1Relationship between the Flow Blockage of Tip Leakage Vortex and its Evolutionary Procedures inside the Rotor Passage of a Subsonic Axial Compressor显示文摘The near casing flow fields inside the rotor passage of a 1.5 stage axial compressor with different blade-loading levels and tip gap sizes were measured by using stereoscopic particle image velocimetry(SPIV). Based on a carefully defined blockage extracting method, the variations of blockage parameter inside the blade passage were analyzed. It was found that the variation of blockage parameter appeared as a non-monotonic behavior inside the blade passage in most cases. This non-monotonic behavior became much more remarkable as the blade loading increases or mass flow rate decreases.The variations of the blockage parameter inside the blade passage had close relation to the evolutionary procedures of the tip leakage vortex(TLV). The destabilization of the TLV caused a rapid increasing of the blockage parameter. After the TLV lost the features of a concentrated streamwise vortex,the blockage parameter usually got a peak value. 2Numerical study on dynamic mechanism of brain volume and shear deformation under blast loading显示文摘Blast-induced traumatic brain injury(b-TBI)is a kind of significant injury to soldiers in the current military conflicts.However,the mechanism of b-TBI has not been well understood,and even there are some contradictory conclusions.It is crucial to reveal the dynamic mechanism of brain volume and shear deformations under blast loading for better understanding of b-TBI.In this paper,the numerical simulation method is adopted to carry out comprehensive and in-depth researches on this issue for the first time.Based on the coupled Eulerian-Lagrangian method,the fluid-structure coupling model of the blast wave and human head is developed to simulate two situations,namely the head subjected to the frontal and lateral impacts.The simulation results are analyzed to obtain the underlying dynamic mechanisms of brain deformation.The brain volume deformation is dominated by the local bending vibration of the skull,and the corresponding frequency for the forehead skull under the frontal impact and the lateral skull faced to the lateral impact is as high as 8 kHz and 5 kHz,respectively.This leads to the high-frequency fluctuation of brain pressure and the large pressure gradient along the skull,totally different from the dynamic response of brain under head collisions.While the brain shear deformation mainly depends on the relative tangential displacement between the skull and brain and the anatomical structure of inner skull,being not related to the brain pressure and its gradient.By further comparing the medical statistics,it is inferred that diffuse axonal injury and brain contusion,the two most common types of b-TBI,are mainly attributed to brain shear deformations.And the von Mises stress can be adopted as the indicator for these two brain injuries.This study can provide theoretical guidance for the diagnosis of b-TBI and the development of protective equipment.Zhijie Li Zhibo Du Xiaochuan You Zhanli Liu Jian Cheng Chengcheng Luo Dongyang Chu Shaowu Ning Yue Kang Ce Yang Zhuo Zhuang 2019Acta Mechanica Sinica2019,35,5:3
3Preclinical efficacy against acute myeloid leukaemia of SH1573, a novel mutant IDH2 inhibitor approved for clinical trials in China显示文摘Acute myeloid leukaemia(AML) is the most common form of acute leukaemia in adults,with increasing incidence with age and a generally poor prognosis.Almost 20% of AML patients express mutant isocitrate dehydrogenase 2(mIDH2),which leads to the accumulation of the carcinogenic metabolite 2-hydroxyglutarate(2-HG),resulting in poor prognosis.Thus,global institutions have been working to develop mIDH2 inhibitors.SH1573 is a novel mIDH2 inhibitor that we independently designed and synthesised.We have conducted a comprehensive study on its pharmacodynamics,pharmacokinetics and safety.First,SH1573 exhibited a strong selective inhibition of mIDH2 R140 Q protein,which could effectively reduce the production of 2-HG in cell lines,serum and tumors of an animal model.It could also promote the differentiation of mutant AML cell lines and granulocytes in PDX models.Then,it was confirmed that SH1573 possessed characteristics of high bioavailability,good metabolic stability and wide tissue distribution.Finally,toxicological data showed that SH1573 had no effects on the respiratory system,cardiovascular system and nervous system,and was genetically safe.This research successfully promoted the approval of SH1573 for clinical trials(CTR20200247).All experiments demonstrated that,as a potential drug against mIDH2 R140 Q acute myeloid leukaemia,SH1573 was effective and safe.Zhiqiang Wang Zhibo Zhang Yong Li Li Sun Dezhen Peng Danyu Du Xian Zhang Luwei Han Liwen Zhao Ligong Lu Hongzhi Du Shengtao Yuan Meixiao Zhan 2021Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,6:3

5Clinical factors associated with composition of lung microbiota and important taxa predicting clinical prognosis in patients with severe community-acquired pneumonia显示文摘Few studies have described the key features and prognostic roles of lung microbiota in patients with severe community-acquired pneumonia(SCAP).We prospectively enrolled consecutive SCAP patients admitted to ICU.Bronchoscopy was performed at bedside within 48 h of ICU admission,and 16S rRNA gene sequencing was applied to the collected bronchoalveolar lavage fluid.The primary outcome was clinical improvements defined as a decrease of 2 categories and above on a 7-category ordinal scale within 14 days following bronchoscopy.Sixty-seven patients were included.Multivariable permutational multivariate analysis of variance found that positive bacteria lab test results had the strongest independent association with lung microbiota(R2=0.033;P=0.018),followed by acute kidney injury(AKI;R2=0.032;P=0.011)and plasma MIP-1βlevel(R2=0.027;P=0.044).Random forest identified that the families Prevotellaceae,Moraxellaceae,and Staphylococcaceae were the biomarkers related to the positive bacteria lab test results.Multivariable Cox regression showed that the increase inα-diversity and the abundance of the families Prevotellaceae and Actinomycetaceae were associated with clinical improvements.The positive bacteria lab test results,AKI,and plasma MIP-1βlevel were associated with patients’lung microbiota composition on ICU admission.The families Prevotellaceae and Actinomycetaceae on admission predicted clinical improvements.Sisi Du Xiaojing Wu Binbin Li Yimin Wang Lianhan Shang Xu Huang Yudi Xia Donghao Yu Naicong Lu Zhibo Liu Chunlei Wang Xinmeng Liu Zhujia Xiong Xiaohui Zou Binghuai Lu Yingmei Liu Qingyuan Zhan Bin Cao 2022Frontiers of Medicine2022,16,3:2
6Embedding ultrasmall Ag nanoclusters in Luria-Bertani extract via light irradiation for enhanced antibacterial activity显示文摘Ultrasmall silver nanoclusters(Ag NCs)with rich surface chemistry and good biocompatibility are promising in antibacterial application,however,further development of Ag NCs for practical settings has been constrained by their relatively weak antibacterial activity.Using the nutritionally-rich medium for bacteria(e.g.,Luria-Bertani(LB)medium)to coat active Ag NCs could further improve their antibacterial activity.Here,we provide a delicate design of a highly efficient Ag NCs@ELB antibacterial agent(ELB denotes the extract of LB medium)by anchoring Ag NCs inside the ELB species via light irradiation.The as-designed Ag NCs with bacterium-favored nutrients on the surface can be easily swallowed by the bacteria,boosting the production of the intracellular reactive oxygen species(ROS,about 2-fold of that in the pristine Ag NCs).Subsequently,a higher concentration of ROS generated in Ag NCs@ELB leads to enhanced antibacterial activity,and enables to reduce the colony forming units(CFU)of both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria with 3–4 orders of magnitude less than that treated with the pristine Ag NCs.In addition,the Ag NCs@ELB also shows good biocompatibility.This study suggests that surface engineering of active species(e.g.,Ag NCs)with nutritionally-rich medium of the bacteria is an efficient way to improve their antibacterial activity.Ziping Wang Yushuang Fang Xianfeng Zhou Zhibo Li Haiguang Zhu Fanglin Du Xun Yuan Qiaofeng Yao Jianping Xie 2020Nano Research2020,13,1:1

8Compensation method for performance degradation of optically addressed spatial light modulator induced by CW laser显示文摘In this paper,we propose an effective method to compensate for the performance degradation of optically addressed spatial light modulators(OASLMs).The thermal deposition problem usually leads to the on-off ratio reduction of amplitude OASLM,so it is difficult to achieve better results in high-power laser systems.Through the analysis of the laser-induced temperature rise model and the liquid crystal layer voltage model,it is found that reducing the driving voltage of the liquid crystal light valve and increasing the driving current of the optical writing module can compensate for the decrease of on-off ratio caused by temperature rise.This is the result of effectively utilizing the photoconductive effect of Bi_(12)SiO_(20)(BSO)crystal.The experimental results verify the feasibility of the proposed method and increase the laser withstand power of amplitude-only OASLM by about a factor of 2.5.Tongyao Du Dajie Huang He Cheng Wei Fan Zhibo Xing Xuechun Li Jianqiang Zhu 2022High Power Laser Science and Engineering2022,10,1:1

10Geochronology and Geochemistry of the Mamupu Cu-Au Polymetallic Deposit,Eastern Tibet:Implications for Eocene Cu Metallogenesis in the Yulong Porphyry Copper Belt显示文摘The Mamupu skarn-type Cu-Au polymetallic deposit represents the first discovery of a medium deposit in the southern Yulong porphyry copper belt(YPCB),eastern Tibet.The Cu-Au mineralization mainly occurs as chalcopyrite in breccia,within the plate-like carbonate interlayer,being closely related to chloritization(e.g.,chlorite,magnetite and epidote)and skarnization(e.g.,diopside,tremolite and garnet).The ore-related quartz syenite porphyry(QSP)and granodiorite porphyry(GP)were emplaced at 40.1±0.2 Ma and 39.9±0.3 Ma,respectively.The QSP of Mamupu is an alkaline-rich intrusion,relatively enriched in LREE,LILE,depleted in HFSE,with no significant negative Eu and Ce anomalies,slightly high(^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr)i,lowε_(Nd)(t),uniform(^(206)Pb/^(204)Pb)i andε_(Hf)(t)values,which indicates that the porphyry magma may be caused by both the mixing of metasomatized EM II enriched mantle and thickened juvenile lower crust.The QSP in the Mamupu deposit shares a similar genesis of petrology to other ore-related porphyries within the YPCB.High oxygen fugacity and water content of the magmas are essential for the formation of porphyry and skarn Cu deposits.The QSP has similar high magmatic oxidation states and water content to the Yulong deposit,which indicates that the Mamupu has a high prospecting potential.Differences in the geological characteristics and scale of mineralization between the Mamupu and other YPCB deposits may be due to the different emplacement depths of ore-related intrusions,as well as differences in the surrounding rocks.ZHANG Xiaoxu LIN Bin TANG Juxing HE Liang LIU Zhibo WANG Qin SHAO Rui DU Qiu SILANG Wangdui CIREN Ouzhu GUSANG Quzhen CIDAN Zhongga 2022Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2022,96,4:0
11High laser damage threshold reflective optically addressed liquid crystal light valve based on gallium nitride conductive electrodes显示文摘In this paper,the feasibility of a high laser damage threshold liquid crystal spatial light modulator based on gallium nitride(GaN)transparent conductive electrodes is proved.The laser-induced damage threshold(LIDT)is measured,and a high LIDT reflective optically addressed liquid crystal light valve(OALCLV)based on GaN is designed and fabricated.The proper work mode of the OALCLV is determined;the OALCLV obtained a maximum reflectivity of about 55%and an on–off ratio of 55:1,and an image response is demonstrated.Zhibo Xing Wei Fan Dajie Huang He Cheng Tongyao Du 2022High Power Laser Science and Engineering2022,10,6:0
