| 1 | 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). | 2 | Relations between oxygen stable isotopic ratios in precipitation and relevant meteorological factors in southwest China显示文摘The correlations of isotopic ratios in precipitation with temperature, air pressure and humidity at dif- ferent altitudes, in southwest China, are analyzed. There appear marked negative correlations for the δ 18O in precipitation with precipitation amount, vapor pressure and atmospheric precipitable water (PW) at Mengzi, Simao and Tengchong stations on synoptic timescale; the marked negative correlations between the δ 18O in precipitation and the diurnal mean temperature at 400 hPa, 500 hPa, 700 hPa and 850 hPa are different from the temperature effect in middle-high-latitude inland. Moreover, the notable positive correlation between the δ 18O in precipitation and the dew-point deficit △Td at different altitudes is found at the three stations. On annual timescale, the annual precipitation amount weighted mean δ 18O display the negative correlations not only with annual precipitation but also with annual mean temperature at 500 hPa. It can be deduced that, in the years with abnormally strong summer monsoon, more warm and wet air from low-latitude oceans is transported northward along the vapor channel located in southwest China and generates abnormally strong rainfall on the way. Meanwhile, the ab- normally strong condensation process will release more condensed latent heat into atmosphere, and lead to the rise of atmospheric temperature during rainfall, but decline of the δ 18O in precipitation. | 3 | Reliability-based Robust Optimization Design of Automobile Components with Non-normal Distribution Parameters显示文摘In the reliability designing procedure of the vehicle components, when the distribution styles of the random variables are unknown or non-normal distribution, the result evaluated contains great error or even is wrong if the reliability value R is larger than 1 by using the existent method, in which case the formula is necessary to be revised. This is obviously inconvenient for programming. Combining reliability-based optimization theory, robust designing method and reliability based sensitivity analysis, a new method for reliability robust designing is proposed. Therefore the influence level of the designing parameters' changing to the reliability of vehicle components can be obtained. The reliability sensitivity with respect to design parameters is viewed as a sub-objective function in the multi-objective optimization problem satisfying reliability constraints. Given the first four moments of basic random variables, a fourth-moment technique and the proposed optimization procedure can obtain reliability-based robust design of automobile components with non-normal distribution parameters accurately and quickly. By using the proposed method, the distribution style of the random parameters is relaxed. Therefore it is much closer to the actual reliability problems. The numerical examples indicate the following: (1) The reliability value obtained by the robust method proposed increases (>0.04%) comparing to the value obtained by the ordinary optimization algorithm; (2) The absolute value of reliability-based sensitivity decreases (>0.01%), and the robustness of the products' quality is improved accordingly. | 4 | Solvent de binding of water soluble binder in powder injection moulding显示文摘The solvent debinding of water soluble binder in powder injection moulding (MIM) was investigated systematically, including the effects of solvent types, temperature and the thickness of green parts on the solvent debinding rate. After studying the debinding of a green part with a thickness of 4.26 mm, it was found that, the debinding rate of polyethylene glycol(PEG) in water and alcohol was high initially, and then decreased; however, it would increase with temperature increasing. At room temperature, the dissolution rate of PEG in water was higher than that in alcohol, but the latter would be much faster with temperature increasing because the debinding activation energy in alcohol was 51.44 kJ·mol -1 ·K -1 , much higher than 24.23 kJ·mol -1 ·K -1 in water. | 5 | Reliability Sensitivity-based Correlation Coefficient Calculation in Structural Reliability Analysis显示文摘The correlation coefficients of random variables of mechanical structures are generally chosen with experience or even ignored,which cannot actually reflect the effects of parameter uncertainties on reliability.To discuss the selection problem of the correlation coefficients from the reliability-based sensitivity point of view,the theory principle of the problem is established based on the results of the reliability sensitivity,and the criterion of correlation among random variables is shown.The values of the correlation coefficients are obtained according to the proposed principle and the reliability sensitivity problem is discussed.Numerical studies have shown the following results:(1) If the sensitivity value of correlation coefficient ρ is less than(at what magnitude 0.000 01),then the correlation could be ignored,which could simplify the procedure without introducing additional error.(2) However,as the difference between ρs,that is the most sensitive to the reliability,and ρR,that is with the smallest reliability,is less than 0.001,ρs is suggested to model the dependency of random variables.This could ensure the robust quality of system without the loss of safety requirement.(3) In the case of |Eabs|ρ0.001 and also |Erel|ρ0.001,ρR should be employed to quantify the correlation among random variables in order to ensure the accuracy of reliability analysis.Application of the proposed approach could provide a practical routine for mechanical design and manufactory to study the reliability and reliability-based sensitivity of basic design variables in mechanical reliability analysis and design. | YANG Zhou ZHANG Yimin ZHANG Xufang HUANG Xianzhen | 2012 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2012,25,3: | 11 |
| 6 | Effect of biomass addition on the surface and adsorption characterization of carbon-based adsorbents from sewage sludge显示文摘Sewage sludge with the additive corn cob was used as prescusor to prepare sludge-based carbon adsorbents by pyrolysis method. And then, the carbonizated products were activated with potassium hydroxide. The mixing ratio of the corn cob to sewage sludge was investigated. The surface area and pore size distribution, elemental composition, surface chemistry structure and the surface physical morphology were determined and compared. The results demonstrated that the addition of corn cob into the sewage sludge sample could effectively improve the surface area (from 287 to 591 m 2 /g) and the microporosity (from 5% to 48%) of the carbon based adsorbent, thus enhancing the adsorption behavior. The sulfur dioxide adsorption capacity was measured according to breakthrough test. It was found that the sulfur dioxide adsorption capacity of the adsorbents was obviously enhanced after the addition of the corn cob. The loop closure equations are used to estimate the kinematic performance errors of planar mechanisms. Reliability and system reliability theories are introduced to develop the limit state functions (LSF) for failure of kinematic performance qualities. The statistical fourth moment method and the Edgeworth series technique are used on system reliability analysis for kinematic performance of planar mechanisms, which relax the restrictions of probability distribution of design variables. | 10 | The Damage Patterns of Retinal Nerve Fiber Layer in Acute and Chronic Intraocular Pressure Elevation in Primary Angle Closure Glaucoma显示文摘Purpose:To observe the differences of damage patterns of retinal nerve fiber layer(RNFL) between acute and chronic intraocular pressure(IOP) elevation in primary angle closure glaucoma.(PACG).using optical coherence tomography(OCT).Methods:Twenty four patients(48 eyes) with unilateral acute PACG(APACG) attack in the 6 months after remission and 36 patients(64 eyes) with chronic PACG(CPACG) were included in this prospective study.For all cases,IOP has been controlled less than 21 mmHg after treatment.Using stratus OCT,the RNFL thickness was assessed in eyes with PACG within 3 days,2 weeks,1,3 and 6 months after IOP controlled.Repeated measures ANOVA was used to examine the time course of changes after IOP controlled in RNFL thickness in both acute attack and unaffected fellow eyes of APACG and eyes with CPACG.Results:The mean RNFL thickness(μm) for the APACG-attacked eyes increased significantly within 3 days.(121.49±23.84).after acute strike and then became thinner along with time.(107.22±24.72 at 2 week,93.58±18.37 at 1 month,84.10±19.89 at 3 months and 78.98±19.17 at 6 months).In APACG-attacked eyes,there were significant differences of average RNFL thickness among 5 different times after IOP was controlled(P<0.001).In the APACG unaffected fellow eyes and CPACG eyes,there were no significant differences in mean RNFL thickness among 5 different times(F=0.450,P=0.104 in APACG unaffected fellow eyes and F=1.558,P=0.200 in CPACG eyes).There was significant difference for interaction between time periods and groups(F=1.912,P= 0.003).Conclusion:RNFL damage patterns are different under different IOP elevated courses.In APACG,RNFL was found to be swollen and thickening right after acute attack and then becomes thinning and atrophy along with the time,while RNFL was found to be diffused thinness in CPACG. | Xing Liu Mei Li Yimin Zhong Hui Xiao Jingjing Huang Zhen Mao | 2011 | Eye Science2011,26,3: | 8 |

| 12 | A fundamental theorem for eco-environmental surface modelling and its applications显示文摘We propose a fundamental theorem for eco-environmental surface modelling(FTEEM) in order to apply it into the fields of ecology and environmental science more easily after the fundamental theorem for Earth’s surface system modeling(FTESM). The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei(BTH) region is taken as a case area to conduct empirical studies of algorithms for spatial upscaling, spatial downscaling, spatial interpolation, data fusion and model-data assimilation, which are based on high accuracy surface modelling(HASM), corresponding with corollaries of FTEEM. The case studies demonstrate how eco-environmental surface modelling is substantially improved when both extrinsic and intrinsic information are used along with an appropriate method of HASM. Compared with classic algorithms, the HASM-based algorithm for spatial upscaling reduced the root-meansquare error of the BTH elevation surface by 9 m. The HASM-based algorithm for spatial downscaling reduced the relative error of future scenarios of annual mean temperature by 16%. The HASM-based algorithm for spatial interpolation reduced the relative error of change trend of annual mean precipitation by 0.2%. The HASM-based algorithm for data fusion reduced the relative error of change trend of annual mean temperature by 70%. The HASM-based algorithm for model-data assimilation reduced the relative error of carbon stocks by 40%. | 19 | Preparation and characterization of magnetic phase-change microcapsules显示文摘Magnetic microcapsules containing paraffin cores within urea-formaldehyde shells were fabricated utilizing in situ polymerization, with iron nano-particles as magnetic particles. The thermal properties, surface morphologies, magnetic properties and iron nano-particles content of the magnetic phasechange microcapsules were investigated by scanning electronic microscopy (SEM), differential scan- ning calorimetry (DSC), vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM) and inductively coupled plasma quantometry (ICP). The influence of iron nano-particles on morphologies was also considered. The results indicate that the melting point of magnetic phase-change microcapsules is almost identical to that of paraffin. | 20 | The genetic equidistance result:misreading by the molecular clock and neutral theory and reinterpretation nearly half of a century later显示文摘In 1963,Margoliash discovered the unexpected genetic equidistance result after comparing cytochrome c sequences from different species.This finding,together with the hemoglobin analyses of Zuckerkandl and Pauling in 1962,directly inspired the ad hoc molecular clock hypothesis.Unfortunately,however,many biologists have since mistakenly viewed the molecular clock as a genuine reality,which in turn inspired Kimura,King,and Jukes to propose the neutral theory of molecular evolution.Many years of studies have found numerous contradictions to the theory,and few today believe in a universal constant clock.What is being neglected,however,is that the failure of the molecular clock hypothesis has left the original equidistance result an unsolved mystery.In recent years,we fortuitously rediscovered the equidistance result,which remains unknown to nearly all researchers.Incorporating the proven virtues of existing evolutionary theories and introducing the novel concept of maximum genetic diversity,we proposed a more complete hypothesis of evolutionary genetics and reinterpreted the equidistance result and other major evolutionary phenomena.The hypothesis may rewrite molecular phylogeny and population genetics and solve major biomedical problems that challenge the existing framework of evolutionary biology. | HU TaoBo LONG MengPing YUAN DeJian ZHU ZhuBing HUANG YiMin HUANG Shi | 2013 | Science China(Life Sciences)2013,56,3: | 2 |
