1Investigation of heavy metal partitioning influenced by flue gas moisture and chlorine content during waste incineration显示文摘The impact of moisture on the partitioning of the heavy metals including Pb,Zn,Cu and Cd in municipal solid waste (MSW) was studied in a laboratory tubular furnace.A thermodynamic investigation using CHEMKIN software was performed to compare the experimental results.Simulated waste,representative of typical MSW with and without chlorine compounds,was burned at the background temperature of 700 and 950°C,respectively.In the absence of chlorine,the moisture content has no evident effect on the volatility of Pb,Zn and Cu at either 700 or 950°C,however,as flue gas moisture increasing the Cd distribution in the bottom ash increased at 700°C and reduced at 950°C,respectively.In the presence of chlorine,the flue gas moisture reduced the volatility of Pb,Zn and Cu due to the transformation of the more volatile metal chlorides into less volatile metal oxides,and the reduction became significant as chlorine content increase.For Cd,the chlorine promotes its volatility through the formation of more volatile CdCl 2.As a result,the increased moisture content increases the Pb,Zn,Cu and Cd concentrations in the bottom ash,which limits the utilization of the bottom ash as a construction material.Therefore,in order to accumulate heavy metals into the fly ash,MSW should be dried before incineration.Qinghai Li,Aihong Meng,Jinyan Jia,Yanguo Zhang Department of Thermal Engineering,Key Laboratory for Thermal Science and Power Engineering of the Ministry of Education of China,Tsinghua University,Beijing 100084,China. 2010Journal of Environmental Sciences2010,22,5:24
2Certificateless Public Key Encryption with Keyword Search显示文摘Public Key Encryption with Keyword Search(PEKS),an indispensable part of searchable encryption,is stock-intrade for both protecting data and providing operability of encrypted data.So far most of PEKS schemes have been established on Identity-Based Cryptography(IBC) with key escrow problem inherently.Such problem severely restricts the promotion of IBC-based Public Key Infrastructure including PEKS component.Hence,Certificateless Public Key Cryptography(CLPKC) is efficient to remove such problem.CLPKC is introduced into PEKS,and a general model of Certificate/ess PEKS(CLPEKS) is formalized.In addition,a practical CLPEKS scheme is constructed with security and efficiency analyses.The proposal is secure channel free,and semantically secure against adaptive chosen keyword attack and keyword guessing attack.To illustrate the superiority,massive experiments are conducted on Enron Email dataset which is famous in information retrieval field.Compared with existed constructions,CLPEKS improves the efficiency in theory and removes the key escrow problem.PENG Yanguo CUI Jiangtao PENG Changgen YING Zuobin 2014China Communications2014,11,11:21

4Insight-HXMT observations of the first binary neutron star merger GW170817显示文摘Finding the electromagnetic(EM) counterpart of binary compact star merger, especially the binary neutron star(BNS) merger,is critically important for gravitational wave(GW) astronomy, cosmology and fundamental physics. On Aug. 17, 2017,Advanced LIGO and Fermi/GBM independently triggered the first BNS merger, GW170817, and its high energy EM counterpart,GRB 170817 A, respectively, resulting in a global observation campaign covering gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, optical, IR, radio as well as neutrinos. The High Energy X-ray telescope(HE) onboard Insight-HXMT(Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope) is the unique high-energy gamma-ray telescope that monitored the entire GW localization area and especially the optical counterpart(SSS17 a/AT2017 gfo) with very large collection area(~1000 cm^2) and microsecond time resolution in 0.2-5 MeV. In addition,Insight-HXMT quickly implemented a Target of Opportunity(ToO) observation to scan the GW localization area for potential X-ray emission from the GW source. Although Insight-HXMT did not detect any significant high energy(0.2-5 MeV) radiation from GW170817, its observation helped to confirm the unexpected weak and soft nature of GRB 170817 A. Meanwhile,Insight-HXMT/HE provides one of the most stringent constraints(~10^(-7) to 10^(-6) erg/cm^2/s) for both GRB170817 A and any other possible precursor or extended emissions in 0.2-5 MeV, which help us to better understand the properties of EM radiation from this BNS merger. 5The High Energy X-ray telescope (HE) onboard the Insight-HXMT astronomy satellite显示文摘The Insight-Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope(Insight-HXMT) is a broadband X-ray and γ-ray(1-3000 ke V) astronomy satellite. One of its three main telescopes is the High Energy X-ray telescope(HE). The main detector plane of HE comprises 18 Na I(Tl)/Cs I(Na) phoswich detectors, where Na I(Tl) is used as the primary detector to measure ~ 20-250 ke V photons incident from the field of view(FOV) defined by collimators, and Cs I(Na) is used as the active shielding detector to Na I(Tl) by pulse shape discrimination. Additionally, Cs I(Na) is used as an omnidirectional γ-ray monitor. The HE collimators have a diverse FOV,i.e. 1.1°×5.7°(15 units), 5.7°×5.7°(2 units), and blocked(1 unit). Therefore, the combined FOV of HE is approximately5.7°×5.7°. Each HE detector has a diameter of 190 mm resulting in a total geometrical area of approximately 5100 cm2, and the energy resolution is ~15% at 60 ke V. For each recorded X-ray event by HE, the timing accuracy is less than 10 μs and the deadtime is less than 10 μs. HE is used for observing spectra and temporal variability of X-ray sources in the 20-250 ke V band either by pointing observations for known sources or scanning observations to unveil new sources. Additionally, HE is used for monitoring the γ-ray burst in 0.2-3 Me V band. 7Research on the ecological risk of heavy metals in the soil around a Pb–Zn mine in the Huize County, China显示文摘The soil pollution by heavy metals was characterized in the mine tailings and surrounding soils of an old Pb–Zn mine in Huize County. Three hundred and ninety-six samples of agricultural and non-agricultural soil were analyzed for the total metal concentration by acid digestion and sixty-eight selected soil samples were used to determine the chemical fractionation of heavy metals with the modified BCR sequential extraction method. The pollution index of the heavy metals indices for As, Cd, Cr, Cu,Hg, Pb and Zn of non-agricultural soil and agricultural soils in the study area indicated the spreading of heavy metal pollution. Sequential extraction showed that most of Cd existed in an exchangeable form(31.2 %). The available content of Pb, Cu and Zn was mainly distributed in acid extractable fractions and Fe/Mn oxide fractions(27.9, 30 and 27.2 %), and Hg, As and Cr were mainly associated with residual fractions(90.4, 72.9 and 76.8 %). The risks of heavy metals were also evaluated by the risk assessment code(RAC) and potential ecological risk index, respectively. The results of RAC showed a medium and high risk of Cd(45.6 and 54.4 %), medium risk of Zn(100 %), low and medium risk of Cu(41.2 and 58.8 %), largely no risk of Hg(97.1 %), and mainly low risk of As and Pb(92.6and 91.8 %). The range of the potential ecological risk of soil was 58.2–1839.3, revealing a considerably high ecological risk in the study area, most likely related to acid mine drainage and the mining complexes located in the area. 8Shear wave velocity-based evaluation and design of stone column improved ground for liquefaction mitigation显示文摘The evaluation and design of stone column improvement ground for liquefaction mitigation is a challenging issue for the state of practice. In this paper, a shear wave velocity-based approach is proposed based on the well-defined correlations of liquefaction resistance(CRR)-shear wave velocity(V_s)-void ratio(e) of sandy soils, and the values of parameters in this approach are recommended for preliminary design purpose when site specific values are not available. The detailed procedures of pre-and post-improvement liquefaction evaluations and stone column design are given. According to this approach, the required level of ground improvement will be met once the target V_s of soil is raised high enough(i.e., no less than the critical velocity) to resist the given earthquake loading according to the CRR-V_s relationship, and then this requirement is transferred to the control of target void ratio(i.e., the critical e) according to the V_s-e relationship. As this approach relies on the densification of the surrounding soil instead of the whole improved ground and is conservative by nature, specific considerations of the densification mechanism and effect are given, and the effects of drainage and reinforcement of stone columns are also discussed. A case study of a thermal power plant in Indonesia is introduced, where the effectiveness of stone column improved ground was evaluated by the proposed V_s-based method and compared with the SPT-based evaluation. 9Corrosion behavior of bulk metallic glasses in different aqueous solutions显示文摘The corrosion behavior of as-cast fully amorphous, structural relaxed amorphous and crystallized Fe65.5Cr4Mo4Ga4P12C5B5.5 bulk metallic glasses (BMGs) in NaCl, HCl and NaOH solutions was investigated by electrochemical polarization and immersion methods. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy measurements was used to analyze the changes of the elements on the alloy surface before and after immersion in various solutions. The corrosion resistance of the Fe65.5Cr4Mo4Ga4P12C5B5.5 BMG was better than its structural relaxation/crystallization counterparts and common alloys (such as stainless steel, carbonized steel, and steel) in the selected aqueous solutions. 11Environmental Geochemistry of Mining Activities in Panzhihua Region, Southwestern China显示文摘Mining activities have created huge uncovered slopes, large areas of gangue ground and extensive tailings dams. This paper presents the environmental geochemistry of mining activities in Panzhihua region. The selected elements (Ti, V, Mo. Ni. Pb. Cu) show similar distribution patterns of concentration anomaly in topsoil. These concentration anomalies are located in V-Ti-magnetite slope, gangues dam and coal mine. The distinction between anthropogenic contamination and natural background is made available by the use of the enrichment factor in this study area. The anomalies of EF were smaller than that of concentration. The results from EF show that the selected elements anthropogenic pollution (EF>1) in topsoil were located in both the coal mining area and the V-Ti-magnetite mining area. 12Physico-chemical properties and structure of rice cultivars grown in Heilongjiang Province of China显示文摘The relationships between chemical composition,structure and physicochemical properties such as pasting,thermal,and textural properties of 12 temperate rice cultivars grown in Heilongjiang Province,China were investigated in this study.There were significant differences in the content of fat,protein,ash,amylose,damaged starch among 12 cultivars.Brabender Viscograph results showed that gelatinization time,peak viscosity,pasting and peak temperature ranged from 9 min to 15 min,2100 BU to 2500 BU,58.75℃to 72.00℃and 63.75℃to 84.45℃,respectively,except for the waxy one Longjing 9.To,Tp,Tc andΔH were found in the range of 58.34℃to 67.96℃,65.39℃to 75.38℃,78.47℃to 90.69℃and 2.036 J/g to 3.127 J/g respectively.Scanning Electron Micro-photograph results showed that all starch granules were polyhedral with irregular shapes,except Longjing 9 showing signs of the loss of physical integrity.The hardness,adhesiveness,springiness,gumminess,cohesiveness and resilience ranged from 395.87 g to 1161.76 g,-90.842 g·mm to-36.4 g·mm,0.498 to 0.747,78.631 g to 466.837 g,0.199 to 0.569,0.321 to 0.504,respectively.Correlation studies indicated that amylose,damaged starch,protein,fat and ash played a more important role in determining the rice properties of pasting,thermal,crystallinity and texture.Yinyuan He Fenglian Chen Yanguo Shi Zhexian Guan Na Zhang Osvaldo HCampanella 2021Food Science and Human Wellness2021,10,1:5

15Comparison of CMAS corrosion and sintering induced microstructural characteristics of APS thermal barrier coatings显示文摘The microstructural features of high-temperature sintered and CaO-MgO-Al_2O_3-SiO_2(CMAS) corroded air plasma sprayed Y_2O_3 stabilized ZrO_2(YSZ) thermal barrier coatings(TBCs) under the thermal gradient condition were comparatively studied. As-sprayed YSZ has a lamellar structure and the lamellae are composed of closely aligned columnar crystals. The sintered and the CMAS corroded YSZ coatings maintain the t'-ZrO_2 phase as the as-sprayed YSZ coating. The sintered YSZ remains the lamellar structure with reduced interlamellar gaps and grains coarsening. After the CMAS corrosion, the top layer of the YSZ coating keeps its lamellar structure consisting of some columnar grains with the CMAS infiltration into the intergrain gaps and the formation of striped Zr_2Y_2 O_7. 17Regional disparities of phytoplankton in relation to different water masses in the Northwest Pacific Ocean during the spring and summer of 2017显示文摘The West Pacific Ocean is considered as the provenance center of global marine life and has the highest species diversity of numerous marine taxa.The phytoplankton,as the primary producer at the base of the food chain,effects on climate change,fish resources as well as the entire ecosystem.However,there are few large-scale surveys covering several currents with different hydrographic characteristics.This study aimed to explore the relationships between the spatio-temporal variation in phytoplankton community structure and different water masses.A total of 630 water samples and 90 net samples of phytoplankton were collected at 45 stations in the Northwest Pacific Ocean(21.0°–42.0°N,118.0°–156.0°E)during spring and summer 2017.A total of 281 phytoplankton taxa(>5μm)belonging to 61 genera were identified in the study area.The distribution pattern of the phytoplankton community differed significantly both spatially and temporally.The average abundances of phytoplankton in spring and summer were 797.07×10~2 cells/L and 84.94×10~2 cells/L,respectively.Whether in spring or summer,the maximum abundance always appeared in the northern transition region affected by the Oyashio Current,where nutrients were abundant and diatoms dominated the phytoplankton community;whereas the phytoplankton abundance was very low in the oligotrophic Kuroshio region,and the proportion of dinoflagellates in total abundance increased significantly.The horizontal distribution of phytoplankton abundance increased from low to high latitudes,which was consistent with the trend of nutrient distributions,but contrary to that of water temperature and salinity.In the northern area affected by the Oyashio Current,the phytoplankton abundance was mainly concentrated in the upper 30 m of water column,while the maximum abundance often occurred at depths of 50–75 m in the south-central area affected by the Kuroshio Current.Pearson correlation and redundancy analysis(RDA)showed that phytoplankton abundance was significant negatively correlated with temperature and salinity,but positively correlated with nutrient concentration.The phytoplankton community structure was mainly determined by nutrient availability,especially the N:P ratio.Gengming Lin Yanghang Chen Jiang Huang Yanguo Wang Youyin Ye Qingliang Yang 2020Acta Oceanologica Sinica2020,39,6:4

Then, the cellular morphology, nitrate reductase(NR) activity, soluble sugar and protein contents, and chlorophyll ?uorescence were measured, and the transcriptional expression of carotenogenic genes was determined by quantitative real-time PCR. The results showed that 3.0 mmol/L of Na_2 WO_4 was the optimum concentration to induce astaxanthin accumulation, with a maximum content of 49.41±0.13 pg/cell reached on the tenth day. The NR activity decreased signi?cantly and continually after Na_2 WO_4 treatment. The soluble sugar content increased gradually during the experimental period and was eventually signi?cantly higher than that in the control. The soluble protein content increased rapidly,reached a maximum in day 0.5 and day 1 and then decreased. The ef fective photochemical effciency of PSII( F v'/F m') and light saturation( E k) ?rst decreased and then tended to stabilize, and NADP +-glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase(GAPDH) gene expression was correlated with photosynthesis. The transcriptional expression of ipi, psy and bkt was signi?cantly increased compared with that in the control after application of Na_2 WO_4, and the relative expression of ipi reached the highest level on the ?fth day, with a 98.03±1.92-fold increase. 19Zooplankton composition and distribution in the Lembeh Strait of North Sulawesi, Indonesia显示文摘Based on oceanographic survey data in June 2012 in the Lembeh Strait, the zooplankton ecological characteristics such as species composition, individual abundance, dominant species and distribution were analyzed. The results showed that 183 species(including 4 sp.) had been recognized, most of them belonged to copepoda.Cnidaria followed with 43 species(including 1 sp.) were identified. The average abundance of zooplankton was(150.47±58.91) ind./m^3. As to the horizontal distribution, the abundance of the zooplankton was higher in the southern waters than in the northern waters. The dominant species in the study area were Lensia subtiloides,Sagitta enflata, Lucifer intermedius, Oikopleura rufescens, Diphyes chamissoni, Creseis acicula, Subeucalanus subcrassus, Temora discaudata, Aglaura hemistoma, Doliolum denticulatum, Canthocalanus pauper, Oikopleura longicauda and Nanomia bijuga. Zooplankton biodiversity indexes were higher in study area than previous study in the other regions. 20Study on drying and combustion process in grate-CFB incinerator显示文摘The drying and combustion process in the combined grate and circulating fluidized bed(grate-CFB) municipal solid waste(MSW) incinerator was investigated experimentally and mathematically.The drying grate bed was simulated by a muffle furnace,which could be controlled at a constant tempera-ture level.The kind of wastes,thickness of waste layer fed and temperature were chosen as the ad-justable parameters to study their effect on the drying process.The experimental results indicated that the hydrophilic wastes were more difficult to be dried than the hydrophobic wastes.The higher the temperature is the easier the waste is to be dried.The thinner waste layer is favorable to drying the waste.The pyrolysis experiment in the furnace showed that the higher temperature level could reduce the conversion rate of carbon to carbon monoxide.The semi-empirical mathematical model that in-cluded the bed material distribution submodel,volatile matter release submodel,carbon particle combustion submodel and so on was proposed.A 260 t/d grate-CFB incinerator was modeled and the model predicted bulk density agreed with the measured value from industrial field test.The predicted flue gas(e.g.CO2,CO) concentration deviated slightly from the industrial test data.The parameters and variables used in the model were determined by the experiments or practical field test.This model can be used to design the grate-CFB incinerator and guide its operation.QingHai Li YanGuo Zhang MeiQian Chen AiHong Meng ChangHe Chen 2009Science China(Technological Sciences)2009,52,5:3
