| 2 | Overexpression of N-cadherin is correlated with metastasis and worse survival in colorectal cancer patients显示文摘N-cadherin is related to the progression and metastases of several solid carcinomas.However,it was still unclear whether N-cadherin is overexpressed in colorectal malignant tumors that have stronger malignant tendency.In this study,we used immunohistochemistry to detect the expression patterns of N-cadherin in both the primary tumors and their normal mucosa tissues of 120patients with colorectal cancer.We revealed that N-cadherin was expressed in 78.3%(94/120)of colorectal tumor tissues and in only 9.2%(11/120)of paired distant normal mucosa tissues with a significant difference(P=0.000).The low,moderate,and high expression of N-cadherin protein was 42.5%,30.8%,and 26.7%,respectively.N-cadherin overexpression was associated with advanced TNM stage,lymph nodes metastasis and distant metastasis(P<0.05).Patients with N-cadherin overexpressed showed the obvious lower overall survival rate than those with moderate and low expression,and patients with low expression had a better survival rate than those with moderate and high expression(P<0.05).In conclusion,high N-cadherin expression may lead to tumor aggressiveness and metastatic potential in colorectal cancer,and may prove to be a possible prognostic factor. | ZHUO HongQing JIANG KeWei DONG LingYi ZHU Yi Lü Liang Lü You ZHANG YanBin ZHANG Hui YE YingJiang WANG Shan | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,28: | 2 |
| 3 | Multi-centric clinical study of the effect of intervention time on efficacy of gastroparesis external application prescription treatment of gastrointestinal tumor postsurgical gastroparesis显示文摘Objective:This intervention has been shown to be clinically efficacious and safe.The aim of this study was to determine the effect of different intervention times on the efficacy of gastroparesis external application prescription versus placebo for the treatment of gastrointestinal tumor postoperative,postsurgical gastroparesis.Methods:A multicenter,randomized,double-blind,placebo controlled phaseⅢclinical trial was designed to demonstrate superiority and conducted at four grade 3A hospitals in Beijing.Patients diagnosed with gastrointestinal tumor postsurgical gastroparesis and local cold syndrome in the abdomen were enrolled and received conventional treatment(nutritional support,gastrointestinal decompression,and prokinetic medication).Treatment and control groups respectively received gastroparesis external application prescription or placebo acupoint application over a treatment course of 14 days or until the primary efficacy endpoint(clinical efficiency)was achieved.Results:A total of 120 patients were enrolled in the treatment and control groups(n Z 60 per group),and 15 patients dropped out of the study because of skin allergies(n Z 7)or poor efficacy(nZ8).The efficacy among patients in Class B of Group A(treatment group)was marginally better than that of Group B(control group)(64.28%vs.55.56%)although the difference between the two groups was not significant.However,the efficacy among patients in Class C of Group A was significantly better than that of Group B(79.49%vs.43.33%).For Group A,the time for patients in the three classes to achieve the efficacy endpoint increased significantly with disease progression(3.00,6.78,and 8.29 days for Class A,B,and C,respectively).Conclusions:Gastroparesis external application prescription can effectively treat gastrointestinal tumor postsurgical gastroparesis and may be more efficacious in progressive disease compared placebo.Patients with gastrointestinal tumor postsurgical gastroparesis should therefore undergo intervention at an earlier stage. | Qin Zhou Minghuan Zuo Yantao Tian Yanbin Wang Yingjiang Ye Chao An Tian Zhou Chuanbo Liu Kaiwen Hu Quanwang Li | 2016 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2016,3,4: | 2 |
| 4 | BAP31 is frequently overexpressed in patients with primary colorectal cancer and correlates with better prognosis显示文摘We previously showed that B cell receptor associated protein 31(BAP31) was significantly upregulated in colorectal cancer compared with normal mucosa epithelia. However, its expression pattern and pathological role in colorectal cancer are not clearly understood. In this study, we investigated whether the expression of BAP31 was associated with the clinicopathological parameters of colorectal cancer. The expression pattern of BAP31 was detected by immunohistochemistry on a tissue microarray in both primary tumor and paired distant normal mucosa samples from 120 consecutive colorectal cancer patients. Furthermore, BAP31 protein expression was also determined in twenty colorectal adenomas and eight liver metastasis samples. There was positive expression of BAP31 in 64.17% of primary tumors and 6.67% in distant normal mucosa (P=0.000). Negative expression of BAP31 was correlated with distant metastasis (P=0.036) and lower tumor differentiation grade (P=0.001). Patients with BAP31-negative expression showed significantly lower overall survival rate (P=0.003) compared to patients with BAP31-positive expression. | 10 | Effect of process conditions on the synthesis of carbon nanotubes by catalytic decomposition of methane显示文摘A new dual-composition catalyst based on Ni-Mo/MgO with high efficiency of producing carbon nanotubes (CNTs) from methane was reported recently. In the present article, with this type of catalyst, the impact of such experimental parameters as reaction temperature, reaction time, concentration of H2, ?ow rate ratio of CH4 to H2 on yield and graphitization were investigated, leading to the following optimal growth conditions: reaction time 60 min, reaction temperature 900 ?C, CH4:H2 about 100:20 mL/min, under which high-yield multi-walled CNTs bundles were synthesized. Raman measurement indicated that the as-synthesized product was well-graphitized, and the purity was estimated over 95% by TG-DSC analysis. | 11 | Analysis of Water Pollution Causes and Control Countermeasures in Liaohe Estuary via Support Vector Machine Particle Swarm Optimization under Deep Learning显示文摘This study explores the loss or degradation of the ecosystem and its service function in the Liaohe estuary coastal zone due to the deterioration ofwater quality.Aprediction systembased on support vectormachine(SVM)-particle swarm optimization(PSO)(SVM-PSO)algorithm is proposed under the background of deep learning.SVM-PSO algorithm is employed to analyze the pollution status of the Liaohe estuary,so is the difference in water pollution of different sea consuming types.Based on the analysis results for causes of pollution,the control countermeasures of water pollution in Liaohe estuary are put forward.The results suggest that the water pollution index prediction model based on SVM-PSO algorithm shows the maximum error of 2.41%,the average error of 1.24%in predicting the samples,the root mean square error(RMSE)of 5.36×10^(−4),and the square of correlation coefficient of 0.91.Therefore,the prediction system in this study is feasible.At present,the water pollution status of Liaohe estuary is of moderate and severe levels of eutrophication,and the water pollution status basically remains at the level of mild pollution.The general trend is fromphosphorus moderate restricted eutrophication to phosphorus restricted potential eutrophication.To sumup,the SVM-PSO algorithm shows good sewage prediction ability,which can be applied and promoted in water pollution control and has reliable reference significance. | Guize Liu Jinqing Ye Yuan Chen Xiaolong Yang Yanbin Gu | 2022 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2022,,1: | 0 |

| 15 | The Relationships between Erythrocyte Membrane n-6 to n-3 Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids Ratio and Blood Lipids and C-reactive Protein in Chinese Adults:An Observational Study显示文摘Objective To investigate the relationships between erythrocyte membrane n‐6:n‐3 PUFAs ratio and blood lipids and high sensitivity C‐reactive protein (hs‐CRP).Methods The observational study consisted of a population‐based cross‐sectional study of 456 Chinese and a subsequent 1‐year follow‐up study of 171 subjects with the fasting plasma total cholesterol of 5.13‐8.00 mmol/L.Results In the cross‐sectional analysis,plasma low‐density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL‐c) had a significant and negative association with the erythrocyte membrane n‐6:n‐3 PUFAs ratio (P for trend=0.019) after adjusting for sex,age and total PUFA percentage.In the follow‐up study,171 subjects were categorized into quartiles by the changes of n‐6:n‐3 ratio in erythrocyte membrane (△=month 12‐month 0).In the top quartile whose ratios of n‐6:n‐3 increased by an average of 1.25 during the follow‐up,the LDL‐c‐lowering extent was 3.3 times of that in the lowest quartile whose ratios of n‐6:n‐3 decreased by an average of 1.13 (‐1.07 mmol/L v.s.‐0.32 mmol/L).The hsCRP decreased by 0.11 mg/dL in the lowest quartile while increasing by 0.10 mg/dL in the top quartile (P for difference=0.052).Conclusion Our results suggested that the balance between n‐6 and n‐3 fatty acids may optimize the cardiovascular benefits from dietary PUFAs. | ZHANG Bo WANG Ping ZHOU Quan CHEN ChaoGang ZHUO ShuYu YE YanBin HE QiQiang CHEN YuMing SU YiXiang | 2011 | Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2011,24,3: | 0 |
