1Water-conserving mining influencing factors identification and weight determination in northwest China显示文摘Water-conserving mining is an effective way to alleviate the contradiction between fragile ecological environment and high-intensity coal mining in the arid and semi-arid region of northwest China. It needs to consider the engineering and geological conditions, hydrogeological conditions and mining methods of coal seams. From the three aspects, this paper systematically analyzes the influencing factors and establishes an identification model with multi-level structures. The model includes three primary factors (including the engineering and geological conditions, hydrogeological conditions and mining methods), nine secondary factors (including overlying strata thickness, aquiclude, mining parameters and etc.), sixteen third-tier factors (including the faults, aquiclude thickness and effective mining height and etc.) and twelve fourth-tier factors (including the fault throw exp on ent, aquiclude permeability and coal pillar sizes and etc.). On the basis, the analytic hierarchy process is used to build the judgment matrix and obtain the weight of each influencing factor. The results indicate that the overlying strata thickness, aquiclude and effective mining height are the most import a nt factors among the primary factors of engineering and geological conditions, hydrogeological conditions and mining methods, respectively. 2Multiple seismological evidences of basin effects revealed by Array of Binchuan(ABC), northwest Yunnan, China显示文摘Dense array seismology, which is characterized by large number, densely deployed autonomous geophone/seismographs, has received great concerns worldwide recently, especially after the great success of dense array in Long Beach. One of the biggest curiosity is that if the great success in Long Beach is replicable in China. Hence, we analyze the seismic records from a dense array in Binchuan basin, Yunnan province, which consists of three-component short-period seismographs of three most common domestic models. The Binchuan basin is located near the intersection between the Chenghai-Binchuan fault and the Red River fault,with the latter being the major fault accommodating significant tectonic deformation resulting from eastern extrusion of the Tibetan plateau. Both faults pose serious seismic threats to local residents in Binchuan basin. Basinrange differences, faults, local earthquakes, and a Fixed Airgun Seismic Transmitting Station(FASTS), make the Binchuan basin a perfect experiment site for dense array experiment. The array is named Array of Binchuan(ABC)and the main target is imaging the shallow crustal structure,especially the structure of the basin. To examine the monitoring capability of ABC, we analyze the seismograms to check if they can reveal the basin, the most significant geological feature in the area. Power spectral density analysis,travel time and amplitude analysis of FASTS signals, and amplitude analysis of earthquakes and noise cross-correlation functions are used in the analysis. All the results show correlation with the basin and clear difference between basin and non-basin area. 3Perfluorooctane sulfonate and perfluorooctanoic acid in the fingernails of urban and rural children显示文摘Perfluorooctane sulfonate(PFOS)and perfluorooctanoic acid(PFOA)are two typical perfluorinated compounds(PFCs),found in a wide range of environmental media and organisms,including humans.Human biomonitoring studies of body fluids have revealed that in many areas of the world the general population has been exposed to background levels of PFOS and PFOA.Fingernail has been suggested as a promising biopsy material for assessment of PFCs environmental exposure.In the present study,PFOS and PFOA were quantified using high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(HPLC-MS/MS)in fingernails of urban and rural children(N=93)aged 6-12 years.A questionnaire was conducted to determine factors that could influence the PFOS and PFOA levels in the children.The levels of PFOS in urban children were significantly higher(geometric mean(GM)=328 ng/g)than those in rural children(GM=27 ng/g).In contrast,PFOA levels were significantly lower in the urban children compared with the rural children.Significant positive correlation(R=0.53,P<0.05 for urban areas;R=0.71;P<0.001 for rural areas)between the PFOS and PFOA concentrations indicated they had similar sources.The PFOS and PFOA levels were higher in fingernail samples from children aged <9 years than in children aged ≥9 years.In addition,females had higher PFOA levels than males,in both regions.Other factors that significantly influenced PFOS and PFOA levels were dietary habits and socio-economic background.The results of this study indicate fingernails are a suitable material for biomonitoring of PFCs environmental exposure.However,the levels determined in the fingernail samples need to be first evaluated with regard to the levels determined in other samples,such as human serum.XU Lei LIU Wei JIN YiHe 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,33:4
4Preliminary Results of Tomography from Permanent Stations in the Anhui Airgun Experiment显示文摘In order to explore the ability of airgun sources in imaging the crustal structure,we conducted an experiment along the Yangzte River at the section from Ma 'anshan to Anqing using an offshore airgun source( referred as the Anhui Airgun Experiment).During the experiment,the airgun source was fired 2973 times at 20 multiple shot points,while 109 permanent stations and 700 temporary stations( 11 profiles) were used to record the signal. For 20 multiple shot points,we picked up 335 P-wave arrivals at 52 permanent stations. Then we obtained the P-wave velocity structure of the crust beneath the southern tip of the Tancheng-Lujiang( Tan-Lu) fault. The preliminary result of P-wave velocity structure confirms the possibility of 3D body wave imaging using large volume airgun sources. The imaged velocity heterogeneity at a depth of 15 km is correlated to the geological settings. 5Heterogeneous Mg isotopic composition of the early Carboniferous limestone: implications for carbonate as a seawater archive显示文摘Carbonate precipitation and hydrothermal reaction are the two major processes that remove Mg from seawater.Mg isotopes are significantly(up to 5%)fractionated during carbonate precipitation by preferential incorporation of ^(24)Mg,while hydrothermal reactions are associated with negligible Mg isotope fractionation by preferential sequestration of^( 26)Mg.Thus,the marine Mg cycle could be reflected by seawater Mg isotopic composition(δ^(26)Mg_(sw)),which might be recorded in marine carbonate.However,carbonates are both texturally and compositionally heterogeneous,and it is unclear which carbonate component is the most reliable for reconstructing δ^(26)Mg_(sw).In this study,we measured Mg isotopic compositions of limestone samples collected from the early Carboniferous Huangjin Formation in South China.Based on petrographic studies,four carbonate components were recognized:micrite,marine cement,brachiopod shell,and mixture.The four components had distinct δ^(26)Mg:(1)micrite samples ranged from -2.86% to -2.97%;(2)pure marine cements varied from -3.40% to -3.54%,while impure cement samples containing small amount of Rugosa coral skeletons showed a wider range(-3.27% to-3.75%);(3)values for the mixture component were-3.17% and -3.49%;and (4)brachiopod shells ranged from -2.20% to -3.07%,with the thickened hinge area enriched in ^( 24)Mg.Due to having multiple carbonate sources,neither the micrite nor the mixture component could be used to reconstruct δ^(26)Mg_(sw).In addition,the marine cement was homogenous in Mg isotopes,but lacking the fractionation by inorganic carbonate precipitation that is prerequisite for the accurate determination of δ^(26)Mg_(sw).Furthermore,brachiopod shells had heterogeneous C and Mg isotopes,suggesting a significant vital effect during growth.Overall,the heterogeneous δ^(26)Mg of the Huangjin limestone makes it difficult to reconstruct δ^(26)Mg_(sw)using bulk carbonate/calcareous sediments.Finally,δ^(26)Mg_(sw)was only slightly affected by the faunal composition of carbonate-secreting organisms,even though biogenic carbonate accounts for more than 90% of marine carbonate production in Phanerozoic oceans and there is a wide range(0.2%–4.8%)of fractionation during biogenic carbonate formation.Haoran Ma Yihe Xu Kangjun Huang Yuanlin Sun Shan Ke Yang Peng Xianguo Lang Zhen Yan Bing Shen 2018Acta Geochimica2018,37,1:3
6Characteristics of Airgun Signals Excited in the Yangtze River from Analysis of Data from Permanent Stations显示文摘The Anhui Experiment, a pilot experiment of 'Yangtze River Geoscience Project 'conducted in October,2015,is a large active-source experiment using airgun sources. It was the first 3-dimensional seismic survey with active sources in the Yangtze River. The sources are airguns in 20 fixed shot points,and the observation system consists mainly of109 permanent stations and 11 wide-angle profiles. Using the data from permanent stations,we investigated the seismic signals generated by airgun sources in the Yangtze River. The results show that the airgun signals are observable in the records from permanent stations to a maximum distance of 300 km. Further analysis on absolute amplitude of airgun signals shows that:( 1) the strength of airgun signals is of the order of10 nm at 50 km away from the source,and then,decreases significantly to less than 1nm at 200 km;( 2) an azimuthal anisotropy is observed in spatial distribution of the strength of airgun signals,which may be related to the geometry of Yangtze River; and( 3) a low ambient noise level is essential for retrieving weak airgun signals from the records,and the high-quality China National Seismic Network and regional networks offer a great opportunity to retrieving airgun signals with amplitude as small as nanometers.Xu Yihe Wang Baoshan Wang Weitao 2016Earthquake Research in China2016,30,3:1
7Some Thoughts on the Earthquake Science Experimental Site——The Underground Cloud Map显示文摘The Western Yunnan Earthquake Predication Test Site set up jointly by the China Earthquake Administration,the National Science Foundation Commission of America,and United States Geological Survey has played an important role in development of early earthquake research work in China. Due to various objective reasons, most of the predicted targets in the earthquake prediction test site have not been achieved,and the development has been hindered. In recent years, the experiment site has been reconsidered,and renamed the 'Earthquake Science Experimental Site'. Combined with the current development of seismology and the practical needs of disaster prevention and mitigation,we propose adding the 'Underground Cloud Map'as the new direction of the experimental site. Using highly repeatable, environmentally friendly and safe airgun sources,we could send constant seismic signals,which realizes continuous monitoring of subsurface velocity changes. Utilizing the high-resolution 3-D crustal structure from ambient noise tomography,we could obtain 4-D (3-D space+1-D time) images of subsurface structures, which we termed the 'Underground Cloud Map'. 10Multi-Scheme Corrected Dynamic–Analogue Prediction of Summer Precipitation in Northeastern China Based on BCC_CSM显示文摘Based on summer precipitation hindcasts for 1991–2013 produced by the Beijing Climate Center Climate System Model(BCC_CSM), the relationship between precipitation prediction error in northeastern China(NEC) and global sea surface temperature is analyzed, and dynamic–analogue prediction is carried out to improve the summer precipitation prediction skill of BCC_CSM, through taking care of model historical analogue prediction error in the real-time output. Seven correction schemes such as the systematic bias correction, pure statistical correction, dynamic–analogue correction, and so on, are designed and compared. Independent hindcast results show that the 5-yr average anomaly correlation coefficient(ACC) of summer precipitation is respectively improved from –0.13/0.15 to 0.16/0.24 for 2009–13/1991–95 when using the equally weighted dynamic–analogue correction in the BCC_CSM prediction,which takes the arithmetical mean of the correction based on regional average error and that on grid point error. 14A novel method for reconstruction in laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy:an experience of 13 cases显示文摘Laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy(LPD)is a challenging operation to general surgeon.Up to date,only about 135 cases have been reported,16 cases in China,119 cases outside China.The reconstruction of alimentary system is a key procedure to ensure success of the whole surgery.It is worth investigating the methods of reconstruc-tion in LPD.A retrospective study is made to investigate the methods of reconstruction in LPD.We analyze 13 cases of LPD performed in our center.Child’s or modified Child’s method was used to make the reconstruction in our practice.We tried three methods to make the anastomosis of pancre-aticojejunostomy,including end-to-end dunking binding pancreaticojejunostomy in two cases,end-to-end dunking pancreaticojejunostomy using interrupted suture in two cases,and duct-to-jejunal end-to-side embedding pancreaticojeju-nostomy in nine cases.The clinical data was collected and analyzed.Three of four patients,who underwent end-to-end pancreaticojejunostomy,had a little pancreatic leakage,especially in the first case.None of other nine patients,who underwent duct-to-jejunal end-to-side embedding pancreati-cojejunostomy,was detected to have pancreatic leakage,and the operating time of these nine cases was less than other four cases.Duct-to-jejunal end-to-side embedding pancreaticoje-junostomy is a safe and efficient method of reconstruction in LPD.LU Bangyu HUANG Yubin CAI Xiaoyong HUANG Fei LI Jie LU Wenqi XU Jing LIU Zujun YAN Yihe LI Jianjun 2007Frontiers of Medicine2007,1,4:1

17Recent advances in recyclable thermosets and thermoset composites based on covalent adaptable networks显示文摘Recyclable thermosets and thermoset composites with covalent adaptable networks(CANs,or dynamic covalent networks) have attracted considerable attention in recent years due to the combined merits of excellent mechanical and thermal properties,and chemical stabilities of traditional thermosets and recyclable,remoldable,and reprocessable attributes of thermoplastics.In this paper,we present an overview of the current strategies for synthesizing recyclable thermosets based on CANs,which involve recyclability,reprocessability,and possible rehealability.The recent literature examples are categorized based on the underlying controlled-cleavable linkages such as transesterification,DA/retro-DA chemistry,imine bonds,disulfide metathesis,dynamic B-O bonds,hemiaminals/hexahydrotriazines,and acetal linkages.Various degradation and malleability methods and resulting mechanical properties of the recycled thermosets and thermoset composites are presented.The emerging applications of recyclable thermosets and thermoset composites,with emphasis on their usage in adhesives,biomedical materials,wearable devices,coatings,and 3D printing materials,are also illustrated.Finally,a perspective on the challenges and future perspectives is briefly summarized.Yihe Zhang Li Zhang Guotao Yang Yalin Yao Xu Wei Tianchi Pan Juntao Wu Moufeng Tian Penggang Yin 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,33:1
18Saddlepoint Approximation Method in Reliability Analysis:A Review显示文摘The escalating need for reliability analysis(RA)and reliability-based design optimization(RBDO)within engineering challenges has prompted the advancement of saddlepoint approximationmethods(SAM)tailored for such problems.This article offers a detailed overview of the general SAM and summarizes the method characteristics first.Subsequently,recent enhancements in the SAM theoretical framework are assessed.Notably,the mean value first-order saddlepoint approximation(MVFOSA)bears resemblance to the conceptual framework of the mean value second-order saddlepoint approximation(MVSOSA);the latter serves as an auxiliary approach to the former.Their distinction is rooted in the varying expansion orders of the performance function as implemented through the Taylor method.Both the saddlepoint approximation and third-moment(SATM)and saddlepoint approximation and fourth-moment(SAFM)strategies model the cumulant generating function(CGF)by leveraging the initial random moments of the function.Although their optimal application domains diverge,each method consistently ensures superior relative precision,enhanced efficiency,and sustained stability.Every method elucidated is exemplified through pertinent RA or RBDO scenarios.By juxtaposing them against alternative strategies,the efficacy of these methods becomes evident.The outcomes proffered are subsequently employed as a foundation for contemplating prospective theoretical and practical research endeavors concerning SAMs.The main purpose and value of this article is to review the SAM and reliability-related issues,which can provide some reference and inspiration for future research scholars in this field.Debiao Meng Yipeng Guo Yihe Xu Shiyuan Yang Yongqiang Guo Lidong Pan Xinkai Guo 2024Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2024,139,6:0

20The Quantitative Identification of Regional Mine and Natural Earthquakes and Its Application显示文摘Earthquake Administration of Liaoning Province, Shenyang 100031, China Based on the Morlet wavelet transform and digital data from the Fushun and Beizhen seismic stations, Liaoning Province, we put forward a new method in the paper, called time-frequency energy attenuation factor (α-value). The characteristics of the α-value and its variation with magnitude of natural and mine earthquakes are studied, and the statistic relations between the α-value and specific earthquake magnitude are obtained. From the results, some conclusions can be drawn as follows: (1) in general, the α-values of mine and natural earthquakes of the same intensity have obvious difference and the ranges of their variation do not overlap each other; (2) the α-value decreases with the increase of earthquake magnitude, and the α-value of mine earthquake decreases faster than that of natural earthquake; (3) based on the earthquake magnitude and on the relations between the α-value and earthquake magnitude, we can distinguish the mine earthquakes from the natural ones; (4) the difference in focal mechanism of mine and natural earthquakes would be the main cause for obvious difference of the α-value; (5) the α-value variation is relatively steady for mine and natural earthquakes that occur in the same region, but it has obvious regional difference.
