1Review of soot measurement in hydrocarbon-air flames显示文摘Soot,which is produced in fuel-rich parts of flames as a result of incomplete combustion of hydrocarbons,is the No.2 contributor to global warming after carbon dioxide.Developing soot measurement techniques is important to understand soot formation mechanism and control soot emission.The various soot measurement techniques,such as thermophoretic sampling par-ticles diagnostics followed by electron microscopy analysis,thermocouple particle densitometry,light extinction,laser-induced incandescence,two-color method,and emission computed tomography,are reviewed in this paper.The measurement principle and application cases of these measurement methods are described in detail.The development trend of soot measurement is to realize the on-line measurement of multi-dimensional distributions of temperature,soot volume fraction,soot particle size and other parameters in hydrocarbon-air flames.Soot measurement techniques suitable for both small flames in laboratories and large-scale flames in industrial combustion devices should be developed.Besides,in some special situations,such as high-pressure,zero gravity and micro-gravity flames,soot measurement also should be provided.LOU Chun,CHEN Chen,SUN YiPeng&ZHOU HuaiChun State Key Laboratory of Coal Combustion,Huazhong University of Science and Technology,Wuhan 430074,China 2010Science China(Technological Sciences)2010,53,8:13
2In situ optical backpropagation training of diffractive optical neural networks显示文摘Training an artificial neural network with backpropagation algorithms to perform advanced machine learning tasks requires an extensive computational process.This paper proposes to implement the backpropagation algorithm optically for in situ training of both linear and nonlinear diffractive optical neural networlks,which enables the acceleration of training speed and improvement in energy efficiency on core computing modules.We demonstrate that the gradient of a loss function with respect to the weights of diffractive layers can be accurately calculated by measuring the forward and backward propagated optical fields based on light reciprocity and phase conjunction principles.The diffractive modulation weights are updated by programming a high-speed spatial light modulator to minimize the error between prediction and target output and perform inference tasks at the speed of light.We numerically validate the effectiveness of our approach on simulated networks for various applications.The proposed in situ optical learning architecture achieves accuracy comparable to in silico training with an electronic computer on the tasks of object dlassification and matrix-vector multiplication,which further allows the diffractive optical neural network to adapt to system imperfections.Also,the self-adaptive property of our approach facilitates the novel application of the network for all-optical imaging through scattering media.The proposed approach paves the way for robust implementation of large-scale difractive neural networks to perform distinctive tasks all-optically.TIANKUANG ZHOU LU FANG TAO YAN JIAMIN WU YIPENG LI JINGTAO FAN HUAQIANG WU XING LIN QIONGHAI DA 2020Photonics Research2020,8,6:11

4Cross-media Hot Topic Auto-tracking Model Based on Semantics and Temporal Context显示文摘As the Internet multimedia information grows explosively, seeking an automatic technology to realize the effective organization and management of crossmedia emergency information is significantly necessary. A novel cross-media hot topic auto-tracking model based on semantics and temporal context is proposed in this paper. According to the semantic correlations of cross-media information, we learn the image visual semantics by the text semantics based on the Latent Dirichlet Allocation probability model, and establish the unified cross-media information description on the same semantic level. Also a semantics-based two-step feature dimension-reduction scheme is proposed to establish the efficient semantic feature space. The self-adaptive learning of topic model is realized to track the dynamic changes in the topic. 5Effect of inhomogeneous broadening on threshold current of GaN-based green laser diodes显示文摘The inhomogeneous broadening parameter and the internal loss of green LDs are determined by experiments and theoretical fitting. It is found that the inhomogeneous broadening plays an important role on the threshold current density of green LDs. The green LD with large inhomogeneous broadening even cannot lase. 7Modern Control Strategies of Doubly-Fed Induction Generator Based Wind Turbine System显示文摘A doubly-fed induction generator(DFIG)based configuration is still preferred by wind turbine manufacturers due to the cost-effective power converter and independent control of the active power and reactive power.To cope with stricter grid codes(e.g.reactive power compensation,low voltage ride-through operation,as well as steady and safe operation during long-term distorted grid),control strategies are continuously evolving.This paper starts with a control strategy using the combined reactive power compensation from both the back-to-back power converters for their optimized lifetime distribution under normal grid conditions.Afterwards,an advanced demagnetizing control is proposed to keep the minimum thermal stress of the rotor-side converter in the case of the short-term grid fault.A modularized control strategy of the DFIG system under unbalanced and distorted grid voltage is discussed,with the control targets of the smooth active and reactive power or the balanced and sinusoidal current of the rotor-side converter and the grid-side converte。Finally,a bandwidth based repetitive controller is evaluated to improve the DFIG system's robustness against grid frequency deviation.Dao Zhou Yipeng Song Frede Blaabjerg 2016Chinese Journal of Electrical Engineering2016,2,1:2
8Fecal microbiota transplantation from young donor mice improves ovarian function in aged mice显示文摘Advanced maternal age is characterized by declines in the quantity and quality of oocytes in the ovaries,and the aging process is accompanied by changes in gut microbiota composition.However,little is known about the relationship between gut microbiota and ovarian aging.By using fecal microbiota transplantation(FMT)to transplant material from young(5-week-old)into aged(42-week-old)mice,we find that the composition of gut microbiota in FMT-treated mice presents a“younger-like phenotype”and an increase of commensal bacteria,such as Bifidobacterium and Ruminococcaceae.Moreover,the FMT-treated mice show increased anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-4 and decreased pro-inflammatory cytokine IFN-γ.Fertility tests for assessing ovarian function reveal that the first litter size of female FMT-treated mice is significantly higher than that of the non-FMT group.Morphology analysis demonstrates a dramatic decrease in follicle atresia and apoptosis as well as an increase in cellular proliferation in the ovaries of the FMT-treated mice.Our results also show that FMT improves the immune microenvironment in aged ovaries,with decreased macrophages and macrophage-derived multinucleated giant cells(MNGCs).These results suggest that FMT from young donors could be a good choice for delaying ovarian aging.Li Xu Qiankun Zhang Xiaowei Dou Yipeng Wang Jianwei Wang Yong Zhou Xingyin Liu Jing Li 2022Journal of Genetics and Genomics2022,49,11:2

12Tailoring the adsorption behavior of superoxide intermediates on nickel carbide enables high-rate Li-O_(2) batteries显示文摘Probing the relationship between the adsorption of superoxide species and the kinetics of Li-O_(2) chemistry is critical for designing superior oxygen electrodes for the Li-O_(2) battery,yet the modulation essence,especially at the atomic level,remains little understood.Herein,we reveal that the adsorption behaviors of superoxide species can be effectively regulated via a core-induced interfacial charge interaction,and we find that moderate adsorption strength can enable superior rate capability in a Li-O_(2) battery.More importantly,operando X-ray absorption near-edge structure and surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy provide tools to monitor in situ the evolution of the superoxide intermediates and the electronic states of the catalyst's metal sites during the discharge and charge processes,and correlate these with the surface adsorption states.The concept of tuning adsorption behavior through interfacial charge engineering could open up new opportunities to further advance the development of the Li-O_(2) battery and beyond.Yun Liu Jinyan Cai Jianbin Zhou Yipeng Zang Xusheng Zheng Zixuan Zhu Bo Liu Gongming Wang Yitai Qian 2022eScience2022,2,4:1

15Gd_(2)O_(3) nanoparticles modified g-C_(3)N_(4) with enhanced photocatalysis activity for degradation of organic pollutants显示文摘Gd_(2) O_(3) nanoparticles modified g-C_(3) N_(4) photocatalytic composites were synthesized by a simple one-step hydrothermal method.The structure,morphology,optical properties of the prepared photocatalyst were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),field emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM),field emission transmission electron microscopy(FETEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The result demonstrates that gadolinium is mainly dispersed on the surface of g-C_(3) N_(4) in the form of Gd_(2) O_(3),and does not destroy the lattice structure of g-C_(3) N_(4).Besides,the gadolinium can cause the red shift of the absorption edge of light,narrow the band gap,and increase the separation efficiency of the photogenerated electron and hole of g-C_(3) N_(4).Especially,the specific surface area of g-C_(3) N_(4) can be significantly increased.Furthermore,g-C_(3) N_(4)/Gd-0.05 displays the highest photodegradation performance when it is used for degradation of methyl orange(MO),methylene blue(MB) and Rhodamine B(RhB).The photodegradation rate of g-C_(3) N_(4)/Gd-0.05 composites is 72.4% for MO,95.5% for RhB,100% for MB after120 min under visible light(λ> 420 nm) irradiation.Narrow band gap promotes the separation of photogenerated electron and hole,which enhances the photocatalytic activity of g-C_(3) N_(4).It is noted that g-C_(3) N_(4)/Gd-0.05 exhibits excellent photocatalytic stability by the photocurrent and the cyclic photodegradation of MO.Yipeng Zhou Fanshan Zeng Chaoyang Sun Jun Wu Yu Xie Fayun Zhang Senlin Rao Fahui Wang Jinbing Zhang Jinsheng Zhao Shiqian Li 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,11:1

19Tuning the concentration of surface/bulk oxygen vacancies in CeO_(2) nanorods to promote highly efficient photodegradation of organic dyes显示文摘To enhance the photodegradation ability of CeO_(2) for organic dyes,an effective strategy is to introduce oxygen vacancies(Vo).In general,the introduced Vo are simultaneously present both on the surface and in the bulk of CeO_(2).The surface oxygen vacancies(Vo-s) can decrease the band gap,thus enhancing light absorption to produce more photogenerated e-for photodegradation.However,the bulk oxygen vacancies(Vo-b) will inhibit photocatalytic activity by increasing the recombination of photogene rated e-and Vo-b.Therefore,regulating the concentrations of Vo-s to Vo-b is a breakthrough for achieving the best utilization of photogene rated e-during photodegradation.We used an easy hydrothermal method to achieve tunable concentrations of Vo-s to Vo-b in CeO_(2) nanorods.The optimized CeO_(2) presents a 70.2%removal of rhodamine B after 120 min of ultraviolet-visible light irradiation,and a superior photodegradation performance of multiple organics.This tuning strategy for Vo also provides guidance for developing other advanced metal-oxide semiconductor photocatalysts for the photodegradation of organic dyes.Zhen Shen Yipeng Zhou Yue Guo Jie Zhao Jianhua Song Yu Xie Yun Ling Wei Zhang 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,8:0
20Blue-emitting Sr_(1-x)Ca_(x)Lu_(2)O_(4):Ce^(3+) phosphors for high CRI white LEDs显示文摘A broadband blue-emitting Sr_(1-x)Ca_(x)Lu_(2)O_(4):Ce^(3+)(x=0-0.2) phospho rs were synthesized,which can be used for near-UV pumped white light-emitting diodes(w-LEDs).The crystal structures,photoluminescence pro perties,external quantum efficiency,the rmal stability and application perfo rmance of Sr_(1-x)Ca_(x)Lu_(2)O_(4):Ce^(3+),by partially substituting Sr^(2+) with Ca^(2+)(x=0-0.2),were studied by various analytical techniques.When the Ca/Sr ratio of Sr_(1-x)Ca_(x)Lu_(2)O_(4):Ce^(3+) gradually increases,the emission peak of Sr_(1-x)Ca_(x)Lu_(2)O_(4):Ce^(3+) red-shiftes from 459 to 465 nm,corrected external quantum efficiency increases from 31.8% to 42.9%,and the thermal stability is also improved.The mechanism of the changes of the photoluminescence emission and excitation spectra,external quantum efficiency and thermal stability properties was also investigated in detail.In addition,a w-LED was fabricated by using SrLu_(2)O_(4):Ce^(3+)(blue),β-sialon:Eu^(2+)(green) and(Sr,Ca)AlSiN_(3):Eu^(2+)(red) phosphors combined with a 405 nm near-UV LED chip,and its color rendering index(CRI) reaches 96.0.When Sr_(0.8)Ca_(0.2)Lu_(2)O_(4):Ce^(3+) is applied as blue phosphor to substitute SrLu_(2)O_(4):Ce^(3+),the obtained w-LED devices have high luminous efficiency,and CRI greater than 95.0.These re sults show that the Sr_(1-x)Ca_(x)Lu_(2)O_(4):Ce^(3+) can be potential blue phosphors for n-UV pumped high CRI w-LEDs application.Yipeng Zhou Yunsheng Hu Ronghui Liu Yuanhong Liu Weidong Zhuang Min Cao Tongyu Gao Junhang Tian Yanfeng Li Guantong Chen 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,6:0
