2Numerical study on two-phase flow through fractured porous media显示文摘Based on the flux equivalent principle of a single fracture,the discrete fracture concept was developed,in which the macroscopic fractures are explicitly described as(n-1)dimensional geometry element.On the fundamental of this simplification,the discrete-fractured model was developed which is suitable for all types of fractured porous media.The principle of discrete-fractured model was introduced in detail,and the general mathematical model was expressed subsequently.The fully coupling discrete-fractured mathematical model was implemented using Galerkin finite element method.The validity and accuracy of the model were shown through the Buckley-Leverett problem in a single fracture.Then the discrete-fractured model was applied to the two different type fractured porous media.The effect of fractures on the water flooding in fractured reservoirs was investigated.The numerical results showed that the fractures made the porous media more heterogeneous and anisotropic,and that the orientation,size,type of fracture and the connectivity of fractures network have important impacts on the two-phase flow.HUANG ZhaoQin YAO Jun WANG YueYing TAO Ke 2011Science China(Technological Sciences)2011,54,9:15
3The application of nanostructured transition metal sulfides as anodes for lithium ion batteries显示文摘With wide application of electric vehicles and large-scale in energy storage systems, the requirement of secondary batteries with higher power density and better safety gets urgent. Owing to the merits of high theoretical capacity, relatively low cost and suitable discharge voltage, much attention has been paid to the transition metal sulfides. Recently, a large amount of research papers have reported about the application of transition metal sulfides in lithium ion batteries. However, the practical application of transition metal sulfides is still impeded by their fast capacity fading and poor rate performance. More well-focused researches should be operated towards the commercialization of transition metal sulfides in lithium ion batteries. In this review, recent development of using transition metal sulfides such as copper sulfides,molybdenum sulfides, cobalt sulfides, and iron sulfides as electrode materials for lithium ion batteries is presented. In addition, the electrochemical reaction mechanisms and synthetic strategy of transition metal sulfides are briefly summarized. 4Gut microbiome alterations and its link to corticosteroid resistance in immune thrombocytopenia显示文摘Quantitative metagenomic studies have linked the gut microbiota to autoimmune disorders.Here,we performed deep shotgun metagenomic sequencing of fecal samples from 99 immune thrombocytopenia(ITP)patients and 52 healthy controls.Dysbiosis in the gut microbiome of ITP was detected phylogenetically and functionally,and classifier based on species markers distinguished individuals with ITP from healthy controls.In particular,the abundance of Ruminococcus gnavus,Bifidobacterium longum and Akkermansia muciniphila was markedly increased in treatment-na?ve ITP patients,and the alterations of microbial species were correlated with clinical indices.Functionally,the secondary bile acid biosynthesis and flagellar assembly were depleted in the gut microbiota of ITP,which may contribute to the onset of ITP by affecting the immune system.Furthermore,we found that corticosteroid treatment affected the gut microbiome of ITP.Compared with corticosteroid-sensitive ITP patients,we identified that the corticosteroid-resistant ITP patients displayed a distinct gut microbiome,which was different from that of the treatment-na?ve ITP patients.Together,we provided support for the critical role of gut microbiota in the development of ITP and established a foundation for further research characterizing gut microbiota in relation to corticosteroid resistance of ITP.Yanan Wang Fengqi Liu Gaochao Zhang Yan Su Xueyan Sun Qi Chen Chencong Wang Haixia Fu Yun He Xiaolu Zhu Xiao Liu Meng Lv Xiangyu Zhao Xiaosu Zhao Yueying Li Qianfei Wang Xiaojun Huang Xiaohui Zhang 2021Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,5:6
5P-wave fracture prediction algorithm using pre-stack data with limited azimuth distribution:A case study in the TZ45 area,Tarim Basin,China显示文摘Fractured reservoirs always show anisotropic amplitude features,i.e.the reflection amplitude of seismic waves varies with offset and azimuth (AVOZ).A noise attenuation fracture inversion algorithm is presented for fracture detection based on P-wave AVOZ.The conventional inversion method always fails when applied to limited azimuth data because of the existence of noise.In our inversion algorithm,special attention is paid to suppressing the noise during inversion,to overcome the limitation of the conventional inversion method on limited azimuth data.Numerical models are employed to illustrate the effectiveness of the method.The inversion algorithm is then applied to Tazhong 45 area field data which is acquired under limited azimuth distribution.Compared with cores and fullbore formation microimage (FMI),the inverted results (fracture density and orientation) are reasonable,suggesting that the inversion algorithm is feasible for fracture prediction in the Tarim Basin.Sam Zandong Sun Wang Zhaoming Yang Haijun Xiao Xi Wang Yueying Chen Lei Yang Pei 2011Petroleum Science2011,8,4:5
6Homoharringtonine synergy with oridonin in treatment of t(8;21) acute myeloid leukemia显示文摘Collaboration of c-KIT mutations with AML1-ETO (AE) has been demonstrated to induce t(8;21) acute myeloid leukemia (AML).Targeted therapies designed to eliminate AE and c-KIT oncoproteins may facilitate effective treatment of t(8;21) AML.Homoharringtonine (HHT) features activity against tumor cells harboring c-KIT mutations,whereas oridonin can induce t(8;21) AML cell apoptosis and AE cleavage.Therefore,studies should explore the efficacy of combination therapy with oridonin and HHT in t(8;21) AML.In this study,we investigated the synergistic effects and mechanism of oridonin combined with HHT in t(8;21) AML cell line and mouse model.The two drugs synergistically inhibited cell viability and induced significant mitochondrial membrane potential loss and apoptosis.Oridonin and HHT induced significant downregulation of c-KIT and its downstream signaling pathways and promoted AE cleavage.HHT increased intracellular oridonin concentration by modulating the expressions of MRP1 and MDR1,thus enhancing the effects of oridonin.The combination of oridonin and HHT prolonged t(8;21) leukemia mouse survival.In conclusion,oridonin and HHT exert synergistic effects against t(8;21) leukemia in vivo and in vitro,thereby indicating that their combination may be an effective therapy for t(8;21) leukemia.Weina Zhang Ying Lu Tao Zhen Xinjie Chen Ming Zhang Ping Liu Xiangqin Weng Bing Chen Yueying Wang 2019Frontiers of Medicine2019,13,3:4
7Effect of the injection pressure and orifice diameter on the spray characteristics of biodiesel显示文摘The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of the injection pressure and orifice diameter on the spray characteristics of soybean biodiesel.The macroscopic spray characteristics of the spray tip penetration(STP)and spray cone angle(SCA)were tested with a high-speed camera system.The microscopic spray characteristics,such as the statistical size distribution,Sauter mean diameter(SMD),representative diameters and dispersion boundary,were obtained using a Malvern laser particle size analyzer(PSA).The test results showed that with an increasing injection pressure,the STP and the SCA of the biodiesel increased,but the curves of size-volume distribution and cumulative volume distribution of the atomized droplets shifted to smaller diameters.The SMD and representative diameters decreased,and the dispersion boundary was reduced.Moreover,with a decreasing orifice diameter,longer STP and smaller SCA values were observed.Similarly,the size distribution curves of the atomized biodiesel droplets shifted to smaller diameters.The SMD and representative diameters were reduced,and the relative size range of the atomized biodiesel droplets was enlarged.Higher injection pressures and smaller orifice diameters improved the biodiesel atomization;however,the smaller orifice diameters caused an inhomogeneous size distribution of the atomized biodiesel droplets.Limin Geng Yanjuan Wang Yueying Wang Huimei Li 2020Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2020,7,3:4
8Fractured reservoir modeling by discrete fracture network and seismic modeling in the Tarim Basin,China显示文摘Fractured reservoirs are an important target for oil and gas exploration in the Tarim Basin and the prediction of this type of reservoir is challenging.Due to the complicated fracture system in the Tarim Basin,the conventional AVO inversion method based on HTI theory to predict fracture development will result in some errors.Thus,an integrated research concept for fractured reservoir prediction is put forward in this paper.Seismic modeling plays a bridging role in this concept,and the establishment of an anisotropic fracture model by Discrete Fracture Network (DFN) is the key part.Because the fracture system in the Tarim Basin shows complex anisotropic characteristics,it is vital to build an effective anisotropic model.Based on geological,well logging and seismic data,an effective anisotropic model of complex fracture systems can be set up with the DFN method.The effective elastic coefficients,and the input data for seismic modeling can be calculated.Then seismic modeling based on this model is performed,and the seismic response characteristics are analyzed.The modeling results can be used in the following AVO inversion for fracture detection.Sam Zandong Sun Zhou Xinyuan Yang Haijun Wang Yueying WangDi Liu Zhishui 2011Petroleum Science2011,8,4:4
9Effect on glycemia in rats with type 2 diabetes induced by streptozotocin: low-frequency electro-pulse needling stimulated Weiwanxiashu(EX-B 3) and Zusanli(ST 36)显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of low frequency electro-pulse acupuncture(EA) on blood glucose in rats with streptozotocin-induced type 2diabetes, and the possible mechanism underlying the action.METHODS: Rat models were established with high fat feeding and intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin(STZ)(30 mg/kg). Rats with a random blood glucose > 16.7 mmol/L and blood glucose at 2 h-point of oral glucose tolerance test(OGTT) > 11.1 mmol/L were included as diabetic rats, and randomly divided into model group, EA Weiwanxiashu(EX-B 3) group, EA Zusanli(ST 36)group, glimepiride group, and EA non-acupoint group(n = 12). EA(2 Hz continuous wave, 2 m A,20 min/day, 6 days/week, 4 weeks) and intra-gastric administration of glimepiride were applied as interventions. With fasting blood glucose and OGTT tested at the end of the intervention, thestudy observed the patterns of hypoglycemic effects. For mechanism study, it observes hematoxylin and eosin staining and Masson staining of pancreas paraffin sections, protein expression of glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor(GLP-1R) in the pancreas and skeletal muscle, glucose transporter 4(GLUT4) protein expression in skeletal muscle membrane, to detect whether EA controls blood glucose via regulation of GLP-1R.RESULTS: EA Weiwanxiashu(EX-B 3) significantly increased model rats' pancreas GLP-1R, and GLUT4 of skeletal muscle membrane; the therapy significantly decreased model rats' skeletal muscle GLP-1R, restored pancreas morphology, and reduced fasting blood glucose and insulin resistance indices.CONCLUSION: EA Weiwanxiashu(EX-B 3) alone has significant effect on glycemia. EA Weiwanxiashu(EX-B 3) plus glimepiride further strengthen the effect. 10Tangnaikang improves insulin resistance and β-cell apoptosis by ameliorating metabolic inflammation in SHR.Cg-Lepr^(cp)/NDmcr rats显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of Tangnaikang(TNK), a mixture of five herbal plant extracts,on inflammation-mediated insulin resistance andβ-cell apoptosis in SHR.Cg-Leprcp/NDmcr(SHR-cp)rats.METHODS: Seven-week-old SHR-cp rats were randomly divided into a control(CON) group and a TNK(3.24 g/kg) group. Wistar-Kyoto rats at the same age were used as the normal control group.After 7 weeks of continuous intragastric administration of TNK, the glucose metabolic status and insulin sensitivity of the rats were evaluated by assessing fasting serum glucose(FBG), the oral glucose tolerance test(OGTT), fasting serum insulin(FINS),and the insulin sensitivity index(ISI). Serum tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), interleukin-6(IL-6), C-reactive protein(CRP) and adiponectin were measured via enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays.Macrophage infiltration and apoptosis in adipose tissues were detected through F4/80 immunohistochemistry and the terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase d UTP nick end labeling(TUNEL) assay. Islet morphology and β-cell apoptosis were investigated using double immunofluorescence staining and the TUNEL assay. The expression of cytokine genes in adipose tissue, the liver, and the pancreas was detected in real-time polymerase chain reaction assays. The expression and phosphorylation levels of insulin signaling-, inflammation-, and β-cell survival-related proteins in the liver and pancreas of SHR-cp rats were detected by western blotting.RESULTS: TNK(3.24 g/kg) treatment significantly decreased body weight, FBG and FINS; improved impaired glucose tolerance; increased the ISI; reduced serum levels of TNF-α, CRP and IL-6; and increased serum adiponectin. The m RNA expression of inflammatory markers was markedly reduced in the liver, pancreas, and adipose tissue. F4/80-and TUNEL-positive cells in adipose tissues were decreased, as was the number of TUNEL-positiveβ-cells. 11Infrared-transmission spectra and hydrogen content of hydrogenated amorphous silicon显示文摘In this paper, two kinds of methods of calculating the hydrogen content of a-Si:H thin film by means of the wagging mode and the stretching modes of infrared-transmission spectra , are investigated. The reason for the difference in these two calculation results is analyzed. If the contents of SiH2 and (SiH2)n are indicated in terms of a structure factor F=(I840+I880)/I2000, it is shown that the calculation results obtained from the two different methods are almost equal when the refractive index n is approximately 3.4 or the fitting thickness is between 0.71 and 0.89 mm in the case of a small F. It is shown that the ways of fabrication of thin film can influence silicon-hydrogen bonding configuration of a-Si:H film, and different ways of fabrication can lead to different contents of SiH2 and (SiH2)n. The uniformity of the thin film with a big F is bad. In this case, there is great difference between the thickness measured by the SurfCom408A surface profile apparatus and the thickness obtained by fitting the fringes; and the hydrogen contents of a-Si:H films obtained by means of the wagging mode and the stretching modes are different, too. Mang,Yizhang,Hunan,China(Zhao and Chen,1990). However,due to poor preservation,the holotype of P. mangshanensis is considerably damaged and cannot presently be used. 14Effect of daidzein on milk yield,components of milk and hormones in serum of dairy cows显示文摘Four Holstein dairy cows in the 7th month of late lactation were sampled, and self-control method was used. Daidzein was added to the concentrated feed at the dose of 10mg/kg during the treatment stage. Results showed that daidzein lessened the declining tendency of milk yield in late lactation and increased the milk yield to some extents. Lactoprotein was evidently increased (P<0.01), while milkfat was not affected evidently. The level of T4 in serum was evidently increased (P<0.05); the levels of GH, PRL, E2 and TSH in serum were prone to rising while T3 was prone to decreasing . 15Bioassay-Guided Extraction of Crude Fucose-Containing Sulphated Polysaccharides from Sargassum fusiforme with Response Surface Methodology显示文摘The response surface methodology(RSM) combined with bioassays was employed to optimize the extraction process of crude fucose-containing sulphated polysaccharides(c FCSP) from Sargassum fusiforme. The central composite design(CCD) was used with four variables, five levels, and four responses. The four variables were p H value of hydrochloric acid solution, extraction temperature(℃), ratio of liquid to raw material(m L g^(-1)), and extraction time(h), respectively. Chemical and bioassay indices were used in combination as the response parameters, which included the yield of c FCSP, fucose content, proliferation rate of spleen cells, and lipopolysaccharide-induced proliferation of splenocytes. The experimental data were fitted to a second-order polynomial equation using multiple regression analysis, and examined using the appropriate statistical methods. The best extraction conditions were as follows: the p H value of hydrochloric acid solution was 3.50; the extraction temperature was 100℃; the ratio of liquid to raw material was 15.00 m L g^(-1) and the extraction time was 2.50 h. The experimental yield was close to the predicted from the model. The extract could promote spleen lymphocyte proliferation, especially the lipopolysaccharide-induced lymphocyte proliferation in vitro, which suggested that its immunomodulatory effect on B lymphocytes. 16Effect of elicitors, precursors and metabolic inhibitors on paclitaxel production by Taxus cuspidata cell culture显示文摘In this study, using Taxus cuspidata as a raw material, we obtained stable high-yielding cell lines by subculturing and quantified paclitaxel content using ultrasonic extraction combined with TLC–UV spectrophotometry. In single factor and multiple factors tests to optimize design and study the effects of elicitors, precursors, and metabolic inhibitors on paclitaxel production by Taxus cuspidata cells, paclitaxel production reached 4.32 mg/L when 100 lmol/L methyl jasmonate, 20 mg/L salicylic acid, 400 mg/L phenylalanine and 2 mg/L gibberellin(GA_3) were added to the culture medium of suspension cells. When adding metabolic adjustment factors on the 7th day of culture, extra- and intracellular paclitaxel production was the highest at 4.855 mg/L, paclitaxel release rate was 10.48 %, fresh mass and paclitaxel production of cell increased, respectively, by 6.08 and 11.57 %. 18Single-cell Transcriptomic Analysis Reveals the Cellular Heterogeneity of Mesenchymal Stem Cells显示文摘Ex vivo-expanded mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)have been demonstrated to be a heterogeneous mixture of cells exhibiting varying proliferative,multipotential,and immunomodulatory capacities.However,the exact characteristics of MSCs remain largely unknown.By singlecell RNA sequencing of 61,296 MSCs derived from bone marrow and Wharton’s jelly,we revealed five distinct subpopulations.The developmental trajectory of these five MSC subpopulations was mapped,revealing a differentiation path from stem-like active proliferative cells(APCs)to multipotent progenitor cells,followed by branching into two paths:1)unipotent preadipocytes or 2)bipotent prechondro-osteoblasts that were subsequently differentiated into unipotent prechondrocytes.The stem-like APCs,expressing the perivascular mesodermal progenitor markers CSPG4/MCAM/NES,uniquely exhibited strong proliferation and stemness signatures.Remarkably,the prechondrocyte subpopulation specifically expressed immunomodulatory genes and was able to suppress activated CD3^(+T) cell proliferation in vitro,supporting the role of this population in immunoregulation.In summary,our analysis mapped the heterogeneous subpopulations of MSCs and identified two subpopulations with potential functions in self-renewal and immunoregulation.Our findings advance the definition of MSCs by identifying the specific functions of their heterogeneous cellular composition,allowing for more specific and effective MSC application through the purification of their functional subpopulations.Chen Zhang Xueshuai Han Jingkun Liu Lei Chen Ying Lei Kunying Chen Jia Si Tian-yi Wang Hui Zhou Xiaoyun Zhao Xiaohui Zhang Yihua An Yueying Li Qian-Fei Wang 2022Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2022,20,1:2
19Motion Characteristics of the Appendages of Mole Crickets during Burrowing显示文摘Mole crickets,Gryllotalpa orientalis,have a pair of fully specialized forelegs for burrowing and employ an efficient underground excavating pattern,which provides excellent biological example for design of bionic underground excavation equipment.In this study,the excavating pattern and kinematic features of mole crickets were obtained by using high-speed motion capture system and employing a transparent hydrogel as the analogue for soil.The two-dimensional motion characteristics of the forelegs of mole crickets during burrowing were captured and analyzed.The results show that the forelegs of the mole cricket employ a unique excavating pattern,which consists of foreword digging and horizontal expansion.We label this pattern a digging-expanding mode.An excavating cycle includes the digging and expanding motion of the forelegs,rotation caused by the midlegs and hindlegs,and forward thrust by the hindlegs.The excavating motion of the left and right forelegs is alternately carried out.This study can inspire the design of bionic tunnelling mechanisms and underground excavation equipment.Yan Zhang Jiafeng Cao Qi Wang Pengfei Wang Yueying Zhu Junxia Zhang 2019Journal of Bionic Engineering2019,16,2:1
20QoE-Aware Proportional Fair Scheduling for Multiuser Multiservice Wireless Networks显示文摘The effective radio resource allocation algorithms,which satisfy diversiform requirements of mobile multimedia services in wireless cellular networks,have recently attracted more and more attention.This paper proposes a service-aware scheduling algorithm,in which the Mean Opinion Score (MOS) is chosen as the unified metric of the Quality of Experience (QoE).As the network needs to provide satisfactory services to all the users,the fairness of QoE should be considered.The Proportional Fair (PF) principle is adopted to achieve the trade-off between the network performance and user fairness.Then,an integer programming problem is formed and the QoE-aware PF scheduling principle is derived by solving the relaxed problem.Simulation results show that the proposed scheduling principle can perform better in terms of user fairness than the previous principle maximizing the sum of MOS.It also outperforms the max-min scheduling principle in terms of average MOS.Wu Wenjun Zhang Yingkai Zhang Yueying Zheng Karl Wang Wenbo 2012China Communications2012,9,9:1
