2Rabdosia serra alleviates dextran sulfate sodium salt-induced colitis in mice through anti-inflammation,regulating Th17/Treg balance,maintaining intestinal barrier integrity,and modulating gut microbiota显示文摘Rabdosia serra(R.serra),an important component of Chinese herbal tea,has traditionally been used to treat hepatitis,jaundice,cholecystitis,and colitis.However,the chemical composition of R.serra and its effect against colitis remain unclear.In this study,the chemical composition of the water extract of R.serra was analyzed using ultra performance liquid chromatography coupled with a hybrid linear ion trap quadrupole-orbitrap mass spectrometer(UPLC-LTQ-Orbitrap-MS).A total of 46 compounds,comprising ent-kaurane diterpenoids,flavonoids,phenolic acids,and steroids,were identified in the water extract of R.serra,and the extract could significantly alleviate dextran sulfate sodium salt-induced colitis by improving colon length,upregulating anti-inflammatory factors,downregulating proinflammatory factors,and restoring the balance of T helper 17/T regulatory cells.R.serra also preserved intestinal barrier function by increasing the level of tight junction proteins(zonula occludens 1 and occludin)in mouse colonic tissue.In addition,R.serra modulated the gut microbiota composition by increasing bacterial richness and diversity,increasing the abundance of beneficial bacteria(Muribaculaceae,Bacteroides,Lactobacillus,and Prevotellaceae_UCG-001),and decreasing the abundance of pathogenic bacteria(Turicibacter,Eubacterium_fissicatena_group,and Eubacterium_xylanophilum_group).Gut microbiota depletion by antibiotics further confirmed that R.serra alleviated colitis in a microbiota-dependent manner.Overall,our findings provide chemical and biological evidence for the potential application of R.serra in the management of colitis.Hongyi Li Yi Wang Shumin Shao Hui Yu Deqin Wang Chuyuan Li Qin Yuan Wen Liu Jiliang Cao Xiaojuan Wang Haibiao Guo Xu Wu Shengpeng Wang 2022Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2022,12,6:4

5Extraordinarily stable and wide-temperature range sodium/potassium-ion batteries based on 1D SnSe2-SePAN composite nanofibers显示文摘Developing electrodes with long lifespan and wide-temperature adaptability is crucial important to achieve high-performance sodium/potassium-ion batteries(SIBs/PIBs).Herein,the SnSe2-SePAN composite was fabricated for extraordinarily stable and wide-temperature range SIBs/PIBs through a coupling strategy between controllable electrospinning and selenylation,in which SnSe2 nanoparticles were uniformly encapsulated in the SePAN matrix.The unique structure of SnSe2-SePAN not only relieves drastic volume variation but also guarantees the structural integrity of the composite,endowing SnSe2-SePAN with excellent sodium/potassium storage properties.Consequently,SnSe2-SePAN displays a high sodium storage capacity and excellent feasibility in a wide working temperature range(-15 to 60℃:300 mAh g^(-1)/700 cycles/-15℃;352 mAh g^(-1)/100 cycles/60℃at 0.5 A g^(-1)).At room temperature,it delivers a record-ultralong cycling life of 192 mAh g^(-1)that exceeds 66000 cycles even at 15 A g^(-1).It exhibits extremely superb electrochemical performance in PIBs(157 mAh g^(-1)exceeding 15000 cycles at 5 A g^(-1)).The ex situ XRD and TEM results attest the conversion-alloy mechanism of SnSe2-SePAN.Also,computational calculations verify that SePAN takes an important role in intensifying the electrochemical performance of SnSe2-SePAN electrode.Therefore,this study breaks new ground on solving the polyselenide dissolution issue and improving the wide temperature workable performance of sodium/potassium storage.Yiyi Wang Fuyu Xiao Xi Chen Peixun Xiong Chuyuan Lin Hong-En Wang Mingdeng Wei Qingrong Qian Qinghua Chen Lingxing Zeng 2023InfoMat2023,5,9:1

8Exciton-polariton based WS_(2)polarization modulator controlled by optical Stark beam显示文摘The recent era of fast optical manipulation and optical devices owe a lot to exciton-polaritons being lighter in mass,faster in speed and stronger in nonlinearity due to hybrid light-matter characteristics.The room temperature existence of polaritons in two dimensional materials opens up new avenues to the design and analysis of all optical devices and has gained the researchers attention.Here,spin-selective optical Stark effect is introduced to form a waveguide effect in uniform community of polaritons,and is used to realize polarization modulation of polaritons.The proposed device basically takes advantage of the spin-sensitive properties of optical Stark effect of polaritons inside the WS_(2)microcavity so as to guide different modes and modulate polarization of polaritons.It is shown that polaritonic wavepacket of different mode profiles can be generated by changing intensity of the optical Stark beam and the polarization of polaritons can be controlled and changed periodically along the formed waveguide by introduction birefringence that is sensitive to polarization degree of the optical Stark beam.Mahnoor Shahzadi Chuyuan Zheng Sheraz Ahmad Shanshan Wang Weili Zhang 2022Opto-Electronic Advances2022,5,11:0
9Adaptive scheduling method for dynamic robotic cell based on pattern classification algorithm显示文摘In order to deal with the dynamic production environment with frequent fluctuation of processing time,robotic cell needs an efficient scheduling strategy which meets the real-time requirements.This paper proposes an adaptive scheduling method based on pattern classification algorithm to guide the online scheduling process.The method obtains the scheduling knowledge of manufacturing system from the production data and establishes an adaptive scheduler,which can adjust the scheduling rules according to the current production status.In the process of establishing scheduler,how to choose essential attributes is the main difficulty.In order to solve the low performance and low efficiency problem of embedded feature selection method,based on the application of Extreme Gradient Boosting model(XGBoost)to obtain the adaptive scheduler,an improved hybrid optimization algorithm which integrates Gini impurity of XGBoost model into Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO)is employed to acquire the optimal subset of features.The results based on simulated robotic cell system show that the proposed PSO-XGBoost algorithm outperforms existing pattern classification algorithms and the newly learned adaptive model can improve the basic dispatching rules.At the same time,it can meet the demand of real-time scheduling.Chuyuan Wang Linxuan Zhang Chongdang Liu 2018International Journal of Modeling, Simulation, and Scientific Computing2018,9,5:0

11Peptidic defective interfering gene nanoparticles against Omicron,Delta SARS-CoV-2 variants and influenza A virus in vivo显示文摘Defective interfering genes(DIGs)are short viral genomes and interfere with wild-type viral replication.Here,we demonstrate that the new designed SARS-CoV-2 DIG(CD3600)can significantly inhibit the replication of SARS-CoV-2 including Alpha,Delta,Kappa and Omicron variants in human HK-2 cells and influenza DIG(PAD4)can significantly inhibit influenza virus replication in human A549 cells.One dose of influenza DIGs prophylactically protects 90%mice from lethal challenge of A(H1N1)pdm09 virus and CD3600 inhibits SARS-CoV-2 replication in hamster lungs when DIGs are administrated to lungs one day before viral challenge.To further investigate the gene delivery vector in the respiratory tract,a peptidic TAT2-P1&LAH4,which can package genes to form small spherical nanoparticles with high endosomal escape ability,is demonstrated to dramatically increase gene expression in the lung airway.TAT2-P1&LAH4,with the dual-functional TAT2-P1(gene-delivery and antiviral),can deliver CD3600 to significantly inhibit the replication of Delta and Omicron SARS-CoV-2 in hamster lungs.This peptide-based nanoparticle system can effectively transfect genes in lungs and deliver DIGs to inhibit SARS-CoV-2 variants and influenza virus in vivo,which provides the new insight into the drug delivery system for gene therapy against respiratory viruses.Hanjun Zhao Chuyuan Zhang Hoiyan Lam Xinjie Meng Zheng Peng Man Lung Yeung Jasper Fuk-Woo Chan Kelvin Kai-Wang To Kwok-Yung Yuen 2022Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,9:0
