| 1 | Regression analysis of major parameters affecting the intensity of coal and gas outbursts in laboratory显示文摘Estimating the intensity of outbursts of coal and gas is important as the intensity and frequency of outbursts of coal and gas tend to increase in deep mining. Fully understanding the major factors contributing to coal and gas outbursts is significant in the evaluation of the intensity of the outburst. In this paper, we discuss the correlation between these major factors and the intensity of the outburst using Analysis of Variance(ANOVA) and Contingency Table Analysis(CTA). Regression analysis is used to evaluate the impact of these major factors on the intensity of outbursts based on physical experiments. Based on the evaluation, two simple models in terms of multiple linear and nonlinear regression were constructed for the prediction of the intensity of the outburst. The results show that the gas pressure and initial moisture in the coal mass could be the most significant factors compared to the weakest factor-porosity. The P values from Fisher's exact test in CTA are: moisture(0.019), geostress(0.290), porosity(0.650), and gas pressure(0.031). P values from ANOVA are moisture(0.094), geostress(0.077), porosity(0.420), and gas pressure(0.051). | 2 | The Medium Energy X-ray telescope (ME) onboard the Insight-HXMT astronomy satellite显示文摘The Medium Energy X-ray telescope(ME) is one of the three main telescopes on board the Insight hard X-ray modulation telescope(Insight-HXMT) astronomy satellite. ME contains 1728 pixels of Si-PIN detectors sensitive in 5-30 ke V with a total geometrical area of 952 cm^2. The application specific integrated circuit(ASIC) chip, VA32TA6, is used to achieve low power consumption and low readout noise. The collimators define three kinds of field of views(FOVs) for the telescope, 1°×4°, 4°×4°,and blocked ones. Combination of such FOVs can be used to estimate the in-orbit X-ray and particle background components.The energy resolution of ME is ~3 ke V at 17.8 ke V(FWHM) and the time resolution is 255 μs. | 3 | Engineering Cu^(+)/CeZrO_(x) interfaces to promote CO_(2) hydrogenation to methanol显示文摘Cu-based catalysts are widely employed for CO_(2) hydrogenation to methanol,which is expected as a promising process to achieving carbon neutrality.However,most Cu-based catalysts still suffer from low methanol yield with a passable CO_(2) conversion and lack insight into its reaction mechanism for guiding the design of catalysts.In this work,Cu^(+)/CeZrO_(x) interfaces are engineered by employing a series of ceria-zirconia solid solution catalysts with various Ce/Zr ratios,forming a Cu^(+)-O_(v)-Ce^(3+)structure where Cu^(+)atoms are bonded to the oxygen vacancies(O_(v))of ceria.Compared to Cu/CeO_(2) and Cu/ZrO_(2),the optimized catalyst(i.e.,Cu_(0.3)Ce_(0.3)Zr_(0.7))exhibits a much higher mass-specific methanol formation rate(192g_(MeOH)/kg_(cat)/h)at 240℃and 3 MPa.Through a series of in-situ and ex-situ characterization,it is revealed that oxygen vacancies in solid solutions can effectively assist the activation of CO_(2) and tune the electronic state of copper to promote the formation of Cu^(+)/CeZrO_(x) interfaces,which stabilizes the key*CO intermediate,inhibits its desorption and facilitates its further hydrogenation to methanol via the reverse watergas-shift(RWGS)+CO-Hydro pathway.Therefore,the concentration of*CO or the apparent Cu^(+)/(Cu^(+)+Cu^(0))ratio could be employed as a quantitative descriptor of the methanol formation rate.This work is expected to give a deep insight into the mechanism of metal/support interfaces in CO_(2) hydrogenation to methanol,offering an effective strategy to develop new catalysts with high performance. | Jingpeng Zhang Xiaohang Sun Congyi Wu Wenquan Hang Xu Hu Dawei Qiao Binhang Yan | 2023 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,2: | 3 |
| 4 | Molecular characterization of circulating tumor cells in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma:potential diagnostic and prognostic significance in clinical practice显示文摘Background:The clinical value of heterogeneous sub-populations of circulating tumor cells(CTCs)in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC)remains unclear.Methods:Peripheral blood samples were obtained from 67 PDAC patients.CTCs were isolated by employing CD45 negative enrichment technique and further characterized for epithelial to mesenchymal transition(EMT)or human equilibrative nucleoside transporter-1(hENT-1).The relationships between CTCs sub-phenotypes with clinicopathological factors or post-operative recurrence in PDAC patients were analyzed.Results:EMT related CTCs could be isolated and identified from the 81%of patients(54/67),and both the total count(median:5 vs.17/mL,P<0.0001)and M-CTC percentage(median:0.2 vs.0.345,P=0.0244)of CTCs could differentiate local/regional with metastatic disease.Multivariate analysis showed that both AJCC stage(P=0.025)and M-CTC percentage(P=0.001)were independent prognostic indicators of recurrence free survival(RFS)in resected patients.Moreover,Kaplan-Meier survival analysis showed that M-CTC after 2 courses of chemotherapy was significantly associated with inferior RFS(49.5 weeks vs.undefined,P=0.0288).No significant correlation in hENT-1 expression was found between CTCs and matched tumor tissues,and further multivariate analysis suggested hENT-1 expression in CTCs as independent prognostic factor for RFS(P=0.016).Patients with low hENT-1 expression in CTCs had decreased RFS(32 weeks vs.undefined,P=0.0337).Conclusions:CTCs could be the promising diagnostic biomarkers in PDAC patients,and phenotypic profiling of CTCs based on EMT or hENT-1 could help establish novel prognostic biomarkers in resected patients undergoing adjuvant gemcitabine-based chemotherapy. | Xudong Zhao Yongsu Ma Xiu Dong Zhengkui Zhang Xiaodong Tian Xiaohang Zhao Yinmo Yang | 2021 | Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition2021,10,6: | 3 |

| 6 | High-throughput metabolomics reveals the perturbed metabolic pathways and biomarkers of Yang Huang syndrome as potential targets for evaluating the therapeutic effects and mechanism of geniposide显示文摘High-throughput metabolomics can clarify the underlying molecular mechanism of diseases via the qualitative and quantitative analysis of metabolites.This study used the established Yang Huang syndrome(YHS)mouse model to evaluate the efficacy of geniposide(GEN).Urine metabolic data were quantified by ultraperformance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry.The non-target screening of the massive biological information dataset was performed,and a total of 33 metabolites,including tyramine glucuronide,aurine,and L-cysteine,were identified relating to YHS.These differential metabolites directly participated in the disturbance of phase I reaction and hydrophilic transformation of bilirubin.Interestingly,they were completely reversed by GEN.While,as the auxiliary technical means,we also focused on the molecular prediction and docking results in network pharmacological and integrated analysis part.We used integrated analysis to communicate the multiple results of metabolomics and network pharmacology.This study is the first to report that GEN indirectly regulates the metabolite“tyramine glucuronide”through its direct effect on the target heme oxygenase 1 in vivo.Meanwhile,heme oxygenase-1,a prediction of network pharmacology,was the confirmed metabolic enzyme of phase I reaction in hepatocytes.Our study indicated that the combination of high-throughput metabolomics and network pharmacology is a robust combination for deciphering the pathogenesis of the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome. | Heng Fang Aihua Zhang Xiaohang Zhou Jingbo Yu Qi Song Xijun Wang | 2020 | Frontiers of Medicine2020,14,5: | 3 |

| 8 | DNA damage stress induces the dissociation of Smurf1/2 from MDM2 in a slow manner显示文摘The tumor suppressor p53 locates at the key point of cell growth or apoptosis balance, and the expression level of p53 is tightly controlled by ubiquitin ligases including MDM2. Upon DNA damage stresses, p53 was accumulated and activated, leading to cell cycle arrest or apoptosis. We previously showed that Smad ubiquitylation regulatory factor 1/2 (Smurf1/2) promotes p53 degradation by interacting with and stabilizing MDM2, and consequently enhancing MDM2-mediated ubiquitylation of p53. However, it is unclear how the Smurf1-MDM2 interaction is regulated in response to DNA damage stress. Here, we show that in response to etoposide treatment Smurf1 dissociates from MDM2, resulting in MDM2 destabilization and p53 accumulation. The negative regulation of Smurf1 on apoptosis is released. Notably, this dissociation is a slow process rather than a rapid response, implicating high expression of Smurf1 might confer the resistance against p53 activation. | 9 | Characteristics and Possible Formation Mechanisms of Severe Storms in the Outer Rainbands of Typhoon Mujigae(1522)显示文摘To better understand how severe storms form and evolve in the outer rainbands of typhoons, in this study, we investigate the evolutionary characteristics and possible formation mechanisms for severe storms in the rainbands of Typhoon Mujigae, which occurred during 2–5 October 2015, based on the NCEP–NCAR reanalysis data, conventional observations, and Doppler radar data. For the rainbands far from the inner core(eye and eyewall) of Mujigae(distance of approximately 70–800 km), wind speed first increased with the radius expanding from the inner core, and then decreased as the radius continued to expand. The Rankine Vortex Model was used to explore such variations in wind speed. The areas of strong stormy rainbands were mainly located in the northeast quadrant of Mujigae, and overlapped with the areas of high winds within approximately 300–550 km away from the inner core, where the strong winds were conducive to the development of strong storms. A severe convective cell in the rainbands developed into waterspout at approximately 500 km to the northeast of the inner core, when Mujigae was strengthening before it made landfall. Two severe convective cells in the rainbands developed into two tornadoes at approximately350 km to the northeast of the inner core after Mujigae made landfall. The radar echo bands enhanced to 60 d BZ when mesocyclones occurred in the rainbands and induced tornadoes. The radar echoes gradually weakened after the mesocyclones weakened. The tops of parent clouds of the mesocyclones elevated at first, and then suddenly dropped about 20 min before the tornadoes appeared.
