| 1 | 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). | 6 | Uranium sorption on oxyhydroxide minerals by surface complexation and precipitation显示文摘During the chemical weathering of the uranium mill tailings,released uranium could be immobilized by the newly formed secondary minerals such as oxyhydroxides.A deeper understanding of the interaction between uranium and common oxyhydroxides under environmental conditions is necessary.In this work,uranium sorption behaviors on Al-,Mn-and Fe-oxyhydroxide minerals(boehmite,manganite,goethite,and lepidocrocite)were investigated by batch experiments.Results showed that the uranium sorption on Al-oxyhydroxide behaved significantly differently from the other three minerals.The sorption edge of the Mn-and Fe-oxyhydroxides located around pH 5,while the sorption edge of boehmite shifted about 1.5 pH unit to near neutral.The sorption isotherms of uranium on manganite,goethite and lepidocrocite at pH 5.0 could be well fitted by the Langmuir model.Instead of surface complexation,sorption on boehmite happened mainly by uranium-bearing carbonates and hydroxides precipitation as illustrated by the characterization results.Both carbonate and phosphate strongly affected the uranium sorption behavior.The removal efficiency of uranium by boehmite exceeded 98%after three sorption-desorption cycles,indicating it may be a potential material for uranium removal and recovery. | Jingyi Wang Wanqiang Zhou Yanlin Shi Yao Li Dongfan Xian Ning Guo Chunli Liu | 2022 | Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,7: | 3 |

| 13 | Therapeutic effects of EGF-modified curcumin/ chitosan nano-spray on wound healing显示文摘Dermal injury,including trauma,surgical incisions,and burns,remain the most prevalent socio-economical health care issue in the clinic.Nanomedicine represents a reliable administration strategy that can promote the healing of skin lesions,but the lack of effective drug delivery methods can limit its effectiveness.In this study,we developed a novel nano-drug delivery system to treat skin defects through spraying.We prepared curcumin-loaded chitosan nanoparticles modified with epidermal growth factor(EGF)to develop an aqueous EGF-modified spray(EGF@CCN)for the treatment of dermal wounds.In vitro assays showed that the EGF@CCN displayed low cytotoxicity,and that curcumin was continuously and slowly released from the EGF@CCN.In vivo efficacy on wound healing was then evaluated using full-thickness dermal defect models in Wistar rats,showing that the EGF@CCN had significant advantages in promoting wound healing.On day 12 post-operation,skin defects in the rats of the EGF@CCN group were almost completely restored.These effects were related to the activity of curcumin and EGF on skin healing,and the high compatibility of the nano formulation.We therefore conclude that the prepared nano-scaled EGF@CCN spray represents a promising strategy for the treatment of dermal wounds. | Yue Li QingQing Leng XianLun Pang Huan Shi YanLin Liu SuSu Xiao Ling Zhao Ping Zhou ShaoZhi Fu | 2021 | Regenerative Biomaterials2021,8,2: | 1 |

| 17 | Influence of inherent iron and oxygen concentrations on selenite sorption process using bentonite显示文摘The oxygen concentration and inherent Fe in bentonite have a significant influence on the Se(IV) sorption process.In this study,the sorption of selenite on natural bentonite was investigated using a batch experiment method,and the distribution coefficient(K_d)values were obtained in the pH range from 2.0 to 10.0 under oxic/anoxic conditions.The K_d values always reached a maximum value at a pH of 4 under oxic conditions and at a pH of 8 under anoxic conditions;meanwhile,the K_d value under anoxic conditions was larger than the value under oxic conditions,especially in regard to the maximum K_d values.The oxygen conditions have a significant influence on the ratio of redox-sensitive Fe^(2+)/Fe^(3+),which was closely related to the difference in the K_d values under both oxic/anoxic conditions.Ferric selenite and green rust could be responsible for the maximum K_d values under oxic/anoxic conditions.In the leaching experiments,we found that the Fe^(2+) in bentonite could replace Mg^(2+) and Al^(3+) in the octahedral sheet.Spectroscopy methods,such as Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),X-ray diffraction(XRD) and X-ray absorption spectroscopy(XAS) were used to characterize the surface properties of the samples after reaction.Overall,this study shows that the addition of Fe^(2+)-containing materials into backfill/buffer materials under anoxic condition could enhance the sorption of ^(79)Se(IV). | Jiangang He Xueling Qiao Yanlin Shi Yao Li Xiaoyu Yang Wanqiang Zhou Chunli Liu | 2017 | Science China Chemistry2017,60,9: | 0 |
| 18 | Power and efficiency optimizations for an open cycle two-shaft gas turbine power plant显示文摘In finite-time thermodynamic analyses for various gas turbine cycles,there are two common models:one is closed-cycle model with thermal conductance optimization of heat exchangers,and another is open-cycle model with optimization of pressure drop(PD)distributions.Both of optimization also with searching optimal compressor pressure ratio(PR).This paper focuses on an open-cycle model.A two-shaft open-cycle gas turbine power plant(OCGTPP)is modeled in this paper.Expressions of power output(PP)and thermal conversion efficiency(TCE)are deduced,and these performances are optimized by varying the relative PD and compressor PR.The results show that there exist the optimal values(0.32 and 14.0)of PD and PR which lead to double maximum dimensionless PP(1.75).There also exists an optimal value(0.38)of area allocation ratio which leads to maximum TCE(0.37).Moreover,the performances of three types of gas turbine cycles,such as one-shaft and two-shaft ones,are compared.When the relative pressure drop at the compressor inlet is small,the TCE of third cycle is the biggest one;when this pressure drop is large,the PP of second cycle is the biggest one.The results herein can be applied to guide the preliminary designs of OCGTPPs. | Lingen Chen Huijun Feng Yanlin Ge Shuangshuang Shi | 2023 | Propulsion and Power Research2023,12,4: | 0 |
