1Recent developments in high-strength Mg-RE-based alloys:Focusing on Mg-Gd and Mg-Y systems显示文摘Higher strength is always the goal pursued by researchers for the structural materials,especially for the lightweight magnesium(Mg)alloys which generally have relatively low strength at present.From this aspect,the present paper reviews the recent reports of a kind of Mg alloys,i.e.Mg-RE(RE:rare earths,mainly Gd or Y)casting and wrought alloys,which have been able to achieve high strength compared with common or commercial Mg alloys,from the viewpoint and content of the alloy system,alloying constitution,preparation process,tensile strength and each of the main strengthening mechanisms.This review of recent research and developments in high-strength Mg-RE alloys is beneficial for the further design of Mg alloys with higher strength as well as excellent comprehensive performance.Jinghuai Zhang Shujuan Liu Ruizhi Wu Legan Hou Milin Zhang 2018Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2018,6,3:60
2Temporal variations and source apportionment of volatile organic compounds at an urban site in Shijiazhuang, China显示文摘Shijiazhuang,the city with the worst air quality in China,is suffering from severe ozone pollution in summer.As the key precursors of ozone generation,it is necessary to control the Volatile Organic Compounds(VOCs)pollution.To have a better understanding of the pollution status and source contribution,the concentrations of 117 ambient VOCs were analyzed from April to August 2018 in an urban site in Shijiazhuang.Results showed that the monthly average concentration of total VOCs was 66.27 ppbv,in which,the oxygenated VOCs(37.89%),alkanes(33.89%),and halogenated hydrocarbons(13.31%)were the main composite on.Eight major sources were identified using Positive Matrix Factorization modeling with an accurate VOCs emission inventory as inter-complementary methods revealed that the petrochemical industry(26.24%),other industrial sources(15.19%),and traffic source(12.24%)were the major sources for ambient VOCs in Shijiazhuang.The spatial distributions of major industrial activities emissions were identified by using geographic information statistics system,which illustrated the VOCs was mainly from the north and southeast of Shijiazhuang.The inverse trajectory analysis using Hybrid Single-Particle Lagrangian Integrated Trajectory(HYSPLIT)and Potential Source Contribution Function(PSCF)clearly demonstrated the features of pollutant transport to Shijiazhuang.These findings can provide references for local governments regarding control strategies to reduce VOCs emissions.Yanan Guan Lei Wang Shujuan Wang Yihao Zhang Jieying Xiao Xiaoli Wang Erhong Duan Li'an Hou 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,11:19

4Classification of traditional Chinese medicine constitution based on facial features in color images显示文摘Objective:To explore the possible correlation between traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)constitution and facial features in color images and to improve the accuracy of automated constitution classification.Methods:Color images were taken of 5150 individuals of different professions.Automated face detection and key point positioning were performed on the collected images,which were then transformed into a standard size.The relationship between facial features and TCM constitution based on the red,green,blue(RGB)pixel and the local binary pattern(LBP)texture features was explored.Results:The overall accuracy rate and robustness of TCM constitution classification based on RGB features were low.Classification results of the phlegm-dampness,damp-heat,blood stasis,and balance constitutions achieved high accuracy rates.Classification accuracy rate using the LBP texture feature was higher than that of the RGB feature,with the best accuracy observed for the balance constitution.Conclusion:Application of computer image acquisition and processing of facial features may serve as an adjunct to the TCM diagnostic method of inspection.Jian Zhang Shujuan Hou Ji Wang Lingru Li Pin Li Junwen Han Haiqiang Yao Ranran Sun Ziqing Li Zhen Lei Qi Wang 2016Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2016,3,3:5

19TaTIP41 and TaTAP46 positively regulate drought tolerance in wheat by inhibiting PP2A activity显示文摘Drought is a major environmental stress limiting global wheat(Triticum aestivum)production.Exploring drought tolerance genes is important for improving drought adaptation in this crop.Here,we cloned and characterized TaTIP41,a novel drought tolerance gene in wheat.TaTIP41 is a putative conserved component of target of rapamycin(TOR)signaling,and the Ta TIP41 homoeologs were expressed in response to drought stress and abscisic acid(ABA).The overexpression of Ta TIP41 enhanced drought tolerance and the ABA response,including ABA-induced stomatal closure,while its downregulation using RNA interference(RNAi)had the opposite effect.Furthermore,Ta TIP41 physically interacted with TaTAP46,another conserved component of TOR signaling.Like TaTIP41,TaTAP46 positively regulated drought tolerance.Furthermore,TaTIP41 and TaTAP46 interacted with type-2A protein phosphatase(PP2A)catalytic subunits,such as TaPP2A-2,and inhibited their enzymatic activities.Silencing TaPP2A-2 improved drought tolerance in wheat.Together,our findings provide new insights into the roles of TaTIP41 and TaTAP46 in the drought tolerance and ABA response in wheat,and their potential application in improving wheat environmental adaptability.Jianhui Ma Yuke Geng Hong Liu Mengqi Zhang Shujuan Liu Chenyang Hao Jian Hou Youfu Zhang Daijing Zhang Weijun Zhang Xueyong Zhang Tian Li 2023Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2023,65,9:0
