2CO_2/N_2 separation using supported ionic liquid membranes with green and cost-effective [Choline][Pro]/PEG200 mixtures显示文摘The high price and toxicity of ionic liquids(ILs) have limited the design and application of supported ionic liquid membranes(SILMs) for CO_2 separation in both academic and industrial fields. In this work, [Choline][Pro]/polyethylene glycol 200(PEG200) mixtures were selected to prepare novel SILMs because of their green and costeffective characterization, and the CO_2/N_2 separation with the prepared SILMs was investigated experimentally at temperatures from 308.15 to 343.15 K. The temperature effect on the permeability, solubility and diffusivity of CO_2 was modeled with the Arrhenius equation. A competitive performance of the prepared SILMs was observed with high CO_2 permeability ranged in 343.3–1798.6 barrer and high CO_2/N_2 selectivity from 7.9 to 34.8.It was also found that the CO_2 permeability increased 3 times by decreasing the viscosity of liquids from 370 to38 m Pa·s. 3CD24 aggravates acute liver injury in autoimmune hepatitis by promoting IFN-γ production by CD4^(+) T cells显示文摘The T-cell-mediated immune response is implicated in many clinical hepatic injuries, such as autoimmune hepatitis and acute virus hepatitis. CD24 is widely expressed by different immune cells and plays an important role in the pathogenesis of many autoimmune diseases. However, the role of CD24 in T-cell-mediated liver injury has not been elucidated until now. Here we showed that CD24 deficiency protects mice from concanavalin A (ConA)-induced fulminant liver injury by reducing serum interferon-γ (IFN-γ) levels. CD24 expression by hepatic T cells was markedly increased following ConA challenge. Moreover, decreased IFN-γ production by hepatic CD4^(+) T cells in CD24-deficient mice was detected, which was correlated with downregulated phosphorylation of STAT1 in hepatic tissue. In vitro experiments also supported the conclusion that CD24 deficiency impaired IFN-γ production by CD4^(+) T cells following ConA, CD3/CD28 and phorbol myristate acetate/ionomycin stimulation. 6Numerical Study of Pressure Pulsation of Centrifugal Pumps with the Compressible Mode显示文摘The compressible effect of water is often neglected in the simulation of hydraulic machinery. However, based on experimental and numerical study, it is found that the compressibility of water could influence the magnitude of the pressure pulsation at some frequency in the pump. Therefore, in order to investigate the influence of water compressibility, compressible model is established by using Tait equation. The internal flow of centrifugal pump under different conditions is calculated by this model. The calculated results are compared with the incompressible results, and it is indicated that the compressibility of water has little effect on the performance parameters. But it affects the amplitude of pressure fluctuations at some discrete frequency, especially at the outlet of impeller and volute tongue where significant jet-wake and rotor/stator interaction appears respectively. Meanwhile, water compressibility makes greater influence on the flow pulsation under off-design condition. 7Study of Unforced Unsteadiness in Centrifugal Pump at Partial Flow Rates显示文摘In order to explore the unforced unsteadiness of centrifugal pumps,a 2-D frequency domain imaging display technology was used to study the development of these unsteady flow structures at partial flow conditions.The results showed that,the unsteady flow field was not only affected by rotor and stator interaction,but also appeared an unforced unsteadiness with fundamental frequency of St≈0.23 around the impeller throat area.Moreover,as the flow rates decreased,this unsteady flow structure gradually weakened and disappeared.When the flow rate was reduced to 0.6 times of design flow rate,another two unforced unsteady flow structures with characteristic frequencies of St≈0.0714 and St≈0.12 began to appear in the same area.Therefore,with the operating condition smaller than design flow rate,the internal flow became more and more complex.In addition to the forced unsteadiness,the unforced unsteadiness which is not connected with the blade passage frequency became more and more obvious.YANG Jun XIE Tian LIU Xiaohua SI Qiaorui LIU Jun 2021Journal of Thermal Science2021,30,1:4

9Optimal regenerative repair of large segmental bone defect in a goat model with osteoinductive calcium phosphate bioceramic implants显示文摘So far,how to achieve the optimal regenerative repair of large load-bearing bone defects using artificial bone grafts is a huge challenge in clinic.In this study,a strategy of combining osteoinductive biphasic calcium phosphate(BCP)bioceramic scaffolds with intramedullary nail fixation for creating stable osteogenic microenvironment was applied to repair large segmental bone defects(3.0 cm in length)in goat femur model.The material characterization results showed that the BCP scaffold had the initial compressive strength of over 2.0 MPa,and total porosity of 84%.The cell culture experiments demonstrated that the scaffold had the excellent ability to promote the proliferation and osteogenic differentiation of rat bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs).The in vivo results showed that the intramedullary nail fixation maintained the initial stability and structural integrity of the implants at early stage,promoting the osteogenic process both guided and induced by the BCP scaffolds.At 9 months postoperatively,good integration between the implants and host bone was observed,and a large amount of newborn bones formed,accompanying with the degradation of the material.At 18 months postoperatively,almost the complete new bone substitution in the defect area was achieved.The maximum bending strength of the repaired bone defects reached to the 100% of normal femur at 18 months post-surgery.Our results demonstrated the good potential of osteoinductive BCP bioceramics in the regenerative repair of large load-bearing bone defects.The current study could provide an effective method to treat the clinical large segmental bone defects.Wei Zhi Xiaohua Wang Dong Sun Taijun Chen Bo Yuan Xiangfeng Li Xuening Chen Jianxin Wang Zhao Xie Xiangdong Zhu Kai Zhang Xingdong Zhang 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,5:3
10Denoising for satellite laser altimetry full-waveform data based on EMD-Hurst analysis显示文摘Full-waveform decomposition is crucial for obtaining accurate satelliteground distance,the accuracy of which is severely affected by noises.However,the traditional filters all depend on filtering parameters.This paper presents a new and adaptive method for denoising based on empirical mode decomposition(EMD)and Hurst analysis(EMD-Hurst).The noisy full-waveforms are first decomposed into their intrinsic mode functions(IMFs),and the Hurst exponent of each IMF is established by the detrended fluctuation analysis.The IMF is regarded as the highfrequency noise and is deleted if its Hurst exponent is≤0.5.Both simulated and real full-waveforms were conducted to validate and evaluate the method by comparing with six other IMF selection methods via metrics like waveform decomposition consistency ratio(CR),average error of decomposition parameters,and ICESat/GLAS waveformparameter product GLAH05.The comparisons show that:(1)under different SNR conditions,EMD-Hurst performs robustly and obtains a higher CR than other EMD based methods;(2)obtains the highest average CR and a relatively lower average error for the echo parameters;and(3)peak numbers and fitting accuracy for GLAH01 are more reasonable and precise than those of GLAH05,which could offer a good reference for the processing on future space-borne full-waveform data.Zhijie Zhang Huan Xie Xiaohua Tong Hanwei Zhang Yang Liu Binbin Li 2020International Journal of Digital Earth2020,13,11:3
11Association of systemic inflammation and body mass index with survival in patients with resectable gastric or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinomas显示文摘Objective:The systemic inflammation index and body mass index(BMI)are easily accessible markers that can predict mortality.However,the prognostic value of the combined use of these two markers remains unclear.The goal of this study was therefore to evaluate the association of these markers with outcomes based on a large cohort of patients with gastric cancer.Methods:A total of 2,542 consecutive patients undergoing radical surgery for gastric or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma between 2009 and 2014 were included.Systemic inflammation was quantified by the preoperative neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR).High systemic inflammation was defined as NLR≥3,and underweight was defined as BMI<18.5 kg/m2.Results:Among 2,542 patients,NLR≥3 and underweight were common[627(25%)and 349(14%),respectively].In the entire cohort,NLR≥3 or underweight independently predicted overall survival(OS)[hazard ratio(HR):1.236,95%confidence interval(95%CI):1.069–1.430;and HR:1.600,95%CI:1.350–1.897,respectively]and recurrence-free survival(RFS)(HR:1.230,95%CI:1.054–1.434;and HR:1.658,95%CI:1.389–1.979,respectively).Patients with both NLR≥3 and underweight(vs.neither)had much worse OS(HR:2.445,95%CI:1.853–3.225)and RFS(HR:2.405,95%CI:1.802–3.209).Furthermore,we observed similar results in subgroup analyses according to pathological stage,age,and postoperative chemotherapy.Conclusions:Our results showed that preoperative elevated NLR and decreased BMI had a significant negative effect on survival.Underweight combined with severe inflammation could enhance prognostication.Taking active therapeutic measures to reduce inflammation and increase nutrition may help improve outcomes.Xianchun Gao Yanan Pan Weili Han Caie Hu Chenchen Wang Ling Chen Yong Guo Yupeng Shi Yan Pan Huahong Xie Liping Yao Jianjun Yang Jianyong Zheng Xiaohua Li Xiaonan Liu Liu Hong Jipeng Li Mengbin Li Gang Ji Zengshan Li Jielai Xia Qingchuan Zhao Daiming Fan Kaichun Wu Yongzhan Nie 2021Cancer Biology & Medicine2021,18,1:2
12Molecular and functional characterization of ferritin in abalone Haliotis diversicolor supertexta显示文摘Ferritin is an iron storage protein that plays a key role in the processes of physiology and pathology.In the present study,the authors reported the ferritin gene from abalone Haliotis diversicolor supertexta,which we named hds-ferritin.The full-length of hds-ferritin cDNA consisted of 879 bp with an ORF encoding a 171 amino acids.Amino acid sequence analysis revealed that hds-ferritin shared highly homology with other species.Real time PCR and western blot analysis showed that hds-ferritin was distributed ubiquitously in abalone tissues and had the highest expression level in digestive glands,but its transcripts are not modified remarkably by the stimulation with LPS.The recombinant protein was successfully expressed in Escherichia coli BL21(DE3),and the titre of anti-ferritin antibody was about 1:14 000.The effects of ROS and RNS on ferritin were analyzed in the present study.The results showed that H2O2 played an important role in decreasing hds-ferritin,however NO cation appeared to have a protecting effect on H2O2-medied reduction of hds-ferritin.XIE Jiasong CAO Xiaohua WU Liuji LUO Ming ZHU Zewen HUANG Yanqing WU Xinzhong 2012Acta Oceanologica Sinica2012,31,3:2

15Synthesis of Macro-Mesostructured γ-Al_2O_3 with Large Pore Volume and High Surface Area by a Facile Secondary Reforming Method显示文摘Through improving the aging process during synthesis of the support, γ-Al2O3 with large pore volume and high surface area was synthesized by a facile secondary reforming method. The synthesis parameters, such as the reaction temperature, the first aging temperature and the second aging temperature, were investigated. The textural properties of γ-Al2O3 were characterized by means of N2 adsorption-desorption isotherms, X-ray powder diffractometry(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) spectroscopy and thermogravimetry(TG). The experimental results indicated that AACH and amorphous AlOOH were the precursors of alumina, which were formed via precipitation from solutions after reaction of aluminum sulphate with ammonium hydrogen carbonate. The precursor nanocrystallites grew and re-assembled during the secondary reforming process, which resulted in an increased pore size and pore volume and a decreased bulk density. 16Solvent-free fabrication of broadband WS2 photodetectors on paper显示文摘Paper-based devices have attracted extensive attention due to the growing demand for disposable flexible electronics.Herein,we integrate semiconducting devices on cellulose paper substrate through a simple abrasion technique that yields high-performance photodetectors.A solvent-free WS_(2) film deposited on paper favors an effective electron-hole separation and hampers recombination.The as-prepared paper-based WS2 photodetectors exhibit a sensitive photoresponse over a wide spectral range spanning from ultraviolet(365 nm)to near-infrared(940 nm).Their responsivity value reaches up to~270 mA W^(−1) at 35 V under a power density of 35 mW cm^(−2).A high performance photodetector was achieved by controlling the environmental exposure as the ambient oxygen molecules were found to decrease the photoresponse and stability of the WS_(2) photodetector.Furthermore,we have built a spectrometer using such a paperbased WS_(2) device as the photodetecting component to illustrate its potential application.The present work could promote the development of cost-effective disposable photodetection devices.Wenliang Zhang Onur Çakıroğlu Abdullah Al-Enizi Ayman Nafady Xuetao Gan Xiaohua Ma Sruthi Kuriakose Yong Xie Andres Castellanos-Gomez 2023Opto-Electronic Advances2023,6,3:2
