1First experimental constraints on WIMP couplings in the effective field theory framework from CDEX显示文摘We present weakly interacting massive particles(WIMPs) search results performed using two approaches of effective field theory from the China Dark Matter Experiment(CDEX), based on the data from both CDEX-1B and CDEX-10 stages. In the nonrelativistic effective field theory approach, both time-integrated and annual modulation analyses were used to set new limits for the coupling of WIMP-nucleon effective operators at 90% confidence level(C.L.) and improve over the current bounds in the low mχregion. In the chiral effective field theory approach, data from CDEX-10 were used to set an upper limit on WIMP-pion coupling at 90% C.L. 3Perfluorooctyl bromide nanoemulsions holding MnO_(2) nanoparticles with dual-modality imaging and glutathione depletion enhanced HIFU-eliciting tumor immunogenic cell death显示文摘Tumor-targeted immunotherapy is a remarkable breakthrough,offering the inimitable advantage of specific tumoricidal effects with reduced immune-associated cytotoxicity.However,existing platforms suffer from low efficacy,inability to induce strong immunogenic cell death(ICD),and restrained capacity of transforming immune-deserted tumors into immune-cultivated ones.Here,an innovative platform,perfluorooctyl bromide(PFOB)nanoemulsions holding MnO_(2) nanoparticles(MBP),was developed to orchestrate cancer immunotherapy,serving as a theranostic nanoagent for MRI/CT dual-modality imaging and advanced ICD.By simultaneously depleting the GSH and eliciting the ICD effect via highintensity focused ultrasound(HIFU)therapy,the MBP nanomedicine can regulate the tumor immune microenvironment by inducing maturation of dendritic cells(DCs)and facilitating the activation of CD8^(+)and CD4^(+)T cells.The synergistic GSH depletion and HIFU ablation also amplify the inhibition of tumor growth and lung metastasis.Together,these findings inaugurate a new strategy of tumor-targeted immunotherapy,realizing a novel therapeutics paradigm with great clinical significance.Xinping Kuai Yuefei Zhu Zheng Yuan Shengyu Wang Lin Lin Xiaodan Ye Yiping Lu Yu Luo Zhiqing Pang Daoying Geng Bo Yin 2022Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,2:1
4A hybrid machine learning model for predicting continuous cooling transformation diagrams in welding heat-affected zone of low alloy steels显示文摘Continuous cooling transformation diagrams in synthetic weld heat-affected zone(SH-CCT diagrams)show the phase transition temperature and hardness at different cooling rates,which is an important basis for formulating the welding process or predicting the performance of welding heat-affected zone.However,the experimental determination of SH-CCT diagrams is a time-consuming and costly process,which does not conform to the development trend of new materials.In addition,the prediction of SHCCT diagrams using metallurgical models remains a challenge due to the complexity of alloying elements and welding processes.So,in this study,a hybrid machine learning model consisting of multilayer perceptron classifier,k-Nearest Neighbors and random forest is established to predict the phase transformation temperature and hardness of low alloy steel using chemical composition and cooling rate.Then the SH-CCT diagrams of 6 kinds of steels are calculated by the hybrid machine learning model.The results show that the accuracy of the classification model is up to 100%,the predicted values of the regression models are in good agreement with the experimental results,with high correlation coefficient and low error value.Moreover,the mathematical expressions of hardness in welding heat-affected zone of low alloy steel are calculated by symbolic regression,which can quantitatively express the relationship between alloy composition,cooling time and hardness.This study demonstrates the great potential of the material informatics in the field of welding technology.Xiaoxiao Geng Xinping Mao Hong-Hui Wu Shuize Wang Weihua Xue Guanzhen Zhang Asad Ullah Hao Wang 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,12:0
5Mitochondrion-processed TERC regulates senescence without affecting telomerase activities显示文摘Mitochondrial dysfunctions play major roles in ageing.How mitochondrial stresses invoke downstream responses and how specificity of the signaling is achieved, however, remains unclear. We have previously discovered that the RNA component of Telomerase TERC is imported into mitochondria, processed to a shorter form TERC-53, and then exported back to the cytosol. Cytosolic TERC-53 levels respond to mitochondrial functions, but have no direct effect on these functions, suggesting that cytosolic TERC-53 functions downstream of mitochondria as a signal of mitochondrial functions. Here, we show that cytosolic TERC-53 plays a regulatory role on cellular senescence and is involved in cognition decline in 10 months old mice, independent of its telomerase function. Manipulation of cytosolic TERC-53 levels affects cellular senescence and cognition decline in 10 months old mouse hippocampi without affecting telomerase activity, and most importantly, affects cellular senescence in terc^-/- cells.
