective pro怕ctive layers formed on Na3V2(PC>4)3 cathode and sodium metal ano de.More thorough in vestigati on elucidates that such flame-retardant quasi-solid polymer electrolyte plays a multif unctional role in the adva need sodium metal batteries:(1)being in volved in the formatio n of a favorable cathode electrolyte in terface(CEI)to inhibit the dissolutio n of van adium and maintai n the structure integrity of the Na3V2(PO4)3;(2)participati ng in building a stable solid electrolyte in terface(SEI)to suppress the growth of Na dendrites;(3)integrating flame-retardanee into polymer sodium batteries to enhance flame-resistanee,eliminate electrolyte leakage,and thus improve safety of sodium batteries.Based on these results,we further assembled Na3V2(PO4)3/MoS2 pouch cell which can withsta nd harsh conditions(be nded or cut off a corn er),confirming the obtai ned polymer electrolyte with superior non-leakage property.In all,these outstanding characteristics would endow this flame-retardant quasi-solid polymer electrolyte a very promising can didate for highly-safe sodium metal batteries.Jinfeng Yang Min Zhang Zheng Chen Xiaofan Du Suqi Huang Ben Tang Tiantian Dong Han Wu Zhe Yu Jianjun Zhang Guanglei Cui 2019Nano Research2019,12,9:4
8Overview to the Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope (Insight-HXMT) Satellite显示文摘As China’s first X-ray astronomical satellite, the Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope (HXMT), which was dubbed as Insight-HXMT after the launch on June 15, 2017, is a wide-band(1-250 ke V) slat-collimator-based X-ray astronomy satellite with the capability of all-sky monitoring in 0.2-3 Me V. 14Triterpene-Enriched Olive Extract as an Immunopotentiator in Black Sea Bream(Acanthopagrus schlegelii)显示文摘Recently,the use of natural immunopotentiators,such as plant extracts,is predicted to offer high disease-prevention potential in aquaculture.However,few reports on the immunomodulatory impacts of olive extract(OE)on teleost are available.Therefore,the effects of dietary intake of triterpene-enriched OE on black sea bream(Acanthopagrus schlegelii)were investigated in this study.Our data showed that total blood cell counts,in vivo content of lysozyme,activities of antiprotease and myeloperoxidase,and contents of IL-4 and IL-6 were significantly up-regulated by dietary intake of triterpene-enriched OE.Additionally,the hampered immune response induced by cadmium exposure was significantly mitigated by the administration of OE as were indicated by partially or completely rescued immune-relating parameters.Furthermore,the expressions of immune-related genes encoding NF-κB inhibitor alpha(IkBα),tumor necrosis factorα(TNFα),cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2),and proto-oncogene protein c-fos(FOS)were found to be significantly up-regulated by the dietary intake of OE.In general,the results suggested that the dietary intake of triterpene-enriched OE has immune enhancing effect in black sea bream.Such effect may be realized by 1)increasing the total counts of diverse blood cells;2)activating nonspecific immune biomolecules;and 3)affecting signaling pathways such as IKK and ERK and subsequently inducing IL-4 and IL-6 biosyntheses.RONG Jiahuan HAN Yu ZHA Shanjie TANG Yu SHI Wei GUAN Xiaofan DU Xueying HE Maolong LIU Guangxu 2020Journal of Ocean University of China2020,19,2:1

16Comparative risk of acute kidney injury among cancer patients treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors显示文摘With the development and introduction of immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs)in cancer patients,immune-related side effects have increasingly attracted attention.However,the risks of immune-related renal toxicity are poorly characterized.In this study,we performed a network meta-analysis(NMA)of ICI-related randomized clinical trials(RCTs)to elucidate the comparative risk of acute kidney injury(AKI)in cancer patients receiving different ICIs.We also sought to identify other factors potentially affecting the risk of AKI.PubMed and EMBASE were searched for peer-reviewed trial reports published between January 2000 and May 2021.Eligible studies were RCTs studying ICIs in cancer patients and reporting AKI data.We performed a frequentist NMA to evaluate the risk ratios for grade 1-5 and grade 3-5 AKI between the treatment groups.We also assessed the absolute incidence of AKI in the ICI-containing arm using traditional direct meta-analysis.Once significant heterogeneity was detected in a traditional direct meta-analysis,multivariable meta-regression analysis was applied to identify factors that significantly affected the absolute incidence of AKI.A total of 85 RCTs were included in this study.In the NMA for the risk of grade 1-5 and 3-5 AKI,ipilimumab showed a significantly higher risk than avelumab and durvalumab,whereas 1 mg/kg nivolumab plus 3 mg/kg ipilimumab(N1I3)showed a significantly higher risk than other groups.In terms of treatment ranking,durvalumab±low-dose tremelimumab and avelumab were consistently among the top three safest treatments for grade 1-5 or 3-5 AKI,whereas N1I3,ipilimumab and tremelimumab were consistently among the top three treatments with the highest risk for grade 1-5 or 3-5 AKI.Compared with other cancers,renal cell carcinoma and urothelial carcinoma showed a significantly higher risk of AKI.The incidence of AKI was significantly higher with ICI+chemotherapy than with ICI monotherapy.In this NMA involving largescale up-to-date ICI trials,we demonstrated the comparative safety of existing ICI drugs for grade 1-5 and grade 3-5 AKI.Based on data from the ICI arms of these trials,we also revealed several potential risk factors for immune-related AKI,including tumor type and treatment paradigm.Fei Liu ZixianWang Xiaofan Li Zhen Zhang Yue Yang Junquan Chen Dinghua Chen Lingling Wu Xiangyu Liu Sujun Han Fangming Wang Wasilijiang Wahafu Yibo Gao Shancheng Ren Nianzeng Xing Guangyan Cai Xiangmei Chen 2023Cancer Communications2023,43,2:1

19In-orbit performance of LE onboard Insight-HXMT in the first 5 years显示文摘Purpose The low-energy X-ray telescope(LE)is a main instrument of the Insight-HXMT mission and consists of 96 swept charge devices covering the 1–10 keV energy band.The energy gain and resolution are continuously calibrated by analyzing Cassiopeia A(Cas A)and blank sky data,while the effective areas are also calibrated with the observations of the Crab Nebula.In this paper,we present the evolution of the in-orbit performances of LE in the first 5 years since launch.Methods The Insight-HXMT data analysis software package(HXMTDAS)is utilized to extract the spectra of Cas A,blank sky,and Crab Nebula using different good time interval selections.We fit a model with a power-law continuum and several Gaussian lines to different ranges of Cas A and blank sky spectra to get peak energies of their lines through xspec.After updating the energy gain calibration in CALibration DataBase(CALDB),we rerun the Cas A data to obtain the energy resolution.An empirical function is used to modify the simulated effective areas so that the background-subtracted spectrum of the Crab Nebula can best match the standard model of the Crab Nebula.Results The energy gain,resolution,and effective areas are calibrated every month.The corresponding calibration results are duly updated in CALDB,which can be downloaded and used for the analysis of Insight-HXMT data.Simultaneous observations with NuSTAR and NICER can also be used to verify our derived results.Conclusion LE is a well-calibrated X-ray telescope working in 1–10 keV band.The uncertainty of LE gain is less than 20eV in 2–9 keV band,and the uncertainty of LE resolution is less than 15eV.The systematic errors of LE,compared to the model of the Crab Nebula,are lower than 1.5%in 1–10 keV.Xiaobo Li Yong Chen Liming Song Weiwei Cui Wei Li Juan Wang Shuang-Nan Zhang Fangjun Lu Yupeng Xu Haisheng Zhao Mingyu Ge Youli Tuo Yusa Wang Tianxiang Chen Dawei Han Jia Huo Yanji Yang Maoshun Li Ziliang Zhang Yuxuan Zhu Xiaofan Zhao 2023Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2023,7,1:0
20Interatomic electron transfer promotes electroreduction CO_(2)-to-CO efficiency over a CuZn diatomic site显示文摘Diatomic site catalysts(DACs)with two adjacent atomic metal species can provide synergistic interactions and more sophisticated functionalities to break the bottleneck of intrinsic drawbacks of single atom catalysts(SACs).Herein,we have designed a CuZn diatomic site(CuZn-DAS)electrocatalyst with unique coordination structure(CuN_(4)-ZnN_(4))by anchoring and ordering the spatial distance between the metal precursors on the carbon nitride(C_(3)N_(4))derived N-doped carbon(NC)substrate.The CuZn-DAS/NC shows high activity and selectivity for electroreduction CO_(2)into CO.The Faradaic efficiency for CO of CuZn-DAS/NC(98.4%)is higher than that of Cu single atomic site on NC(Cu-SAS/NC)(36.4%)and Zn single atomic site on NC(Zn-SAS/NC)(66.8%)at-0.6 V versus reversible hydrogen electrode(vs.RHE).In situ characterizations reveal that the CuZn-DAS is more favorable for the formation and adsorption of^(*)COOH than those of the electrocatalysts with single atomic site.Theorical calculations show that the charge redistribution of Zn site in CuZn-DAS/NC caused by the considerable electron transfers from Zn atoms to the adjacent Cu atoms can reduce the adsorption energy barriers for^(*)COOH and^(*)CO production,improving the activity and CO selectivity.Jican Hao Han Zhu Qi Zhao Jiace Hao Shuanglong Lu Xiaofan Wang Fang Duan Mingliang Du 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:0
