1Spinal Cord Stimulation Frequency Influences the Hemodynamic Response in Patients with Disorders of Consciousness显示文摘Spinal cord stimulation(SCS) is a promising technique for treating disorders of consciousness(DOCs).However, differences in the spatio-temporal responsiveness of the brain under varied SCS parameters remain unclear. In this pilot study, functional near-infrared spectroscopy was used to measure the hemodynamic responses of 10 DOC patients to different SCS frequencies(5 Hz, 10 Hz, 50 Hz, 70 Hz, and 100 Hz). In the prefrontal cortex, a key area in consciousness circuits, we found significantly increased hemodynamic responses at 70 Hz and 100 Hz, and significantly different hemodynamic responses between 50 Hz and 70 Hz/100 Hz. In addition, the functional connectivity between prefrontal and occipital areas was significantly improved with SCS at 70 Hz. 4Brain Network Studies in Chronic Disorders of Consciousness:Advances and Perspectives显示文摘Neuroimaging has opened new opportunities to study the neural correlates of consciousness, and provided additional information concerning diagnosis, prognosis, and therapeutic interventions in patients with disorders of consciousness. Here, we aim to review neuroimaging studies in chronic disorders of consciousness from the viewpoint of the brain network, focusing on positron emission tomography, functional MRI, functional near-infrared spectroscopy,electrophysiology, and diffusion MRI. 5CNT@MnO_(2) composite ink toward a flexible 3D printed micro-zinc-ion battery显示文摘Flexible energy storage devices have played a significant role in multiscenario applications,while flexible zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs),as an essential branch,have developed rapidly in recent years.Three-dimensional(3D)printing is an extremely advanced technology to design and modify the structure of batteries and provides unlimited possibilities for the diversified development of energy storage equipment.Herein,by utilizing 3D printing technology,carbon nanotube(CNT)is coated by MnO_(2) to form a flexible CNT@MnO_(2) ink as a cathode for flexible aqueous micro-ZIBs for the first time and zinc powder ink is used as an anode due to its high flexibility and bendability.The Zn//CNT@MnO_(2) flexible battery shows a stable capacity of 63μAh cm^(−2) at 0.4mA cm^(−2).When the battery is bent in different states,the maximum capacity loss compared with the initial value is only 2.72%,indicating its stability.This study shows the potential of 3D printing technology in the development of flexible manganese-based ZIBs.Yujin Ren Fanbo Meng Siwen Zhang Bu Ping Hui Li Bosi Yin Tianyi Ma 2022Carbon Energy2022,4,3:5

7Seasonal variations and bioavailability of inorganic phosphorus in soils of Yeyahu Wetland in Beijing,China显示文摘Phosphorus(P) in soils has an important influence on the development and productivity of wetland. The objective of this study was to investigate the distribution,bioavailability and seasonal variations of inorganic phosphorus(IP) in soils of Yeyahu Wetland.The results showed that the concentration of Ca-bound P(Ca-P) remained the main occurrence in all IP fractions despite the season,at the same time the Al-bound P(Al-P) was always the lowest IP fraction despite the season.Al-P and Fe-bound P (Fe-P) concentration were all reached the highest value in May and the lowest in November,which was opposite to the occluded P(Oc-P) fraction.The notable higher Oc-P concentration in November observed in this study was probably due to the decomposition of plants and the subsequently releasing of oxides to soils.Ca-P didn't change much with season variations.Exchangeable P(Ex-P) and Oc-P were all positively correlated with soil moisture content and organic matter content,but Al-P was negatively correlated with these two soil properties.As a stable form,Ca-P was not associated with soil properties.Al-P,Fe-P and Ca-P might contribute to the storage of P in studied wetland with the principle component analysis results.The concentration rank order of the bio-available P in soils was generally as follows:Olsen-P > Algal available P(AAP) > Water soluble P(WSP) > Readily desorbed P(RDP).Olsen-P was positively correlated with Ex-P and Oc-P,and it was thought to be a more suitable indicator for bio-available P in soils.ZHANG Jing LI Min LIU Shuang LIU Yujin ZHANG Liqiang CAO Qi SUN Dezhi 2011International Journal of Sediment Research2011,26,2:4
8Geochemical Characteristics and Geological Significance of Meta-Volcanic Rocks of the Bainaimiao Group, Sonid Right Banner, Inner Mongolia, China显示文摘The Bainaimiao Group, which crops out in the Sonid Right Banner area of Inner Mongolia, China, comprises mainly metamorphosed volcano-sedimentary rocks. This group can be divided into two formations: a lower formation characterized by intermediate-felsic volcanic rocks, and an upper formation of intermediate-mafic volcanic rocks. Zircon dating indicates that biotite leptynite from the lower formation and chlorite-sericite schist from the upper formation crystallized at 499±2 and 478±2 Ma, respectively, corresponding to different volcanic events. Meta-volcanic rocks of the Bainaimiao Group belong to the calcalkaline series, and the SiO2 concentrations suggest that their protoliths were mainly basalts and rhyolites. Greenschist rocks of the group are enriched in light rare earth elements(LREEs) relative to heavy rare earth elements(HREEs), with(La/Yb)N ratios of 3.08–10.9. In addition, they are enriched in large-ion lithophile elements, including Rb, Ba and K, and depleted in the high-field-strength elements Nb, Ta and Ti. The felsic meta-volcanic rocks also exhibit relative enrichments in LREEs compared with HREEs, with high(La/Yb)N ratios of 2.92–9.89, and are enriched in Rb, Ba, Zr and Hf, and depleted in Sr, Nb and Ta. These geochemical characteristics indicate that the meta-basic volcanic rocks were originated from partial melting of sub-arc mantle wedge that had been previously metasomatized by subducted-slab-derived fluids, whereas the meta-felsic volcanic rocks were generated by partial melting of continental crust. 9Densification,microstructure and mechanical properties of multicomponent(TiZrHfNbTaMo)C ceramic prepared by pressureless sintering显示文摘A multicomponent(TiZrHfNbTaMo)C ceramic has been fabricated by pressureless sintering at temperatures from 2100℃to 2500℃,using an equimolar multicomponent carbide powder synthesized by carbothermal reduction as the starting material.Influence of sintering temperature on densification,microstructure and mechanical properties of the ceramics was investigated.The relative density increases with increasing sintering temperature,and a nearly fully dense sample is achieved by pressureless sintering at 2500℃.Average grain size increases from 3.7 to 15.2μm with increasing sintering temperature from 2300 to 2500℃.The(TiZrHfNbTaMo)C ceramic sintered at 2400℃exhibits a single phase fcc structure with homogeneous chemical composition,an average grain size of 7.0μm and a relative density of96.5%,while its measured hardness is 33.2 GPa at 100 mN and 23.2 GPa at 9.8 N.Wen Zhang Lei Chen Chenguang Xu Wenyu Lu Yujin Wang Jiahu Ouyang Yu Zhou 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,13:4
10Genome-Wide Identification, Characterization, and Expression Analysis of Calmodulin-Like Proteins(CMLs) in Apple显示文摘Calcium(Ca^(2+)), a crucial second messenger in plants, is involved in diverse signaling pathways including biotic and abiotic stress responses. However, the functions of most calcium sensors including calcium-dependent protein kinases(CDPKs), calmodulins(Ca Ms), calmodulinlike proteins(CMLs), and calcineurin B-like proteins(CBLs) remain limited in plants, particularly in woody plants. Currently, a total of 83 CMLs and seven Ca Ms were discovered in the apple genome in this study. Functional domain analysis showed that these CMLs and Ca Ms contain a highly conserved EF-hand motif. q RT-PCR assays indicated that these CMLs were expressed ubiquitously in apple, including in the roots, stems,leaves, flowers, and fruits, and also possessed spatial specificity. Finally, most of these CMLs were induced by hormonal and abiotic stress, suggesting their potential roles in the regulation of growth, development, and the stress response in apple. 11The Growth-Promoting Mechanism of Brevibacillus laterosporus AMCC100017 on Apple Rootstock Malus robusta显示文摘Plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria(PGPR) located in rhizobacteria soil are beneficial to plant growth and development. A PGPR strain AMCC100017 of Brevibacillus laterosporus synthesizes the plant hormone IAA in a tryptophan-dependent manner. In this study, the AMCC100017 strain was used to treat Malus robusta, an excellent natural rootstock for apple production, and assess its ability to promote growth. The fresh weight, dry weight, plant height, and lateral root growth of M. robusta were significantly increased with treatment. The presence of the AMCC100017 strain increased IAA content in M. robusta and promoted root secretion of tryptophan. Colonization of the strain in the roots allowed continuous synthesis of IAA and promoted plant growth. In addition, the photosynthetic efficiency in leaves increased after microbial treatment, and the utilization of nitrogen, zinc, iron, copper and magnesium in leaves was increased, which was conducive to photosynthesis.Interestingly, the activities of CAT and SOD, as well as the contents of ROS in plants colonized by AMCC100017 were increased compared to control plants, but the activities of POD and MDA contents were decreased. AMCC100017 strain affected the antioxidant capacity and stress resistance of plants. AMCC100017 strain increased the content of soluble protein and soluble sugar in plants, improved plant metabolic activity and stress resistance. 12The prior rules of designing Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene-based gas sensors显示文摘Working temperature,sensitivity,and selectivity are some of the characteristics of the applied gas sensors.How to design and fabricate an ideal gas sensor working at room temperature is still challenging and attracting lots of interest.Two-dimensional(2D)materials with ultra-thin structure have been demonstrated as a family of ideal candidates to achieve this goal.Among them,Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene,a kind of layered sheet synthesized by selectively etching MAX phases materials,shows remarkable potential to be the sensitive materials solely or in a composite.However,their designing rules are still lacking critical thinking from the viewpoint of the intrinsic property of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene based materials.In this article,two critical features,i.e.,the thickness of the sensitive materials,and the scope of the analytes,are elaborated towards Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene based gas sensors after characterizing the performance of sensing reducing gases(NH3 and CO)and oxidizing gas(NO2).First,the thinner the Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene sensitive layer,the better the sensitivity.Second,the Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene based gas sensor is not suitable for strong and moderate oxidation gas due to its ease of oxidation.These two rules are demonstrated,and could be considered with priority both in the future researches and practical applications.Yingying Jian Danyao Qu Lihao Guo Yujin Zhu Chen Su Huanran Feng Guangjian Zhang Jia Zhang Weiwei Wu Ming-Shui Yao 2021Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2021,15,3:3

14Regulation of impedance matching feature and electronic structure of nitrogen-doped carbon nanotubes for high-performance electromagnetic wave absorption显示文摘In this study,we developed a facile method to fabricate three-dimensional(3D)structures composed of FeNi alloy nanoparticles encapsulated in N-doped carbon nanotubes that grafted on the SiO_(2) spheres(Fe_(x)Ni_(y)@NCNT@SiO_(2))for electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorption.The experimental results suggest that the impedance matching characteristic can be tuned by the introduction of SiO_(2) spheres in the 3D structure.Density functional theory(DFT)calculations showed that the introduction of Ni improved the polarization and conductive losses of the Fe_(x)Ni_(y)@NCNT@SiO_(2).As a result,the optimal 3D structure exhibits excellent EMW absorption property with a reflection loss and effective absorption bandwidth are-49.39 dB and 4.32 GHz,respectively,even though the matching thickness is only 1.6 mm,superior to most magnetic carbon-based composites.Thus,our current approach opens up an effective way to the development of low-cost,high-performance EMW absorbers.Fenghui Cao Jia Xu Minjie Liu Feng Yan Qiuyun Ouyang Xitian Zhang Xiaoli Zhang Yujin Chen 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,13:3
15Auxin response factor 6A regulates photosynthesis,sugar accumulation,and fruit development in tomato显示文摘Auxin response factors(ARFs)are involved in auxin-mediated transcriptional regulation in plants.In this study,we performed functional characterization of SlARF6A in tomato.SlARF6A is located in the nucleus and exhibits transcriptional activator activity.Overexpression of SlARF6A increased chlorophyll contents in the fruits and leaves of tomato plants,whereas downregulation of SlARF6A decreased chlorophyll contents compared with those of wild-type(WT)plants.Analysis of chloroplasts using transmission electron microscopy indicated increased sizes of chloroplasts in SlARF6A-overexpressing plants and decreased numbers of chloroplasts in SlARF6A-downregulated plants.Overexpression of SlARF6A increased the photosynthesis rate and accumulation of starch and soluble sugars,whereas knockdown of SlARF6A resulted in opposite phenotypes in tomato leaves and fruits.RNA-sequence analysis showed that regulation of SlARF6A expression altered the expression of genes involved in chlorophyll metabolism,photosynthesis and sugar metabolism.SlARF6A directly bound to the promoters of SlGLK1,CAB,and RbcS genes and positively regulated the expression of these genes.Overexpression of SlARF6A also inhibited fruit ripening and ethylene production,whereas downregulation of SlARF6A increased fruit ripening and ethylene production.SlARF6A directly bound to the SAMS1 promoter and negatively regulated SAMS1 expression.Taken together,these results expand our understanding of ARFs with regard to photosynthesis,sugar accumulation and fruit development and provide a potential target for genetic engineering to improve fruit nutrition in horticulture crops.Yujin Yuan Xin Xu Zehao Gong Yuwei Tang Mengbo Wu Fang Yan Xiaolan Zhang Qian Zhang Fengqing Yang Xiaowei Hu Qichen Yang Yingqing Luo Lihua Mei Wenfa Zhang Cai-Zhong Jiang Wangjin Lu Zhengguo Li Wei Deng 2019Horticulture Research2019,6,1:3
16Upper crustal anisotropy from local shear-wave splitting and crust-mantle coupling of Yunnan,SE margin of Tibetan Plateau显示文摘The upper crustal anisotropy of Yunnan area, SE margin of Tibetan Plateau, is investigated by measuring the shear wave splitting of local earthquakes. The mean value of the measured delay times is 0.054 s and far less than that from Pms splitting analysis, indicating that the crustal anisotropy is contributed mostly from mid-lower crust. The fast polarization directions are mostly sub-parallel to the maximum horizontal compression directions while the stations near fault zones show fault-parallel fast polarization directions, suggesting both stress and geological structure contribute to the upper crust anisotropy.Comparing fast polarization directions from shear wave splitting of local earthquakes and Pms, large angle differences are shown at most stations, implying different anisotropy properties between upper and mid-lower crust. However, in southwestern Yunnan, the fast polarization directions of Pms and Swave splitting are nearly parallel, and the stress and surface strain rate directions show strong correlation, which may indicate that the surface and deep crust deformations can be explained by the same mechanism and the surface deformation can represent the deformation of the whole crust. Therefore,the high correlation between surface strain and mantle deformation in this area suggests the mechanical coupling between crust and mantle in southwestern Yunnan. In the rest region of Yunnan, the crustmantle coupling mechanisms are supported by the lack of significant crustal anisotropy with Ne S fast polarization directions from Pms splitting. 17A New Species of Coniopteris moguqiensis sp. nov. from the Middle Jurassic Wanbao Formation in Eastern Inner Mongolia, China显示文摘In recent years, an increasing number of plant fossil leaves and petrified woods have been discovered from the Middle Jurassic Wanbao Formation in Moguqi Town of Inner Mongolia, NE China. Here, we describe a new species of Coniopteris moguqiensis sp. nov. preserved as a fragment with fertile and sterile pinnules. The sterile ultimate pinnules are elongate ovate with sphenopteriod type venation, and fertile pinnules are usually isolated, bipinnate at least with the sorus apical, elliptical, 1 mm in diameter;sporangia are almost globular, 100-150 μm in diameter, and the annulus is vertical. In situ spores are rounded-triangular in polar view, 25-30 μm in diameter with sides straight and slightly convex;trilete, laesurae are thin and slightly straight;the exine surface is usually psilate under the light microscope but finely reticuloid sculptured on the proximal view under a scanning electronic microscope. The fern genus Coniopteris usually suggests a warm and humid environment, which is consistent with the palaeoclimatic conditions of petrified wood and megafossil plants. 18Genome-wide identification and functional characterization of the MdCLE peptide family in apple(Malus×domestica)显示文摘The CLAVATA3/EMBRYO SURROUNDING REGION-related(CLE)peptides are critical for stem cell homeostasis in plant shoot and root apical meristem.Although CLE genes have been reported in numerous plants,there is limited information for apple.Here,twenty-five MdCLE genes were identified fromapple genome(Apple Genome V1.0 predicted peptides).Analysis of chromosomal location showed that the 25 MdCLE genes were located on 12 of 17 apple chromosomes.Genetic structure analysis showed that 21 of 25 the MdCLE genes were intron-free.Expression patterns showed thatmost of the MdCLE genes showed higher expression levels in leaves and root compared with the other tissues.In addition,expression analysis demonstrated that MdCLE genes had different gene expression patterns for abiotic stress treatment,suggesting their potential roles in acclimation of apple to adverse environments.The 25 MdCLE genes encoded 19 different CLE peptides,and they were divided into two groups depending on their effects on the inhibition of Arabidopsis root growth.Our results suggest that MdCLE genesmay have an important but redundant function in regulating plant growth and development,and this work provides valuable references for further investigation of the biological functions of MdCLE genes.Tianen Zhang Xiuming Li Qiang Zhao Yan Shi Yujin Hao Chunxiang You 2022Horticultural Plant Journal2022,8,3:2
19Genome-wide analysis of the barley non-specific lipid transfer protein gene family显示文摘Non-specific lipid transfer proteins(nsLTPs) are small, basic proteins that are characterized by an eight-cysteine motif. The biological functions of these proteins have been reported to involve plant reproduction and biotic or abiotic stress response. With the completion of the barley genome sequence, a genome-wide analysis of nsLTPs in barley(Hordeum vulgare L.)(HvLTPs) will be helpful for understanding the function of nsLTPs in plants. We performed a genome-wide analysis of the nsLTP gene family in barley and identified 70 nsLTP genes,which can be divided into five types(1, 2, C, D, and G). Each type of nsLTPs shares similar exon and intron gene structures. Expression analysis showed that barley nsLTPs have diverse expression patterns, revealing their various roles. 20Microstructural evolution of h-BN matrix composite ceramics with La-Al-Si-O glass phase during hot-pressed sintering显示文摘BN/La-Al-Si-O composite ceramics were fabricated by hot-pressed sintering using hexagonal boron nitride(h-BN),lanthanum oxide(La_(2)O_(3)),aluminia(Al_(2)O_(3)),and amorphous silica(SiO_(2))as the raw materials.The effects of sintering temperature on microstructural evolution,bulk density,apparent porosity,and mechanical properties of the h-BN composite ceramics were investigated.The results indicated that La-Al-Si-O liquid phase was formed during sintering process,which provided an environment for the growth of h-BN grains.With increasing sintering temperature,the cristobalite phase precipitation and h-BN grain growth occurred at the same time,which had a significant influence on the densification and mechanical properties of h-BN composite ceramics.The best mechanical properties of BN/La-Al-Si-O composite ceramics were obtained under the sintering temperature of 1700℃.The elastic modulus,flexural strength,and fracture toughness were 80.5 GPa,266.4 MPa,and 3.25 MPa·m^(1/2),respectively.Baofu QIU Xiaoming DUAN Zhuo ZHANG Chen ZHAO Bo NIU Peigang HE Delong CAI Lei CHEN Zhihua YANG Yujin WANG Dechang JIA Yu ZHOU 2021Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,3:2
